Plot
You were told when you were young that kaelus was a word meaning 'Heaven'. Your home, the region of Kaelus, is the stark opposite of that, though.
A very long time ago, mortal Pokemon and the Legendaries lived in harmony. Then the Legendaries began to communicate with Pokemon less and less, and then not at all. This did not bother the Pokemon very much. They created technology and inventions, great cities and marvels.
Until, one day, for reasons unknown the Legendaries returned and began viciously attacking the Pokemon. Some Pokemon attempted to escape Kaelus through the sea or sky. However, Rayquaza created the Bloodcloud Wall, crimson red clouds that tented around the entire region, whipping up fearsome winds whenever someone tried to cross them, and Kyogre lurked in the waters, hungrily devouring all those who tried to escape through the ocean.
The Pokemon trapped in Kaelus were left with no way out. They were decimated as their region quickly became a dystopia. Mystery dungeons multiplied, which simply added to the overwhelming atmosphere of depression.
Years later, there was a glimmer of hope for the Pokemon. Some of them had the ideas of banding together to create Safehavens. A Safehaven allowed any Pokemon to join, so long as they promised to do a job to help the Safehaven run smoothly. Many of the Safehaven Pokemon joined Scavenger Teams, which did all sorts of jobs, like escorting goods from one Safehaven to another, rescuing Pokemon from mystery dungeons, and even defending against rampaging Legendaries.
Over time, five major Safehavens were created, each with a single leader, and one or two betas to assist that leader in running the Safehaven. Located all over Kaelus, they are called the Relic Graveyard Safehaven, Fractured Heavens Safehaven, Last Vestige Safehaven, Persevering Spirit Safehaven, and Cloudview Cliff Safehaven.
However, one day Yuko, leader of the Fractured Heavens Safehaven, sent out a message to all the other Safehavens. The message said this:
"My dear fellow leaders:
I have recently captured a golden opportunity, which cannot be passed up. I invite you, and your top teams, to come to my Safehaven to discuss how we should handle it with me.
Yours truly, Delphox Yuko"
You are now a member of one of those teams. You are either a member of Fractured Heavens Safehaven, or escorting your leader and betas to there.
While your leaders and betas were having their meetings, your team and the other teams were taking time to relax, and get to know each other. When something extremely unexpected happened.
A Legendary somehow managed to break into the Safehaven. And it is very, very different from what you, or any of the other teams, imagined...
Rules
1) All PXR rules apply.
2) Please, try not to swear too much in the RP, and absolutely no swearing in the sign up thread.
3) No Mary Sues or Gary Stus. Give your characters flaws besides everyone else hating them.
4) No power-playing, god-modding, or bunnying. It's not fun.
5) No leet or chat speak, if we can't understand what you're saying we're just going to ignore you.
6) I control all Legendary characters.
7) Pokemon may have a maximum of eight moves.
8) Teams may have 3-4 members, and one pet Feral.
9) You may have as many teams as you can comfortably control.
10) If you want to co-own a team with someone else, or have it all to yourself, that's okay.
11) Try not to let your arguments and feuds affect the RP. Please be polite and respectful out of context, no matter how jerkish your characters are.
12) If you want to drop out, or will be inactive for a time, please notify me if you can.
13) Have fun! ^^
Various Worldbuilding Facts
Pets
Some teams have a pet Feral on their team. Feral Pokemon cannot speak, but can be trained to assist a team with all sorts of things. Some teams use Ferals as a distraction, or to scout ahead in a dungeon. Some team members even ride their pet Ferals, if they're large enough.
It's very difficult to train a Feral, and if a team has a pet which they can command effectively, that usually means they are a very good team overall.
Clothing
Clothing is rather common in Kaelus. All team members are required to wear at least one item of clothing with their Safehaven's color on it.
Nights in Kaelus have been known to be extremely cold, and many teams wear clothes if they go on night missions often. Especially members of Persevering Spirit Safehaven, as they are the northernmost Safehaven.
Last Vestige Safehaven found a way to place Type Gems into clothing, which allow Pokemon to boost the power of attacks of a certain type when wearing that clothing.
Weapons
Many teams use weapons as well as their own moves while battling. Weapons can range from throwing items found in the regular PMD games, to Wands like in PSMD, to seeds. Recently, Last Vestige Safehaven have made spears and swords which can channel moves to boost their power. Those are rare, however.
Mega Evolution
Last Vestige and Fractured Heavens Safehavens recently worked together to create a prototype Mega Looplet. The Looplet can be worn as a collar, bracelet, or anklet. They are extremely rare, and very few Pokemon have them. They must be charged up with Mega Dust. Once enough Mega Dust is collected, an Awakening Emera is automatically formed in the Looplet. Mega Looplets have exactly one spot.
Connect Orbs and Nexuses
Each Safehaven has their own Pokemon Nexus, but each one is referred to as 'Relic Graveyard Nexus', 'Fractured Heavens Nexus', etc. Each member of a Safehaven is given a Connect Orb. Connect Orbs mainly act as a way for teams to keep in touch with their leaders, for leaders to send team missions which they want a particular team to complete, and for leaders to send general announcements to the entire Safehaven. Connect Orbs contain other useful information as well, such as a map of the Safehaven the member belongs to, a fairly basic Dungeon Map, the stats of the owner of the Connect Orb, and a list of items the team is currently in possession of. Members can also communicate with other members of their Safehaven besides leaders and betas.
Safehaven Leaders and Betas have more advanced Connect Orbs which allow them stats on all teams, and the ability to communicate with leaders and betas of other teams.

Reserve, this definitely sounds awesome.
Would a bow and arrows be a legal weapon, though? I figured that's along the same lines as bladed weapons, but I figured I'd ask.

Bow and arrow are viable weapons. The arrows would probably be more fragile than a sword, though, so they may be a bit weaker.

