Tides of Freelance ~ Nigh Ruin
http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t100/Saraibre/ToFBanner-1.png
Every being on the planet dreads the possibility of the world they know and love coming to an end. There has been everything throughout millennia, from prophecies to predictions, based on lore, myth or some form of hypotheses. The end of the world apparently is coming, but like tomorrow, it never actually comes. There have been times however, where fate would like to try to prove this wrong, where circumstance tempts the horrible happenings to come out into reality. All have been crushed by the efforts of humans, assisted by the Pokémon they share close bonds with. Time and again they have prevailed, however, throughout history, one thing remained odd.
Humans were always involved in the prevention of world collapse. It never was Pokémon alone to stop the issue in more recent events, and it seemed there was some Pokémon at the cause of this destruction. Many were ignorant to the fact some human was also involved with the cause, but at this point, it wouldn’t have mattered.
Paranoia took over.
This paranoia grew into a global, unnatural entity that shook the very foundation of nature itself. They could sense it, the Legendary Pokémon who were left the responsibility of maintaining certain aspects of nature. They felt this, and could only respond in certain ways to try and correct this anomaly. Unfortunately, the infectious anomaly that was taking over the globe, reacted in a way that would change the known world forever.
Soon governments across the world began to form pacts, something that looked as good as world peace did. People heralded such news, supporting it entirely, unaware of the future at hand. They started to pool resources and support military groups and research and technology in order to form a global military division, known as Environmental Neutralization Division of Government, or ENDoG. No one was entirely sure what these people were to do at first, but after months of unpleasant weather, some natural disasters and Pokémon acting out oddly towards certain people, anything to set the environment back to a safer place was welcome. As technology developed further, the ENDoG core developed a special machine that helped neutralize the abilities of Pokémon, making them as harmless as a house pet. Pokémon of the wild that came within city limits, or attacked people, became zoo exhibits, heavily drained of their abilities so they could do nothing more but eat, sleep and move around while humans stared at them. As time went on, the machines grew more efficient and much easier to get out into the public. However, during this time, it was where Pokémon and Trainers alike protested these machines, knowing it was wrong to treat Pokémon as such, though the majority of the public was getting used to the idea. The riots grew more and more fierce with each protest, soon many ending up in destructive Pokémon battles, and many trainers, and even coordinators, arrested, and put into prison.
Thus, the ban of Pokémon training and battles had its seeding. Owning a Pokémon came with a hefty license, and schools reverted to more economical studies, that of science, mathematics, anything to improve human life or life style. Pokémon and human interaction was decaying into nothing more than pet and master, with the nullifying machines becoming as common as collars. People attempted to still Pokémon train underground despite this, some getting caught and arrested, despite the fact the very core against Pokémon use was still using them to capture the very criminals they were chasing.
Soon ENDoG forces grew great, reaching all of the regions, slowly making its way into Unova, where Pokémon there are in shaking ground. It was time for the true purpose of ENDoG to take flight. They built a much more powerful version of the power sapping and nullifying machines, code named NEEM. They had been researching the increase in natural disasters, pin pointing a specific area of Johto near the Whirl Islands where a source of incredible storms causing mass flooding all over the region had been occurring. They went far into the deep sea caverns, locating the legendary Pokémon Lugia, who was both surprised and angered by the presence of the humans. However, the legendary did not attack first, knowing that the great anomaly was greatly within his abode. The humans saw the opportunity to take this moment of caution, and activate the NEEM. It was then after that, Lugia attempted to attack, however, missed his chance as the bird of legend felt all of his power waning out of his body. The ENDoG group then brought an assault on Lugia, capturing the beast and bringing it to a facility, where a special quarantine resided. The storms ceased, but only for a couple weeks, returning in slow, but climbing ferocity. ENDoG, at the same time, had captured Kyogre, Ho-ho, Articuno, Tornadus, and Thundurus, holding them in other quarantines across the globe.
This is where everything fell apart.
The capture of those Legends wasn’t enough. As nature grew to worse conditions, complete with erratic weather changes, more frequented natural disasters, though in smaller scale, and this prompted the continued capture of more of the Legendary Pokémon. Nature became sickly with the imbalance, with more and more common Pokémon attempting to rebel against the humans they knew to be responsible. The Legendary Pokémon who had less of an impact on the natural world, attempted to either free or assist the role of their other brethren, either becoming captured during the rescue, or becoming weak enough for simple capture by a by passing Hunter or Mercenary, paid by the government to help capture these Pokémon.
Arceus awakened to the disturbance, and seeing what was going on, knew that he could not assist with a direct assault, knowing he may fall victim to the technology the humans had invented, and therefore, leaving the world to destroy itself. Instead, he called out to all of the Pokémon, captured or fleeing, telling them that there was hope still somewhere in the grim dark. He allowed each legend, the most powerful of them all in some cases such as Shaymin or Latias and Latios where there were more than one, telling them to give their abilities and their powers to a soul of a human they knew to be the most compatible. He would allow this, knowing the humans infected with fear would not expect such things, however, the humans that were aware of such powers, may be corrupted by evil or the power itself, causing even a faster coming of disaster.
It was a gamble the world was going to have to take. Arceus knew that the entire power of one Legend could not be contained within one human being, and thus, looked to the Items of Lore to hold onto the rest of this power, masking their existence from humans and other Pokémon until the time was right. The god then looked to Darkrai, asking his powers of giving these humans a message through their sleep, of what was going on. Darkrai knew what had to be done, knew that his ability would provide the truth to these chosen human beings.
Who are these humans of which Arceus speaks?
Humans, more specifically, trainers that have hidden underground for years, training in secret, maybe not even existing in forms of paper work or computer files. Some invested their time to developing personal and portable PC systems in order to store Pokémon captured and trained as in the days of a decade ago. Even Pokeball technology had changed, allowing Pokémon caught in these modified balls to be immune to the effects of the nullifying machines effects. These trainers, and their Pokémon, know the world is not how it should be, and that something is terribly wrong. They never knew how wrong however…
Taking the name of Freelancer, the international group of underground Pokémon trainers escaped notice from ENDoG eyes, operating carefully and cautiously. The Pokémon League may no longer exist, but these people train, as if it was for their lives. Everything within the Freelancer communities operated smoothly, however their lack of knowledge on the true situation was their only disadvantage. One night, a large raid was planned on one of the facilities where reprimanded Pokémon were being held in Kanto. This raid, was planned out top to bottom, for all possible circumstances, good and bad. When the group of renegades entered, they didn’t plan to be ambushed by the last thing they had expected to see.
Genesect.
