Now that PE2K is sadly gone (at least for the time being) I thought it would be nice if all of us talked about some our favorite memories.
So please feel free to post some of your favorite pokemon.

Oh, gosh, so many many memories... ;^;
My first experiences with Pe2k were with the Fan-fiction boards. It really there where I learned to refine my writing and see what works and doesn't work with writing. ALSO. CHARACTER CHAT. SO MUCH LOLZ. Oh, gosh, that place was sooooo fun!
I also had a good amount of fun in the RP boards--although after a while it started eating up too much of my time. But I made some really awesome friends through RPing there! :D
WAR was always so fun, too! My favorite WAR memory was when I joined the Eggman Empire and helped the team rise to the (near) top!!! YOU GUYS. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. YOU'RE AWESOME ;^;
One of my favorite last memories of Pe2k, though, was the Wi-Fi League. It was so fun that I could RP (at my own pace) AND play my Pokemon games AT THE SAME TIME. There was so much LOLZ there. So much <3 I still owe Eti for nearly getting me arrested on my first day xD
I miss GCEA Red and Silver so much, but I'm really glad we were able to move GCEA here! ^^

I think my most favorite one was the moment I realized I didn't suck at Role Playing anymore.
Yes, there existed a time where I sucked and was a noob.
Other than that, -all- of them were my favorite.

Ah the memories! Probably WFL with Jaye, when our characters torched the top of the lighthouse. And broke an old mans car windscreen. And torched heaps of trees. Geez we caused a lot of havoc Haha

Whenever PE2K was very active, and I aligned very well with its members (mostly moved on in life).
Aside from my brief rant of the past, I would have to say a pivotal moment would be whenever PE2K separated from its relationship from PokeCommunity back in the day.

The RP section, when it was active. The War RPs before participation started to dwindle. The Wars in general. The posts. I never thought the site would go down, so I didn't save very much. I lost a character form I had wanted to save, and the site went down the day that I needed it which was such horrible timing. The URPG when I was active. The people of course, most of which I care about have come here.
RIP PE2K: 2000 to November 24, 2013.
605 Last thing I was doing. I literally clicked to open War XI RP SU to retrieve Omega, and the site wouldn't load anymore. :(

The PSG8. It's the reason why I even joined the forum at all. It was awesomesauce in Pikachu form-and I say that because 100% of my game was spent as a Pikachu. That seriously needs to come back. I was a total n00b then, but I loved it all the same and the PSGs were just made of awesomesauce. IT WAS MADE OF AWESOMESAUCE I TELL YOU!!!
Outside of that, Pe2k's KOTH (or at least the most recent one)-Over 190 pages of awesome. Highlights include the founding of Team Gold-Nytro, the detonation of a Pika-Flu WMD, and the destruction of invincible plexi-glass. My last post on the site was actually in response to seeing most of the forum being overrun by spam, specifically on the KOTH thread. I also claimed the hill there one last time. (AKA, I Win. :D). I'm very happy that the PxR KOTH thread got some life breathed into it.
Both aside, the original GCeAs. Dear lord, Gold and Silver ended prematurely-SO MUCH PLOOOOOT to do that you'd have your minds blown. Granted, the way things are going it seems that Ruby and Sapphire (and Emerald) are going to live, which is good.

Probably the PE2K WFL, more specifically the older one (both were awesome!). It's where I met my best friends, Tenacity and Kaoru. I also of course met some other awesome faces, like Pokemon Trainer Sarah, dj-tiny, Steak, and many more. I'll never forget it. :)

My favorite part of PE2K were the WAR's we would have. That was always fun and to see the different groups people would join.

Wow, Crimson is around. Nice. I remember having some heated discussion with that guy in the past. :3
My favourite memory was when I dueled Harry Kim atop Mt. Iceberg in a battle that shook the foundation of the world. The match was intense, and involved many yu gi oh references, pokemon references, and impractical amounts of bad dancing. It was a sight truly to behold upon the world, but it was never to be seen or mentioned...until now.
War 5, when I blew up the world, and EVERYBODY had to adapt to the shenanigans I was doing. People were wtfing so hard that it became one of the most memorable war RPs.
TMA, Mordor Quest, and that guy who, after like 5 years, found pe2k like a week before its demise, and established a connection with me via other means. Talk about sheer luck. Other members of TMA? Well, who knows where they'll go?
getting perm banned and ryan lifting it after 2 years HA

My favourite memory from PE2K was when I made a very believable April Fools day joke about impregnating an underage girl and saying goodbye to the forum as I was likely going to jail. Still can't believe so many people believed that.

Can't really pick a favorite memory. Met some pretty cool people, and I've stayed in contact with a couple. It was interesting to look back on my posts and see how much I grew between the ages of ~13-17.
But I mean, the time I spent in The Metal Legion ruled. Especially when I rebooted it after Red left. Back when Dead End King was the annoying "the".

My most favorite memory would have to be the WDYLL? thread and the battle boards. I made one of my closest friends through those and I couldn't be more grateful to have such an awesome person to have my back when things go awry.

Hard to pick one memory I can say was my favorite.
I mean, I was responsible for founding The Dark Council, which was the longest running and perhaps most successful club on PE2k, existing continuously from 2003 right up until the end of the forums. That was pretty cool, especially given that I'm still in contact with a couple of the first members that joined it.
Also look back fondly on co-founding The Metal Legion, which was fun just because of the elitism and arguments with people. Still in regular contact with 3 of the best members from that club some 5 years later (Quhzk and Dead End King being 2 of them), so that's pretty nice.
Constantly derailing We Love Music and The Music Composers Guild, as well as mocking Ron and Gamedude at any given chance are pretty fond memories, too.