Safehaven: Fractured Heavens
Designated Leader: Jyde & Heckle
Registered Members: 4 / Pet(s): 1
One of the more highly-regarded research teams of their Safehaven based on their proficiency and flattering track record. They see to their jobs promptly but have recently been veering dangerously off-task to perform freelance mystery dungeon rescues.
http://www.pokestadium.com/sprites/black-white/animated/girafarig.gif http://www.pokestadium.com/sprites/black-white/animated/back/girafarig.gif
Name: Noon
Age: Approx. 3 years; adolescent
Gender: Female
Species/Classification: Early Bird Girafarig, Long Neck. Girafarig classified as "Early Birds" are distinctive by an increased reaction time and awareness in-exchange for elegance and a powerful psychic connection.
Appearance: A very haggard and emaciated-seeming creature whose unflattering look is only exacerbated by her extraordinary height of 5' 11". Sports a dark red bow tie at the base of her elongated neck for identification purposes. Cold weather prompts a shawl of complementing color to be drawn over her horns and shoulders. She unwisely weighs down her gaunt figure with the superfluous supplies of her teammates. She cooperates well with her tail—an unnerving organism in itself that takes on the appearance of a hind-dwelling parasite—and has even given it a little moniker of its own: Annie. Noon and Annie have been observed sharing conversations and even bickering with one another not unlike close siblings. Cloudhaven therapy has been offered to the Girafarig but bluntly refused.
Personality: Predictably, concerning secondary typing, a sharp and shrewd analytic, though she does not present any of the type's associated sagacity. Of course, she has convinced her impressionable team members, likely through large words with many syllables, that she does consistently know what she is doing. Noon is both meticulous and impatient, always expecting immediate results and unreasonable expectations from others and herself, presumably. On occasion, she has exemplified a sardonic sense of humor and brusque, "tell-as-is" behavior, but due to an unfortunate lack of assertiveness, she rarely voices harsh thoughts or perspectives, likely out of fear for causing contention within her already continuously-tiffing group. Noon's insistence to be the tranquil "voice of reason", though unrealistic, is admittedly respectable considering who she is partnered with on a regular basis, and her respect for authority is also a positive side of her.
Backstory: Born and raised by a nomadic herd of her kind, though she grew increasingly detached from its members, either, theoretically, due to her abnormal and intimidating stance or because she exhibited signs of obsessiveness and self-loathing long before joining a team. The alphas of Noon's herd discovered the sporadic appearance of a mystery dungeon on their territory, thus forcing the herd into migration. Constant travel saw many members growing estranged from one another, including Noon who came across civilization alone. Eventually, she forced the Double-Take! alliance alongside the individualist Silvia and the obdurate outcast, Jyde & Heckle.
Moveset: Thunder Wave — Agility — Power Swap — Guard Swap — Calm Mind — Baton Pass — Stomp — Crunch
Role: Essentially a secretary, the team's quintessential organizer and overseer. In combat situations, majorly plays a supporting role, bolstering teammates' offensive and defensive capabilities while also possessing some practical, up-close techniques in case she is confronted (which she blatantly will be if enemies catch onto her frailty).
http://www.pokestadium.com/sprites/black-white/animated/zweilous.gif http://www.pokestadium.com/sprites/black-white/animated/back/zweilous.gif
Name(s): Jyde & Heckle
Age: Approx. 229 years; elderly
Gender: Another subject of disputation.
Species/Classification: Zweilous, Hostile.
Appearance: Chipped claws and teeth, manifold scars and an overall withered look are highly evident of antiquity. They dispense a sour smell. Faded, painted patterns of the past stain their scales. On all four limbs they don a dark red ringlet. Their bedraggled, jet-black mane grows in heavily, likely as an environmental adjustment.
Personality: Both are equally cantankerous with acerbic tongues. Presumably sagacious, otherwise their position as leaders are unwarranted. Hypocritically, they refuse to entertain puerile arguments but spend most of their time bickering incessantly with one another. If not ruthlessly insulting each other back and forth, they are grumbling on about a lack of "real food". Likely senile, only their teammates can afford to be anywhere near them. Both Jyde and Heckle posses subtle differences in personality, with Heckle being the more fickle of the two and Jyde being the more belligerent. Noon has been quoted defending them as possessing a great deal of shared wisdom, worldliness, eloquence and, combined, the presence of an intimidating leader. This claim has yet to be backed with strong, supporting evidence.
Backstory: The two irritants used to share a consciousness as a Deino shaman from the cavernous area of Kaelus who once preached devotion to the Legendaries decades in the past. Deep beneath the ground, they clung, naively loyal, to the idea of benevolent overlords even when their followers returned trembling to their adobe, shaken, bewildered, and betrayed. Eventually, the shaman sat abandoned in earthy darkness, as no one chose to suffer their empty wisdom, and they stumbled forth to greet the surface, only to see the sky smeared a bloody red, an epiphany for them. With an uncompromising, bitter detestation towards the bedeviling legends, they took to wandering the world as the two-headed excrescence they remain to this day, eventually hunkering down at a safehaven by the base of the Emerald Mountains and refusing to leave.
Moveset: Work Up — Double Team — Hyper Voice — Ice Fang — Incinerate — Dragon Pulse — Earth Power — Outrage
Role: Team leader(s), for whatever reason. Together, they create a formidable powerhouse as Heckle's head blasts foes to obliteration from afar. Unprepared opponents who manage to avoid the long-range onslaught are regularly torn apart by the bellicose Jyde. The two, at times, could vaguely be considered strategists, though their inability to compromise with another makes this title often incompatible.
http://www.pokestadium.com/sprites/black-white/animated/aipom-female.gifhttp://www.pokestadium.com/sprites/black-white/animated/back/aipom.gif
Name: Silvia
Age: Approx. 8 months; adolescent
Gender: Female
Species/Classification: Pick Up Aipom, Long Tail. Pick Ups are often scrupulous concerning small details and more outgoing—less surreptitious—than Aipom with Run Away.
Appearance: Spiky fur grows in long all about her body, adding an unkempt and even disconcerting element to her appearance on top of her fleshy tail extension and which provides additional protection from wintry weather. Dons a neckerchief and showy dark red bow at the base of her prehensile tail.
Personality: Clearly an energetic youth, though more callous and loquacious than charismatic. She lacks tact and, occasionally, empathy, though is the most compassionate of her team. Her naivete is a potential... ((Alternatively, she possesses endless wit and enthusiasm. Her attitude can be tiresome or interpreted as overly cheeky and facetious at times. She is greatly intelligent in the typical sense as well as very inviting towards others. Acts uncomfortably friendly with acquaintances.))
Backstory: (( Lived in a sheltered community perched upon the Emerald Mountains. Her perceptions of safehaven life below did not disconcert her, unlike her peers who preferred an idyllic, isolated existence free from work. Latched onto Noon, another newcomer, as the two eventually formed an alliance with Jyde and Heckle. She is responsible for the team name. ))
Moveset: Fake Out — Tickle — Sand-Attack — Acrobatics — Fling — Brick Break — Foul Play — Last Resort
Role: (( ... ))
Weapon: A wand of some variant.
http://www.pokestadium.com/sprites/black-white/animated/floatzel.gifhttp://www.pokestadium.com/sprites/black-white/animated/back/floatzel.gif
Name: Milos
Age: Approx. 5 years; adult
Gender: Male
Species/Classification: Floatzel, Sea Weasel.
Appearance: Wears a standard dark red bandanna round his neck. Has an extremely unflattering burn splayed across his stomach, repugnant in its poorly-bandaged and ever-inflamed state.
Personality: (( His unrestrained arrogance is nowadays greatly inhibited by his eternal injury. Melodramatically, he spends most days splayed out, moaning and crying out in agony. He is reduced to a state of inertia, driven by self-pity, that can only be reversed through direct, rigid orders. Though his past cocky, coquettish, ostentatious nature can be coaxed out occasionally. ))
Backstory: (( Once an extravagant underground battler who undertook relentless challenges all about Kaelus, he went past his limit when he took on a powerful Houndoom. He received a critical burn that forever incapacitated him from ever indulging in his reckless lifestyle again. Found sulking and safehaven-less, Silvia convinced her fellow teammates to register him, simultaneously preserving his life and hopefully giving him something productive to do. ))
Moveset: Aqua Jet — Razor Wind — Ice Beam — Whirlpool — Slash — Aqua Tail — Double Hit — Hydro Pump
Role: When really motivated, acts as a scout for the team ...
Weapon: Combat knife
http://www.pokestadium.com/sprites/black-white/animated/shiny/doduo-female.gifhttp://www.pokestadium.com/sprites/black-white/animated/shiny/back/doduo-female.gif
Name: Kiki
Gender: Female
Species/Classification: Run Away Doduo, Twin Bird. As is near-identical with all "Run-Aways" from various species, they are very alert, very hesitant, and considerably cowardly.
Appearance & Physical Characteristics: 4' 07", Shiny; the condition gives it down-like feathers a phlegm-colored quality, likeness not helped by the additional sparkling sheen. Sickly-seeming in itself with ogling black eyes that make it appear as if both of its little heads are staring, endlessly, at nothing. A dark red bandanna, not unlike Milos', is knotted around her right ankle. Possesses no wings though can apparently "fly".
Moveset: Quick Attack — Pluck — Double Hit — Acupressure — Substitute — Agility — Thrash — Fly — Endeavor
Role: Incongruous access to flight, as well as incomparable running ability, make it the preferred "getaway" Pokemon. It does have limitations in how much weight it can support, however, which does impose restrictions.

