Hey guys I just wanted to send out a reminder. Since this is a team competition our goal is to fill it together. This means before you evolve something please please please make sure its something someone else has not evolved. If you have not been lucky enough to find many pokemon here evolve what you do have. This means that those of us with starters should avoid evolving our starter as we should avoid people using the rare evolutions to pick a pokemon we already have. When you evolve something please look at this list. After you pick it post here so I can update our list.

Those of us with more pokemon should aim for pokemon others dont have. If you have a caterpie, nidoran m or nidoran f those are good choices since not many of us have them. Either way please us our dex list to help us clear through the dex as a team.

Wouldn't it make more sense to black out the ones we haven't caught yet? xD That makes it look like we have every pokemon except a few ones which are blacked out, haha. Maybe instead of completely blacking it out, they could be really faded and grey so we know which pokemon they are, but you can still tell we don't have them. :] If you want, I could whip it up.

Sorry to double post!

Primape was already taken apparently, according to the Wild Pokemon Claim Thread's second post!

So basically I had a day off and went to town with pokemon hunting. I evolved my slowpoke into a slowbro and next I'll evolve:

- Pidgeotto into a pidgeot
- Zubat into golbat


I also updated the pokedex image! We're up to 66 pokemon. When I evolve those two above, it'll be 68!

EDIT: Evolved mine...so they're off the list! Come on, guys. Mystic is beating us by one point! They've got 69 pokemon and we've got 68!

Uhh I was, but I've been off my computer for a few days, hehe. I CAN'T FIND CUBONE AND IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS. I will say that kangaskhan maaayyy be a little outside the box. And that's not cheating because it voids the original rules about where it can be found. xD I haven't found a drowzee yet though.

Finding Cubone requires one to be advanced. I found it rather easily, though! I'm kinda surprised that there are people who haven't found it, but I feel like people give up after a quick look.

Hey guys as we approach the high up gyms lets try our best to focus on the dex as filling it is going to help us win this event. Beating the gym is important of course but please check this list out before evolving. There is only a team victory in this event. No one can win the hunger games alone..LOL

Don't disregard any if you find them because that's silly; keep the ones that you find because you could use them in gym battles and such. :] And even fodder hasn't been evolved yet, haha.

Anyway, I'm evolving my staryu (from my gym challenge) and I'm not sure what else yet. I think I'm going to hang back and keep an evolution for if I need it.

we already got raticate. I wonder who on the team has it. Maybe we can see if they can trade. Meanwhile you have a growlithe you could evolve that would get you a fire and help us knock arcanine.

I was thinking about going the cloyster route. Not sure many people or going to get it or poliwrath now that jynx and all the fighting types are available

This battling is almost as confusing as GCEA battling :P Only I would account for that making it so Cloyster would Onix or Rhydon because it would be double weak to water :)

I'm not really sure what you guys are trying to do. xD There are no double weaknesses, so Cloyster will draw with fully evolved Rock or Rock/Ground types. Is that what you were asking? xD

I don't know. I made it up on the spot xD I guess I thought it would be simpler. Plus if you think about it, a SE water attack will knock out Rhydon but a SE Rock attack will knock out Cloyster at the same time. But yeah, no real reason for not having double effective :P

It did make it simple :P I actual like it for the most part and you were so right.

Cloyster was a bad pokemon to bring up. That thing is a glass cannon!


However try doing that some stuff to Lapras and see if its bulk doesnt shut you down.

Also, as you search for Pokemon, hold Ctrl while clicking on each thread link. It'll open every thread in a new tab, so you can just quickly check through each opened tab for Pokemon and close it after checking instead of going back and forward through each thread one at a time. It's MUCH faster.

You will also need to post in the pokemon claim thread, and also, only first gen pokemon exist in this event so magmar does not evolve. c: Nobody on the team has a hypno yet, so you might be able to evolve that. cx Or your psyduck.


Guys, I'm thinking of evolving either my grimer or kabuto...but I think the grimer will be the better way to go in terms of what we need for the pokedex, though I'd prefer a kabuto but I assume that someone else will claim one from their gym battle... I guess I'll see!

SO! Team Mystic scum has us beaten by one pokedex entry, and they probably have more evolutions up their sleeve! Here are my thoughts for conquering the next gym, which will have ground types (probably ground and rock).

These are the people who have the following pokemon, and who can evolve them if they have an evolution handy (from beating a gym or another challenge). These pokemon will help you beat the next gym and will also help fill our dex.

Diglett - Rival Max, Corrupt_Voidlich, me, Neo Emolga
Psyduck - Rival Max, Neo Emolga, LKWayvern, Dragon Master Mike, Dennis Jansen, Corrupt_Voidlich, Corey, me, ninjaskarmory, Sieses, Dratini, Im Not A Curse

I was thinking of evolving either my krabby or diglett. Shellder is also an option, but being part ice gives it a disadvantage against potential rock types (though I could just not use it on a rock type). Who can spare an evolution for these? Unfortunately, I found out the hard way Lapras is no good for Blaine's gym. I desperately need a Vaporeon, but I'm just waiting for the Sabrina gym to get approved first, ask for Vaporeon, and then use that to finish off Blaine's gym.

I have Seadra already, so if we don't have Kingler yet, I'd say go for that or for Victreebel.

You need to get your hands on some grass types, a flying type. Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan are floating around too! getting your hands on another final stage pokemon will help.
