Team Ranks
Every Team has a rank! The order is Normal > Bronze > Silver > Gold > Platinum > Diamond. An increased rank will give you a better chance of recruiting Pokemon and may even allow you to access restricted areas.
All teams start on Normal Rank.
You can rank up by completing missions as the story goes on. You can also rank up by recruiting more Pokemon and winning battles!
Wild Pokemon Attack!
When a wild Pokemon attacks, you have a few choices:
> Battle - If you are not injured, you can battle the attacking Pokemon. You can send any of the Pokemon in your party into battle (write it out). The outcome of the battle is determined by chance, but there are parameters that will influence it. If you have a type advantage you should escape without injury. If you have a weakness you have a bigger chance of being injured. Defeat the Pokemon to secure the chance to recruit it.
> Reason - You can try to reason with the Pokemon. If it doesn't work, you may be injured. If it does work, the Pokemon may allow you to pass or even ask to be recruited. You will have to make a convincing argument to the Pokemon in order for it to choose not to attack (write it out).
> Run - You can try and escape... You will not be given a chance to recruit the Pokemon.
Being Injured - If one of your characters is injured, they cannot battle. You must come across a place to heal or use an item. You may also recover if enough time has passed (the story mod will let you know).
In all cases, feel free to be as creative as you like! Remember the story mod will decide the outcome of things, so you should leave your actions open ended. For example, finishing your post with a statement like "Jack waited to see whether the Abra would be too tired to get back up..." or "Alice tiptoed away, hoping she had managed to escape without being seen..." The story mod will then let you know if it was successful and do a recruitment calculation if triggered.
Your writing wil never negatively impact your chance of success, so no pressure! It can be as long or as short as you like. If you do something particularly cool or interesting though, it may improve your chances of a successful outcome!
Depending on the Pokemon, one method may be more likely to be successful than others. There may also be bonus actions you can complete to increase your chance of success, such as submitting a picture, drawing the Pokemon, writing a short poem or completing a puzzle. The story mod will advise you when this is the case.
Recruiting Pokemon
When you recruit a Pokemon, your Team Rank will increase. Level up your Team Rank to improve your chances of recruiting other Pokemon. Recruited Pokemon will be returned to the guild. Only special recruited Pokemon will be able to join you on your adventure. This will be noted at the Pokemon encounter.
Recruitment will be RNG. There may also be bonus actions you can complete to increase your chance of success, such as submitting a picture, drawing the Pokemon, writing a short poem or completing a puzzle. Your Team Rank will also help!
Posting
At the top of your post you should include the name and species of yourself and any party members currently with you, as well as your team name and rank. The Pokemon you have recruited and your team rank will be kept track of by the story mods at the start of this thread, but it's a good idea to check it sometimes to make sure nothing has been missed.
All standard RP rules apply, like you may only control your own character and can't be too overpowered. The story mod is in charge and what they say goes, so make sure you listen to their instructions!
Your posts may be as long or as short as you like.
The story mod will guide you through everything, so if you're not sure about something right now, don't worry. If your action is invalid you will be helped on how to edit it. :) No worries! Post first and ask questions later! ;)
Please wait until Rival Max has posted the introduction before posting. :)

I was never one to buy into the myth of ancient artifacts or the cursed items of power that I read about as a child. To me, all of it seemed relatively silly and superstitious. For several generations, stories were passed down through our guild warning us of the dangers of mishandling one of these items. The leader of our guild championed himself an expert of their uses and potential. The information on these items was drilled into our heads. I believe they did that to simultaneously stoke our imagination and squash our curiosity. Until yesterday I had no interest in even testing these items out to see if the stories were true. I firmly believed we as pokemon do not have right to destroy what others believe if they are not hurting anyone.
That is until the dark mirage swept through Marsh Valley and changed the rules of the world as we knew it. In the confusion and fear of our reality going haywire the pokemon resorted to acts based on fear. They turned against the pokemon they believed were responsible. Unfortunately for my family that was us. You see the villagers believed that this dark mirage had been caused by some sort of illusion we started. The elder zoroark, Fya, tried to convince the others it was not us but to no avail. They started to round us up one by one. I was the only one lucky enough to escape.
My escape was a matter of luck and great training. You see I am able to do something none of the other Zoruas are. I am a ditto, I was taken in by the elders and raised as one of their own. Only my sister and Elder Fya know that I am a ditto. I have lived most of my life masquerading as a zorua. This was because of an ancient conflict between Zorarks and Dittos. Which apparently had driven the dittos away from this land.
My abilities helped me escape the mainland. I headed to the caves located on the lonely Crystal Island. The caves there were only used for ceremonies. They were mostly barren other than the mystery dungeon that the elders had whispered about. I figured if something was capable of stopping all this madness it would have to be one of those items that I had questioned my whole life.
As I moved through the cracks that only a jelly-like pokemon like myself could. I had the feeling that Fya knew that one day I might need to do this. The collection of gems, stones, rubies, crystals, and orbs was pretty impressive. I searched around looking for just the right item. Before I could even find it one of the orbs in the center of the room started to flash. I rushed over to look at. The vision it showed scared me so badly I transformed back into My Zorua form. With my knees shaking I moved closer again hoping to see what was happening. As I looked closer at the orb, it showed a world plunged into chaos. It was clear that to stop whatever was happening I would need some help. But from whom I questioned.
Just behind me, a goldish orb started to glow brightly. I moved closer to inspect this second orb. This one I had recognized from the texts. This one was the Key Orb it was said to connect our world with others. I knew this might be my best bet to find help.
This was the last memory the little ditto, Mia, would have before being pulled through time and space. Her journey to find help took her into the human realm. In this world, pokemon were little more than a myth. The human society had taken the land and seas. The few pokemon species left were those that co-existed well in human habitats. Mia took the form of a human girl. She had been lucky to find old magazines scattered throughout the oddly abandoned park she had arrived in. Though the style was a little out of date her new form fit in fine. She searched this new world for creatures capable of helping.
Let us skip ahead now to the part that most concerns all of you.
-White Out-
The temperature jolts all of you awake. As you stumble around shivering in the cold dim cave confused and scared you realize something is off. Your flight or fight instinct kick in as you turn your focus to what is going on around you. The orb that had caught your attention was missing. The girl you knew as Mia was missing. So were all of your classmates. You were not alone though. In the dim light of the cave you can see creatures moving around. Out of fear or curiosity you move closer to see what you believe are pokemon. To your shock you find yourself mixed in with a group of different pokemon. Some of the pokemon looked familiar to things you had seen in the text book at schools, others you had seen in videos on youtube most of which had sadly gone extinct. Only a few of these magically creatures still lived in your world.
That however wasnt the biggest suprise. As the shock wore off you notice something about yourself...

