Rebel Clash Prerelease Promos and Details

Rebel Clash
The promos are now known along with the details for Prereleases!

The upcoming release for Rebel Clash is going to live up to their name. That is because they are rebelling against the norm and being release slightly different compare to prereleases in the past.

There will be no proper Prerelease tournaments for Rebel Clash. This is due to Prereleases being cancelled because of the COVID-19 epidemic. Instead, starting on April 18th, approved retailers will be able to sell Build & Battle Box for Rebel Clash. Most likely shops that held Prereleases in the past will count as approved retailers.

The Prerelease Promos for Rebel Clash will be Flapple, Luxray, Coalossal and Garbodor. Below we will go over each card concerning what they do.

Flapple

Flapple could see some play due to it’s Apple Drop ability. Once during your turn, you may put two damage counters on your opponent’s Pokemon. That could help in getting some vital knockouts on your opponent if you just need a little bit of damage. Though, the downside of this ability is that Fapple gets shuffle back into the deck. That would mean the timing of this ability will matter a lot.

Luxray

Luxray has the potential to be a quick and powerful attack. For a single Lightning energy, it can do 160 damage as long as it evolved from Luxio during that same turn.

You can then do 120 next turn if you attach another energy to Luxray. Though, the challenge will be having one Luxray to go each turn or replace one quickly if one gets knockout..

The plus to this is that there is plenty of Electric support to boost damage. So it will be easy for Luxray to do some big damage.

Coalossal

Coalossal will be a heavily wanted card thanks to it’s Tar Generator ability. This ability allows you to attach Fire or Fighting energy from your Discard. The best part is that you can attach the energy to anybody on your side of the field. That includes active and Bench.

This type of energy acceleration is pretty impressive. Especially for Fighting types who do not normally see Energy acceleration. The only con is that you need to get a Stage 2 on the field.

Garbodor

Garbodor has the Poison Pile ability which will allow you to Poison your opponent’s Pokemon if there is a stadium on the field. This could be useful to put extra damage on your opponent’s Pokemon. Though, Toxtricity VMAX would appreciate help from this ability. After all, his main attack does more damage if the active Pokemon is poisoned.

You can start purchasing Prerelease kits for Rebel Clash starting on April 18th. Booster packs for Rebel Clash will be on sale starting on May 1st.

Best of luck in your pulls! Have fun!