Team Hijinx is in. I think I'm going to really like these guys...
A few things, though. The betrayal of the Legendaries and Bloodcloud Wall happened in the space of at most a few months apart, and both happened long enough ago that very few Pokemon remember what the sky actually looks like. Villages are rare but not unheard of, but cities are nonexistent.
The forms are all great, but just thought I'd say that.
Heh, thank you.
I'll definitely make some later edits to Jyde & Heckle in-particular to better accommodate that info. I will say that none of my four were meant to have come any cities. I'll probably expand on where Jyde & Heckle are from.
I also have a question regarding wands. Would they function exactly like those from Super Mystery Dungeon with there being a wand for confusing, a wand for revealing staircases, etc.? I intended for Silvia's to be just a general, all-purpose wand with varying spells that can accomplish most of those sort of things.
LKWayvern

Wands are similar to the wands from PSMD. However there are a few differences.
Most wands have a single function, and a number of 'charges'. If a wand runs out of charges, you can use it anymore(unless you've been using it to whack Pokemon upside the head or something), but there's a shop in most Safehavens where you can 'recharge' the wand.
There's nothing stopping a Pokemon from carrying multiple wands. Although if you want to save space in your inventory, a wand can have different effects with the same overall amount of charges.
For example, a Confuse Wand may have have about 30 charges. A wand that both Confuses and Stuns may have 15 Confuse charges and 15 Stun charges, or any variation thereof so long as the maximum amount of charges is 30.

I like Gef's format. Mimicking for good measure.
Team Name: Team Lockdown
Safehaven: Relic Graveyard Safehaven
Designated Leader: Magnum
Team base: Four Members / One pet
Team Lockdown is one of Relic Graveyard's most renown tactical strike teams and keeps a firm grip on the Fullmoon Highway. Nicknamed "The Slayers of Gods," if any team within Crownless's unit were to track and take down a legendary Pokémon, the probability of it being Team Lockdown is considerably good considering the team prides itself on a brutal, deadly, precise, and by the book military-like precision that uses their own codes and playbooks for assignments and missions. Team Lockdown members can be recognized by their dark-gray RGS bandanas and "Flaming X" tattoos.
Name: Magnum
Age: 31
Gender: Male
Species: Typhlosion
Appearance: Magnum bears the appearance of a true warrior that's no stranger to combat. Magnum stands at six feet tall and weighs 190 pounds, and bears scars and marks from many years of serving as both a guard, sentry, and commando. He wears his bandana around his head, has his Flaming X tattoo on the back of the head, and wears a utility belt with his tools and weapons. He has a knife, but rarely uses it. He also wears gray leather clothing with holes to compensate for the areas in his back where flames spurt out.
Personality: Magnum, trained in combat, is brutal and doesn't take stock in those that use excuses, stupid humor, or spread gossip. He also keeps a tight grip on the leadership of his unit and isn't afraid to question and challenge authority if he feels compelled to. In combat, Magnum can be a beast and cares little about collateral damage. In tight spots, he can be quick to improvise and isn't afraid to go to extreme lengths to survive and carry out mission objectives.
Backstory: Magnum, born from his mother, Swill, and his father, Dash, comes from a clan of Typhlosions, the Sykan, that have always hated the legendary Pokémon. This long line of Pokémon still refuse to acknowledge their power and authority, and have vowed to eliminate them on sight. Magnum was raised with this credo since childbirth and has allowed it to be the driving force of his actions and team operations. Throughout time, he has proven his leadership abilities in very critical times before Crownless, earning him the right to form his own team within the Safehaven.
Moveset: Eruption, Smokescreen, Flamethrower, Earthquake, Brick Break, Rock Slide, Double Team, Giga Impact
Other: Ability: Blaze. Magnum's role in the team is team leader and seasoned commando. Despite his power, strength, and charisma, Magnum has the tendency to come on too strongly and too seriously. This intimidation factor is good against the enemy, but sometimes causes his allies to question his motives and ideals.
Name: Apex
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Species: Emolga
Appearance: Standing 1'06" and weighing twelve pounds, Apex doesn't look too different from most other Emolga save for the dark gray Team Lockdown bandana around his forehead and the Flaming X emblem he has tattooed in his right side. He also wear a dark gray cloak to show his affiliation to RGS and to help better conceal himself. Meanwhile, he also wears a black leather braided necklace he made himself. He doesn't smile as much and as often as other Emolga, and he wears the face of one that has seen some pretty brutal combat in his time. Meanwhile, he has stellar eyesight and perception, able to identify details and scout ahead better than anyone else on the team. Not to mention his soundless ability to fly makes it easy for him to secure vital and tactical vantage points that give Team Lockdown a significant edge in engagement preparation.
Personality: Apex is definitely not like other traditional Emolga. Despite the cute appearance, Apex is definitely ingrained in the Team Lockdown culture and procedure and doesn't mess around or take his role too lightly. Apex is tasked in scouting, reconnaissance, code-breaking, intel, and sometimes stealth and sabotage if the need calls for it. He has the habit of making his own personal opinions and remarks on situations and engagements, but not to the extent of it bothering Magnum or his other team members.
Backstory: Apex was born to his mother, Tanika the Emolga, and his father, Syrokan the Pachirisu. As a child, Apex was exposed to the brutality of life early on and his mother and father definitely didn't let him live a sheltered lifestyle. He was also well-educated in the history of the Kaelus and the betrayal of the legendaries. It was very uncommon for any Emolga to enter combat roles, but Apex was able to find his calling as a recon specialist for Magnum and Team Lockdown. Very few Pokémon are more qualified for his kind of role and with his level of experience.
Moveset: Thunderbolt, Aerial Ace, Tailwind, Wild Charge, Thunder Wave, Flash, Iron Tail, Signal Beam
Other: Ability: Motor Drive. Apex serves Team Lockdown as a surveillance, reconnaissance, and intelligence specialist. While a strong and very perceptive recon specialist, Apex isn't too seasoned when it comes to actual combat and usually tries to avoid getting spotted in the first place. While he can fight, his small size makes him fragile and while nimble, a blow that successfully lands on him would be very painful.
Name: Zilch
Age: 29
Gender: Female
Species: Zoroark
Appearance: Zilch keeps a very wild and "take me as I am or screw you" approach to her appearance. Her fur is often unkempt and she doesn't mind getting her claws and fur dirty if she accomplishes her goals in the process. She bears a few scars from this kind of reckless behavior. Meanwhile, she proudly wears her dark gray bandana around her head and has the Flaming X tattooed on her back, which is difficult to see unless up close. She also wear a dark gray cloak very akin to the Grim Reaper in design along with two bracers made of bone around her wrists with notches for each kill she makes. She also wears a belt for her twin scimitars.
Personality: Zilch is cunning, sly, wild, and incredibly brutal. She is definitely one of the most skilled and guile assassins within all of Relic Graveyard Safehaven and has absolutely no qualms about proving her worth. Her approach is often described as brutal and chaotic, but extremely effective. She also tends to brag and gloat about her skills when she is successful. It grates Magnum's nerves a bit, but never to the point of disciplinary action.
Backstory: Zilch's parents, Skaz her mother and Vash her father, were both killed by bandits when she was very young. Her foster parents, a pair of Ursaring, were almost never able to keep control of Zilch, and after many years of her ignoring their demands, she was sent off for combative training, which she enjoyed to almost disturbing degrees. Now, she is itching for the opportunity to kill a legendary and intends to make trophies and jewelry out of its bones.
Moveset: Feint Attack, Night Slash, Toxic, Shadow Ball, Grass Knot, Dark Pulse, Sucker Punch, Detect
Other: Ability: Illusion. Zilch is Team Lockdown's assassin and stealth specialist as she is able to sneak and trick her way into places where most other Pokémon would be revealed. Meanwhile, her Illusion ability often allows her to take the guise of a completely different Pokémon. Her faults are her overconfidence and impulsive behavior. She also isn't very much of a team player and hates it when others "steal her glory." She also HATES rescue and escort missions and she will not shut up about them if she is expected to undertake them.
Name: Sledge
Age: 38
Gender: Male
Species: Aggron
Appearance: Standing at seven feet tall and weighing 1600 pounds, Sledge has been in plenty of brutal and savage battles, both to the death and simply for sport. As a result, he has plenty of scars, scratches, and marks, but he considers them to be marks of "weakness leaving the body." Unlike the others, Sledge wears his Team Lockdown bandana around his right arm as he can't wear it around his large irregularly-shaped head. Meanwhile, he has the Flaming X tattoo both painted and scratched into the back of his steel-like head. He also wears a dark gray harness, as he doesn't need all that much clothing for warmth due to his natural armor.
Personality: Sledge, despite his combative roots, possesses a very keen sense of right and wrong along with ethics and wisdom. He keeps a protective and selfless approach to his actions, only fighting as a means to a better tomorrow, or as a means of training and growth. As a result, he doesn't enjoy senseless violence or combat, and sometimes gets into disagreements with Zilch as a result.
Backstory: Sledge was born as an Aron to two loving and caring parents, Nax his father, and Juna, his mother, both Aggron. He also lived with his brother, Cex. Both of them were taught the ways of responsibility and selflessness. As a result, Sledge took it upon himself to protect others from harm, especially those that could not bear the burden of being struck by enemy attacks. As there were few positions available for his kind outside of guardian or sentry roles, Sledge enlisted himself into the Relic Graveyard Safehaven and was assigned to Magnum's team as a heavy combat specialist.
Moveset: Heavy Slam, Rock Slide, Double Edge, Dragon Claw, Iron Defense, Earthquake, Fire Blast, Dynamic Punch
Other: Ability: Heavy Metal. Zilch is Team Lockdown's heavy specialist and is often set as the role of "tank" when it comes to combat. His raw strength and endurance makes him a very intimidating and powerful Pokémon in combat, but as expected, his speed and dexterity are very low and unreliable. His large size and slow speed make dodging and retreat almost impossible.
(Pet Form:)
Name: Vin
Gender: Female
Species: Mightyena
Appearance: Vin is about 3'09", not too different from most other Mightyena, although she still bears scars both from combat on the job and before she was previously adopted by Team Lockdown. She wears a dark gray collar and still bears the Flaming X tattoo mark just under her chin.
Moveset: Odor Sleuth, Swagger, Thief, Crunch, Roar, Toxic, Astonish, Snatch, Mud Slap
Other: Ability: Intimidate. Vin is mainly a support feral Pokémon that often targets enemy Pokémon with abnormalities and other ailments that reduce their combat effectiveness. Meanwhile, she is effective in tracking scents and has exceptional hearing ability. So while Apex is the team's "eyes in the sky," Vin covers sounds and smells. She understands some vocal commands, but she cannot fully speak to the other team members and behaves in a similar fashion that a dog would to humans.