The insect turned war machine from overseas completely obliterated the operation, with few to escape with their lives. This was the night that suspicions of the Freelancer community began to arise, as did loyalties within the group itself, and most importantly, the one thing that would separate the normal Freelancers from the rest.
The Nightmares.
Nightmares of a single Pokémon, it’s agony, it’s cries, it’s strife and it’s time left before it would expire. Only few Freelancers at first stared having these dreams…no one knew why, but rumors started to stir within the underground that one Freelancer knew…wherever this person was, they had the answers. These humans, then started noticing strange happenings around them…almost as if they had something else inside of them. Their intuition grew, knowing that they would need to find the truth, and where Pokémon of myth and legend had disappeared to…
Before the world dies…
Only impossibility standing in their way.
The Role of the Marked Freelancer:
A rebel trainer hiding underground, you have nightmares of one of the Pokemon of Lore. You start feeling different, as if a change in your very life force has come upon you. Soon you start noticing that you are not normal from other people. You know that something is severely wrong, and look to finding out the truth about the disappearances of the Legends. Come high or hell water, you need to find them, break them out some way. Fight against the ENDoG forces and rebalance nature.
The Role of the ENDoG Forces:
As a trained member of an international government body, maintaining public calm and peace is your top priority. Finding the remaining Legendary Pokemon that are left, untamed, unwatched and free to cause chaos is even more priority. Everything is on a need to know basis, and the public is not on the knowing basis. Most of all, any and all rebelion must be surpressed in order to ensure these things happen.
You may play as either or roles, or another role other than a Marked Freelancer or ENDoG operative. Just run it by me first.
RP Rules:
Typical RP Rules apply
Only one Legendary Pokemon Mark per person if playing a Marked Freelancer. Once it's claimed, it's claimed. You may reserve a Mark, but only for 48 hours.
Marked Freelancers are harder to kill than normal people and have more survivability with things such as stab wounds or gunshot wounds. However, clearly some wounds are fatal no matter what...
Marked Freelancers slowly gain awareness and more control over their power, and are not able to use their signature move until they gain control over their special ability. This won't happen until some time into the RP itself.
ENDoG's do carry fire arms yes, but please don't go shooting everyone...
I like post headers...
Info about the RP:
Freelancers ask if another person is a Freelancer by asking ‘What do you dream of?’ at some point in a first meeting. The other must reply with the legendary Pokémon they have been having nightmares about, knowing what the true intent of the question is. ENDoG’s have no information regarding this special greeting and wouldn’t give the answer said Freelancer would know about.
The dying legendaries are passing their power into the humans that call themselves Freelancers, once they know of why they are receiving dreams and or discover their powers, becoming Marked Freelancers. These Freelancers have nightmares about a particular legendary Pokémon, knowing their cries of pain and roughly how long they can hold out before their soul diminishes from this earth. Arceus grants the legendary to do this, hiding in his own plane of existence away from humans to give the world one last hope.
All legendary Pokémon, unless listed below with the exception of Arceus, are within quarantine facilities somewhere throughout the world. These facilities house the Legendary Pokémon somewhere out of their natural element, for example, keeping Kyogre in a desert facility or Ho-oh in an underwater one. Underwater facilities like to move as giant submarine vessels where as some even remain in the sky as massive air crafts.
List of still free roaming Legendary Pokémon:
Giratina: Held up in the Reverse world, it attempts to repair our world through the Reverse world, though very much in vain.
Deoxys: Hiding within the depths of space, Deoxys remains nearby the moon in attempts to help repair the imbalance of nature.
Jirachi: In the Millennium Comment, almost ready to circle once again past the planet.
Kyurem: Frozen itself within its cavern, a solid glacier blocking ENDoG forces from capturing it. It’s capabilities of changing forms make it an incredibly powerful adversary against their forces should he be disturbed.
Rayquaza: Dodging ENDoG forces within the Ozone layer, however risks its own life by attacking small operations alone from high above.
Mew: Using its ability of transformation to avoid ENDoG detection though has only so much time before they catch on.
Regirock, Regice, Registeel: Rumor has it these Pokémon, previously owned by a famous trainer, lay hidden in the ruins of the old Battle Frontier. Which one, is an entire mystery.
Darkrai: Hiding within the realm of nightmares in order to communicate the dreams to the Marked Freelancers.
Suicune, Entei, and Raikou: All still free running around the globe, however are being tracked by the government in some form.
Uxie: Abusing his ability to make anyone forget his location, while proceeding to move to another one.
Mewtwo: As Mewtwo is a cloned Pokémon, his genetic mapping is much harder to detect by ENDoG machinery. His knowledge of human science has kept him safe thus far.
Legendary Pokémon in multiple numbers:
Shaymin: Not all of the Shaymin have been quarantined; some run around in hiding in small groups.
Latias/Latios: Use their light bending abilities to remain hidden, though few remain outside ENDoG reach.
Phione: Many reside in inconspicuous water bodies with their ability to melt into water.
Other Legendary Pokémon:
Genesect: Currently ENDoG’s big gun, while the free will of Genesect is being suppressed, what is left of it is transferring power to his Mark Freelancer. There are three Genesect so far under ENDoG militarization.
What is Illegal within the current time throughout all of the Pokémon world:
Pokémon Training
Owning a Pokémon without a license and or permit
Bringing Pokémon into public areas without the NP collars on
Harboring those who train Pokémon or a wild Pokémon
ENDoG forces have political freedom from these laws unless suspected of treason
All accounts of law breaking will result in jail time varying on the severity of the crime.

The Powers of the Marked Freelancer
As a Marked Freelancer, these people have special abilities that are slowly being transferred to them by their legendary counterpart. Either to prevent the world from ending, or to assist those who are attempting to put the world back in balance. Aside from the typing of certain legendaries giving the human attributes such as being able to resist cold if they are an ice type, or making one more agile if a flying type, or having more endurance for the rest of a steel type, each legendary gives a special unique ability. Though some lesser legendaries still roam free from the escape of imprisonment, they still transfer some of their power to assist the dying ones who are trying to keep the world from reaching a critical state.
Flying: More agile than a normal human. More graceful and far more persuasive
Dragon: Have overall more physical power over a human being.
Psychic: Your intuition is often right about the future. AKA you can take a guess about what's going to happen and it's vaguely correct. NOT precisely correct. Eg. ‘I know something bad is going to happen around a town with a port’
Ice: Durable in colder weather, naturally more sensitive to heat. Harder to freeze to death.
Dark: Night, it is your domain, everything generally works better for you than in the day.
Grass: Hiding out in nature is no problem, more endurance than the usual human. Easily approachable.
Water: Getting sick/chills/ hypothermia from anything water related has no affect. Longer holding breath under water.
