There’s going to be many new Pokémon in X and Y, but will old Pokémon get new evolutions?
According to Gameranx, there are rumors going around about Pokémon X and Pokémon Y that involve evolutions. Absol, a Pokémon that was introduced in generation 3, is said to have an evolution form in these games. Sableye, a Pokémon that was also introduced in 3rd generation, has a high chance of getting an evolution because of its stats and outdated look. Another Pokémon that could get an evolution is Jynx.
Some Pokémon may be getting pre-evolution forms, too. Two Pokémon that are currently rumored to be getting pre-evolutions are Pinsir and Heracross.