Hurricane Alliance: Normal Rank (Not really formed yet)
I awoke with a shock, almost gasping.
I swore it was like a freezer in here and I first looked around, seeing nothing but dimly-lit, rocky cavern walls. How did I get from the abandoned amusement park to here, wherever the heck this place was!? My first thought was we had been kidnapped and now this was some kind of hostage situation.
I looked around, trying to get a bearing on where I was and what was going on. And I saw there were shadows and things moving around. Creatures I didn't recognize at first, but then I swore they were familiar with the limited light I saw. Pokémon. Or at least that's what I thought they were. I had recognized a few of them from old books and videos, but there were some of them that should have been extinct. Well, so much for that. Looks like they weren't so right after all. I hadn't seen too many of these Pokémon before, but every now and then we ran into them. It seemed really weird to have so many in this spot. A sight like this should have been pretty rare.
I decided to get up and maybe see if there was some explanation to this or a possible way out. And I almost tripped and felt smack on my face with what happened next!
It was the feet that I saw first. Man, I'll never forget that! Small white furry feet that were not mine, but... well, yes they are! How did the rest of me get coated with white fur and...!?
I stopped breathing for a moment while I realized I now had arm flaps with yellow fur on the front and dark gray on the back. In fact the back of my arms were gray now as well! And I now had... a tail. A brushy dark gray tail. And I could move it and swing it easily like it was nothing more than waving my hand! I had to force myself to breathe or I was just going to pass out. Maybe I was just dreaming. Nah, that would have just been denial!
I couldn't help but keep looking at these new features. Then I realized my ears were now large and rounded like a mouse and I even found out I had electric sacs in my cheeks and could discharge electricity. This... was insane.
Am I... I think... I think I might be an Emolga now...
I nodded, because that's exactly what I recognized it as. All the features akin to that flying, gliding sky squirrel. Yeah, I didn't have a mirror but I could see enough on my own to tell that had to be it! This was crazy!
But how!? Or even why? I tried to remember as much as I could and the last thing I remember hearing prior to this was "I'm so sorry but we really need your help." What exactly did I need to do? And was there a reason it had to be done like this? And who was that? Where did they get that crazy silver orb that floats on its own? Yeah, I knew I wasn't going to get the answers to those questions so I didn't really think about them too much. I could try to figure out that stuff later when the here and now stuff needed to be figured out first.
I just looked around, not sure if all these other Pokémon were those other students or if these were Pokémon that had always been as Pokémon and I was the only one who was now like this. In case it really was the later, I tried to shake off my shock and surprise and at least try to act normal, like a normal Emolga would in this situation. I had to take this as a "When in Rome, act as Romans do" kind of way. But that was a little hard considering I didn't really know much about how these sky squirrels really live! Well, I was sure they didn't exactly look like they were shocked and bewildered all the time, so I really had to shake that off and pretend like all this bewilderment was just me.
"Eh... heh, sorry," I smiled with a bit of embarrassment, speaking in this new lighter, almost cute-sounding voice as I was at least trying to pretend like me being an Emolga was totally normal and nothing out of the ordinary! "My bad, that was kind of a weird dream I had just now. Hey, anyone know where we are? I think I dozed off, it's been a long day."
There, just an innocent question to the rest of these guys, whoever they were. I was convinced whoever wanted my help needed me to have this disguise, so in that case, I needed to wear it well and not break concealment no matter who these other guys are. Would have been nice to get a heads up about it, but I could go along with it for now. There had to be a good reason for this. And well, of course, besides the fact that if someone told me "hey, you're going to be an Emolga, one of those electric gliding sky squirrels" right up front, I really don't think I would have immediately said "oh hey, yeah, sure, totally cool with that now, have at it!" Yeah, that had to be the reason why.

A cold reception
The shivering woke me. My body body was positively buzzing like a cell-phone left on vibrate. I tried to grab for my blankets but quickly realised that I was not in my bed.
Opening my eyes I looked around my environment. I was in cave. A really cold and dimly lit cave.
*Sigh* Another brilliant practical joke. Was it the Football team this time or maybe the Lacrosse thugs. Either way, I am sick of those sports-mad idiots playing their tricks on me. They were in for trouble now. I had hacked into their school accounts and know that both the captains of those teams are cheating. The Football captain is cheating on his tests and The Lacrosse captain is cheating in his girlfriend. Now all I had to to decide was which of them I wanted to anonymously destroy!
No! First of all I need to get out of here. This cold could cause hypothermia. I need heat. Looking around I spies a small flame behind me. I turned to face it. The flame moved to stay behind me. I turned the other way, and the flame moved again to keep out of my reach. I reached out with hands and saw the two tiny claws at the ends of each of my little arms.
"What the heck is going on!" I tried to say, but it came out as "Char Char Charmander!" I felt my face and discovered a bestial almost lizard-like head. The claws, the head even the flame behind me reminded me of the mythical, extinct creature I draw on the front of all of my note books. Had I become a Charmander?
'Ah, righto! Dream then! Might as well explore my subconscious while I am here!' Despite my realisation that this was all some weird dream I still felt the bitter cold. researchers has postulated that Pokemon of the Charmander family suffered from the cold and their tail flames needed to kept alight.
I wiggled my butt and found extra muscles leading down the flame at the end of my tail. after a few false starts I got the hand of moving the tail and brought the flame to my face. The flame was warm but it was flickering and weak. I breathed onto it fanning the flame a bit brighter and revelled in the extra warmth it brought.
I looked around the room flickering flame-light. I realised that it was filled with other strange Pokemon. Potentially dangerous foes. At my feet were a satchel and and a cool looking hat. I put the satchel over my shoulder and placed the hat on my head. it was a perfect fit. I then slowly backe =d towards the back of the cave looking for some kind of hiding place.
One of the weird Pokemon started talking in a cute voice "Emolga, emol emolga molga?" which somehow I translated to "My bad, that was kind of a weird dream I had just now. Hey, anyone know where we are? I think I dozed off, it's been a long day."
'Could there be two of us stuck in the same dream?' I looked at the strange creature. It looked like a flying mouse of some sort.
Not knowing was friends and who was foe I did my best to hide from everyone until I worked out exactly what was going on. I smiled a big grin. This was a mystery, and I love solving a good mystery!

