There's a few, but they're in a busy area. Lately, I just haven't been able to squeeze in the time to go over there and get to them.

But yeah, running out of Pokeballs sucks. I can sometimes catch Pokemon right in my bedroom when I want to catch a few but it's too late at night to go walking around, but without Pokeballs, ha, ha... ha, ha... no. I don't even want to turn it on, because I'm afraid there's going to be a SUPER AWESOME POKEMON right in my room, and all I can do is just look at it... laughing at me... mocking me relentlessly. XD

I can only play it on my iPad right now (don't have a phone, long story), but I've been out a couple of times with it, and the buses I use have WiFi, so I've managed to catch a decent number of Pokémon, and I'm Level 8 now. :)

In Europe? In my experience yes. In the USA, it varies state to state. New York if I recall correctly is a yes but Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, SC, and NC are definite nos from my experience.

They only really started it a couple of years ago, and for now only the most popular buses (double decker ones) have them. Most people wait until they get the buses that have WiFi now, so it's gradually becoming more of a common thing.

I read something that said they are special pokemon and they have no catch ratio. So Legends can only be obtained with a special pokemon.

They also confirmed master balls are a thing.

At first I thought it would be cool to have the legends appear in a certain place that you had to go get them. Like Mewtwo in the trailer... But seeing how popular it is and the way people freaked out over a vaporeon in central park, I'm thinking that's really not a good idea. There would just be way too many people!

Hatched a Pontya today, which was nice. I didn't catch that much (ran out of Pokeballs again), but I still got a nice walk out before the sky got cloudy and there was suddenly thunder.

I haven't been able to battle too many gyms. By now, if you don't have a CP of at least 1000, you're not battling. XP

I've been mostly just gathering up a whole bunch of Pokemon to evolve before using a Lucky Egg and then evolving all of them. I've been around several places in the neighborhood, but the best place still seems to be near the train station I have just a short walking distance away. It's mostly a breeding pit for Weedles, Pidgeys, and Spearows, but every now and then, something new and sweet comes along. Meanwhile, with four Pokestops and a gym that gets some INSANELY HIGH Pokemon sitting in it (Highest I've seen was a 2800+ CP Dragonite), it's a pretty nice oasis of activity considering the rest of the neighborhood has nothing. Not to mention the other day someone used a lure module and I definitely took advantage of that.

I'd say gather as least ten Pokemon to evolve and then let it loose. When I use a Lucky Egg, I also use Incense/Lures to take advantage of the double EXP for captures as well, because chances are pretty good you won't be evolving Pokemon for the whole half hour the Lucky Egg lasts for, but you want to use it to it's fullest potential.

It's funny. I've caught some really rare ones at my work already. Snorlax, Venesaur, Poliwhirl, Charmeleon was there once, but probably in the apartment complex nearby....suuuuuucks. A co-worker told me Sunday night....there was a Raichu in the parking lot about a week ago. He was sent out to get carts so he pulled his phone out to check and saw that. So he's lucky he got a Raichu the easy way.

Yeah ours is set to km as well. I guess they figured it would be easier. Meanwhile, over half the people I know that are playing now, all part of Valor, are cheating. All of them use the hack and walk anywhere they want. Niantic. GET TO IT! xD

Level 22 iirc. I only play for like 30 mins a day when I go for a walk at lunch time. The amount of experience required to level up has gotten pretty ridiculous. o_O Seriously how were people getting to level 30 within the first few weeks!!!!

Oh, and level 21 Mystic here, wishing to join the club and making slow progress by camping the three Pokemon spawn points, 3 out of 6 Pokestops and singular gym in this small town. I know I'm not alone out there - the single Team Valor trainer that took the gym a couple of days ago tells me that much... As do the 3 allied trainers that only showed up after I raised the gym to level 10 by myself in 3 days and held it overall for a couple of weeks or so, only for them to stay there for less than half one and never come back. I admit, I'd raise the gym to level 10 again, but it's getting cold outside now. There even used to be a couple of Team Instincts I joined forces with to drive out 4 Team Valors twice our individual level...

