TCG Jump: Featured Match- Mega Kangaskhan ATTACKS!

MEGA Kangaskhan
This week we are going to feature a match using M Kangaskhan EX from the new Flashfire TCG set by popular Pokemon YouTuber, FizzyStardust. Prepare to see a deck that can pack a real punch and rack up the damage. It may take some time to get started but once it does then this deck can start hitting hard thanks to M Kangaskhan EX and his friends.

Click below to learn about this deck and see the amazing one-two combo punch from this mother-child duo and FizzyStardust!

M Kangaskhan EX is a Mega Pokemon that has a single attack called Wham Bam Punch. The attack may sound silly but it is nothing to laugh at. Wham Bam Punch can do 100 damage plus 30 more for each head that is flipped until you get tails. It can knock out EX Pokemon with simple three Colorless energy. There are a few downsides to this attack such as getting three energy on to M Kangaskhan EX. The flip factor is also another thing to worry about. Lastly, there is the fact that M Kangaskhan EX is a Mega Pokemon which means your turn will end upon Mega Evolving. Luckily, there are some cards to help make M Kangaskhan easier to play with.

As you will see from the video, FizzyStardust used Xerneas‘s Geomancy to quickly attach Fairy energy onto the bench. He then used Aromatisse‘s Fairy Transfer ability to move the energy around to power up the active M Kangaskhan EX. It may be a little painful but by turn three, there will be an active M Kangaskhan EX ready to Wham Bam Punch their way to victory. The only thing needed is a Victini to use Victory Star to reflip. Victini’s Victory Star ability allows the user to reflip for any attacks requiring a coin flip. So if you get a tails on your first coin flip then Victory Star can come in to give you another chance for a high damage output attack.

What makes FizzyStardust’s deck even better? The use of Max Potion to heavy mileage from one M Kangaskhan. A problem with Mega Pokemon is that you do not want them to get knocked out because setting up another one will take up time due to your turn ending upon Mega Evolving. It is a good thing that it is hard to knock out a Mega Pokemon with a single attack. This will give you the chance to move Fairy energy attached to M Kangaskhan EX and use a Max Potion to remove damage from it. Then just move the energy back and attack. It is a strategy that can ensure your M Kangaskhan will be in battle for a long time and possibly set up another one in the background.

Fighting Pokemon may prove to be a challenge but right now the metagame doesn’t have any Fighting decks to punch out M Kangaskhan EX. Now get ready to see M Kangaskhan EX come in to row out the punches in a highly entertaining match.