Team Lockdown is in.
I have a list of Legendaries killed by RGS. I would not be surprised if Lockdown had managed to take out most of them.
Blehh, I'll just deal with the wand business when we get there. Or maybe I'll just give Silvia a grenade launcher, that'd work just as well right
Glad to see the first two teams are from the havens with a tight relationship. Because getting my characters in a tangle with those guys in not on either of our's priority lists...
Anyway, regarding Jyde & Heckle, I really just aged him up to make him more of an explicitly ancient dragon.
Could we get that list of slain legendaries now or are you intentionally saving it for later?

The Safehavens know for certain that Regice, Regirock, Registeel, Cresselia, and Landorus are dead. Certain other Legendaries have not been seen in a very long time.
Lugia, the Kanto birds, Genesect, Cobalion and Keldeo, and Kyogre are determined to make their presence very known. Groudon, Jirachi, Diancie, and Meloetta sometimes pop up. A dark figure with smoky white hair, and a pink cat with piercing blue and red eyes are occasionally seen, and assumed to be legendaries.
If other Legendaries are alive, and if they are alive where they are, is currently unknown.
yes, grenade launchers, there is no way this can go wrong!
Haha!
But all the Regis dead? Not a good sign...

Assuming I can even be bothered, I'm going to do something...Different here. The implications above do make it out that there are foreign lands beyond Kaelus, so I'm going to take that ball and roll with it.
I'll admit, backstories will be sparse this time. One's basically got no real past, while the other two are amnesiacs.
Team Name: ??? (unnamed)
Safehaven: Cloudview Cliff (well they're the ones that they're closest to, anyways...)
Designated Leader: ??? (none thus far)
Very few leave Kaelus to the great blue Beyond. Fewer still enter it from outside, once they see the menacing red clouds guarding the region. Almost none have survived either way. It would take intense stealth training, sheer power, or incredible luck to cross the Bloodcloud Wall or the Oceans that Kyogre and the watery Legends so zealously guard. There are exceptions to this rule, but very few are recorded, and none recorded well, as if they are explicitly trying to keep hidden. None have known names; very few have their species and gender confirmed by any Safehaven; the only consistent facts are that none speak the native language of Kaelus, and none have aligned themselves with a Safehaven or any other form of civilization, not even a bandit camp. No set patterns exist amongst those rare few; they are the mysterious protectors, the strange watchers, and the most menacing of villains beyond the Legends all at once. Rumors are as myraid as grains of sand. Some have been seen eating the bones of powerful legends; some ARE legends in a mortal disguise; some are not even alive, spirits from another realm given form to haunt the lands; some work hand-in-hand with legends as their personal assassins; and some are beings beyond the scope of even the Legends, passing quiet judgement upon Kaelus and the Legends in kind. These rumors and more have been exchanged amongst the Savehavens, with no evidence whatsoever backing anything up. All that is known is that they speak an unknown language and they are not to be taken lightly in a fight-not everything is known to the Savehavens but language is a very rare constant, and things that get by the cage of the Bloodcloud Wall are either very powerful, very stealthy, or very lucky, and in all cases dangerous.
These guys are an unfortunate group of Foreginers, but for the most part, they are none of those things. At the very least, they are very few of those things. Some were sent as basically a form of execution, while others do not even know why they were on that boat; Yet, these impossibly lucky crooks, criminals and such somehow survived an otherwise-fatal occurrence in reaching the outer limits and thus having Kyogre devour their ship near-whole. They're not an official Scavenger Team...Yet, but they're set to break the 'mysterious stranger' trend. To a degree.
Name: Hyperion
Age: 36
Gender: MASCULINE
Species: Pidgeot
Appearance: Three inches shorter than the standard of his kin and certainly much thinner, his dishevaled, ragged looks tell a tale of poverty all to itself. His only clothing is a ragged buff around his neck, though why would he wear much else given it would interfere with flying?
Personality: He's a thief. He's the least likely of the three to give you anything-he's highly materialistic and follows the saying "The thief thinks everyone else is a thief" to a tee, very unwilling to give to people he precieves as cheating him out of what little he has. He is an absolute hoarder, making sure absolutely everything has its value and nothing is wasted if he can help it. He's not mindlessly attracted to the most obvious treasures, however; his mind is pragmatic, seeking food and currency before more unique, unknown items, and his preferred modus operandi is to accure everything through the path of least resistance FIRST, then escalate up in force if he must or find his mark elseware.
He is charismatic, to a degree: He talks in simple language and in simple terms, and only loosely understands higher class and may have to ask what some more extravagant words mean. However, he knows how to make simple words stretch an incredible distance, playing up his poorness and his lack of education as a charm. He did get a Ponzi scheme going for good reason; he can sound seriously trustworthy if he has to.
He is mildly claustrophobic. He dislikes enclosed spaces or places where he cannot fly too high. The Bloodcloud wall is massively annoying to him.
Backstory: Of the three, he's the only one to concretely recall his past, with no impediments of amnesia or the like getting in the way. It's mildly dull, however. He wasn't an exceptional individual, and while he does recall his past, it's a bit of a blur; how he picked up on his skills is all kind of hazy.
Living in a rural village since a young chick, he had no parents he knew of and thus named himself. For anyone expecting a riveting tale, however, he doesn't have much aside from the fact he was a big conman. His past was roughly "beg/steal/con people into giving him food, being chased, sleeping somewhere rather dingy," until he came up with the Ponzi scheme of the century. Convincing everyone that he could pay back three-halves of what they spent on his 'project,' he managed to carefully convince all of the village of his authenticity. That ended, however, when a rather affluent buisnessmon (who was very good at breaking schemes like this) came and figured out the con-and subsequently alerted authorities. By this point, he made tens of thousands of Poke, no mean feat for a low-level crook.
The ensuring attempt at escape and chase was perhaps the worst part of it all. He flew over the ocean and dropped it into what was revealed to be a Mystery dungeon. For all due intents and purposes it was gone forever. Enraged, and realizing the economic damage for the poor village was severe, they opted to put him on the jailboat sent here, a one way ticket to what he only barely cognized as his doom.
He was nothing more than a thief, though perhaps a more cunning one than usual. Perhaps this past will serve him well? Perhaps, better yet, he will learn new skills and become something more? Let's hope so.
Moveset: Quick Attack, Hurricane, Sand Attack, Double Team, Agility, Heat Wave, Ominous Wind, Thief. Everyone who expected the last one, raise your hand. Thank you, everyone.
