With Civ 6 on its way, I thought it'd be appropriate to make a Civ thread. Who here plays Civ? What is your favorite Civ game?

You know I do.

Has to be the current iteration; I've played so much Civilization V, and the amount of hours that Steam shows I've played it proves it to be one of my favourite games of all time, let alone of the series.

It also helps that the only other one from the series I played was the original game way back in the 90s. It's where it all started, but it doesn't hold a candle to V.

I'm very much looking forward to VI! Although that price will have to drop before even I, dedicated player of V, will buy it.

I definitely have played a lot of Civ V. Probably not as much as some people but it's a respectable amount. I also play IV but I'm trying to figure that particular one out so oh well. V is still my favorite and I add mods for it every once in a while. Enhanced UI is the most useful one THO.

Definitely looking forward to VI but I'm waiting til the price drop and other stuff to see how the game's going to turn out. That and my backlog is pretty huge but I like pulling Civ out when I get really bored and can only play on my laptop :3

Original, or from the expansions? I'll go for all. Poland. I don't know why. I think it's the red and black colour scheme mostly, because UA/B/Us are irrelevant for my decision making, because I win regardless.