Fire: Heat doesn’t harm you. Dryness doesn’t harm you. Hyperthermia is not an issue.
Electric: Can survive lightning strikes, taser’s have no affect. Much faster in outrunning a human.
Ground: Very sturdy, you can take what you can give. Heavy lifting isn’t an issue.
Rock: Very high level of endurance, however can be worn down by very long negative effects.
Steel: Smarter in areas involving tech, also sturdy, immune to poisoning. Weathering not an issue except rain.
Normal: Empowered in a group of familiar or enemies. Rounded improvement of human abilities.
Ghost: Easier to harm, however, can fall into a stasis where the person’s heartbeat and pulse falls so low that the person may appear dead, however is not.
Fighting: Your presence around others empowers them, better people skills, easy to convince others.
Bug: You have an intuition about what other people are thinking and are able to come up with conclusions based on this intuition. Similar to hive mind but not quite.

You may now post. Reserving this just in case.
Name: Shay Miru AKA 'Silver Dragonair' and 'Phobia Master'
Age: 21
Role: Marked Freelancer
Gender: Female
Appearance: Shay stands at 5’7, weights around 120 pounds. A young female athletic body is hidden under a slate grey hoodie that seems just too big for her, and black slacks with a single white line down the sides of the leg. Even wearing a hood, she wears a faded teal Gatsby hat with a blue tie around it on her head. Her skin is slightly tan, despite the heavy clothing, and is quite the looker in past male views. Her face is calm and flawless, greyish blue eyes seem to glow under her shaded face, giving her that enigmatic ambiance. Should she not be wearing her sweater, underneath is a carmine, form fitting tank top with rune-like markings all over it in a dull red that is just a few shades from the carmine it’s printed on. The popular choices of black fingerless gloves and wrist bands to match are also part of her swag.
Accessory wise, Shay only has two things: a back pack, and a necklace. The backpack is a medium sized, worn out school bag that has seen better days. Despite it’s rugged look, it’s lasted over the years. What was a bright blue is not a faded and washed out cerulean hue, trimmed in grey, having used to have been white. Frayed fabric in the corner most of the fabric, and few zippers that have stood the test of time hide various carry-on items in their pockets. The necklace is a simple silver chain and a trinket as it’s main centre piece. A pewter S in the shape of a general dragon, coiling around itself that Shay received after completing the Dragon’s Den test.
Personality: Shay has grown away from people, and therefore isn’t much of a people person anymore. She acts seemingly cold and arrogant at a first impression, sometimes even ignorant to the person as well; however she isn’t truly like that at heart. Inside is a caring person, though seems to care more for Pokémon than human beings, and won’t hesitate to help someone in need. This impulsiveness however is often followed with her commenting something along the lines of incompetence towards the person she just helped. Her lack of socializing with other people has worn away at her ability to properly talk to a person in most cases, sometimes leaving her to outburst angrily at someone when they poke at something personal either about her or her past. This may also grow to violent tendencies where Shay is not afraid to pin someone up against a wall to get someone off of her back about something, or even someone else’s if they dare go that far. Even with that Shay tries to remain as cool and collected as possible at all times, even giving the false hint that she doesn’t care about what others may think.
Underneath the hardened exterior is a very loving person who is incredibly loyal and selfless and would give up her life for a dear friend, though those kinds of friends she does not have many of. Shay isn’t one to talk about herself, and it is incredibly hard to get her to do so. She often feels awkward talking about herself if put in the situation, as it makes her feel self centered and attention hungry. She often distances herself from other people to prevent this sort of interaction and won’t hesitate to do some odd or crazy things to maintain this distance. This applies to her fantastic battling skill, applying and any every possible option to come out victorious or to make an escape. Her daring nature comes in handy with such escapes, willing to dive on her own for a few hundred feet from a certain altitude to lose pursuers and meet up with one of her flying Pokémon once again at a lower altitude. Though she thinks of any and every option to gain a victory in battle, she will not use dishonorable tactics, or fight dirty. However, if it’s her fighting another person, it’s a slightly different story.
Overall Shay is a person that is hard to gain the trust of, but when you do, she makes a wonderful ally. If you don’t though, she makes an incredibly worse enemy.
History:
Shay was born in Blackthorn City, in a family that was highly respected amongst the Dragon’s Den clan as great dragon trainers. Shay was thrust into Pokémon at an early age, soon receiving her first Pokémon age at the age of six. She took care of it like it was a priceless treasure, and in the future it would become that very thing. Her aptitude for Pokémon was noticed quickly within the clan of dragon users. Her egg soon hatched into a golden Charmander, of who would become her best friend in the following years. Shay only had her father as blood family, but had her entire clan that she soon learned extended all over the globe to call a family as well, never mind the Pokémon she was going to befriend. She became fond of training Pokémon and became a skilled battler quickly as time went on. Once she became of legal trainers age, or rather, by her father’s standards, he took her around the world to show her the wonders of nature, despite the odd changes that seemed to be happening with the weather at the time. Shay traveled around the other regions from the age of nine to twelve, gaining a skill for training even the most difficult of Pokémon for even an experienced trainer. Her skill even impressed her father, who soon returned with her back to Blackthorn for her initiation test of Dragon’s Den.
The test lasted over a year of rigorous training with dragons she had captured over her travels with her father, and most importantly, her shiny Charmander, now Charmeleon that would soon be Charizard. Shay lived out in the elements with her Pokémon, shared food, shelter, and learned to work together to a point where her very Pokémon knew her well enough to battle for her with little command. During this time, shay was unaware of what the government was deciding to do with the world, though she had an off feeling about some things. However, when she asked, she was only told to focus on her test. She continued the test, until she was about fourteen years old, when she was called into the elders cabin. Standing there, with her Charmeleon at her side, she was presented with a necklace, one of pewter that had a dragon she wasn’t entirely familiar with at the time, in the shape of an S. As the elders gave her one final questioning, of which she responded honestly, she was given the famous Dragon’s Den Dratini, as rewards for completing her long test, showing great prowess and skill amongst her age group. A small festivity was held within the cave in celebration, even though shay was entirely shy about it the whole way through.
This would be the last day Shay would have of peace and family.
Early the next morning, before the sun rose, Shay was awoken by her father, who seemed exasperated, and flustered, even in his attempts to remain calm. Shay got up, confused and worried about what was going on. She was moved with some of the elders and others of her age group, a total of about six people, moving down one of the caverns with haste and stealth. Shay, with her Charmeleon at her side, heard shouting, and gunfire from far behind them, wondering what was going on and why there was gunfire. Soon they came to a small part of the cave, not easily accessed where a pool of water that lead into a deep, underwater tunnel was found. Shay was told to leave with the waiting Kingdra, along with the other kids without her father or the other elders. Shay had a feeling of what was going to happen, and what her father planned to do. She resisted leaving, but was told that something very wrong was being done by people who were scared and that she must remain hidden from these people and find a way to survive, and live. Shay was confused by these words, but had no time to ask as she was shoved away into the water, being dragged by with a breather in her mouth and Pokeball in hand.
