They're awesome. Even if they make a mess, I have to laugh at how they just look up to me with a cute face that almost says "me? I didn't do that!"

Well I'll be going to Nashville in August. Hopefully attending the Pokemon Worlds. Just gotta find out if there's an entrance fee and I'll be set.....also assuming they approve my days off at work. If not...I'll be talking to them about this one. Should be fun!

It's even more funny that even though how bad they are at predicting the weather. They've tried making it so the weather channel app tells you exact times it will even hit.

Hmmm....I gotta plan a few things before August gets here. Like what else to do in Nashville. Probably get some new glasses, phone charger for on-the-go, etc. gotta be prepared....might even try the "last chance qualifiers" for Pokken if I can get in. I mean I have lost my record as undefeated with Pikachu against some players, but I'm still in pretty good standings.

I tried to balance it where writing and art sections happened in both halves. So instead of writing for both Creative Writing and RP at the same time, it was evened out. Same thing with Drawn Art and Comics (because trying to do both at once was near-impossible, at least for me).

So far, I think the section swap thing is working perfectly, because I see more participation going on in the sections and it gives Judges three weeks to work with, but keeps PXFIRE going on for a nice amount of time so the Judges don't hit a point of boredom or burnout.

Yup, just my stock Motorola Moto G with data. It was definitely more annoying than doing it on a computer, but it still wasn't bad, IIRC.

Yeah, it kind of went the way of the fad. Trying to get three stars on every level was a crazy tough challenge though, but you could unlock some pretty funny stuff if you did it.

I think Clash of Clans is going out, also. Eventually that hits a point where if you don't spend money, you'll just keep getting whipped.

Yeah, we had a whole little clan going on among my brother's circle of friends, but it never really took off into anything major.

It was fun for a while, but the problem is upgrading becomes so expensive after a while and if you keep getting your resources pillaged, you'll never be able to afford them.

They added some new things to help with that over the last year apparently. While also taking away a good way to farm off of shields. So it kinda equals out to bad again. I would like to try to start playing it again soon though....one day xD

Oddest thing about one mobile game I played. In Unison League, you can summon monsters and if people match elements, you pull off a stronger summon monster attack (a Unison). The game encourages this the very second you start playing and learn about how these things work.

People were whining when people matched elements because they were too impatient to watch this monster attack animation. THAT'S THE OBJECTIVE AND THE NAME OF THE GAME! Well, it's been well over a year since I last played it, so I'm kind of wondering if this is still going on. Still, these people need to go play another RPG if they don't like this feature of it!

Well, I've seen Unison League played, and honestly, watching the damage numbers on a raid boss or something, an enemy that's high up there, the monsters usually did more damage individually than the Level 4 Unison attack. So the Unison really does just clip seconds off the clock, that you could be using to wail on the big bad.

Ahh. I mean I guess to each their own. The show is somewhat long, though I think we are reaching the end of it after so long. It's been running since I was like... a sophomore in high school I think. I didn't actually pick it up until it was three seasons in and it's been a roller coaster ever since. The story is quite original in its concept, though there are a few other shows that are similar but not quite the same. The main thing that makes this show stand out from the others is that it is a kids show. For the most part it's very childish, with fluffy episodes all around as best shown with this recent release, where 3 out of the 5 episodes were totally just cute fun stuff. But on the flip side, if you're old enough to understand the nuances, the show actually tackles some pretty tough topics. The most obvious one being that the gems are all female which means the ones that are in a relationship together are lesbians, and it handles that quite well when the censorship isn't involved. But it also discusses things like abusive relationships, growing up, and other things that aren't G rated so I can't mention them here through the use of the concept of fusion. While the art style isn't the most consistent and it does have a fairly long run (with the first season some fifty episodes alone), it has its serious moments and a great plot. And while the major plot twist of the show was predicted by a majority of the community fairly early on, the creators did really well to throw us off the scent, thinking it couldn't be possible. Overall, while the first season is mostly filler until you get the last couple episodes, I think the show is worth watching. It's got a fairly lovable and unique cast with memorable side characters and a notable passage of time, something I feel a lot of children's shows tend to lack these days.

Yeah while Undertale doesn't take quite the same path as Steven U does just due to the nature of their story telling, PMD and Steven U are actually quite similar in their story telling methods. You start off with mostly cutsy filler with not too much seriousness going on but as you draw closer to the end more and more serious episodes start showing up.

Personally I like the AUs. Not all of them are excellent, but I've always been a fan of AUs in general so watching and reading different AUs is entertaining.

That's part of the reason I really enjoyed Pokémon Conquest. It had so much content beyond the main story that it made the game hours of unending fun.

