Harry here! Filling in again for Ray this week.

So, do you like Zapdos? I admit, it’s quite a shocking Pokemon! You could say this Big Bird has a little more going for it than its yellow plumage. It is no featherweight when it comes to bringing down the thunder on its opponents.

Okay! Okay! I’ll stop the puns! Please don’t kill me.

Let’s jolt on over to the artwork, shall we?

What can I say? Zapdos is simply an amazing Pokemon. It is a member of the legendary bird trio, the first trio of legendary Pokemon ever! In the first Pokemon movie, Pikachu even attempted to communicate with it, not with sound, but with electricity! That’s crazy!

Zapdos isn’t exactly known for its urban sightings, but it’s logical to assume that it might be attracted to areas with a lot of electricity (such as cities). Like greyanimebeat depicted, it should have no trouble with power lines.

If you see this Pokemon on a pole in your neighborhood, run the other way.

If you’re caught in a crazy storm with impossible amounts of lightning and thunder, you can guarantee that Zapdos is behind it. No other Pokemon thrives in such an environment. This might feel like a warm bath to this majestic beast.

Of course, if you see this little fellow, you might just want to take a bath with him! Don’t know if he would like the water, but you’d have one of the most unique rubber ducks around!

Warning: Hair might frizz up like no tomorrow.

Thanks for reading! Check back next Monday for Pokemon of the Week!
