Although I couldn't help but notice - maybe it's the way you draw noses - sometimes the noses you draw for human artwork looks like those of a dog, or animal. Kinda like a snout? O: Or maybe that's just me. xD

Hehehehe. That was actually a silly doodle I did (along with the Riolu) for PSMD when I couldn't decide between Charmander and Riolu. I ended up going with Riolu just for the novelty of it.

Hm, I've never noticed it? I know I do tend to draw big noses, and I draw beasts a lot, so maybe? It's not intentional either way. XD

Ah, thank you... I don't think my Pokemon are completely realistic most of the time, but I try to make them somewhat believable (as well as shamelessly tweaking features that I find ugly or unnecessary).

Thank you! Humans are really fun for me because it's a constant challenge of making the features different and trying new things in terms of expression, facial features, and body types.

These two are the same character, made for the deviantart RP group Pokemon Amie (http://pokemon-amie.deviantart.com), which basically focuses on Pokemon that turn into people. It's got a really neat premise and it's worth checking out; they're open for applications this month. :D The character here is named Kayla Beaumont; she's an astrophysicist grad student who enjoys stargazing, wearing loose clothing, and being one of the very very few of my OCs who wear glasses.

Thank you guys a bunch! Togekiss is probably my favorite Pokemon (I know that if I were a Pokemon I'd totally be a Togekiss) so I wanted to do its line some justice, especially since I've seen a lot of (very dignified) owl-based interpretations that made me love the line as much as I do. Kayla is technically a Togetic (hence her weird little raptor arms) though she probably will evolve into a Togekiss as I get more entrenched in this group. XD

Also, unless someone has a question or something similar, I'm probably just going to reply to comments as I post new art - I love the feedback and I read it all, but this way I get everything does at once. Speaking of feedback, constructive criticism/critique isn't required by any means, but it's appreciated as much as the compliments. <3

Here's some more Kayla I did for a really neat prompt at PMA where you take a quiz in-character and get assigned a color that has a little blurb about "your" personality. Kayla got green, and since I am very Typical, I decided to draw something moody. Kayla is a very smart bird but she has no idea how to get out in the world and make friends.

LOVING the dynamics in some of your new art. Namely, the one with the lightning and the foreground-background characters as Xanthe mentioned. It's CLEAR that you KNOW your ****. <3
But yeah, in general you do awesomely with illustrating scenes and situations! I still remember that one of the tiger swimming underwater you made for WAR. <3 That was freaking amazing.