i woke up in a dark cold place. My first thoughts were where the heck am i?
ok what is the last thing i remember? "we where near the sea on that island then something happend, And now i am here"
"IS THIS THE AFTER LIFE! DID I DROWN"... no thats stupid im stupid
I Tried to stand up but then "Why the heck am i so short" and then another revelation "Where are my arms".
After falling back down i looked down where my arms would have been only to find two stumps with pointy claws
A second attempt to stand up was made this time a lot more successful. There semed to be somthing else that help me balance
my heavier armless half on my rear.
i was already to freaked out to question it.
Next up i found that this dark space was cold but the cold mostly only hit my eyes like my body was coverd in a thick and hard armour
i looked around and saw two shapes moving about, one even produced light of some sort
though the light producing one darted away in a corner there was also a second one who started to talk
"My bad, that was kind of a weird dream I had just now. Hey, anyone know where we are? I think I dozed off, it's been a long day."
Thank goodness im not the only one here, maybe they know whats going on? cuz i certainly don't.
i walked up to them "Oh, im not the only one here, Any idea of what the heck is going on" though all that came out of my mouth was tyrunt-runt-runt.

Brandon the chimchar
Blue Team: Normal Rank
Brandon woke up shivering and cold. He opened his eyes and started to look around at his surroundings, and quickly became confused. He didn't seem to be in the amusement park anymore. Instead he seemed to be in some freezing cold, dimly lit cave. Brandon continued to look around trying figure out what had happened and how he got here, but the more he looked around, the more confused and shocked he became.
None of his classmates seemed to be in this cave, in fact, it didn't look like any people were, just pokemon, alot of pokemon. None of it made any sense, but he figured all he could was try to figure out where he was so he could figure out a way back to the amusement park. He stood up, intending to check for any possible injuries he may have sustained after happened, however, as he looked down at his arms he became downright confused and shocked. His arms were all hairy, like completely hairy, from his fingers all the way up to his shirt sleeve. They were even narrower then they were before! As he continued to sit there shocked and confused, he soon realized his legs and feet were the exact same way.
Now he was just downright confused! What was going on? Where was he? Why was his arms and legs so hairy? He was starting to panic now and shouted "What the heck is going on", however, all that really came out was "CHIMMCHAR CHAR CHAR". It was then he realized among all his confusion and panic that he realized that he was a pokemon, a Chimchar specifically from the sounds of it.
Now his brain was racing in 20 million directions with questions. How did he become a chimchar? Where was he and how did he get here? He couldn't think of an answer to these questions. He needed to figure out what he should do next, he started to scan the dim cave for a speck of light or anything that would indicate an exit, but couldn't see one. He figured the pokemon in the cave with him were wild pokemon who knew the area, so he decided that he would just wait and observe the pokemon in the cave with him, knowing surely at some point they must leave the cave to find food and stuff.
That decision made, he tried to sit down to observe, only to experience a sharp burning sensations when he did so. He stood back up and looked behind him and saw a small tail of flame. It was then he remmebered that chimchars had small tails of flame. Since he had no idea how yet how to control this new fire tail yet, he decided to just lean against the wall of the cave to observe instead. He walked over to the wall of the cave and leaned against it, watching and waiting for the pokemon to show him the way out.

Ross Heartwell the Pikachu
Team Vortex: Normal Rank
Slowly gaining senses back. I awaken to a cold and damp place. Cold enough it gives me a chill to my tail bone. Confused as to why I thought that. It suddenly hits me that we weren't at the amusement park anymore. My classmates had disappeared. Nowhere did I see any sight of the little girl.
A cool breeze blows past me. Chilling as it blows through my fur. Wait...did I just say "fur?!" What is going on I think to myself. I mean I'm a human! So why do I keep thinking things like "my tail" or "fur?" Looking more around my surroundings. It's so dimly lit I can't even see the paws in front of my face. Trying to ignore the fact I just said "paws" I try looking around. Noticing some movement from some small creatures. The sound of movement all around making my ears twitch to the smallest sounds as my eyes and ears are still adjusting to the new surroundings. How did I get here, or better yet, WHERE am I? .....wait a minute. That creature. Is that...what I think it is? Concentrating further, wanting to see it closer. "Man I just wish I could see it a little better!" I saw as I focus more. Feeling something surge through me. Almost like a static effect raise hairs on your arm.
As I do. Suddenly my surrounding area was slightly more illuminated. I could see it much better. "A Pokémon!" I exciting say to myself. Man this was amazing! Where ever I ended up. I'm seeing Pokémon around me I thought no longer even existed! This is incredible, I thought...until. I turned to my left. Seeing a shiny wall. More shiny than the rest. The illumination reflecting off the wall as I look at the wall. I notice another Pokémon. "Hey a Pikachu," I said aloud. Wait...it's mimicking me. Noticing the electricity sparking from the cheeks. That's me?! I turned into a Pikachu?! The surprise causes the sparks illuminating the area to stop as I lose my balance and fall on my back. Trying to get back up. It's noticably harder in this body...and paws.
Ugh...I can only get on all fours. In fact, it actually feels more comfortable than it was on two as opposed to moments ago. I think I'll stick to this for now. Until I get used to this body more. My lightning bolt shaped tail now hanging behind me. Man I'm gonna have to get used to this. It feels so...different. Suddenly you remember something. The last moment you were in that amusement park. "I need your help." Those words rang in my head. "OH YEAH!" Someone needed our help! Thing is...who? Where? What is it we even need to do?! If I was there. Then more than likely the others are here somewhere. Right? I couldn't have been the only one they were talking to.
Honestly looking around. I couldn't decide if I should approach these other Pokémon to even ask. Much less try to find the others. I wouldn't even know what Pokémon they were. I was only able to produce that electricity earlier without knowing it. I tried reproducing at and couldn't at will. I guess that was just my Pokémon instincts kicking in. Much like this tail that keeps moving on its own right now.
I sigh as I look back at my tail that mockingly taps my back. This is gonna be harder than I thought. As I get lower to the ground, still on all fours. Thinking about everything that's happened. So I'm a Pikachu. I've got fur now, a tail, paws, pointy ears, electric sacs on my cheeks, "my voice noticably has change" I say aloud as it's a little more like the way he remembers it from the show he used to watch with some boy he remembers. He just can't remember his name for some reason. Just a slightly bit different. Do all Pokémon of the same species sound alike? That's something I've always wondered. Maybe I'll find that out while I'm here....aha. I guess for now I'll just stick to this wall and get used to walking.