Yep. That was the first game that really made me want to do a comic for it. I still remember the storyline and everything! Course if my comics score this week is anything to go by I’ll probably never be good at comic making so it’ll be a distant dream probably forever. But at least I can still play the game and dream.

But my art just doesn’t improve at the same pace as everyone else’s. I don’t have the talent and despite what everyone says, work ethic doesn’t make up for it.

Besides, I live in a household that thinks my artistic pursuits are a waste of time. Does wonders for motivation as you can assume.

You know, and don't take offense to this...but I've always heard women have trouble keeping warm in the winter. Like say when women say they're cold, they usually are. It's primarily because of how the female body is to protect the reproductive organs. To help keep those safe and working properly. Especially so when pregnant. See the cold does that to me. If I'm cold I get sleepy but I can't sleep. I don't feel like moving or doing anything. My only real instinct is to curl into a ball and preserve as much warmth as possible.

It's below 65 in the lab I have to work in all day every day. =) It's freezing and miserable. We have sweaters, blankets, gloves, hats, etc. Best part is coming in from the 100 degree outdoor temperature. It's cold in here to keep the servers and computers from overheating as often.

Yeah, below 65 degrees. My preference is around 70 or 75. I only start to overheat when it gets above like 105 like when it did on Fourth of July this past year. Granted in computer labs and stuff it's easy to layer up but that doesn't help much. The previous office I worked in kept it about 52 and I was dyingggg. The difference between that office and this one I'm in now is that we aren't allowed to bring in heaters or layer up or anything because it's not business appropriate.

I like warmer times, but only because my circulation is cruddy and my hands and feet are around 5 degrees colder than the rest of my body. Otherwise, I dislike having to sleep without no covering whatsoever. I need my blankets trying to weigh down and crush me dammit!

Here in the south. There's no such thing as spring or fall. Only summer. Well most recent years. Last year was the first actual winter in years. Two years ago I remember going to the family Christmas parties in upper 80s. So shorts ad short sleeve shirt. It's awful (not intended for those in the southern hemisphere. It's just unnatural when you know it's supposed to be one thing, but it's not). Here in the northern hemisphere it's supposed to be cold during winter and that time. Not hot and humid here. If I had the money and lifestyle I'd live in the northern hemisphere in winter months and move south during summer for more winter xD.

Lydia asked me how big it was and in all reality it didn’t look that big but I couldn’t resist and said “oh it was huge. Depending on where you live it can be. Places like New York City and Los Angeles in California. Unless you have an AMAZING job that pays really well. Expect to go broke in a couple of days.

I kind of liked it where I stayed. Though you know in hotels they got mostly sound proof walls and windows. That and the higher up the harder it is to hear. I enjoyed my time up there even if it was cold and rainy most days.

I guy I watch on YouTube lives there and talks about all the time how he "lives in the hood." So you hear police sirens in almost every video. Random occasions you hear random bangs which he actually comments on. Not all of NYC is like that. It can be quite curious though.

Just to update everyone too. I'm at the hospital with my sister. She has an infection in her left kidney. She's on liquid antibiotics for 24 hold at the hospital, but no new information yet. Just gotta wait it out from here.

Bulbasaur yeah if I had to drive into NYC I think I'd be the cause of MASS traffic. It's already bad enough and LITERALLY bumper to bumper. . Like not even an inch in between most.

I agree with the notion that NYC is great to visit and very occasionally I go there for events and such, but most of the time, I don't really hang over there. But yeah, I wouldn't want to live there. Even in those high-class apartments.

Would be even more nice to be able to travel the world without a care in the world. That'd be a nice dream.

Same. I don't travel much just because of how expensive it is. That and I usually have a lot of junk to do on a regular basis.

Traveling is a love/hate thing for me. Love cause it's fun and a nice change of routine. Hate cause it's expensive and I lack the mythical thing called 'free time' that is required to travel.

If expenses weren't a problem and I could go anywhere I wanted free will with no repercussions. Yeah I'd love to. Other than that, without the money that'd be tough. Short of winning the lottery, I don't see it happening so easily. Then again, who knows. Sometimes surprises come out of nowhere. Literally.

Yes, I would love to travel! I've only left the country once and I haven't been further west than Lancaster, PA (which is two hours from me). The last five vacations have been in the state and while Ocean City is nice, I really want to travel. Part of the reason I want to be in a successful band is to tour.

I dunno, I like my staycations too much. Sure, traveling is cool every once in a while, but I'd rather just relax and take it easy. No packing, driving, or getting on a plane.
