Props to Neo Emolga for the rad banner!
It's happening again... The Enthrallers are back.
You feel a warm energy encompass your mind. It feels like you're floating, and you see only blackness. You try reaching out, but nothing is around for you to grasp. You can't even feel your own body, as if you're nothing but air. A single bright light draws your eyes, and it only grows as it gravitates closer. You cannot run or hover away, so you do the only thing you can do: listen.
Emissary... Utopia needs your help.
After successful and unsuccessful attempts to take entire worlds, Abyss, the dark and hellish afterlife realm, has once again sent demonic agents on a mission to a new world. Yaru, a world still recovering from an apocalypse more than a century ago, has become Abyss' newest target. New Enthrallers, evil spirits from Abyss, have infiltrated Yaru and taken up residence in several pokémon, turning them into Stalkers. This is all located in the developing town of Salvage Keep, which lies in the western end of a large valley. Murders of innocent pokémon committed by these Stalkers are now a frequent occurrence, and shadowy, evil energy has flooded several locations already.
Thankfully, Utopia, the pure and heavenly afterlife realm, received the intelligence in time to send word to Mew. Mew was told to gather willing and capable humans who would volunteer to take on a pokémon form to become "Emissaries," granting them special powers and the ability to appear as a regular pokémon to all other pokémon. As an Emissary, a human-turned-pokémon would work together with their fellow Emissaries using information from Utopia to discover and disable Abyss' evil plans. Through teamwork, dedication, and persistence, Mew is confident that the Emissaries can put a stop to murders committed by the Stalkers, and eventually dismantle the Abyssal network present on the plane of the living.
This task is a long and dangerous one, but without Emissaries, the world of Yaru will surely be lost.
So, will you do it? Will you answer the call?
Stalkers RPG will commence on Sunday night, the 4th of August, 2019 AEST.