She resurfaced in a pond out in the mountain ridge, south of Blackthorn, where she found a small pack of her belongings along with the others she had escaped with. The only person there, was an unfamiliar woman, ready to move them into an underground home. This is where Shay learned about what was going on in the outside world, in terms of politics, and nature. The young teen then understood what her father had told her, and during her transfer, she vowed to return one day and find the very answer to what was going on and stop it.
Thus began Shay’s life as a Freelancer. She constantly trained her Pokémon, and other Pokémon, using her skills as a dragon tamer to recruit the most powerful of allies into the Freelancers use. She grew away from human sociability and concentrated her focus on Pokémon, as years passed, growing almost cold towards them, despite the fact she knew not all of them were ENDoG followers or supporters. Shay gained a reputation of the Silver Dragonair, most notably for her necklace and origins in Blackthorn, and her commonly used team of dragons. Her signature Pokémon, the very Charmander she spent most of her life with, now her ace card of a Charizard, moving from Freelancer group to Freelancer group, training various Pokémon, preparing for what she thought she knew was to come.
Seven years passed, now twenty-one, Shay spends most of her time in her home, Mt. Silver, one of the untouched places left in Johto by the government, thanks to the native Tyranitar geographically changing some part of the mountain every two weeks or more. A small hub for Freelancer’s with extreme skill, Shay spends most of her time alone there, leaving only every so often for rebellion work. Soon enough, the nightmares started coming to her, one of a legendary Pokémon she had longed to meet in person; Giratina. There were of its anguish and pain, attempting to repair the world through its own. The nightmares grew more and more strong, almost coming every night, giving Shay the idea she knew that something had to be done and she would have to go above and beyond what she initially thought of doing to rebel against the very people killing the natural world.
Knowing they were now coming on a regular basis, Shay knew it meant something, and when something within the Freelancer community was compromised, that’s when she knew it was time to get things done with her own hands. Moving as a solo entity, one that doesn’t exist thanks to her father’s previous work of erasing everything that gave her identity to keep her safe, she roams in search of not only the truth behind her nightmares, but the location of her father.
Pokemon:
http://www.dragonflycave.com/hgssspritesshiny/frame2/006charizard.png
Asharas ♀
Asharas is Shay's life-long partner, and by far her strongest Pokemon. There isn't anything out there that this Charizard can't out maneuver, or out speed in slight. Her skills from being trained with Shay are incredible, and is Shay's last resort Pokemon. As such, Asharas is often her trainer's second conscious, and seems to have far better human social skills than her. Anyone who so much as touches the human that saved her life from certain death, is going to get incinerated.
http://www.dragonflycave.com/hgsssprites/frame2/149dragonite.png
Bryn ♀
Bryn was the Dratini Shay earned from completing her Dragon's Den training. Under her motherly composure is a fierce battle spirit that is not afraid to royally kick your ass, shove something up it, and then proceed to kick your face in. She has no tolerance for the heartless and cruel, yet has all the tolerance and patience in the world for those who earn her respect. Just don't make her angry though, you will regret it.
http://www.dragonflycave.com/sprites/gen5/bw/635.png
Vio-Nai ♀
Vio-Nai was once an incredibly temperamental and destructive dragon who was capable of tearing anything apart. After meeting Shay, her temper has toned down to an almost unnatural level for a Hydreigon, but it is still there. Her fearsome appearance hides an explosion of raw power underneath, and as the multitasker of the four, Vio-Nai will find a way to do things ten different ways, to get the same result. Vio-Nai does not listen to anyone, but Shay, does not stop for anyone, but Shay, unless told to by Shay. After getting this time bomb waiting to go off to be able to sit still for an hour without moving, Shay is the only one capable of keeping Vio-Nai under wraps.
http://www.dragonflycave.com/sprites/gen5/bw/596.png
Cayci ♀
Cayci is Shay's bundle of bouncy energy who seems to like to give people electrocutions to show she likes them. Under an incredibly bubbly exterior, is a skillful, deadly accurate warrior of 'if you mess with anyone I like, I will have you meet Thundurus' boom box personally'. The little fluffy electric arachnid also has a knack for sabotage, and will take any opportunity given if she has the okay to do so. She often goes above and beyond the call of duty to assist Shay in her dealings against ENDoG. Many never suspect that this Galvantula is capable of the great feats she has pulled off, which is also her greatest advantage against foes.
Mark: Giratina
Can hide in reflective objects in a form of sub reality and can only escape out of reflective surfaces. Can bring others with them, only it takes much more energy.
Signature Move: Shadow Force
Name: Jingka Givrali
Age: 18
Role: Freelancer
Gender: Female
Appearance:Jingka is rather tall for her age, standing at 5'10. She has dark hair that almost looks black that falls just behind her shoulders, with her bangs seemingly always in front of her eyes, and pale skin that contrast dull bluish green eyes. This look to her makes her seem incredibly enigmatic, and considering she usually has a ghost Pokemon on her shoulder ninety nine percent of the time, that just makes it normal. She normally wears monochrome attire, but won't shy off from the occasional purple. Black pants, grey shirt, purple vest, everything about her screams ghost, or at least some form of colour blindness. The build underneath her clothing is thin, and typical female looking. However, it is lithe and hides the fact she can move very quickly when she has to.
Personality: Jingka can be found to be incredibly odd and rather whimsical in the mind. She always seems to be thinking or watching something, though it isn't always clear as to what or why. Jingka is at first, questionable, often talking in confusing metaphors or using old sayings, proverbs, and such. However she has amazing analyzing abilities that let her extract information from just listening, seeing and or observing the slightest detail in mannerisms. Her high IQ allows her to think incredibly fast and work out plans for anything within a few seconds. Her analytical ability of people's speech patterns, body language and how they react to certain things gives her the insight into the human psyche that often makes people think she's some kind of psychic. This isn't the case, Jingka is just incredibly smart. She knows there is a reason for everything and to better understand people, will often analyze and observe to try and figure out whatever that reason or morale is.
