Basically, from what I understand out of this: Regular dodgeball with a football instead?
Well, no, not really. It's basically touch football with reduced endzones, and when you catch the ball you stop and throw it immediately. There's no running involved if you have the ball. It's a pretty slow game in general, but after playing for awhile it's pretty fun and exerting.

But it's really cloudy and rainy today, which is my preferred weather. No sun hoooraaay!

It drizzled when I went shopping today for mother's day gifts, and thats the worst that the weather got today. Otherwise, everything was fine. I just hate when it rains while I'm anyplace that I'm not home, since I have to take the bus home and it just really hinders transportation methods (meaning the bus has a higher chance of coming late, traffic would be more of a hassle, etc).

Since we're on the topic of weather, it was a lot colder today, which I liked. The only part I didn't like about it was waking up in the middle of the night, because I was cold. xD

Yeah, it's been chilly for the past two days here. o__o It was nice, 60 degrees F, then bam, 40 degrees F. xD

In other news, I had 2 of my 6 exams yesterday - Maths and Media. Thought I did really well in my Media re-sit, but not so well in my Maths exam. I worked out that I lost at least 30 marks out of 75... Hopefully I get, at most, 60% ._.

Dropping Maths next year, haha.

At my old school in Ohio, we ended June 5th. We started August 27. Here, the start date is the same, but the end is much sooner. And we don't get extra days/skip holidays because of weather~

I know that's true a lot in my case. I have the best English teachers and the worst Math teachers. I'm awesome in English and I absolutely suck at Math.

This greatly bothers me to this day, and I wish I would've had better teachers. u_u

I finish sometime in July, but then school and College always starts in September over here in England. Exams are always fun though :L

Speaking of bad teachers, I usually found that people branded them that when, in fact, the students were horrible and treated them poorly and disrespectfully. The teachers struggle to control them and BAM - branded as bad. It was a shame, the students were usually to blame :/

I had two great literature teachers in 7th and 9th grade (before I left), and they had a bad reputation for being mean. My 9th grade honors lit teacher even addressed that, saying if we did this then those 'rumors' about her would come true. xDD

I'm not big into social media either, even though it seems like it's being forced upon everyone whether you like it or not.

The one I use the most is probably LinkedIn, which is mostly for jobs and professional purposes. I have a Facebook account, but that's mostly because there's a lot of things that pretty much require it. I also have a Twitter account, but I mostly just read tweets, I don't make tweets myself.

Mostly all DS games fall within the range of around $35-40, depending on the sales tax of your state. But honestly, it'll bound to be around that area, anyway. So I don't see it as too much of a problem setting aside money for those games.

In any case though, I've been in search for a job, in which my efforts have pretty much come up fruitless. I'm going to go to college tomorrow to see if I can get some help on my resumé, that's pretty much my best option at the moment.

Aside from that, how's everyone else?

Yep. My brother bought assassins creed 3, and tried to trade it in in January. They gave him nothing because its from last year ha ha. I don't trade games. I would rather sell them if they are in good condition.

Wow, hate to be an Australian gamer. But that's about the same price us Europeans pay. 60 AUSD is about 44 Euro which is a standard price for Pokemon games over here.

Pokemon will be glitchy, one way or another. However, I do believe that horde battles and sky battles will not be broken (Or slightly that it is almost unnoticeable) because ever since R/B/Y, they can afford beta testers to make sure the games run properly. Or, they had them with R/B/Y, whatever. However, a majority of the R/B/Y glitches were Missingno. glitches, coming into effect if either the player had no Pokemon or surfed the east coast of Cinnabar Island if their name had the variables to make it be a form of Missingno. Also including the fact that they didn't have much money at the time of their first games~

They had like, two beta testers for RBY, which obviously didn't cover everything, and still wouldn't have had funds to fix it. xDD

X and Y will have tons of beta testers, combing through every singe tile on the game. Also, walking is 8-tiled, like PMD: 3D, not free walk. xD Except on rollerblades, that's free. c:

I'm debating now if I should get a 3DS or not. I've been doing a lot of music related things lately, such as my new band. I'm thinking about buying something that'll help my band out, such as a recording accessory or a new cymbal.

Hmm, those would probably a good investment too :o As much as I love the 3DS, and despite how much I've been supporting it, there are probably more important things you could spend that money on. I mean, hey, there are several good games out for it right now: Ocarina of Time, Kid Icarus, Fire Emblem Awakening, Kingdom Hearts 3DS, future Pokemon X and Y, and a bunch of others I'm forgetting right now xD But the thing is, you'll probably end spending more money to get games...

Actually, how 'bout this for a scheme: buy music stuff for now, go and do shows, get money, then use said money to buy game stuff to play in your leisure time ;D

How does Animal Crossing work? Like what's the goal? I've never played it before.

The purpose is to make money by doing fishing, gathering, and lumberjacking so you can purchase useless vanity items. I lost several months of my life to that game like five years ago.

When I showed up, I was expecting my scheduled (essentially) ROOT CANAL. Then they were like, "Well, Mike, we have come up with a cheaper, less painful solution."

