Time to break into a new card and mechanic! This week we are going to feature a match that uses Marowak and Marowak BREAK from BREAKthrough. We are going to show off matches that MikePTCGO had using this deck that can be a real bone in somebody’s side.
The Marowak Deck takes advantage of all the Pokemon EX that is running around in the format. It uses hit-and-run tactics by using Marowak’s Bone Windmill. This attack does 60 damage and if Marowak is attacking an EX Pokemon then it will return back to the bench. After you do that, simply promote a Robo Substitute or Hawlucha with a Focus Sash. That way you can simply have your opponent attack a Robo Substitute so they won’t take a prize. You could promote Hawlucha who won’t be knocked out thanks to Focus Sash and allow you to retreat next turn. Then repeat the process again by putting Marowak back in the active. If you opponent ends up taking too many prizes then you can BREAK Evolve into Marowak BREAK to use Bone Revenge. This attack does twenty damage and then 40 more for each prize your opponent has taken.