If Jingka were to get into a conversation with someone, she will most likely begin to run circles around your logic with carefully worded phrases, and start outlaying paradoxes so mind provoking, you question if the girl is even making sense. The worst part about it is that, given time to think over what she says, she always makes sense in some shape or form. Making blatant immediate sense is not her strong point, but it never was her style of dealing with things in the first place. She is a master of over complicating a simple answer or response, or taking a statement from someone, breaking it down into its atomic particles, and rearranging it to fit her needs. Winning an intellectual argument with her is near impossible, as she is not ignorant nor egotistical about her ability to debate for days on end. She acknowledges her opponent or enemy's point, only to crush it with her own logic or fact that is often undeniable. There are time where she even shatters a fact as nothing more than commonly accepted truth. Jingka is a fierce mental weapon of mass intelligence that is a force to be feared. Even when trying to avoid all intellectual arguments with Jingka, she has this enigmatic draw to her that some find charming, others intriguing, and often, both. Her intelligence and guile seem to taunt or invite those to try her in such battles of the mind.
History:
Jingka was born into a moving family that frequented Ekruteak City and Celestic Town. She lived with her grandmother, as her mother died at her birth and her father had long since left her behind ages ago. As such she always wanted to know the why of things and was constantly in pursuit of it. This often lead to a disregard of her own safety of where she was going or how it may or may not get her into severe trouble. As years went on, the most Pokemon communication Jingka had were speaking with ghosts types, as one could learn how to manage their future by speaking with the past. All of Jingka's Pokemon that she owns, she found by chance, including a shiny Litwick that is currently at home with her grandmother under protected licensing. Jingka constantly wandered the world when she was old enough, taking part in psychological studies by attending summer university courses, and always passing with flying colours. She always visited the graveyards and temples of mourning all over the world, and asked the residents of their experiences there, to better enlighten her wisdom.
This was the way she found out about the world becoming out of balance before it even began happening. Various ghosts type Pokemon could not tell her exactly, but the vibes and consistent channeling of chaotic energy was a clear sign. When her first nightmares of Darkrai came, she knew she had to find a way to speak with the nightmare bringer the next time they crossed subconscious paths. By having one of her grandmother's ghosts, a Haunter, possess her in her sleep, she was able to more control what happened in the nightmare, being able to make some contact with Darkrai, inquiring as to what she was meant to do. The legendary explained what to do, and why, but nothing beyond that, Jingka could guess the reason. Once ENDoG surfaced, and news began to grow about suppressed Legendary Pokemon, she knew what she had to do to begin a chain reaction that would inevitably change the face of reality.
Pokemon:
http://www.dragonflycave.com/sprites/gen5/bw/302.png
Kimberlite ♀
Kimberlite was Jingka's first Pokemon, and her best friend. The creepy Sableye always seems to be around at the right time, but never around when you go looking. The tricky little thing always seems to be doing something, and constantly keeping herself busy. Kimberlite loves Jingka to death... and probably still would after it too. Her creative tactics put her in the category of Jingka's most useful and multi-purpose Pokemon.
http://www.dragonflycave.com/sprites/gen5/bw/shiny/623.png
Roshi
Roshi is Jingka's hidden arsenal of sheer power. This includes when he lets that power be used for generator purposes, or if he's punching holes through foot thick, metal security doors. He is tremendously larger than most Golurk, and it is uncertain of when Roshi and Jingka met. Jingka just knows Roshi is someone she knew in the past, who has come back to assist her in her time of need. Roshi is a punch holes first, ask questions later type of guy, because he only punches what he's told to punch, and knows he has been told for a good reason.
http://www.dragonflycave.com/sprites/gen5/bw/479.png
Pulse
Pulse is Jingka's little trouble maker, and always makes trouble for the benefit of his master. He is often reffered to as a male for reasons only Jingka can over complicate. He's hardly out and about, but would rather nap in electronic devices until his time to come out is needed. Even napping, he can detect certain hidden technologies by setting of an incredibly mild static charge. Being in a cellphone or a pager most of the time, he often gets away with it due to Jingka convincing everyone else that her phone has technical issues.
http://www.dragonflycave.com/sprites/gen5/bw/shiny/571.png
Endra ♀
Endra isn't actually Jingka's Zoroark, but instead, was received from a Pokemon cache that are often left behind for Freelancers to use for their time of need. Jingka isn't sure who Endra's actual trainer is, but is sure to know when she seems them. Endra is calm, collected, and incredibly dangerous. She focuses on the finesse and agility in battle, often aiming to strike no more than once. Her acrobatic skill and dexterity exceed that of a normal Zoroark, never mind her ability to use illusions swiftly, efficiently and effectively.
Mark: Darkrai
Is able to commune the emotions of other beings through dreams, often coming out in the form of a nightmare. Can commune with dying Legendaries and to other Marked for them with this ability, and knows of the true situation immediately.
Signature Move: Dark Void
Other: Jingka is the only one aware of the true disaster that is coming upon the world.

UPDATED
Character 1:
Name: Zorayda Anna Moonlin (AKA “Zor”)
Age: 23
Role: Freelancer
Gender: Female
Appearance: Short and curvy, standing at 5’2”, 180 lbs. Zor is not in-shape, though she has a very feminine and pretty figure that is admired by a lot of men. She has medium length, wavy blonde hair and gray eyes framed by thick lashes. She often wears clothing that accents her body because she enjoys the confidence boost from feeling and looking beautiful. However, she can’t run long distances or fight very much without wearing out quickly. She also wears glasses when she remembers to; these are dark, rectangular metal frames that work with her round face. Her skin is pale from a lot of staying out of the sun and reading books when not training Dusk and Viola. She’s also somewhat sensitive about her appearance. A compliment can make her day while an insult could devastate her and make her feel ugly.
Personality: Zorayda is a myriad of different things, but what people see right away is that she’s cheerful and very friendly. Some people would even call it annoyingly perky. She makes friends right away and is very helpful and kind, and treats Pokemon as equals/companions, not as animals or lesser beings. She also has a knack for seeing the bright side of things, which makes people attracted to her subconsciously. Zor is unsure why, but people flock to her to tell her their problems, at which she simply listens and comforts them but usually doesn’t know how to solve them. She has a huge amount of empathy for people and genuinely feels pain and happiness for others.
Under that happy exterior, though, Zor is a deep ocean of emotions. Having had a bad family life, she was brought up to feel guilt for wanting things for herself, and taught to think next to nothing of her own abilities. She pushes aside all of her own needs to grant the needs of others, no matter the cost. Zor acts confident at times, but again it’s mostly all a facade that covers her cripplingly low self-esteem. There are some days when she’s angry at the world and wants nothing but to just cry; this happens at least once a month and sometimes more. However, she only opens her true self to the ones she completely trusts, and through that bond her calmer, more level-headed nature comes out, and she’ll actually tell the truth about what she thinks and not sugar-coat it.