I remember this oh my god.

Greetings. It is I, Wunschkind/MaskedJackal.
My favorite PE2K memory has to be when I joined The Metal Legion thread and became good friends with Zach, Mitch, and Red. We've been bros ever since, even after they found out that I was a disgusting furry.
Another fond memory I have is when I got banned by that rust dude for trolling. I denied it at the time, but I must admit now that I was quite the rusemaster for a kid who had yet to grow hair anywhere but his head (I'm still struggling with this, by the way).

I really liked that one thread by the guy/girl who claimed there was a ghost right next to them and it was trying to kill them and stuff. Sort of a niche memory, but one that always sticks out.

Huh, I forgot about that ****. That was weird.

A ten year existence. Pretty ridiculous.

My favorite memory was being a troll. In particular, I truly enjoyed trolling Harry Kim.
I also remember beating Syrus' post count. However, that seemed more important when I was 12 than it does now.

Oh hey. Welcome back D.
Syrus' post count was very important back then. lol
I also remember when the old DCC threads got moved/deleted so we all lost thousands of posts. I think I lost 4000 posts when that happened.

If any of you want to podcast for Nostaligia sake, just yell at me. XD Podcast has been kinda dead for a while, but I've been looking to bring it back.
By the way, to remain on topic, I fondly remember being one of the first people to quietly bring animation to spriting on Pe2k. The podcasts were also fun, and every single friend I've made on there is forever etched into my memory.

WAR Season V RP. Definitely a glorious role play right there. You had to be in it to understand how awesome and how epic it was. Seriously, I've never been in a greater role play than that one, and it could have kept on going if we wanted it to. Not to mention role plays get a formal ending either, and that one was nicely finished.
And yeah, those zany Pikachu Survivor Games I hosted were quite a lot of laughs. The most... ridiculous things have gone on with those, and I'm glad people really enjoyed them. And to think that all started because of how funny I thought it would be if I misused my GMod powers and swapped someone's avatar and signature out for a Pikachu one.

My favorite memory was me. Actually, I had so many great memories there. One of my best friends in high school became Dark Master X - and I've never met the guy in real life! We had so many good conversations. I loved Raik's spasticness - that kid was crazy (anyone know what happened to him?)! I still keep connected (barely) to a few people on facebook, but I've grown apart. So many amazing conversations. I remember rising to the top and becoming a GMOD. I was so proud to be following in the footsteps of MushiX! Taking over Team Flora from Syas when he disappeared, and leading them in the WAR. Then I feel to the bottom and got perm banned. Then there was forum and game jumping. We played Habbo and jumped around all over the place. So many good memories. Miss the URPG too now that I'm playing Pokemon Crystal again.

That one time I beat KantoBreeder/Wandering Cubone's Metagross with a Zorua (in the ASB, countering a Meteor Mash can get lethal fast) was pretty cool. I also have very fond memories of the RP Nexen, which introduced me to some crazy awesome friends.

I remember coming and going a lot. Always disappeared for no reason.
When I didn't disappear I was battling for the URPG and in the WARs. Co-Leader for Team Triblade, to be exact. Before PE2K went down I was actually reading through the old thread. Brought back some awesome memories.
The most memorable moment I had would have to be Staff member Marth and member Dap getting into it. Marth was always trying to find a way to Dap banned but in the end it didn't happen. But because of the stress and his addiction to the URPG, Dap ended up leaving but not before giving me his Gengar :D

One of my favorite memories on PE2K was my old clan "The Laughing Man's Society". I started it up during the end of the old days of the PE2K battling center. The clan was so active at some points we were posting 10 pages a day! At the end and 6 clan threads later we ended just shy of having 100,000 posts !

I as well have some of my fondest moments at pe2k with the clans. I remember going in as a noob not knowing anything about the metagame and just grinded all summer and learned everything about it during the time. I ended up creating my own clan, The Eon Clan, and having a **** ton of fun with all of that. I also remember trolling the Metal Club they had, too dang funny. When the Daily Chit Chat thread was popular back then, the forum would go through around 15 pages a day. Was a member since '06, honestly will never forget any of it.

Pretty much all of PE2K was my greatest memory. I loved screwing around in the WAR RPs and Team RPs and had a good bunch of blokes working with me in Team Aqua. The Dark Council was also pretty awesome too -- the only place on PE2K where the rules didn't apply due to the sheer concentration of moderators that were in the club.
Crazy shenanigans happened back then, indeed. :3
Glad to be a catalyst in that crazy RP. lol

Homura Yeah... Honestly, I took the most liberties with Kent because it was so hard to fit his "Scientist/Preacher/Archaeologist/Ho-Ohkin/Planet Blower-upper/Planet Creator" roles together without revising... a lot of things to make sense. I'm actually really proud of how I'm planning on pulling it all off! tl;dr major points/events/actions get hit. Characterization and back stories are a little different to fit in with this new world.
I took liberties with basically everyone though to make the story more cohesive, though.

Favorite PE2K memory? Umm...
Maybe being part of the biggest RP in my internet life? WAR V was something that I never thought would be as big as it did when Harry first invited me to join Team Trainer. I must have looked like that crazy person play by himself for the majority of the RP but apparently I really knew how to screw things over based on the ending of that RP. That would later on be my trademark.
Anybody remember the crazy things Scoot and I did? That was fun too.
Parody WAR was a thing I tried to do. That was fun and pretty sure it made Winter somewhat bearable.