Other: Ability is Tangled Feet. He's not really the leader just yet, but don't expect him to lead from the front as his forte is making sure things keep away from him and don't clip him; He can put some surprising levels of firepower out there if the need requires it, but he was never a real fighter, resorting to fleeing as fast as he can, using illusory copies, creating sand-screens to block out his view, and above all else avoiding conflict. Thief is just for desperate measures of close-quarters thievery he usually isn't keen on applying. As for his actual offensive: quick attack is only for more speed to get away from a situation, but Ominous Wind, Heat Wave and ESPECIALLY Hurricane are excellent deterrents and certainly make him seem far more powerful than he really is. A fragile speedster at his finest. Combat isn't his best forte, however: Aside from the expected scouting skill of a Pidgeot due to their natural internal compass and ability to fly for extended periods, Hyperion is also capable of MacGyvering up basically anything you need, making the useless useful and finding the best things he can. This includes food: He can cook, and perhaps not to gourmet standards, but definitely enough that whatever your eating can be safe.
Just never give him too much sugar. He really like sweet foods. Even sickeningly sweet foods.
Name: Pheobe
Age: 17.
Gender: FEMININE
Species: Braxien
Appearance: Shiny in coloration, but otherwise pretty much the standard of her species. Her clothing is the most extensive of the lot, consisting of an actual skirt to go with her shirt, as well as a golden neckalce and an actual holster for her (other) wand.
Personality: Serious, stern and direct, Pheobe tries to command more respect than she has. She isn't above being a girl when spectacuarly adorable things come around, but usually she is composed and reasonably serious in a calm situation...When things don't involve combat.
Sadly, she's never really ventured into a fight in her memory or otherwise and you can tell. She's not USELESS but she is unadjusted to fighting in any sense. She can do moves and attacks, yes, but she is ultimately inexperienced and rather ill-equipped to fight. Despite this, her raw power is staggering, ergo making her feel like she can't leave either as she'd be too much of an asset to her allies to lose. In other words, the mask of seriousness kind of breaks. She's just a teenager who's not ready for this level of responsibilty, but she has absolutely no choice and no other skills of value, and no other real allies.
Backstory: She kind of forgot a few details. She thinks she knew her parents, there were kidnappers involved in how she got on the ship, her skin is rather tender so she wasn't getting into scrapes like Hyperion and Oceanus...It's all blurry. She does concretely remember that Kaelus is a death world, and that her captain (unaware of this fact) was assuring her they'd take her back to...Wherever she came from. Beyond that, no clues. It's coming back slowly.
She has bad vibes regarding Oceanus but cannot pin them, and isn't about to stray far from the only real muscle the survivors have.
Moveset: Skill Swap, Snatch, Fire Pledge, Recycle, Shock Wave, Psybeam, Hypnosis, Will-O-Wisp.
Other: Ability is Magician. She's pre-emptively telepathic (though not a Psychic type yet), which is really the only way any of these guys can communicate with any of you, as telepathy auto-translates for you, thank goodness. She also prefers fighting from the back, though she's genuinely powerful, she just prefers a support role...Unless she gets boosts through Snatch, anyways. She is the youngest and thus the most useless at close-quarters combat. She does, however, hold a Wand and Dagger and is the only one to use artificial weapons of the three. The Dagger is plain steel and of plain craft, but the wand is awfully decorative.
Name: Oceanus
Age: Way to forget that, Oceanus. Your powers of Amnesia grace us all. He THINKS he's in his 20s.
Gender: MASCULINE. Thank goodness for anatomy.
Species: Samurott
Appearance: A Machamp would be impressed at this body. Weighing in at 288.9 Pounds and moving at a height of 5'3 when on all fours (and over double that when upright, as there's got to be some way he could swing those seamitars), bulging with muscle and covered in scars from head to toe, and with his only clothing thus far being a raggedy shirt and broken shackles, you could get the impression that he was someone you shouldn't be crossing. His stares are absolutely intense. He doesn't otherwise deviate from the standard Samurott.
Personality: All confusion at his past aside, which is understandable given his newfound amnesiac status, his state of mind has left him seeking answers from anything, about himself and his situation. He asks questions of any sort and isn't afraid to be discorteous in the process if it means getting answers. In fact, he's not too intimidated by being discourteous, period. His manners are lacking in most qualities, with only a mild sense of thankfulness.
This is all when he is not near-losing his mind from combat. IN-combat, a facet his two teammates are thus far unaware about, he isn't a conscious mon. He sees targets and he seeks blood with a violent mind and absolutely no remorse. He will basically become the Terminator in every sense-an implacable object of destruction bent on making sure that you do not survive your fatal mistake, barring intervention. He roars indiscriminately and without real reason other than to roar, and such manners indicative of a pure-blooded berserker.
It's pretty obvious WHY he was on the ship mostly consisting of criminals, at least.
Backstory: IF he had remembered he'd be happy to tell you exactly what's up. But he can't. He's blanked. It's lucky he remembers his own language. He doesn't recall either of his two copatriots nor anything, and his name he just made up on the spot.
He's not entirely sure but he may have scarred Kyogre in the eye, and judging from the broken shackles he was definitely locked up tighter than the other two. That's about it.
Moveset: Shell Smash (its Tutored), Hydro Cannon, Megahorn, Razor Shell, Facade, Blizzard, Dragon Tail, Aqua Jet
Other: Ability is Torrent. Oceanus'es style of fighting...Hasn't been tested yet, as far as he knows, but in case the moveset hasn't clued you in, his style of fighting can be summarized as a rampage. Not always a close-quarters kind of thing, and certainly he pumps himself up beforehand, but once he gets going...It would be wise to get out of his way. HE'S the heavy of the squad, at all ranges, surprisingly fast with Aqua Jet and utterly relentless, and that's not speaking of what happens when Torrent kicks in. Basically, there is no period wherein he's less dangerous, just closer to not being conscious, and he is sincerely a threat to everything in perhaps every way. He isn't a tactical fighter, sadly, and he is usually lost in adrenaline, to the point wherein stopping him might become hard.
He prefers his natural weapons (though in a Samurott's case this is rather justified) and is unlikely to pick up permanent weapons.
Other, overall: They arrived roughly 15 minutes prior to the start of the RP on the wooden leftovers of their wreck of a ship, and have all regained consciousness, gotten over the meet and greet, and have decided to travel together. They'll coincidentally intercept their newest allies in a sticky jam of their own rather than just walk to the Fractured Heaven Safehaven without formal induction and such, in case you were wondering. Ergo, no designated leader and no team name, as they're not a team and they don't have a specific leader. There may be a 4th member introduced when that occurs.
Also, none of them speak the language of Kaelus. They can understand each other perfectly but only through Pheobe's Telepathy can anyone of them understand the rest of you or a vast majority of NPCs. The other Foreginers are rare and I won't say the country they came from is the same as the other Foreginers either.
Hopefully this isn't gonna get shot down.