She’s actually very smart in a lot of ways, though her ‘blonde and bubbly’ personality can make that seem unlikely. Like her Ninetales, she has unconventional ways of looking at problems and can make the best of any bad situation. Zorayda is also extremely creative and artistic; she can paint things from memory and she has no problem with visual puzzles.
Zorayda is extremely sensitive to others’ reaction to her. She doesn’t understand when people don’t like her and she takes insults to heart. Compliments make her feel nice temporarily but don’t seem to throw sticky darts in her heart like insults do.
History: Zor’s history is complicated, to say the least. She was born in Goldenrod City in a middle-class home, raised alongside her six-years-younger little sister. Her father wasn’t home very much, being a traveling construction superintendent that went even as far as Kanto, Sinnoh, and Unova. Back at home, however, things weren’t as they seemed. Her mother was controlling and mentally and physically abusive. This is the root of Zor’s insecurities and sorrow as well as her anger and a need for positive attention from others. To strangers, neighbors, and Zor’s friends, her mother was the nicest person on the planet, but behind closed doors her mother could be a vicious, mean-spirited woman. Zor would get out of the house as often as possible while also shielding her little sister from the brunt of the attacks when she could, though it wasn’t hard because Zor was the center of all the negative attention for some reason.
One of these outings was with friends, who traveled to Ecruteak City to visit the Burned Tower and Bell Towers and learn of the legendary myths. Zor felt a heavy rush of despair and sadness when looking at the Burned Tower, something that felt foreign as if it wasn’t her own emotion. It was confusing but she didn’t think much of it, having found Viola as a kit on the southern border of the city. Zor was approximately eleven years old at the time. She was terrified to bring the Vulpix home with her mother there, but her mother simply sneered and told her not to bring Viola inside. So the pup lived in a pen, the best Zor could give her... for about three years.
When ENDoG became a real thing, Zor didn’t know very much about it besides that it was a faction trying to control the disasters that kept happening in the world. She had no idea that they were a bad thing until one day when she witnessed someone’s dear Pokemon undergoing the ‘treatment’. Zor was too young to remember a lot of the disasters, so the fear-induced abuse of Pokemon seemed horrific to her. Though she didn’t know how to do so without suffering penalty, she knew she had to help those poor Pokemon and teach the scared people that they were wrong... somehow. Not much later, she heard rumors of Freelancers, those who opposed the government. Seeing a highly opportune moment to escape her horrible home life and to help the Pokemon, she ran away to find them with her Vulpix.
Years later, she’s now a strong Trainer with two able Pokemon. She hopes to help Pokemon escape with the other Freelancers and to re-educate the public about ENDoG and Pokemon. She also hopes to someday reunite with her sister and keep her safe from ENDoG, though a selfish part of her wants her sister to become a Freelancer and fight alongside her.
Pokemon:

http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen4/platinum_action/038.png-Viola the Ninetales has a Quirky nature. She marches to her own drummer in life; Viola is not necessarily always obedient, but she’s smart and has a way with solving problems in surprising ways. She thinks outside the box and uses her environment to her advantage in battle. The Ninetales is less serious and ‘majestic’ than others of her kind, probably due to being raised around humans since birth. Zorayda found her as a Vulpix newborn. Her mother had hidden her among overgrowth near Ecruteak, when ENDoG’s forces found the mother Ninetales and captured her. The mother’s location is unknown. Zor took the lone kit and raised her as a pet for a long time before becoming a Freelancer. She learned to protect her precious companion’s safety and freedom, training her to become a tricky battler.
UNLICENSED
http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen4/hgss_action/197.png-Dusk is Serious-natured, with steel resolve and an incredible work ethic. He’s no attacker, but his bulk and endurance make him a tough shield to contend with. He is highly protective of Zorayda and Viola and would stop at nothing to make sure they were safe. Zor obtained Dusk as a young Eevee. In the Underground, male Eevees were less desirable, and his stoic nature made him unattractive to those who wanted cuddly little foxes. Zor saw his potential and couldn’t help but to pick him up off the Pokemon trader who was trying to give the little guy a new home. He evolved when protecting Viola in a tough double-battle with another Trainer, who had attempted to hit the Ninetales with his Pokemon’s critical-hitting attack. Dusk took the brunt of it and evolved out of the love and desire to protect his fellow teammate and Trainer.
http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen4/dp_action/025.png -This Pikachu has recently been caught and has no nickname yet. He is Brave-natured, though, and has chosen to follow Zorayda and help the Freelancer's cause with some convincing from both Dusk and Viola.
Mark: Lugia-Can spawn powerful storms of wind and rain, making it incredibly difficult for any living thing to traverse through. This is activated by powerful emotions and can be stopped when the person is at peace. This person can also breathe underwater.
Signature Move-Aeroblast
Psychic-Your intuition is often right about the future. AKA you can take a guess about what's going to happen and it's vaguely correct. NOT precisely correct. Eg. ‘I know something bad is going to happen around a town with a port’
Flying-More agile than a normal human. More graceful and far more persuasive than normal humans.
Other: She has a Southern accent, picked up from her father.
Character 2:
Jace Allan Timber
Age: 27
Role: ENDoG
Gender: Male
Appearance: 5’11”, 160 lbs. Jace is well-muscled but not a bodybuilder. He has the figure of a surfer with slightly more buff arms due to lots of carpentry when he lived in Ecruteak. He has semi-short black hair, olive skin, and dark green eyes. He wears the uniforms given by ENDoG, though when off-duty chooses to wear collared button-downs and jeans with designer sneakers. He has a tattoo of a tribal-style Luxray on his right arm/shoulder, signifying his first given Pokemon Panja.
Personality: Sharp and a bit tough when in ‘Lieutenant’ mode, but very amiable and friendly when relaxed. He has a very ‘chill’ personality and is easy to relax around. Jace is the kind of guy you would invite to go have a few drinks with and shoot the breeze. ENDoG has worn down his kindness somewhat, though, and he can sometimes be a little harsh or abrupt without intending to be.
History: Jace grew up in Ecruteak around the legends and tales that were told there. His mother died giving birth to him, but he was raised well by his father, a carpenter. Jace learned to become a Groomer when he learned of the trade, interested in making Pokemon happy. He often visited the Kimono Girls’ Eeveelutions to keep them looking beautiful for battles and contests, or just to look good next to the dancing girls.
When ENDoG formed and began to hunt down Pokemon, Jace became concerned about the well-being of people and Pokemon. Older people in Ecruteak began to agree with ENDoG, saying that the Legendary Pokemon were too powerful and caused too many disasters. Not sure if he believed this, Jace remained ignorant of just how cruel ENDoG truly was. Eventually he heard the stories enough to start to see their point of view, and joined their forces to help neutralize threats. He was told that this meant nothing more than harmlessly taking Pokemon’s superpowers away and releasing them to be like ‘normal’ animals in the wild... of course, he quickly found that to be a lie.
