A few months ago, you may have heard news about an adorable Business Man Pikachu. then you may be surprise to find out that the Pikachu was part of a new line of plushes called the Monthly Pikachu Plush series.
The Monthly Pikachu Plush series is a line of plushes that shows off Pikachu in different outfits and themes. Each Pikachu comes with it’s own story to match the attire that he is wearing.
May’s Pikachu and third in the Monthly Pikachu Plush series is Rain-Ready Pikachu. This little guy is all ready to play in the rain thanks to a special raincoat that his trainer made for him. This raincoat is just perfect for Pikachu as it comfortably fits his ears under the raincoat. He even comes with a little umbrella. This plush comes just in time for Japan’s rainy season that starts in June.
The previous plushes in this line included Fresher (Businessman) Pikachu in March who wore a businessman suit with briefcase. The second addition to the series was released in April which was called Children’s Day Pikachu who wore a samurai helm and held a pair of Magikarp kites.
The next Pikachu in the Monthly Pikachu series will be release in June but the theme hasn’t been announced. Rain-Ready Pikachu will be release on May 16 and cost 1,600 yen ($13 US dollars).
