Been playing Pokemon since Yellow which I found in a drawer on vacation once, but I really got into the series with Gold & Silver. Wanted to join a relaxed forum ahead of the likely busy year ahead for Pokemon. Can't wait to see what they have in store for us on the Switch!

I've been a fan of the series ever since it hit the states. Almost got out of Pokémon once, but after PMD released I've been hooked once more ever since. The Mystery Dungeon series is awesome! I'm super excited to see what they have in store for us on the Switch as well. Rumors floating around so far still, but it's all sounding really amazing!

It is, yes, but I also knew the moment I saw him making this pose in the anime I would make it my avatar on any Pokemon forums I joined. Haven't changed it since it aired.

Boy, that's tough. Probably Gen 6. 3D, mega evolution, trainer customization, plenty of choices for in game teams, etc.

You raise great points there, XY really modernised the Pokémon formula in a way that I didn't know we needed until we had it. One of my favourite things about the games is the great amount of choice you can get, so seeing that extended with a huge Regional Pokédex and even the ability to customise trainers was amazing. :)
