Has anyone else experienced lag recently? I tried to connect to the forum this morning and it took me several tries just to load my User CP. At other times it would work just fine.

I've had the same problems on my laptop, Kindle and phone.

Sometimes on my phone and laptop. But I usually chalk that up to the horrid Wifi here.

Rarely it'll give me a 502 Bad Gateway - but it's only around once per day and I haven't been frustrated with it at all.

If you are able to, watch what the site is loading. Sometimes, it will say something like "connecting to google..." During this lag. This will help me chase down what is going on.

Ray, the message I mostly get is "Waiting for www.pokemoncrossroads.com..."

What Kaoru said. I get that as well when loading the site.
It was especially bad on Sunday night if that means anything.

Is there a specific time this happens? It's never happened to me.

There's not a specific time it happens. Yesterday, it happened twice after 10:00 am CST within a period of 10 minutes.

Do you have a subscription to a thread or forum? I'm trying to narrow down the field of possibilities. What skin are you using?

I got it again today about 12:40 PM. No thread subscriptions and using the Crossroads Pro skin.

I subscribe to all the threads I post in and I'm using Crossroads Pro.

So a lot of subscriptions does make seem like it's 'lagging' because of the way subscriptions are done on the server. I have noticed that the 'lag' is really intermittent and could be different issues between members.
For now, I will keep an eye, but keep the reports rolling so I better understand the issue, especially since I have been unable to recreate it.

So, this doesn't count as lagging, but, I keep getting these errors every so often and it takes anywhere from a couple of seconds to about 3-5 minutes for it to fix itself.
Error 522 Ray ID: f166ffa6276077f
What can I do?
If you're a visitor of this website:
Please try again in a few minutes.
If you're the owner of this website:
Contact your hosting provider letting them know your web server is not completing requests. An Error 522 means that the request was able to connect to your web server, but that the request didn't finish. The most likely cause is that something on your server is hogging resources. Additional troubleshooting information here.
Is this common? Just curious.

I literally got this a few minutes ago. I was just trying to load the main forum page.

There was some downtime this morning and I'm not sure why, but I can confirm that everyone saw it and it's not just you.
I'm also sticking this and changing the title so that I can keep track.

Was it all day or was it at a specific time?