Lancelot Summers the Larvesta
Team Solaris: Noraml Rank/Not yet Formed
A chill ran though me as I returned to consciousness, causing me to go into uncontrollable shivering. I'd always hated the cold, and this was no exception. I slowly opened my eyes, and was confused. This didn't look like the amusement park. Instead, I appeared to be lying face down on the floor of a damp, chilly cave. Blearily I glanced around. Was that a fire in the corner? And that shape was definitely moving. I blinked a few time as my view came into focus.
It looked like a picture out of a fantasy novel; The cave was filled with various human-sized creatures of multiple different colours. The light I saw was indeed a flame, but it was attached to the tail of an gigantic orange lizard. There was also an equalily large yellow mouse-like being with what looked like electricity sparking from it's cheeks. They all looked kinda familiar, but my brain was still rebooting so it took me a moment to recognise them. They were giant pokemon, and ones that were thought to be extinct at that!
I tried to stand up, which was when I discovered that my legs had become shorter, and that there appeared to be a few too many. Alarmed, I glanced back at my body, and saw that it was that of an insect, more specifically like the larva of a moth. I blinked a few times, not quite beliving what I was seeing. I moved to feel my face, but found my arms had become short and stubby, just like my legs, and were unable to reach. My chest was now covered in a thick white fur, which from the feel of it ran all the way up my neck and covered my entire head, and though I couldn't see them, I could feel that five horns protruded from around my neck. I looked just like that pokemon in the mythology books. What was it called? A Larvesta?
A feeling of elation ran through me as I realised what this meant. I was a pokemon! I literally jumped 3 feet in the air for sheer joy, flames shooting out from the horns around my neck. As I landed, I sheepishly glanced around to make sure I hadn't accidentally burnt anyone, but luckily all I had done was create a few scortch marks on the nearest wall. Relived, it wasn't long before I found myself grinning. This was probably a dream, but how often do you dream about being an awesome fire-shooting insect? I was definitely going to make the most out of this.
Taking another look, I realised that the other pokemon weren't giant as I had first thought, they merely appeared that way to my now smaller form. I briefly wondered if I would be able to understand pokemon speak now, but my thought was quickly answered as as greyish squirrel looking pokemon let out a series of sounds that at a guess was an Emolga's language, yet I clearly understood that it was talking about about having had a wierd dream, and asking if anyone knew where we were. Strange, I guess I'm not the only one that's lost here. Various other pokemon spoke up, all of which also seemed confused about where they were, and how they got here. My mind whirred as a thought struck me. If this isn't a dream, and if I was turned into a pokemon, what if the same happened to the other students?
"Beats me. Last I remember, I was at an amusement park." I said, trying to casually hint at who I was without sounding crazy on the chance that I was wrong and these were random strangers. My voice sounded shriller and higher pitched through my new vocal chords, and it was mildly unnerving to have the sounds come out as pokemon speak, but I tried my best to sound confident, as though I'd always spoken like this. The effect was probably ruined by my incessant grin.
Starting to shiver again, I began bouncing on the spot, trying to keep warm as I watched to see what happened next.

Arden O' Conner [Archen]
Team Zephyr [Rank: Normal]
So cold... Arden shivered at the strange sensation. Her eyes flickered open to see a stony ceiling. What happened? It took a moment for her to remember... the ocean... the island... the strange girl... the orb...
Arden heard voices talking nearby. They sounded sort of familiar, but strange too... She sat up slowly. She couldn't feel any pain. But how had she got here? She looked down and almost jumped at the feathery protrusions shooting from every part of her body. The light was dim but she could make out the reds, yellows and blues in her new coat. She looked at her hands... claws... No way.... She was an Archen?!
She scrambled to her feet, feeling slightly off balance, she would have to get used to using her tail to hold her body steady. Wait... tail?!
Arden heard the voices louder now. She saw other Pokemon... creatures she recognised from books and TV... they seemed to be having a conversation. And she could UNDERSTAND them! Her first instinct was to run from them, but she wasn't sure she could handle that on her new feet just yet. She remained quiet, listening.
"Beats me. Last I remember, I was at an amusement park." Arden heard one of the Pokemon, a Larvesta say clearly.
Could these other Pokemon....be humans as well?! Were they the other students from the field trip?
"I remember the amusement park..." Arden said quietly. Her voice was light and chirpier than usual.