Wish I didn't have to feel social pressure and regret living here by people seemingly mocking me with stupid questions and silly things, though... Yeah, thanks guys, I'll totally find a Pikachu by going graverobbing and you totally caught 200 Pokemon when last I heard, you didn't play. Even if it's a joke, it gets stale eventually. I suppose it's bound to happen when I'm seemingly the only one to play Pokemon GO relatively often... And by that, I mean I catch 5 Pokemon a day on the way to school and back, sometimes one in the middle, too, if I don't instinctively put my phone away because of company. A Pokemon a day keeps the Professor away...?

Nothing ever spawns near me because the nearest pokestops are miles away. I have to drive at least ten minutes before anything spawns.

I'm out, also. And it's too darn cold to go and get more. It was easy during the summer and I could rack up close to 80 Poke balls in one go, and now it's freezing out. That's really the problem with having to go to Pokestops to get everything you need.

The evolve button is there, but you need the candy for it. Only way is to hatch it or buddy it to get those though

I've found lots of Clefairy. Think it depends where you go though xD At uni all I've really found is Slowpoke, Porygon and Jigglypuff. Around my friend's house there were heaps of Clefairy and Exeggcute. I really want a Chansey, never seen one!

They should have done a big event for them when the games were still massive, would have been amazing! Maybe they planned it but it would have been too dangerous with so many people after what happened when other rare Pokemon appeared.

So I downloaded the update and caught three of the new Pokemon: Sentret, Ledyba, and Natu. It was definitely quite refreshing to see new Pokemon mingled with the older ones. I feel like I'm slowly getting back into it where before, I hadn't touched the game in months even though it always was still on my phone.

I like the new layout for selecting berry items and what Pokeball you want to use. I just wish these changes came sooner back when everyone was still into the game. It could have kept the steam going whereas now, it's lost such a big chunk of it's player base in the downtime. I'm hoping things start picking up again, though. The walks I had just for Pokemon Go were refreshing and it gave me more of a reason to get off my butt and move around.

Them adding Gen 2 Pokemon has gotten me back into playing this (at least at work anyway)

Been able to get a Sentret, Hoothoot, Ledyba, Spinarak, Natu, Hoppip, Skiploom, Murkrow, Sneasel and Swinub so far. As well as Eevee evolving into Espeon, and Umbreon.

I had a lot of fun playing Gen 1 as a little kid, but I have even fonder memories with Gen 2 so it's really cool to see the Pokemon from then in Go now.

Played some more at work today, and got enough candy to evolve Sentret into Furret (and then found a wild Furret 5 steps later...>_>) also found Wooper, and Marill because it had rained some. Besides that managed to find a Gligar, and also managed to find a Sudowoodo which I was especially happy about since it was the Gen 2 roadblock (making it seem rare to me), and I haven't gotten a Snorlax yet so.

I know!! They moved around a lot of Pokemon (a lot of the old 10km Pokemon like Scyther, Pinsir, Tauros etc. are now 5km) but for some reason put Pineco as a 10km! Why couldn't it have been a Chansey or Snorlax!!! xD

Also has anyone had to battle a Blissey yet?! Those things are practically impossible! Unless you have really strong Pokemon, the timer runs out before you can defeat it. x_x

Also, if anyone's wondering, getting Umbreon and Espeon can be done by naming your Eevee "Sakura" if you want Espeon and "Tamao" if you want Umbreon. I got an Umbreon, just need the Espeon now and I have the whole crew! At least until the other Eeveelutions come along.

