Abilities: Run Away – Except for trainer battles, can always run from battle. Cannot run during Mean Look or Block or when the opponent is trapping with the Arena Trap, Magnet Pull, or Shadow Tag ability.
Flash Fire – Activates when user is hit by a damaging Fire-type move (including Fire-type Hidden Power). Once activated, user’s Fire-type moves deal 1.5 times damage. While this ability is in effect, this Pokémon is immune to damage from Fire-type attacks and Fire-type Hidden Power (accuracy and effect from these moves are ignored). For Fire-type Pokémon with this ability, Will-O-Wisp activates this ability without having an effect. If a non-Fire-type Pokémon has this ability, Will-O-Wisp will activate the ability and will have an effect.
Flame Body (Hidden) – The opponent has a 30% chance of being induced with BURN when using an attack, that requires physical contact, against this Pokémon.

For those of you that are unfamiliar with the television series My Little Pony, it is a cartoon about ponies that are magical… and the reboot developed by Lauren Faust, the writer behind The Powerpuff Girls, she has some series geek cred. Oh, she also has a dA account too: Fyre-flye. There is some overlap between the world called Pokemon and the world where friendship is magic. Maybe this crossing will be a future art feature!

This is a shiny Ponyta, with blue fire instead of the normal red/orange. Furthermore, FeralxInsaNitY opted to add some appaloosa elements including freckles on Ponyta. This really gives it a nice ‘realism’ characteristic, while still having a fantastical element to it. I think blue Ponytas look better than the standard red.

The hatchling concept is really cool and really weird at the same time. Since all Pokemon come from eggs, the image above really conflicts with my knowledge of biology. For those of you unaware, horses are mammals, and mammals do not have hard shell eggs… I think the concept of a baby Ponyta hatchling is really cool, but really odd since there are so many mammals in the Pokemon world! Otherwise, the coloring and the emotion in the image is spot on to what I would think a hatching would be like.