As I followed the other Pokémon, I realized it wasn't just me alone surrounded by "naturals." These really were the other classmates, and all of us were Pokémon now! I was mixed with the feelings here. On one hand, I wasn't alone by myself to figure all this out, but now all of us were in this together!? And I was really wondering what this actually was and what we were supposed to do! This had to be something BIG. There's no way that girl would be like "oh, I needed you all to become Pokémon and be warped to some unknown cave because I forgot to charge my smart phone last night and maybe one of you has another USB charger handy?"
I only recognized a few of the other species of Pokémon. The Pikachu for sure, same thing with the Charmander and the Chimchar, but I didn't know what the big-jawed lizard, the moth larvae, or the parrot-like prehistoric bird were. Although the fact they were saying their names as part of the Pokémon communication really helped a lot when it came to remembering them!
"I remember the amusement park..." the parrot-like 'Archen' Pokémon recalled.
It was so weird. We... I... we were all communicating like Pokémon, and yet somehow, someway, we knew how to understand it now! That was nuts! Really, this just kept getting better and better!
"That's it!" I exclaimed, realizing this Pokémon communication was just like second nature to all of us now. "So all of you are the other classmates! Wow, and I thought it was just me alone in this crazy mess! And hey, I'm Chris by the way. I know, I look... nothing like I did before, but I swear I'm the same guy that was riding the bus with the rest of you! It's me, just... small, cute, and a little extra squirrely now, but it's still me on the inside!"
If anyone thought this trip was going to be boring, surprise! This had to be the most interesting experience I've ever done. I looked around the cave, wondering just what brought us here and what the next plan of action was. And why here was selected as our destination. Why this cave in particular? I didn't really see anything that connected us to this funky place.
"Listen, we need to find a way out of here and hopefully figure things out," I told the others, thinking it might be time to navigate out of this cave. "My guess is this had something to do with that girl and that crazy silver orb thing we all saw. Say, it might not be such a bad idea to keep these disguises and pretend to act like we've always been Pokémon, because I think we're all well-aware this... whatever just happened sure doesn't happen all the time. But we need a special code phrase to make sure we can tell each other apart from any other Pokémon we come across. If you're not sure if who you're talking to is either one of us or one of them, ask them what toppings they'd like on their pizza. And since I've never met a Pokémon that can cook pizza, that's how we can distinguish each other from the naturals!"
I looked around the group, hoping that idea was brilliant enough! Unless they knew of a Pokémon that could do that. But hey, even if it didn't work, it was at least something I could adopt!
"Anywho, let's see if there's a way out..." I told them, checking along the walls. "Whoever that was wouldn't have gone through all this trouble just to turn us all into Pokémon and put us in a cave that had no way to get out!"
It wasn't too bright in here, but I think upon closer inspection, there had to be a path that led to the outside and to some fresh air. And maybe a little explanation as to what we were here for? Maybe. First on the agenda, fresh air.
After a little checking around the walls, I thought I found what seemed like a passage further into the cave, but where it would go... who knows, but it had to go somewhere!

Location: Mt. Freeza
The teleportation hadn't worked out how Fya had planned. They were definitely NOT where they should be. The world jump had caused the students to be disoriented. It was a side effect that Fya had experienced to a lesser extent. The first jump to their world had put her in a daze. As the others were getting adjusted she quickly blended in with the surroundings. Fya knew there was only one place in all of Marsh Valley that was this cold, Mt. Freeza.
When it came to interacting with the others her first response was to hide. She was scared of what the students might do or say so she stayed hidden. As the new pokemon started to adjust to their new reality. One of the pokemon, a Emogla spoke up, he suggested that the team find a way out.
"Wait.," Fya whispered
She froze in place so the pokemon couldn't see her.
You need to speak up! she said to herself
"Wait!" She called out, this time louder.
Fya transformed from a rock into an ice pokemon to fit her surroundings. The reflection from the light bounced off the cave walls. The little ice rock pokemon Bergmite appeared from behind a bigger rock.
" Don't be so hasty I didn't lock you in here. We didn't really arrive where I had planned." Fya said nervously

That sounded good to Brent. He hoped he could follow the mouse in the shadows and get out of here without being seen by anyone. This tail fire was going to make sneaking difficult though.
A Bergmite appeared from behind a bigger rock.
" Don't be so hasty I didn't lock you in here. We didn't really arrive where I had planned." the Bergmite announced to the group.
'So! The bergmite had planned to lock them in somewhere, but they had arrived in the wrong place' Brent thought to himself. The Bergmite clearly could not be trusted!
Brent shrank down into the shadows and looked around trying to figure a way out of this cave, before that Bergmite could trap them all.

Just when I thought I had found something that might lead to a way out...
"Wait," I heard a whisper.
I stopped for a moment and turned around curiously. Not sure who that was, so I thought maybe that wasn't aimed at me and thought it was for someone else.
"Wait!" the voice shouted louder.
Ooookay, that sounded like it really was meant for me!
I looked around and saw a moving ice rock. With eyes! Was that a Pokémon too?I didn't recall the name of it, but when she started talking, sounded like it was a Bergmite!
"Don't be so hasty," her Pokémon communication translated. "I didn't lock you in here. We didn't really arrive where I had planned."
So this little ice Pokémon was how we got here? Funky, I never would have imagined that. I thought it would have been one of those Psychic types I read about and this didn't really look like one of those. Did this Pokémon have something to do with that girl that brought us here and turned us into Pokémon? I was wondering if she was new to this whole turning people into Pokémon and teleportation thing. I was beginning to wonder maybe... some practice first would have been nice?
"Oh, my bad," I told her with a bashful smile before looking at her curiously. "Hey, so... what really was the plan you had? We might be able to help better if we know what's up."
Yeah, because until we knew how to go about doing this, we were good and lost. I mean, I didn't know where we were or where this gal wanted to take us to, but hey, I've been sidetracked so many times I was used to this kind of thing.

wait! everyone here were are classmates turned pokemon Gregory had already suspected it but at least now it was confirmed
speaking of classmates
"Oh hello Chris, names Gregory. We didn't talk much on the buss but nice meeting you".
Gregory tried to extend his arm for a hand shake but relized how short his forelimbs were and awkwardly pretended it didn't happen.
Chris started talking about pretending like we had always been pokemon with Gregory did not entirely agree on.
"Hey as far as we know everyone here are people from school so whats all this talk about disguises for. If there are actual pokemon that aren't you know us,
maybe they know all about geting us back. No need to jump to conflutions on theoretical creatures intentions. Also pineapple is by far the best pizza topping"
then an ice pokemon spoke " Don't be so hasty I didn't lock you in here. We didn't really arrive where I had planned."
"Oh didn't see you there"
It sounded like it was the one who brought us here
"Where were you planning for us to arrive? Well if it wasn't this cave then we should probably get out right"
While Gregory was not as suspicious about everyone like most of the others seemed do to is nature of trusting most people unless it was super mega obvious that they were shady he still wanted to get out cuz it was getting kinda really cold.
he took a couple stepps back from the walls of the cavern and then charged.
he ran at full speed at the wall hoping that becoming a pokemon would give him super powers and head butted straight in to it.
it did not have the results he hopped for the wall was still standing. Though supricingly he was not in incredible amounts of pain and only had a light headache
and also there was a small but still visible crack in the rock where he had gone for.
He sighed
"Welp i guess brute force isn't getting us out of here. Hey! some of you guys that are hiding is producing light right maybe you can lead the way like a
living flashlight. Though its totally cool if you don't feel like it"
He was really hoping small fire he saw a bit after awakening was what he suspected though the anxiety of making a fool of himself still made his shake a little.