Hmmmm...
To start, you are right about there being other countries beyond Kaelus, and the Bloodcloud Wall. They are completely unaware of what is going on inside Kaelus, but they assume that it must be extremely bad. Speculations about what exactly is going on vary widely, all that is known is that the Legendaries are definitely involved, after being absent from the entire world for stars know how long.
Kaelus and the rest of the world are around the same level, technology wise. However, the rest of the world was focusing mainly on technology to make life more comfortable, while Kaelus focused more on ways to survive, or weaponry against Legendaries.
I hadn't considered Pokemon sending their criminals to Kaelus as a sort of jail or something, but now that I think about it, I actually kind of like that idea. It would be very, very hard to get past both either the Bloodcloud Wall or Kyogre, but I think the Bloodcloud Wall would be slightly more receptive to letting people in than out. Kyogre really wouldn't care either way, they'd attack anyone.
I'm a bit iffy on the 'arrived 15 minutes before the RP's start' thing. I could try to think of some events to get the foreigners to the other teams, if you wanted. But maybe instead, the Cloudview Cliffs group was traveling along, met up with them, and decided to allow them to tag along with them to FHS? CCS would probably do that, they'd be the 'friendliest' Safehaven, I think.
At any rate, while this team is rather unconventional, I like them and they are quite interesting. I think I'll accept them. ^^
I think once Alphys posts their team, I'll start the RP. ^^

@LKWyvern: That was my thoughts exactly on the introduction: CC's leader was running late to the meeting, bandits catch wind of the thing and plant an ambush, it works and they CC Leader is basically held hostage caught in an ambush, the three stooges prisoners stumble upon the scene, peeve off the bandits, and when Oceanus inevitably goes Doomguy on their hindquarters (and the other two kind of help I guess) and thus gets CC out of the jam, and after a method of communication has been established, all will be relatively well.

