March’s community day has just been announced
The first event in March has just been announced and it is a Community Day that will be featuring Fletchling the Tiny Robin Pokémon. Fletchling was recently added to Pokémon GO along with a select group of Pokémon first discovered in the Kalos region. It came as a surprise that Fletching would be featured in the monthly event, but leave it to Niantic and The Pokémon Company to ditch the patterns and keep us guessing.

Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time.
Events Details
- As expected Fletchling will be appearing more frequently in the wild. Lucky trainers may encounter a shiny one.
- Evolve Fletchinder (the evolved form of Fletchling) during the event, or up to two hours afterward, to get a Talonflame that knows Incinerate.
- Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise.
- A Community Day Box will be available for 1280 PokéCoins featuring 50 Ultra Balls, five Lucky Eggs, a Poffin, and an Eite Fast TM.
- For $1 you’ll be able to access the Fletching Community Day exclusive Special Research story, The Bravest Bird.
- 3x Catch XP
- Incense activated during the event will last for three hours.

This event is a great way to boost your XP as using a Lucky Egg will yield 6x the Catch XP. This means catching a Pokemon one your first throw, using a curve ball and landing an excellent throw will net you 7020 XP. Now if you were to do this once every minute for an hour, you would earn 421,200 XP. Very easy way to level up quickly
