Well good news is we all have a place to stay now. Bad news is, right after you left the helicopter started getting close....sooooo azura made the decision to take off your hazmat suit while you were asleep. Juuuuuust in case. Built up the support on the house a bit too. We got a long way to go though. And Smokey's reinforcements draw near.

The world is just out to kill us. I just want to help farm up metal ore. *Follows azura to a cave that leads to a drop. Azura jumps is as I try to look down. I slip and fall into the cave. We both die with all agony with all our best gear.*.

Logging on last night our base extension was destroyed. So many materials. GONE! Smokey got his revenge.

So I decided since I had some time away. After some work on something important. I took a little break and got on Rust. Just to upgrade the base and maybe get some new gear and such. It went well....untiiiilllll. I saw what I thought was a dead bear

Chakra: *sees cave entrance* here it is. Wait....I-is that bear asleep?

*gets closer* it's not moving....is it dead. *gets closer again* what could've killed *trails off as the bear slowly gets up and starts to charge me* AHHHHHHH!

*quickly runs back again to get gun from inventory out and unloads nearly the entire clip into the bear in 2 seconds* AAHHHHH AHHHHH AHHHH! *pants at 13 ho and quickly pulls out medical syringe*

Bear.....wasn't dead at ALL! *proceeds to chop it into pieces for material and food*


Never expected THAT to happen xD

Hey, I haven't installed it quite yet and I'd like to try running through it a few times on my own so I'm not totally lost.

I joined one game/server and there were like twenty guys in tighty-whities running around with automatic rifles and machine guns shooting and spawn-killing each other in a total mayhem free for all. I died like ten times before even getting the chance to shoot at someone else, though eventually I gunned down a few other almost butt-naked men. Thankfully past FPS experience came in handy, though I have a feeling this is someone's ridiculous mod at work and isn't how the game usually goes considering what I remember from that video on the Steam product page.

My guess is it's meant to be more like a survival, build up a base, craft tools/gear/weapons and then fight other players kind of thing. If that's the case, well, I haven't gotten to that stuff yet, but I certainly know how combat typically goes! XD

Yah without a few friends it's insanely tough to progress while at the same time tough cause you all need food and water. We can try this weekend if you want. Relearn things myself and you both learn more with me.

Once you have a decent base together you're relatively safe, but it's still inevitable that someone is gonna come raid you while you're offline.

Some things came up and I don't think I'll be able to join you guys tonight. I'm thinking by the time I'd even be able to join after dinner and cleaning up all the Christmas stuff and other things that need to be done, it would likely be around 9:30ish and since you guys are starting at 8pm, I'd probably be way behind.

It's probably for the best considering I just don't have the kind of time that this game seems to need according to what you and Mike said. So yeah, don't wait up for me. Hope you guys have fun and hopefully no one raids you and stuff. :3