He wanted to quit as soon as he saw the horrifying abuse of Pokemon, of Legends being caged in places and dying slowly. He saw the natural disasters that happened BECAUSE of ENDoG, though the older generation were stubbornly set on solving problems this way. But, having signed his life away as a recruit, he was threatened with extreme punishment if he did not obey... some even hinted towards torture. Jace knew he was stuck, but he tries to make the best of things now. He takes things day by day and attempts to earn ENDoG’s trust while figuring out how to help Pokemon and Freelancers in the meantime... without getting caught.
Pokemon:
LICENSED
http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen4/platinum_action/405.png-Panja the Luxray is Bold-natured, fierce and ruthless in battle and sometimes disobedient to his Trainer. This electric lion is noble and strong-willed, resisting a lot of ENDoG’s harsh treatment and refusing to take down Pokemon he deems too weak to fight him. His sense of honor often infuriates other ENDoG operatives when he stubbornly sets his teeth and chooses not to kill a fellow Pokemon. The only reason he hasn’t had his power taken from him is because Jace does his best to keep Panja in his Poke ball when other ENDoG members are around to watch him battle. Panja was given to Jace as a young recruit as the Luxray he is now, since ENDoG didn’t want to spend all that time evolving and training Pokemon and instead caught him wild.
http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen4/platinum/475.png-Gabriel is Docile natured--he humbly follows every order and stays at Jace’s side to protect him from other Pokemon’s and human’s attacks. He doesn’t have the nobility that Panja does, making the lion look down on him in disgust most of the time. Gabriel, however, has the mindset that a Pokemon does what his human companion wishes, no matter what--even if it is unethical. Jace has had Gabriel since he was a Kirlia, but evolved him a few days later with a Light stone. Gabriel works as more of a shield and protector of Jace’s person than anything else.
http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen4/hgss/130.png-Artemis is Brave in nature, though extremely dim-witted like a child. She was forced to evolve as a Magikarp, much like the Magikarp of the Lake of Rage. This resulted in raw, unparalleled power, unnatural and horrifying to watch when she battles. However, it’s somewhat uncontrolled; the chemical used to make her evolve messed with her head, and she’s stuck at a juvenile stage. This can lead to more temper tantrums and rampages than that of normal Gyarados, especially when punished for disobeying. She simply doesn’t understand most of the time; Jace has to use a special scent to calm her down. Jace received Artemis when she was first introduced to the evolving chemical agent. He was able to calm her before she was murdered by the ENDoG for being insubordinate and uncontrollable, and was therefore given the task of keeping her and using her for Pokemon raids. Jace was wearing a specific type of cologne, a scent that the Gyarados has associated with safety, and will only be calmed by that scent anymore.
http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/018.png-Argren is Jolly in nature, though his personality has been damaged by ENDoG abuse. He remains cordial and indifferent to other humans, but with Jace he warms right up. Argren was given to Jace recently when he became Lieutenant, in order to use the bird to Fly from place to place.

This is me reserving rayquaza for character number two. Will edit both SU into this post.
Name: Jet
Age: 18
Role: Marked Freelancer
Gender: Male
Appearance: Jet doesn't dress for appearance. He dresses for practicality. He dresses for speed. Jet wears light runners, track pants on top of a pair of board shorts, and a tshirt over a hoodedsinglet. His pants have numerous pockets containing bits and pieces that he thinks might be needed later.
Jet stands at approximately 5 foot 7, with a thin frame. Though he lacks muscle, he makes up for it with his speed. His messy black hair sometimes covers his light grey eyes, and he has a rather pale skin tone. However his pale skin is covered with scars, mostly covering his arms and legs. He was lucky that his face wasn't harmed in the accident.
Personality: Jet is silent most of the time. He knows how to talk, and will do so if he has to. However due to being deaf for the past 10 years, he hasn't heard his own voice, and is embarrassed at how he might sound. That's right. Deaf. In his silence, Jet is a deep thinker, and will put much thought into a Decision before making it, and will think very carefully about his words. Tough he doesn't talk often, his opinion should be taken seriously.
History:
Jet isn't the first freelancer in his family. His parents were both freelancers, who met in the underground. His parents would sneak out after Jet went to sleep of a night for guerrilla warfare, attempting to stop ENDoG. This involved destroying a ENDoG facility in the middle of Castalia city.
When Jet was 8 he woke up from a nightmare, and walked into the living room to find his parents. However he just missed them as they went out the door. Jet followed them out the door, but after a few miles of trying to follow them, lost them. He found himself in front of what he didnt know was the ENDoG facility that was planned to be blown up. The freelancers had token in and released the Pokemon from inside, and had planted explosives to take the building down. The was a bang as the building exploded, pushing Jet through the air, and making him hit the ground, knocking him out.
Jet awoke in a hospital a few days later. However he awoke to silence. The TV was on, but there was no noise. People were talking, but Jet heard nothing. He looked at his skins and saw bandages. Wondering why, he pull ed the, off, and to his horror found his flesh horribly burnt. Doctors and nurses came over to try and calm him down, but soon realised he couldn't hear them. He had lost his hearing from the explosion.
Ridden with guilt from the accident, Jet's parents gave up their life of fighting ENDoG, and moved to Rustboro city in Hoenn. Here they managed to get a special license for Jet, and an Absol that would act as his ears. This Absolute became a close friend to Jet, and would have given its life to save Jet.
When Jet was 14, his parents made the decision to send him to a school for the hearing impaired, in Lilycove city. He was failing at regular school, due to his impairment, and lack of motivation due to the bullies. They made fun of him for his scars, and being deaf. Since he couldn't hear them, they would get their point across by pushing him around. However every so often, Jet would throw a rock at them, and run like hell, because he knew they stood no chance at catching him.
Jet spent two years at the school for the hearing impaired, where he learnt to lip-read, and sign language. However the closer he got to Absol, the more he felt sorry for pokemon and they way they were treated. Feeling like he was moving nowhere at the school, Jet ran away.
After a few weeks, he found himself in the ranks of the freelancers. Due to his small frame and quick feet and wit, Jet had the job of delivering messages that were to important to be delivered via other means. Jet never stays in one place too long. He will deliver a message, get another one and deliver that, repeating the same cycle.