Team Name: Team Camelot
Safehaven: Persevering Spirits Safehaven
Designated Leader: Arthur
Team Base: 4 Members and 1 Pet
A particularly well known team within its safehaven, Team Camelot mainly handles escorting and rescue missions. Never since its formation has Team Camelot handled a mission that would require the killing of another Pokemon, as it goes against their code of honor. Recently they have come under scrutiny due to their abandoning a goods import, when a rockslide hit in the mountains, in favor of saving the lives of all the pokemon in the caravan and surrounding areas, due to the fact that all the goods in the import were essential survival tools.
Name: Arthur
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Species: Gallade
Appearance: Arthur stands at about 5’7 and weighs in at 125 pounds. Most of his muscular build is based in his upper body, making it a bit more difficult for him to run than his other team members. His right eye is a bright gold while it his left eye is gray. His left eye also has a long scar running through it, a remnant from a long ago attack rendering him blind in that eye. To compensate, Arthur uses his psychic abilities to sense his surroundings. His elbow swords extend to about a foot in length and he has scars all along them from all his use of them. Arthur wears a long white-blue cap with his signature golden A along with a heavy blue jacket and gloves usually. If the weather is particularly cold, it is not unusual to see him entirely covered up in the same jacket-like material.
Personality: Arthur is a kind man, having been raised by a particularly abusive foster father. He places the lives and wellbeings of all others before his own, even the ferals. It is Arthur’s code of honor that prevents him from performing actions that many others would do in a heartbeat for a reward. It is not an unknown fact, however, that beneath his kind exterior, Arthur is filled with great amounts of anger and betrayal. While it is uncommon, Arthur can lose his temper if questioned enough. Where these inner feelings come from is only known to his teammates and boyfriend. Overall, Arthur is willing to sacrifice everything, including his own life to save the life of another, even if it means not completing the mission objective. This has come under scrutiny recently and the public discussion of it has only made Arthur more irritable. While he is good at disguising his anger, discussion of this topic or another that he is sensitive about will be signified through his physical traits, either a flaring in his eyes or a quick change in attitude.
Backstory: Arthur’s parents died when he was just under a year, both being killed by an unknown assailant. Arthur was quickly sent off to another family, a family of Dragonites, where he was readily accepted by his new mother and brother. Arthur’s new father, however, was not quite as accepting and quickly became abusive to Arthur. While his foster mom intervened when she could, when Arthur was eleven she contracted a disease and passed on, leaving both Arthur and his brother, Kay, to the mercy of their father. It wasn’t easy, and came as no surprise when the two left as soon as they were able. What Arthur was not prepared for, however, was the shocking reality of the outside world. Having never been outside of his secluded village, Arthur had been raised as an avid worshipper of Rayquaza, never told the truth of the events that the legendary dragon had caused. Upon realizing the truth, Arthur felt somewhat betrayed by the pokemon he had trusted so much in as he grew up. Trying to make sense of it all, Arthur and Kay began to travel, growing stronger but also becoming coldhearted and ruthless. It was not until they stumbled upon the Persevering Spirits safehaven that the boys realized the mistakes they had made, and vowed never to commit such acts again. The two of them, along with a new friend, Lancelot, formed a Scavenger Team. Several years later, during a rescuing mission, Arthur found a badly damaged Honedge and brought him back to the safehaven. The honedge nearly didn’t make it, but when he did, he was very grateful to Arthur. After explaining that he had nowhere to go, Arthur allowed the Honedge, named Mordred, to join his Scavenger Team. The two grew particularly close, and soon after, Arthur adopted Mordred.
Moveset: Leaf Blade, Drain Punch, Focus Blast, Poison Jab, Ice Punch, Shadow Sneak, Psycho Cut, and Night Slash
Other: Ability- Justified. Arthur is highly regarded by all the members of his team, with all of them agreeing they would not rather have another leader. He uses Llamrei as a mount whenever a mission requires him to travel long distances or traverse dangerous terrain. He also occasionally uses Mordred as a sword and shield when the situation demands it, but this is rare. Overall, while Arthur is a great leader, many other members of the same safehaven have started to question his recent actions, saying they are reckless. While all the members of Team Camelot have disagreed with this message, Arthur has been seen taking this to heart. Arthur is currently in a five year long relationship with another member of his safehaven, Rai the Salamence. In addition, Mordred is his adopted son and Kay is his foster brother.
Name: Lancelot
Age: 31
Gender: Male
Species: Weavile
Appearance: Lancelot stands at 3’8 and weighs in at 73 pounds. His fur is more of a gray color rather than a black but his feathers are a distinctly bright crimson red. His right ear feather is ripped, a scar from battle. Lancelot usually wears a white-blue scarf with a golden A around his neck with a black jacket and fingerless gloves. Lancelot’s claws are a boney white, but extremely strong, never having been known to break on anything. With his somewhat light body, Lancelot is practically silent in his movements. His usual expression may come off as anger or annoyance, but overall Lancelot has been known to smile on occasion.
Personality: Lancelot is a somewhat proud man that brags quite a bit. While he is learning to keep his mouth shut, he’s still not very good at it, and has blabbed a few secrets that shouldn’t have gotten out. Unlike Arthur, Lancelot does not look for the good in people, and is more of a realist than anything else. He helps keep Arthur more reasonable in his demands and plans. However, he has seen Arthur’s more unstable side, and will not hesitate to jump to his leader’s defense if there is a question. Overall, Lancelot is very loyal to Arthur and will follow the man’s orders without question. If anything, Lancelot will question the motives and orders of someone else rather than his own leader.
Backstory: Raised in a world where nobody trusted anybody, Lancelot found himself a confused young boy with no solid ground to stand on. His father left he and his mother when he was very young to rescue a family friend from a mystery dungeon and never returned. Later on, his mother tried to escape from the region by the sea under the false information that the Sea Basin pokemon was no longer guarding it. Leaving Lancelot, who could not swim at the time, his mother was eaten before his eyes. Lancelot felt lost and traveled aimlessly until he somehow ended up in a mystery dungeon, where he was attacked and left for dead. Lancelot passed out right as he heard the voices of rescuers nearby. When Lancelot awoke, he was in Persevering Spirits safehaven. He was allowed to recover before he had to choose a team to join to provide for the safehaven. It was about this time Lancelot met Arthur and Kay, who also sought to either join or create a Scavenger Team. The three seemed to realize that they all had suffered in the past, and decided it would be best if they teamed up as a Scavenger Team under the name Team Camelot.
Moveset: Dark Pulse, Shadow Claw, X-Scissors, Metal Claw, Crush Claw, Icicle Crash, Ice Shard, and Brick Break
Other: Ability- Pressure.
Name: Kay
Age: 34
Gender: Male
Species: Dragonite
Appearance: Kay stands at 7’7 and weighs in at 490 pounds. Due to his ancestors being from the Elemental Dragonites, Kay has traits from all the different breeds of Dragonite. His antennas, from the Ice Dragonites, are a fluffy sort that make any atmospheric changes easy for Kay to detect. He has overly large wings and a long tail with a set of mini-wings on them that allow for extremely quick and agile flight techniques, descending from the Thunder Dragonites. In addition, Kay has a very thick body that originates from the Fire Dragonites, his thick limbs and claws making him an extremely brutal fighter. His horn, fangs, and claws are all sharp with the strength of diamonds, a trait of the Water Dragonites. He has stark violet eyes and, despite his size, a very compassionate touch to make his personality. The insides of his wings are covered with scars but his colors remain the same as a regular dragonite’s.
Personality: Kay is a gentle giant. Raised alongside Arthur with an abusive father, Kay has grown to be the kind of person who wouldn't want to harm someone if he had a choice. Sadly, he doesn't so he uses force when he has to since Kay realizes it is necessary. Just like his brother, Arthur, Kay has a code of honor that he follows very closely, which has led to immense criticism for the team as a whole. Kay mainly stands as emotional support for Arthur, since he understands Arthur’s inner anger and betrayal. Kay still feels a lingering loyalty to Rayquaza despite the betrayal due to having been raised an avid worshipper. Kay absolutely adores children and plans on having some one day. He, like Lancelot, is quick to jump to protect Arthur if something about the team comes under scrutiny.
Backstory: Kay was born in a small village home to many dragon types, a child of Elemental Dragonites. His life was rather bland, mostly training, until Arthur came along. The brothers became inseparable, bonding through their pain, training, and life itself. Kay still faces trauma from the abuse he suffered at the hands of his father, so no one was surprised when he and Arthur fled the first chance they got. However, they immediately experienced culture shock when they entered a completely different world. They were shamed for still believing in Rayquaza and informed of the events that plagued the region. Arthur took it harder than Kay, and Kay did his best to support his little brother, traveling across the land with him to the Persevering Spirits Safehaven. Kay still regrets the things they did on their way there, and the two vowed never to commit such acts again if they could help it. Meeting Lancelot, the trio formed Team Camelot with Arthur as its leader and became one of the most skilled rescue and escort teams of their Safehaven.
Moveset: Extremespeed, Dragon Pulse, Dynamic Punch, Hurricane, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, and Aqua Tail
Other: Ability- Multiscale
Name: Mordred
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Species: Aegislash
Appearance: Mordred is a little smaller than the standard for his species, standing at 5'5 and 113.6 pounds, but this also allows for him to be much quicker than a normal Aegislash. Due to his young age, Aegislash has more of a bronze coloring to him than gold. In addition, his blade is not ridged, but rather curves more gently to make a sharp point. He has a blue-white ribbon with a golden "A" on it tied around his hilt. His shield has a long crack across it that has been mended and is no longer fragile, but serves as a reminder for when the team as a whole was too careless.
Personality: Mordred is a kind soul, taking after his adoptive father and uncle. His first priority is helping others, as the mission is only as important as the lives it saves. Mordred follows the same code of honor as his adoptive father, but can be a little bit more ruthless than his father. Much to his fellow teammates’ disgust, there have been times Mordred has killed without regard, which resulted in swift punishment from his father. Mordred regretted these decisions later on, but he still slips up sometimes. He, like the other members, is very aware of Arthur’s emotional issues and will be ready to defend any attack thrown at them.
Backstory: Mordred was born into a large family of Aegislash. He was the only Honedge in his family, so Mordred was immensely bullied as a kid until one day he decided to run away. He caved and came back two days later, but was not allowed to return home due to his leaving in the first place. So Mordred grew up on the streets for many years, challenging dungeons for bounties. He became very good at surviving and got cocky before he slipped up in a dungeon. That's when Arthur found him and took him under his wing. From then on, Mordred worked hard as a member as Team Camelot. He grew quickly, quicker than a normal Honedge, receiving his dusk stone needed to evolve on the first anniversary of his joining the team.
Moveset: King's Shield, Sacred Sword, Shadow Sneak, Night Slash, Aerial Ace, Shockwave, Flash Cannon, and Head Smash
Other: Ability- Stance Change
Pet Form:
Name: Llamrei
Gender: Female
Species: Rapidash
Appearance: Llamrei stands at 17 hands and weighing in at about 250 pounds. Her hooves are a jet black, with her front right hoof bearing a slight crack at the top that is nothing more than a harmless scar. Her fur is a very soft white, almost the color of snow and her mane is a vibrant, with orange being the most dominating color. As she is most commonly used as a mount, Llamrei almost always wears a bridle, reins, and saddle with a white-blue ribbons with a golden A tied onto the bridle.
Moveset: Drill Run, Iron Tail, Flamethrower, Megahorn, Poison Jab, Heat Wave, Solar Beam, and Wild Charge
Other: Ability- Flash Fire. Due to Arthur being somewhat slower than the other members of his team, Llamrei was tamed to act as his mount. It's very rare to see anyone else riding her since Llamrei only really listens to Arthur in the first place. It's been noted that she sometimes listens to Mordred's commands as well, but she's never obeyed Lancelot or Kay unless the command somehow related to Arthur.

