Amazon Echo? A Pokedex?!?

It's not hard to believe that this Kalos Pokedex by artist Robbie Nordgren is real.

Even though the Amazon Echo, which uses voice-recognition and the Cloud to be a home smart device, is not red, handheld, or be able to help you in a Pokémon battle, it can still be used as a Pokedex.

In addition to checking weather, getting Sports news, or acting as a thermostat, it can also tell you Pokémon height, weight, special abilities.

This was demonstrated by Youtuber Vince Pale, Jr. who told Amazon Echo’s voice assistant Alexa to “Ask Dexter” about the stats of Growlithe, Pikachu, and Totodile.

This was used using an Android based Pokedex app, as called by Pale as “Dexter”.
