Challenge #2
In this current challenge we are being asked to keep our eyes open and all over the forum. If you are the only memeber on the forum please my sure to take the time to check out all the sections for the a "Wild Pokemon" Announcement. Remember this is a team effort.

For the current challenge we are responsible for finding all the basic pokemon up venonat (as of this message) so how do that? We have to break down all the sections of pxr and people have to search through the threads. This is no easy task but together we can do this. So lets atart by each of you claiming a section or boards section you can search once a day. The senior staff can cover the senior staff boards, the sit staff can look through the site staff boards.
So will make a list and you can pick

Something to keep in mind is that the way this is set up, two people could search the same board and find two completely different Pokemon.



Pokemon will appear in different places for different people! This can be linked to your post count, the time of day, which part of the forum you're using, what usergroup(s) you're in, what year you joined the forum and more!

If you post what Pokemon you've found in the Wild Pokemon Claim thread and the codes that came with them, and then PM Sarah the Pokemon, code, and the url of the place you found it in, the Pokemon get added under your avatar, yeah.

Thanks, LK! I read a bit more about it, haha. I'll go with Artist's Easel and Other Chat. :] Do the pokemon appear differently for people? That's what Pokemon Trainer Sarah said, right? So if I were to ask which boards have already been searched, it wouldn't matter because it's different for every user and/or different per day? (Or just overall randomised.)

Challenge #2 was to find a Pokemon and claim it. As long as you got at least one, you were good to go. But, now that Challenge #2 has ended, you can pick one of your Pokemon to evolve and one to make shiny. You can pick the same Pokemon to both evolve and make shiny (like what I did with my Raichu).

You can still search and claim Pokemon to add to your postbit, though. So if anyone wants to go back for whatever they didn't get earlier, the option is open.

They were just in separate threads. Since the claiming is ongoing, it was put in a different thread. So yeah, I can see why Sarah did it that way.

I didnt realize that and as I told her with my limited time on this forum I didnt think that was made clear at all. but the challenge is over. What is the next challenge we need to focus on?

Don't feel bad, I spent a while searching and I didn't find everything either (Fate seems to have nabbed everything, so I kind of use him as a reference point). You still got quite a bit, though!

All you gotta do is add them to the Valor usergroup and they should have access. It also gives them the moltres symbol, which they have, so I'm sure you did it right :)

No worries! :D If you need help with anything, let me know! Shame we can't share insider information about which pokemon are where. ;) I can tell you that you'll find a lot of them quite easily, not even on specific threads. You can also find them in "outside the box" ways, so click on every part of the forum you can see! XD

You can get shiny Pokemon through completing special challenges. The way it works is you basically choose what Pokemon you want to turn into a shiny rather than finding shiny Pokemon outright.

There are two shines in the "wild" other than that only through special events.

Additionally to what Neo said, there's one shiny caterpie and one shiny nidoran♀, but they both only come out once a day in a particular area of the forum, for a limited duration. xD So you pretty much have to be lucky to find one.

You can normally find 3 or 4 pokemon in a section. So start with the Community Board and then work your way down the list. For each section. Make sure to click on each thread for the first four pages of that sections. Since all the pokemon are already out you should be able to find most of them this way.

Yeah but you are going to need a good deal of final stage pokemon if you are going to master the gyms.

Does one get an evolution after every egg hatch? Or just the first? I was thinking just the first, and then the gym battles. But i may be wrong

Its just after the first one. Evolutions are hard to come by.