Then the orthodontist is like, "You are getting braces for your upper teeth, effectively lowering the problem tooth."

Now, not wanting to go along with the painstaking operation that is, what was essentially a root canal, I said yes. So, long story short, I now have braces... WHAT THE HELL? Today was really unexpected...

It is not really pain so much as discomfort for the first day or two. Invisaline braces are far too overpriced. They are like 3Xs more than regular braces.

Hey, so I'm not sure if anyone still remembers me from Pe2k, but I just noticed the news bulletin that everyone moved here. Anyone able to enlighten me on why we all moved to a new forum?

We moved because pe2k is dying/dead. Activity is at pretty much an all time low, and the forum is infested with spam bots. There is lag which makes viewing profiles, and editing posts unbearable, and new people rarely join. Also a lot of staff are inactive.

Here we don't have the lag of pe2k, and there is much more activity. There are less spam bots, and even if there are, the staff are active enough to make sure they are gone before they cause any issues.

PXRs community is mostly from pe2k, with more members joining regularly, and the boards are much more active.

It's not possible to complete the Pokedex in all of the games. At least in Gen II. MAYBE III, but at least 2. Mainly because Celebi could only be obtained by using a cell phone. But, it also depends if we're talking about him/her doing it legit or not.

First game I've ever beaten collecting every item/character in the game was FFIII, I think it was 6 in Japan. Despite the 16 bit graphics still the best FF in my opinion. Aside from the pokemon games, I've also completed FE Path of Radiance & Radiant Dawn.

I think the only one I've 100% completed is Mario Galaxy. I've nearly beaten Galaxy 2 as well, but there are two levels that I just can't get. Oh and Mario Bros Wii. I've come close with Windwaker, but I always missed some of the monsters you had to take a photo of, so never quite got 100%.

No, she isn't exactly 100% trying to help. I still don't see that permit to get stuff fixed by Nintendo when I was told she could just do them anyways. She took my laptop on my two cousins' astronomical birthdays, one born on December 1 and December 2 respectively, last year on December 1, and claimed she broke it while I was helpless. It then didn't work and the graph never worked properly. Now I'm trying to devise a powerpoint plan on how the full astronomical calendar fitting all the days should smoothly operate, since I'll be controlling it. I don't know which holiday is going on. The 4th of July and my birthday are past. I bet you're all enjoying that Summer vacation.

I'm wearing shorts and I just had a dream it was July 7 for some reason but not at its proper time of year. Much like how every 4 are after a leap year, but this one was quite different.

The only Holiday I was tracking is Ramazan (Pashtu), more commonly known as Ramadan. Had a nice little Eid celebration with some of our Interpreters and Afghan Uniformed Police partners. I've been in Afghanistan for the past almost 4 months so summer doesn't mean much for me because it's already hot over here. I'm patiently waiting for winter and returning back to the states.

I'm sure I will. Were the earliest games much different from 2 and 3 in terms of gameplay? I know almost nothing about them except that I saw clips of them and the camera angle was different.

By earliest games I'm not sure if you mean Metal Gear 1 and 2 or Metal Gear Solid 1. MG is pretty different since it was on MSX, really old computer, but MGS1 plays similar enough to MGS2.

Actually, it's not so random. They follow a Lunar calendar over here. I believe it's only a 9 month calendar, but I could be wrong. It's amazing to see the locals sticking true to their religion and fasting for so long.

If the calendar is inaccurate, anything else that is not Ramadan could just fall on a random day. I wouldn't want that to happen.

Well, for one thing they really don't keep track of the years. I'm too lazy to Google anything right now, but according to the Muslim timeline, it's around 1420, I believe. Most of the local nationals don't know the year they were born, the day, or how old they are. I wouldn't say the calendar is inaccurate. They've been keeping to the calendar for over one thousand years now, and they're professionals at it.

I mean the Gregorian Calendar. I just had a dream that July was in a total different month and with July 7 on a Monday which is supposed to occur next year. It normally would've occurred one year after 1991, but 1992 was a leap year.

Oh, now I see. Well, maybe you were thinking about July without realizing it before you went to sleep. Or, you could have subconsciously been thinking about it.

Nope! I just came home from school and magically found a whole bunch of birthday balloons by my door. Then I realized today wasn't my birthday and I was never at school, on Thursday, I had a dream it was Friday, August 9, and my backyard was being used as a soccer or whatever field it was. My birthday was on Saturday anyway. If I had a dream it was on Friday, that would've been more appropriated, and because my sister already had birthday balloons by her door on her birthday. Anyway, someone told me they lost their ball and I had no clue where it came from so I threw it over the wrong way and a friend had to go get it, but none of that stuff actually happened because it was all a dream. I also had a dream it was my cousin's birthday, September 2 or September 3, and within the next few nights, I had a dream about it was February 29, that one day that only falls every 4 years, but when it's not February 29th and the same day of the year, which was originally February 29, it is either February 28 or March 1 to begin with, so in astronomy, there's really no such thing as a day that comes every 4 years. It is just an illusion.