That was not very comforting to Brandon and he got up off the wall and started to walk over toward the figure. The emolga asked what it needed our help for. Brandon also wanted to know, before it could answer a tyrunt charged the wall directly behind him, shaking the whole cave a little. Brandon facepalmed and thought 'What an idiot!'. Then he said outloud to the pokemon "Do you mind not doing that, are you trying to make the cave collapse? Then we will really be stuck here". Then the idiotic pokemon suggested something pretty smart, he suggested that the fire types led the way which made sense.
Brandon said "I am all for it, but I don't know how to control this tail yet, so you will have to make do with whatever light it is already giving off".

Hearing a voice eminate from nearby. Ross slowly makes his way following closely the wall as his eyes adjust to this darkness once more. The other Pokémon nearby this voice as well. Once he gets there. The group realize they are each other's classmates.
"Well since we're introducing who each of us are. Hey everyone! I'm Ross apparently turned into a Pikachu. Man...I need to learn to stand on my two hind legs. This is kinda weird eheh."
"Wow so, everyone here was from the class. This is incredible! Just how in the world would something like this be possible! I didn't know something like this kind of power even existed! I mean I've seen things like Bill and his experiments with getting trapped in the body of a Pokémon, but never humans completely turning into a Pokemon."
His classmate, the Emolga, Chris. Had exclaimed earlier we should find a way out. However, as the Bergmite explained. It hasn't worked out quite where she had planned and we weren't where we were supposed to be.
"So for now we should just follow you? How? I mean, we may be Pokémon, but we don't have much control yet! I can't even stand on two feet yet....or paws or whatever you call them. I think since I'm a Pikachu my tail used for balance. I just need to learn to control it. Harder than it looks aha. I can't even use my electricity at command yet. I managed to produce some by accident earlier, but I think that was my body's instinct in the dark." Ross thought as another one of his classmates mentioned producing light. Ross looked up at the others.
"Well I did manage to produce light earlier, but it was by accident. I could try again and see, but I'm not sure I can maintain it or anything. Well, here goes nothing."
Ross closed his eyes. Focusing on trying to produce any sparks from his electric sacs on his cheeks. Struggling to at will. With a sigh Ross looks down. "Sorry, no luck here. I'll work on it though."
Another classmate, one who became a Chimchar said something. "I am all for it, but I don't know how to control this tail yet, so you will have to make do with whatever light it is already giving off".
Ross looks over to him. Trying once more to stand on his hind legs, rocking back and forth s his tail swings to the side. Causing him to lose balance and land on all fours again. "Well for now we will have to deal with whatever we have. Which really isn't much. So any light at all is good. So long as no one runs off or gets lost. We should be fine! Unless this Pokémon that brought us here has some other plan for us to get out of here."

The cold slick rock walls made for a perfect holding cell. The thick icy formation crossing each other in just a way to block most of the exits. Some of the new pokemon tried their best to to break free of the ice room but quickly found that at thier current stage it was impoisslbe. Others however strated to gather in hopes they could figure out a plan together. When Fya appeared to them in the form of a bergmite she was forced to expose herself in a way. Fya tried to stay clam despite the fact that right now she looked awful suspicious.
She paused trying to respond in a way that didnt strees the poor new pokemon out.
" We were supposed to transported to the Crystal Lake Caves on a much warmer island. I know I have a lot of explaining to do but please trust that I did not bring you here to harm you. I will explain everything as soon as we are free. Right now we are in real danger and Im going to try my best to get you all out of here. My mentor taught me a few tricks that should help."
Fya closed her ice and started to contentrate. A few moments later the once tiny ice type transformed completely.

The new form was that of a ice type Sandshrew. She shook off the ice and quickly headed for the weak point in the rock wall. She started to dig feaverously until she had cleared a path big enough for even the tyrunt to get clear. Once threw the wall the pokemon had the chance to follow her or find another path.
" Please follow me this way" She said moving through the cave in the direction she believed would get them clear.

Arden remained quiet while the events unfolded in front of her. The Bergmite was the one who transported them here? And it then transformed into a Sandshrew?
At one point, Gregory the Tyrunt tried to slam into a wall to free them. It didn't work, but Arden thought it was quite brave. She smiled shyly at the dinosaur Pokemon, impressed at his strength... at least she hoped it looked like a smile. After all, she appeared to have a beak now...
Meanwhile, this transforming Pokemon seemed to be responsible for their own transformations, and while so far she had only transformed into two small ice types, Arden was cautious about what else this magical Pokemon could become... was she even a real Pokemon, or a transforming human like them?!
The Sandshrew broke through the cave wall, giving them a chance for escape into the myriad of tunnels. " Please follow me this way" she said.
Arden was in no hurry to wander off on her own. She looked to the other Pokemon... erm... humans to try to get an idea of what they thought of this newcomer.
"I know we're apparently in danger, but, before we follow you... what is your name at least?" Arden asked the now-Sandshrew. "And are you a human too?" Arden had a bunch more questions, mostly about the transforming... Arden wouldn't mind transforming into something a little warmer.