And... I also remembered poor Murkrow can't evolve quite yet. It's easy to forget about these kinds of things! XD

Yup, they're here until the 6th. So you have time, but it seems like the Pikachu spawn rate is only slightly higher. So good luck on finding one for sure. Hopefully you guys can find one. My advice. Go to an area with a good spawn rate for all type of Pokémon you know of. Like a park or something. My work just so happens to be a good one with NO Pokestop at that. So main thing. Get a few inscence to use. Pikachu is included in the spawn rate for that right now. Mine must've popped from that because it wasn't even listed nearby at the time.

Yeah. During the Christmas event they had a higher spawn rate for all starters. So it made it easier to find. The spawn rate is only slightly higher now, but nothing like for the Christmas one.

That's one thing that bothers me. They seem to "expect" everyone to want to travel. TRAVEL to get exclusives too. Let's see, how hard is that?

1. You have to have an income to afford something like that

2. You need to purchase some kind of international data plan (WHICH IS EXPENSIVE) just so you can play "on the GO" in that country

3. Luck. You need some extreme LUCK to find it if so. All that for just what? One or maybe 2 Pokémon now?

I hatched a Sudowoodo, 2 Grimer, 2 Togepi, Smoochum, Cleffa and an Onix from 2km eggs during the event, and a Porygon from a 10km egg. I still have nine 2km eggs stocked so here's hoping for a Snorlax! xD

Was also finally able to get an Arcanine and Magneton thanks to clearing out my 5km eggs and getting extra candies from hatching them during the event!

Yep, I get that too, and it tends to crash quite a bit, especially when looking up gyms in the field. And then you have to go through the whole process again.

But yeah, if it was more stable, I'd definitely play it a lot more.

I'm excited about Fire types! They're definitely the rarest kind of Pokemon around where I live. Maybe I'll finally get a Charizard (only caught one Charmander ever!!!!)

Also more Vulpix so I can get a Ninetales! Only ever hatched one Vulpix!

Must be a place where there's a PokeStop. Usually places like that have at least PokeStop. Somewhere nearby will be a Gym. Right across from the library here (which is a stop) is a park. It has 3 gyms and another 4-5 Stops.

I finally got a phone that can play Pokemon GO yesterday so I started my very own account (have been playing with my bf all this time). I walked out my door for my first official Pokemon walk and I FOUND A WILD BLISSEY right there!!!! Luckily I managed to catch it with a Pokeball as that's all I had. XD It's on 41CP. It's really fun to put in gyms haha! Funnily enough my bf also caught the Bissey and his is on 42CP, so it was just a really weak one! XD

that is... Outright unexpected and terrifically lucky. I didn't find Pokemon like that for a while. Certainly not as my first Pokemon.

On that note: did my first Raid today, for an Articuno. I actually managed to beat it... But the stupid thing kept dodging the Premiere balls and I ran out. I leveled up for it, though-it's been my first time playing in a long while and I want those awesome Legendaries.

To be fair, I almost did that myself, tried to take it on solo. That went abysmally, but apparently some facebook group (independent of me) had heard about the spot I was in, and everyone appeared and assembled out of nowhere, and we suddenly had like 11 people fighting the Articuno. We needed two tries even then.

On that note: Apparently yesterday was the last day to get it. The new legendary of the week is Moltres. I feel doubly salty about not getting the Articuno now, but I got something out of it all the same...

I wonder when Mewtwo will start showing up in raids. Probably another go-fest will determine that.

My bf and I managed to get a Lugia last week. I had shown up to two different Articuno raids at uni and no one else showed up. They were bad timing - 8am :/ But anyway we were on our way out and we decided to walk past the Lugia raid for fun, wasn't expecting anyone, but there were 15 people there!!! We came at the perfect time and beat Lugia and were SUPER lucky in catching it!! This was before I got my own game though, so I don't have one. xD And we weren't able to get Articuno. :( But there is a Moltres raid going on right now. WHY DO THEY KEEP PUTTING THEM ALL AT LIKE 8AM!!! There's no one here!!! But anyway, gonna walk over there in about half an hour just to see if anyone happens to be there!

