More details about this month’s Community Day has been revealed!
You can expect to do more then just catch Abra this upcoming Community Day! That is because Pokemon GO will be allowing players to take part in a Special Research Story and April Community Day bundle. You can also expect several other features to go along with this month’s Community Day.
Special Research Story: Investigating Illusions!
A Special Research Story will be available only for April’s Community Day called Investigating Illusions. There isn’t any details about this Story event.
What we do know is that this story event will cost $1 in the US or $1 or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency. Those who take part in this event will receive the following upon completion: 13,000 Stardust, a Poffin, a Rocket Radar, and other rewards.
As mention before, details about this event are unknown. Perhaps it may involve Zorua due to the fact that this Pokemon can create illusions. Though, it sounds as if Team GO Rocket will be involved due to the use of the Rocket Radar. It will be curious how it will work because Pokemon GO wants to keep players at home during this Community Day.
April Community Day Bundle
A special April Community Day Bundle will be available for purchased during this Community Day. This bundle will feature the following items: Elite Charged TM, 30 Ultra Balls, three Super Incubators, and three Incense. The cost for this bundle will be 1,280 PokéCoins.
All of the items in the bundle will allow players to keep playing during the event. After all, the Incense will allow Pokemon to continue to gather around the player at their house during the event. Meanwhile, you will need to have as many Ultra Balls as possible to keep Abra from running away.
Other Special Features
This Community Day will have plenty of special features to ensure that trainers stay at home. Below are some of those features being implemented for this Community Day.
- As mentioned above, Community Day will now run for six hours instead of the regular three.
- The bonus will now be 3× Catch Stardust. This will be the perfect time to collect Stardust and power up your Pokémon for the GO Battle League!
- Instead of Lure Modules, Incense will last for three hours for the duration of the event.
- Buddy Pokémon with a Buddy Level of Great Buddy or higher will bring you helpful items, such as Poké Balls, throughout the event. To take full advantage of this bonus, check out this help center article to learn how to get to Great Buddy with your buddy.
