This thread will be getting reworked over time to continue being updated

After a successful year and improvements on the first year of the PXR Gaming nights. Comes the next wave. This thread is remodeled and more sustainable to be changed around. It'll involve monthly changes to what game we will play. A week or so before we can decide on what game we will play during that month. It could even involve multiple games. Some nights may even involve prizes!

If you wish to request games to play with certain people you can do that here too! Just tag those on the list below. When you sign up using the list. Please include a few party games that you may like to see used in a future monthly theme for the PXR Gaming night. Also include your timezone and preferred nights to game. This way we can all work to join each other and have a full PXR night of gaming to just have fun!

That's why I'm trying to hold out on the final version for this thread. There's a few tweaks and updates coming, but I wanna roll those out when we actually get things going.

Yup! For those that are interested it's still going on tonight. Starting at 10pm EST and maybe a little later if needed. If you signed up (which I'm updating the list soon) and made sure to post or PM me your Steam ID then you are eligible to win Uno on Steam. All you need to do is win a full round of CAH.

10pm just seemed like the time most people told me they could make it. I've been out all day. So if I start running behind I'll let you guys know. I should be home before time though. Each round will be to 5 points. It's planned to do 3 rounds or more if needed. Then depending on the time we can have the winners play some Uno if they want or plan to do that next week.

Awesome news to hear, Xanthe! I'll add you to the list too. Hopefully we can see you join us! This'll be a quick fun game. Then we play Unooooooooooooooooo xD. For those that have it on Steam. Sadly the Steam game only supports Windows so those with Mac can't play it....unless they use that mode that runs Windows, but that's still unstable from what I hear.

This thread and many others are commonly buried by a combo of activity and newsbot threads so if I haven't responded, it means I haven't seen this yet and unless you decided you don't want me to come you need to tag me. Don't wait until the game starts, tag me before hand, message me before hand, do something! I also don't have skype open all the time so saying you posted in the skype chat isn't going to cut it either. I get it was short notice, but isn't that even more reason to tag people about it so they don't miss it? I could have joined, I wasn't doing anything tonight except watching television with my parents which I could have easily opted out of, but because I had no knowledge that this was going on, I wasted a prime opportunity to hang out with you guys. I don't care about the prize, I do this because I enjoy hanging out with my friends, and it kills me that they didn't think to notify me until after the game started when it was clear I hadn't seen the thread yet since I hadn't responded at all.

I just don't understand why you wouldn't tag when all prior games you have and because it was a late notice game. Eric-saur didn't message me and sure you and Xanthe did but like I said, by then it was too late, you should have messaged me earlier but ya know that's just my two cents. It's an easy oversight to make (one that I've done a number of times. XP) when you're organizing all the other stuff going on.

You don't get it. I'm pretty much barred from any sort of human interaction for the next three week save my parents. I'm having surgery this Friday and I probably won't be able to attend if we're having a game this Saturday because I'm not sure how I'll be feeling. Then, as a result of said surgery, I won't be able to walk around at all until the following Friday and the week following that it's highly advised I keep from going anywhere. This was my only chance at hanging out with people for at least two weeks maybe three, that's why this is such a huge deal to me.

Lately I haven't had a good few weeks with work and some family things. Now with work changing my schedule (at least until they change it again or I find something new) scheduled game nights will be fluctuating. Most weekends will probably not work. So it'll be mostly weekday nights.

I'll double check, but I thiiiiiink I have Quiplash, Emerald. So we could play that sometime. I've been having fun playing Rocket League and Dead by Daylight lately too. Those and Uno sound like they would be a heck of a lot of fun to play together.

I gotta make sure I get a good notice and my own stupid schedule now. I'll put this kinda bluntly actually. One of the hiring managers at my work literally asked me yesterday if I knew anyone that's looking for a job. Because we're so "understaffed" right now. See a store rule is we don't hire friends or relatives of a co-worked. So I couldn't have a friend and family member apply. Apparently they're pretty desperate so in the meantime they're overworking and stressing everyone else out instead. It's quite sad

Once I find some time where my schedule fits with enough of us here I'll post it here and set something up here. Sadly more than likely it'll more than anything be weekdays now.

Well that something with this I hope to improve is one thing. Not to limit or exclude some while not denying it totally either. So all possibilities are open. I'm still open to giving out 2 more Uno games as I promised too, but that's Windows only on Steam. Overwatch though, yeah, especially with our level. We'd get anyone joining us that's higher leveled. Though I experienced yet another way when trying to teach a friend I bought it for. Where even low level players were like incredibly OP. So higher leveled players are making new accounts and going crazy on "newbies."

Dead by Daylight is not free, but it can support a good group of players in a private match. It's really a 1v4 game for those that don't know of it. Honestly I've been a little...caught up in it lately xD. It's a lot of fun. Maybe wait until it goes on sale though. Fall sales are right around the corner.

Any of the Jackbox Party Pack games would work as well--only one person needs to host, and the others join in via a room code, even if they don't own the game.

I forgot if any of those are free though. Seems like a lot of people are only wanting free games right now, but I'd like to have paid games in the list too. So we're not excluding anyone from anything. All types of games should be good to play here.

I'm all game for ToS and Jackbox. As far as maturity I'm fine with as wild and crazy as you can go. We've played CAH before and that gets pretty far out there too. So I'll leave it to the others. If they have an issue then we will have to discuss it before we play.

Right now yeah it looks like earlier on Saturday would be best. As for what game(s) we might see how many we get to join first. If it's a big group we can do Cards Agaisnt Humanity so everyone can play. Once we get down tonmaybe a few people we can decide from there as to what we can play. Maybe Town of Salem. If only 2 maybe 3 show we can figure it out from there too as we don't know what kinds of games we all have together.
