With the advent of random attacks and the new mechanic of mercenaries, now everyone has the chance to die, or make a new friend!

I'm happy to fund bodyguarding, for anyone who wants it, out of Lillians cash stash. I know asking 16 different people who aren't always online to agree on where/who/how to spend money is both intimidating and takes heaps of time, so here! Just ask Lillian! Shes probs gonna run the merc guild one day anyway :P

However! Lillian will buy a ($300sp, permanent) mercenary for you on one condition- It's on the stipulation that you dont stay at home or rest- no wasting time sleeping or hiding!
"You gotta take your new buddy out on the town with you!"

So.... would anyone like an armoured friend?

Hiring a merc is probably also a free action!
So, you should still be able to take a full action on your turn, once Lillian hires a guard for you.

Which pokemon species do you want as a buddy?
It is a good idea to pick one that covers your type weakness somehow, and also think about their relative speed/size/hit dice used in battle.

HOW DO I HIRE ONE?

Limited Duration Bodyguard - For $50SP$, you hire a mercenary for one Cycle. You can buy a multi-day contract, such as if you wanted to hire a mercenary for one full day for $100SP$. )
so i can learn rescue/escape & to buy an adrenaline orb ( with my own $ Sp ) so i can forge a dagger

Awesome! I'll get it for you by daytime- when you go on the rescue mission, you'll already have a few other pokemon with ole buzzboy so it isnt as urgent.

I'm thinking someone medium sized, since you already have significant bulk and we dont want them dying of purity damage.

Oh crap, I'm still not entirely sure. Something that can counter rock types maybe? Do you have any suggestions?