As I realized, not everyone was crazy about the disguise idea! Aww, I didn't think it could hurt, really.
But we were still kind of lost. And every time I thought I found a nifty way out... nope! Just ice. Well, so much for that idea. I couldn't really see too many ways out of here!
The Bergmite told us she meant to take us to Crystal Lake Caves on a much warmer island, but I didn't know where that was either. These places just didn't seem too familiar. But she told us bringing us here was totally unintentional and that we were in big trouble. Well, that sure sounded awful.
And then she turned into an ice type Sandshrew! What the!? I mean, that was cool, but how? Then she dug a tunnel through the wall and signaled us to follow. I kind of shrugged and decided to go along with it because well, I was chilly and I didn't think I was going to find a way out of here on my own. And well, this definitely seemed faster.
The Archen asked this transforming Pokémon about her name and if she was human too, and while that was on a cool-to-know basis, yeah, I was just shivering. I wrapped my arms around my chest so these nifty cape flaps were used like a blanket, but yeah, I needed something a little more than that, but it worked for now!

*GM Note ( I tried to wait long enough for more people to post. I will post more frequently to keep this thing moving. Sorry for the delay. )
Fya didnt really enjoy the new found attention. When the rock flying type started asking questions she found herself with no other option but to answer them if it helped the others trust her enough to follow her out.
" My name is Fya, no I am not a human. You are as foreign to me as I imagine I am to you. My true forum is one only a few of my closet friends and family have ever seen." Fya sighed and finally transformed momentarily into her real form. A small pink ditto.
" I am a ditto. I am the only one of my kind left in this part of the world. My whole life I have had to pretend to be another pokemon because even though my pokemon are kind. Dittos are banned and unwanted because of bad blood and a long history. My normal form is this." She paused
Transforming one last time before finally sticking to her normal form.
"When I was little one of the elders found me and taught me to take the form of her family. We are the Zorak family and most of my family is Zoruas just like this. When our world started to go crazy the others out of fear pointed at my family because we are known as the illusion pokemon. Now plase follow me and we can get out of this cold cold cave."
Fya stayed ahead of the group leading out of the winding cave. When they reached the outside they were greeted with harsh realitiy that they were not going to be getting home anytime soon. Things were only made worse as cold harsh winds from the near by mountains hit them.
Fya had seen this place only once before and that was years ago. She had heard many tails that these mountains were haunted.
Just behind them the walls that had seemed set started to shake and crack. Rock pokemon that had layed dormat started to break free of the icey walls. The boldore which had been a normally peaceful pokemon looked much different. Its eyes glowing deep red.
http://www.pkparaiso.com/imagenes/xy/sprites/animados/boldore.gif
"We need to move now!" Fya said to the others using her claws to grip onto the slick icy surface of the rocky path.
No sooner had they reached the pathway out of the mountain when they noticed dim red flashes moving around in the distance in front of them. It appeared that someone or something was looking for them they no choice but move forward. The dark Boldore were now slowly advancing on them.
As they were forced to move the flames grew brighter. Whomever they were they were here now. Not knowing what to expect. Fya got in front of the students.
"Get behind me!" She growled. Her tail and fur stood up to make her look more threating.
" Show yourself whomever you are! If you have come with bad intentions I assure you that you have made a grave error!" She hissed
The light grew brighter until finally the pokemon search party was in sight.
" Fya ?" one of the voices said
A Pancham said walking forward.
" Thank goddness we found you. We were sent here to resuce you! Please come with us." He paused
"I dont recognize your friends." He said taking a hard look
Fya had a sigh of relief
" Morty! I am really happy to see you. I can explain everything after we get my friends here out of the cold and off this cursed island."
Morty turned to the other pokemon.
" You heard the lady! Now please help her friends safly down the path." he said making his way to Fya

As the pokemon started to dig their way out of the cave, someone asked the pokemon who seemed to bring them here if she was human. The pokemon stopped digging and explained how she was a Ditto pokemon that was forced to transform and live as a different form because where she is from they don't like Dittos. That made Brandon wonder what kind of strange world they were entering. Was it all pokemon? Were there people? Was there some type of war going on between people and pokemon or something? This is what Brandon kept thinking about as the pokemon dug them out of the cave.
After awhile of digging and walking, they finally reached the outside of the mountain/cave. It was still brutally cold though, because there was wind blowing down on them from the mountain.
They didn't have time to think about that for long though, because a boldore pokemon started to move toward them and the group had to quickly move away from it.
It seemed someone was trying to follow them around though, because the group could see flames advancing on them. When it became apparent they couldn't out run the party, the new pokemon called Fya said to get behind her and she started to growl. Brandon also wanted to make it seem like he knew what he was doing and growled from within the group.
It turned out to be friends of Fya or something and a bunch of pokemon apprached them to guide them off the mountain.
The pokemon that approached Brandon was a Pipulp, as it got next to him he reached out his paw and said "Hi my name is Brandon, nice to meet you. Are you here to guide me off the mountain? If so, lead the way cause I am ready".
Brandon waited for the pipulp to respond or show him the way.

Fya! So that was her name! She mentioned she was a "Ditto," whatever that was. But then she showed us and it kind of reminded me of bubble gum, but with a face! Kind of an odd little bugger, but I just smiled and shrugged.
Turned out they had been really disliked and hunted down. Well geez, that was a big bummer. I didn't see what the big deal was. She gave us a small history lesson, right before we were attacked! By the crazy evil Boldore, which were these crazy rock monsters! Wow. My day's never uneventful, is it!?
We ran, we followed Fya as closely as we could, dodging rocks and mayhem like the whole world was coming to an end! Okay, maybe it wasn't that bad, but things were really getting dicey, and fast!
And that was went we ran into Morty, the little panda guy. I was a little on my guard after what just happened, but it seemed like he was a friend of Fya's. I had to take a sigh of relief.
Whew. It seemed like we were safe now, but I couldn't help but look around and just be mesmerized by the cold, rugged landscape. Man, it looked like there wasn't a trace of civilization for many miles!
"Hey there," a friendly-sounding voice talked to me.
I turned around and saw I had been greeted by a fiery looking fox! I think the actual name for it was Fennekin, unless my head was still woozy.
"Oh, hey!" I greeted her. "Name's Chris! Nice to meet you, but wow, what a place for such an occasion!"
"Ha, ha, you're funny!" she giggled. "My name's Naomi. I was guided by Fya to meet the newcomers here and help them find their way to the boat. I'll show you where it is, but we need to rush because they're expecting the wind to pick up and the temperatures to drop. It's only going to get even colder."
"Ooh yeah, we'd better go before that happens," I told her, nodding at that brilliant suggestion.
I then followed her down the snowy path and I could see in the cold, frost air that a few snowflakes were starting to drift down. Yeah, that looked like it was a sign this place was going to get pounded by a blizzard real soon. And I wasn't too crazy about getting frozen out here!
Most of the rivers and lakes had been frozen over, but there was one area where it was still water, though I could imagine it was hypothermia city if someone fell in.
Naomi showed me where the boat was, and while it wasn't a lovely yacht, it was a welcome sight to see a ticket out of here. It was made of wood and looked like it had seen plenty of voyages before, but hey, I wasn't going to complain! The two of us climbed on board and get cozy.
"Whew, thanks for that!" I told Naomi with a warm smile. "I'd treat you out to dinner, but... not sure what happened to my wallet or all the nearby restaurants."
She laughed and I got a kick out of that!

