It is time to dig into a new match featuring some new cards. This time we are going to be featuring a new face as well! This week we are featuring a match from Pokemon TCG Center where he is going to be using a deck featuring Durant and Mew!
The Mew from Fates Collide has an interesting ability call Memories of Dawn which allows it to use any attacks from your Basic Pokemon. Several ideas revolving around this ability has been talked about but using it with Durant from BREAKpoint may be the most interesting one. This Durant has an attack call Scrape Down where it is able to discard the top for cards from your opponent’s deck if it has any damage counters on it.
This is where Mew comes in with a Rainbow Energy and Dimension Valley. Simply play down Dimension Valley and attach a Rainbow Energy to Mew and now it can use Durant’s Scrape Down as it’s own. Next you can play cards like Trick Shovel and Team Rocket’s Handiwork to discard more cards from your opponent’s deck. Your opponent will be racing against time as they try to knock out your legion of Durant and Mew to prevent you from milling their deck.
