Winter Carnival Egg Chain
Scavenger hunts are so last year! This year, it’s EGG HATCHING time! It's so cold outside, help is needed to hatch Pokemon eggs! In this thread, your job is to claim an egg, hatch it and then come back for more! But there’s a catch… The Ditto taking care off all the eggs is very particular about what kind of egg you can have…
At the end of the event, the person with the LONGEST egg chain wins!
For each egg you hatch, you will earn 10 coins.
The person with the longest egg chain (most eggs hatched) at the end will receive a bonus 50 coins!
Since this is the winter carnival, the person with the most ICE types at the end will also receive 50 bonus coins!
Here are the rules!
1. Post here to claim an egg of a specific Pokemon species. Every egg takes 10 posts to hatch.
2. Once you have posted 10 times anywhere around the forum and hatched an egg, come back and claim another! The name of the new Pokemon you choose must start with the final letter of your previous Pokemon. For example:
I chose Bulbasaur as my first egg/ Bulbasaur ends with the letter R. My second egg must be a Pokemon that starts with R, such as Rattata. My next egg must then be a Pokemon starting with A, such as Aerodactyl… and so on!
3. Keep track of your eggs and post numbers in this thread. You can make a stats post and keep updating it if you like, whatever is easiest for you. You do not have to wait for approval when selecting a new Pokemon egg.
4. All Pokemon are allowed including legends, but eggs match hatch into their most basic form (no evolutions).
5. If Ditto is very pleased with your egg hatching, you may just be notified that your egg will hatch into. a shiny Pokemon!
To start hatching, just post this form, and go!!! No approval necessary.
I will be keeping an eye on everyone’s numbers and will double check them at the end of the event when coins are handed out.