After listening for some time, Ross just continued following. Listening to what Fya had to say.
(So, Fya is a Ditto. Ross continued watching. Trying to learn more. This whole situation is still so bizarre to the once humans. I mean, Ross can't even stand on two legs yet. Though soon enough I'll be able to), Ross thought.
The story they heard about how they were hunted down and just very disliked really soured the mood. The fact how someone can be so disliked for a reason and hunted to a point of extinction.
Soon enough, our fears were brought to fruition. We were being attacked!
Ross tried staying as close to the others as Fya instructed. Following closely behind everyone. Managing to dodge a few close hits from the Boldore attacking them. Those red eyes they had. Ross just feels those deep red eyes make them feel way more menacing. Though being an electric type. It's not like Icould do much if I even HAD control of these moves. URGH! I can't stop to think. We have to get away!
Suddenly we found some kind of....panda? Ross really didn't recognize this one. Though it seemed friendly. So we all took a sort of long deep sigh of relief.
Ross decided to walk to the side a moment. Taking a moment to close his eyes and take another deep breath. Then trying to push himself onto his hind legs. Kind of wobbly, but standing. Taking small steps forward as he gets used to walking on two hind paws.
"Man, this is really gonna take some getting used to. This feels so different!"
"Yeah, I'm sure it's tough after running for so long, but never fear! We're here to help guide you to safety now!" a mysterious voice calls to Ross.
"Name's Luna! Nice to meet you! What's your name? What's your favorite food? Mine's Perfect Apples. Something about them. They're just so.....PERFECT!. I think I'm getting ahead of myself. I tend to talk too much sometimes.
Ross just kinda laughs a little as she stares back at him with a bright face. She's a Mudkip and a bit hyper, but she seems super nice!
"Name's Ross!" Ross says as he takes her paw in his own. I...I um can't really say just yet. Kinda still trying to get with everything that's happened.
"I'm Luna! Nice to meet you Ross! You look like a totally STRONG Pikachu! Glad to be able to help you guys. I'll be the best guide you could ask for! You can count on us!" she said
Ross chuckled, "Thanks Luna. We appreciate the help you guys have given us. To think what might have happened had you guys not been here to help. It leave me with quite a chill after everything that's happened."
"Weeeeeeeell it IS about to get MUCH cooler soon. Winds will pick up. So we will only feel more of a chill as that approaches. I say we need to move on before that happens. Fur will only keep you so warm, heheh!" she lightly smiled at Ross.
We made our way to the boat. No matter how big it was. Ross was relieved to be somewhere safe for now. Being more used to walking on two feet makes getting around a little easier. Still slower than he'd like to be, but it'll happen in time.
"Hey, Luna? Thanks again for being so friendly to me here. I'm glad to have made such a good and trusting friend here so quickly. Maybe soon enough I'll be back on two feet again.
"Sure you will! After we get a much needed rest I'm sure you'll be back on two feet in no time! Me? I gotta stick to all fours. I mean I could try, but..." She tries getting up on her hind legs and falls to her back. Laughing as she rolls over to her belly. Ross laughs with her.
"Yeah, stick to what you need to. I'll surely be better on two feet soon enough. Thanks Luna" Ross said

"Okay, why am I in a refrigerator?"
That was my first thought as I regained consciousness in an unknown territory. Soon enough, I did catch on and realize that I was not in a refrigerator; however, I was in a very cold area. My eyes shot open, and as they did so, they widened.
I was not at an amusement park. There was no way they would have the air conditioning on this high. I was in a dimly lit cave. But it wasn't just me. There were others in it with me. As their images came into focus, I was able to identify them as... Pokemon? The fictional creatures I had only seen on a TV? There was no way...
But that was definitely an Emolga. That was definitely a Tyrunt. That was definitely a Pikachu. There is no mistaking a Pikachu. The first emotion that came to me was fear. Did they trap me here? Are they going to do something to me? But if they were going to hurt me, surely wouldn't they have done so already?
It seemed that I was safe. At least, from these... Pokemon. It felt really strange referring to a real-life image as a Pokemon. But that was not my biggest surprise of the first five minutes after I became conscious.
It came as I tried to stand up. Standing up wasn't really a thing. I was standing on all fours. Something weird was going on. Last I checked, I wasn't a dog. I walked in a circle for a few seconds. Those were definitely four feet. I felt fear again, and started shaking a little bit. I let out a whimper that sounded strangely like a noise a Bulbasaur would make.
Wait. What? Why did that sound like I was a Bulbasaur? I exclaimed the question "Huh?" just to test the waters. That was not my own voice. That was a grittier, harsher voice. My suspicions were getting bigger. I turned my head around, and my heart almost stopped at what I saw.
It was a bulb.
I had become the first Pokemon in the National Pokedex.
No. How is that even possible? Pokemon aren't even real! But that was a silly thing to think, after looking back at the other Pokemon in the cave. They seemed to be walking away, now.
The only way I was going to figure out what was happening was by following them out of this ugly cave. I stumbled for a second. Still needed to get used to walking with four legs. I was able to regain my balance and follow them out of the cave, step by step.
Jeez, this cold can't be good for a Bulbasaur...
