New information about Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon was revealed today! These reveals included new Pokemon, characters and information!
New Ultra Beasts
Name: UB Adhesive
Type: Poison
This Ultra Beast’s head is filled with venom and it shoots this venom out from the poisonous needle on the top of its head. It is said to be intelligent enough to understand human speech and displays many emotions.
UB Adhesive is the newest Ultra Beast that was revealed today. It looks as if this Pokemon is being used by one of the members of the Ultra Recon Squad.
Name: UB Burst
Type: Fire/Ghost
UB Burst has a head made up of a collection of curious sparks, which it can remove and make explode. It tricks targets into letting their guard down with its funny behavior then, when its opponent is close, it surprises them by blowing up its head without warning.
UB Burst was one of the Ultra Beasts revealed during the Nintendo Direct. This Pokemon is described as the Fireworks Pokemon. It has an attack called Mind Blown which is a Fire type attack. This attack also does recoil damage to UB Burst.
Name: UB Assembly
Type: Rock/Steel
This Ultra Beast is a collection of many life-forms. While it appears to be made up of stones stacked atop one another, each “stone” is in fact a separate life-form. When confronting opponents, the eyes on each of its stones begin to glow bright red.
UB Assembly is the other Ultra Beast shown during the Nintendo Direct. This Pokemon looks as if it has plenty of defense. It potentially can learn Iron Defense and Iron Head.
New Characters: Ultra Recon Squad
The identities of the mysterious figures from the last week’s Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon poster was revealed. These figures were revealed to be part of a group called the Ultra Recon Squad.
Depending on which game you are playing, you will encounter certain members of the group. Those playing Ultra Sun will encounter the younger members of the group: Dulse and Zossie. Meanwhile, if you are playing Ultra Moon then you will be encountering: Soliera and Phyco.
The members of the Ultra Recon Squad are described as a “strange group that have come from a world that lives beyond an Ultra Wormhole”. Based on the trailer, it looks as if the Ultra Recon Squad will play a role in the game that could involve the Aether Foundation. Trainer may seen the story from a different perspective depending on which game they are playing.
Additional Details: Ultra Megalopolis
Players will be able to travel through the Ultra Wormhole to visit different worlds. This will be done by riding either Solgaleo or Lunala. Perhaps these Pokemon will become some sort of Ride Pokemon.
One of the worlds that trailers will be able to visit is Ultra Megalopolis. This location has a tall tower that could play a huge role in the story. It is said that Ultra Megaloplois is a place that has had its light stolen by Necrozma.
Based on the trailer, it looks as if trainers will also visit worlds where they can encounter the other Ultra Beasts. Each world looks to be unique to each Ultra Beast.