It's the same here. :( I ended up having to join a few facebook groups where they organise raids for my area. It's been awesome so far actually! Yesterday I met up with a group of 15-20 people and we drove around to four different Moltres raids in the area! Both me and my bf managed to catch one each, which was really exciting!!! They're doing the same thing for Zapdos next weekend, so it should be good! :D

Yeah actually it does. There's a reason I've never met a friend from the internet before. It's why I eagerly await getting my own car so I can meet people halfway. Also trying to work on my parents on letting me spend a semester in Melbourne. So far the only obstacle is that if I choose to become a double major I have to spend a semester in Spain which means no semester in Australia. Otherwise my mom is totally onboard with Australia being my semester abroad location.

Yeah, I can understand why my parents are worried. Quite candidly, since I have known most of you for what like three years now, I suspect you're not anyone dangerous but sex trafficking and other things like that increasingly are done through the internet so I probably wouldn't feel safe meeting people I had met less than a year ago.

Well if I studied in Melbourne, my parents wouldn't be with me so I'd be able to pretty much do what I wanted within reason. I already talked to Xanthe and she said the university I was looking at was like 20 minutes from Melbourne so maybe I could take a bus or something to meet up with you guys.

Does it still take a long time to start up and crash often? That was the killer for me. If it was quick, stable, and didn't crash all the time, I'd probably still be playing it, but the whole take forever to start and then crash ten seconds into it was just too annoying to deal with. ._.

Try searching around your community. Someone set up a Discord chat for it and we have number of people posting about raids and getting groups together. Haha, there's even an "airdrop" section so people that can spawn somewhere can help if you give them a location xD. I'm hoping to try again soon.

Nah, everyone can catch it. It's just got a low catch rate (2% or so iirc). At least half the people at my raids usually catch it. I've just been unlucky xD

One time we had 9 people and couldn't beat it ;_; People aren't very good at selecting Pokemon to fight with!

Well there's that and some people might not be leveled enough. I'm only 23 so I'm not leveled like some might be. It easiest to run your BEST team and when you faint. Heal up ASAP then jump back in with whatever team it gives you (as long as you have at least one good in the list). That way you don't miss out as the DPS can stay relatively moderate. Less dps, the higher chance others will faint faster and less damage will be dealt to them. Meaning your chances of losing will be higher. So maintaining high dps is a strong key to victory

Yeah some of the raids are incredibly hard. Sometimes I have no choice, but to use Pokémon with a type disadvantage. Just because I have nothing strong enough. Better to deal more damage than be wiped in an instant

But HEY! Had some luck today. Articuno, Zapdos, Lugia, AND Tyranitar all mine now! =D

That's great! Splitting it into sections for your community's areas are great. Help keep it more simplified at that. Now those legendary birds will be easier to beat.....but you've only got today and tomorrow before I think they'll be gone for awhile. The supposed Mewtwo event is suppose to start the beginning of September.

Yeah we're trying to coordinate. But the server is growing nonetheless! We've got three mods right now and we're going to be bringing on three more. I also was able to take down an exeggutor with someone else from the group yesterday! It's great!

Yeah, I might try to see if I can figure out the nests in this area again. I know there was a sneasel nest here at one time but that changed.

That's no good. Hopefully it wasn't anything too serious. There's a few sites people use to say where they've seen a lot of one particular Pokémon spawn. So it determines it as a nest or biome. Last I checked I didn't see much around Georgia or South Carolina. Maybe it just didn't load well

Silph road or whatever has it. The closet bulbasaur nest is in Greenville, which soooo figures.

And yeah not really. I mentioned spoofing and they all got their panties in a twist. Several people were actually trying to defend me. So right now there's four mods. One has spoofed before, one doesn't really care, one has considered spoofing but probably wouldn't do it, and one absolutely hates it. Before the last one joined us we considered using scanner bots, but since he joined we're thinking if we do that we're gonna need to make like a private room for the three of us that would like to use it.