Finally finished this D:
Team Name: Team FireStorm
Safehaven: Perserving Spirit
Designated Leader: Joshua the Rhyperior, goes by "Stone"
Name: John, prefers to be known by "Torch"
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Species: Magmortar
Appearance: He's a pretty standard looking Magmortar, though he wears a fire-gem studded leather band around his upper left arm. He has a relatively small jagged scar on his left shoulder, and their team logo, a flaming meteor with FS imprinted on it, imprinted on his upper right arm. He's also the one that carries the team's item sack, (Which they fireproofed) so he's usually seen with a large bag strung around his back.
Personality: Torch is known for being the offensive one, who likes to rush ahead and attack head on. He's often reckless and doesn't think for his own safety. He does have a strong sense of Justice and will pursue his targets with a passion until they're brought down.
Backstory: Torch, Stone and Shock might as well have been brothers. They grew up together in the same Safehaven, learned together, fought together, and eventually chose to work together.
Moveset: Flamethrower, Fire blast, Overheat, Sunny Day
Other: He and his teammate's goal is to defeat a legendary.
Name: Jospeh, prefers to be known as "Shock"
Age: 33
Gender: Male
Species: Electrivire
Appearance: He's slightly larger than the average Electrivire and is usually wearing a pair of white pants tied with an Expert belt. On his upper right arm he too has the team logo.
Personality: Shock is a calculating person who likes to think first, then attack. He is extremely trustworthy and tries his best to understand the feelings of others, though he's not always perfect at it. He's less kind than he is truthful and doesn't believe in keeping secrets himself, though he will keep someone else's secret out of respect.
Backstory: Torch, Stone and Shock might as well have been brothers. They grew up together in the same Safehaven, learned together, fought together, and eventually chose to work together.
Moveset: thunder, discharge, thunder punch, electroweb
Other: He and his teammate's goal is to defeat a legendary.
Name: Joshua, prefers to be known as "Stone"
Age: 34
Gender: Male
Species: Rhyperior
Appearance: Stone is a Shiny Rhyperior who wears a Body-armor type Vest which has the team's logo imprinted on it. Like the others he has the logo imprinted on the side of his upper right arm.
Personality: Stone is, like his exterior, tough and solid, letting few people see what he's thinking or feeling inside. He is not hasty, but does not like to waste time and expects others to give 100%. Stone has a better understanding of politics and the strigns that come attached to promises than his other two teammates and is a better negotiator because of it.
Backstory: Torch, Stone and Shock might as well have been brothers. They grew up together in the same Safehaven, learned together, fought together, and eventually chose to work together.
Moveset: Stone Edge, Mega-horn, earthquake, Avalanche
Other: He and his teammate's goal is to defeat a legendary.
Name: Thought
Gender: Male
Species: Abra
Appearance: A plain Abra, but has several scars on the top of his head and a collar around its neck. It often is holding on to either his head or its feet with both his hands.
Moveset: Teleport, Protect, Future Sight, Psychic
Other: Thought is used mainly for Scouting and traveling with teleport.

I would've liked some more elaboration on the backstories, but accepted.

They basically grew up normal lives within their safehaven, but became such close friends that they might as well have been brothers. No Sob-story or tale of vengence or anything that particularly made them into adventurers.
Anyway, any suggestions on how to have them join into the RP? Should I make it as if they were in the meeting this whole time or create some reason for them being late?

Seeing as we're not even a page into the RP, there's no reason to pretend that they were late or anything. I was really ambiguous in the first post about how many teams, exactly, were with each Safehaven's group.

True enough, I was just giving the opportunity for creative thinking for possible plot devices but I will go ahead and plop them into the meeting.

Got a really really really cool looking banner for the RP from Neo's Dreamcrafter Banner thread! It's on the first post, check it out! ^^

I saw it! It looks awesome! Makes me wonder why Mew is featured. Darkrai is for obvious reasons.
It's off to the left though, is is supposed to be left aligned or centered?

...I had sort of just woken up about a half hour or so before and didn't really think of centering it.
And as for why Mew is there, you'll see soon enough~

...Okay so I know Neo's Halloween event was really fun and well done, but it's approaching a month of inactivity for this RP and just sort of a reminder and yeah? Have a nice rest of day/weekend/Halloween etc.

Xanthe (Suicune's Fire) and I are currently working on Round 2, so that kind of explains why I still haven't back into RPing.
As long as you don't mind me making little posts and minor things while doing this...

There's this thing. It's called college. It's very time consuming.

Sorry. Didn't want to put pressure or anything, just wanted to make sure people were still interested.
Yo
Doing some reforms of my apps while I finally work on that first post. Just little things like tweaking personalities, definitely movesets, and clarifying that the "apps" are written from the perspective of another Pokemon, likely someone higher-up at Fractured Heavens. Gives some insight into how most safehaven-members familiar to Team Double-Take! (name change!) perceive them.
AND I HAVE POSTED, GOOD GOD
App edits are almost done. Gave 'em a pet.

Sorry to those who were still interested, but I'm shutting down this RP.
My drive to continue PMDNN on this site has reached more or less zero.
Perhaps I'm just not very experienced or good at the more literate style of RPs on this site, or how the characters tend to wander about more. I'm probably really paranoid about losing control over absolutely everything, which I'm fairly sure hinders the style of RPing that you guys seem most comfortable with.
Hope you guys enjoyed what little you did get to RP in this... Bye.
