As we get closer and closer to the release of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Pokemon Company of Japan had released a series of comparison trailers, showcasing the differences of the new games and old. For those wishing to avoid spoilers and/or want to remain blind until the games are released, I’d encourage you to discontinue reading,
Though there have been many different comparison videos, (some where footage is spliced together rather than this video where you get old GBA footage, then the 3DS upgrade), this shows all the footage shown in the trailers in one video. In one scene, we get the footage of Professor Birch still getting chased around by that blasted Poochyena, and then you, the trainer, having to come and save the day.
In another, you get the footage of Archie inside the Oceanic Museum and having to defeat Team Aqua for the first time.
There’s also footage of the player using the Acro Bike, battling the TV crew and giving an interview, and battling some gym leaders like Norman.
While there’s no real news given here, it gives us cool insight into what the new games are going to be like with the new engine, and unless, like I said, you’re trying to go in blind, it is more than well worth a watch.