Pokemon:
Absol
Absol serves as Jet's ears, due to being unable to hear for himself. He was given to Jet at age 9, 6 months after he lost his hearing. Jet's parents warned him not to get too attached, as the government could take it away if they don't think he needs it. However Absol became Jet's best friend, and they have stuck together over the years. Absol is the only one of Jet's Pokemon that is licensed, due to Jet's impairment. Absol would lay his life down to save Jet, and is his loyal companion
Blaziken
Jet found Blaziken in Lilycove city as a Torchic when he was 11. Lilycove served as ENDoGs main shipping port. When Pokemon were captured, they would be taken to Lilycove and shipped to facilities, where they would have their power neutralised. However Torchic was the lucky one, who escaped from the back of the truck. As they opened the doors, Torchic shot them with a flame thrower, and ran off. Jet saw from a distance, and followed the Torchic. He let the Torchic hide in his backpack, and when the men caught up to him and asked if he had seen it, he used sign language to tell them to ****off. Lucky for him, they didn't understand, and assumed he knew nothing, being deaf. Te Torchic stayed with Jet and has since evolved twice. Blaziken is hot headed, and will burn stuff first, ask questions later. He becomes restless easily and if left cooped up too long, will break out of the Pokeball.
Flygon
Flygon was Jet's father's Pokemon. Before Jet went to the school in Lilycove, his father gave him Flygon's Pokeball. He believed that due to their activity against ENDoG, that ENDoG might come after Jet as a way to get to them. He told Jet to keep Flygon a secret, and to only use him in an emergency. Jet kept Flygon a secret, rarely letting him out of the Pokeball until he became a Freelancer. Flygon remembers being told to protect Jet, and will stop at nothing to follow his old trainers orders to protect him.
Lanturn
During his time at the special school, Jet had few periods off, and in those times, did laps of the lake on the school grounds. One day when he was doing laps, he stopped half way through, and went for a swim. The water got to his neck, and he was treading water, until he accidentally kicked something in the mud. Jet dived down and found what looked like a Pokemon egg. The Pokemon hatched into a Chinchou which soon evolved into a Lanturn. Lanturn is the youngest of Jet's Pokemon and is often seen as the baby by the rest of them. It loves having room to swim, and will sometimes wander off if Jet doesn't keep an eye on it in large bodies of water.
Mark: Latios: Is able to see through the perception of another person, as long as this person has made contact with this person.
Signature Move: Luster Purge
Other: Jet can use sign language and lip read. He is a very capable runner, and carries with him a Swiss Army knife, a small whiteboard, marker and eraser, and his Pokeball, as well as other supplies such as food, water and blankets.
Name: Jamie
Age: 21
Role: Marked Freelancer
Gender: Male
Appearance: Jamie is approx 6 foot 1 with short blond hair and brown eyes. He is well built, and fairly muscular. He has slightly tanned skin, and usually wears black jeans, a white shirt and a grey hooded jacket. His face lacks blemishes, but is expression is generally that of bitterness.
Personality: Jamie has a compassionate heart towards Pokemon, and will do anything to help them. However he despises most people. Either for letting what has happened to pokemon happen, and for using them as tools. Unless someone proves they care about Pokemon, he will not trust them.
Jamie is easily angered, and will become violent quickly. Especially when Pokemon are involved. During the times when adrenaline is pumping, and he has the choice of fight or flight, he will choose to fight, and die doing that, than be a coward like the rest of humanity and bow down to ENDoG and their views on Pokemon.
History:
Jamie didn't seem to have as much resentment for people as a child until one day when he was six. He was playing in the park while his mum sat at a park bench reading some magazines. He found himself near some bushes, and heard strange noises coming from the other side. Jamie pushed his way through the bushes and found an injured Latias.
He ran back to his mother and told her about the injured Pokemon, she looked it up on her pokedex based on Jamie's description. When she learnt how powerful it was compared to most Pokemon, she called ENDoG, who arrived within minutes. From a distance, Jamie saw them enter the bushes. Little did he know that the injuries of the Latias' were the doing of ENDoG. When the Latias saw the uniform she attempted to fly away, but was shot down by the ENDoG agents Raichu. The electric blast knocked it out, but the fall killed it. The agent then kicked the Raichu for hesitating in attacking it, which sealed Jamie's views of people in stone. Humans were evil, and needed to learn their place. They were no more important than Pokemon, and had no right to harm them.
After this, Jamie was scarred. He became easily angered, and was soon getting into fights, the most notable being when a person in his class said Bidoof look stupid, and Jamie punched them in the eye.
Jamie left school at age 16, and began working as a volunteer at the Pokemon Center. After seeing the Pokemon hurt from ENDoG, and their own Pokemon forced to kill their own kind, and worked to near death, his hatred for EMDoG grew stronger.
After working at the Pokemon Center for three years, Jamie heard word of a group called the Freelancers. Trainers who trained and raised their Pokemon underground, who fought ENDoG. Jamie left his position at the Pokemon Center, and managed to get into contact with the underground. Now he works as a guerrilla, fighting off ENDoG in an attempt to protect Pokemon from them.
Pokemon:
Swampert
Jamie first met Swampart as a Mudkip. He was hatched and raised by an underground Pokemon Breeder. When Jamie was walking home from the Pokemon Center, he saw an ENDoG agent hassling the breeder, demanding to know what was in his bag. Jamie walked over and asked if there was a problem. When the agent insulted him, and told him to leave, Jamie punched him in the head, knocking him out. The breeder thanked him, saying that if he were caught with the Mudkip, he would be in prison for life. He gave Jamie one of them, and left, attempting to hide as many others as possible.
Scyther
Jamie 'liberated' Scyther from an ENDoG Agent during his time at the Pokemon Center. The agent forced it to fight until it passed out from exhaustion. It was taken to a Pokemon Center where it slept for two days. When it woke up, and the Pokemon Center called the agent, he told them to out it down, as it was too weak for passing out. Jamie put it in the records that it was put down, but kept the Scyther, of whom he shares a close bond.
Aggron
Jamie found Aggron as a Lairon in a cave on the outskirts of Jubilife city. It's parents were killed by ENDoG agents, and it hid throughout the attack. It emerged from its hiding place to find the corpses of its parents, and Jamie who had heard word of an attack here. The Liaron attacked Jamie, who dodged it and tried to explain that it wasn't him, but the Lairon was too enraged to listen. It wasn't until it ran at Jamie, and he grabbed it, and stood his ground did the Lairon listen to him.
Sneasal
Jamie woke up one morning and went out to his car to find his tyres slashed. He looked at the street and all the cars lining it where the same. All the tyres cut in the same place. Jamie replaced the tyres that day, to find they had been slashed the next morning. After replacing them a second time, he waited in the bushes of his front yard for the slasher to come by. What he found to his surprise was a juvenile Sneasal, who found entertainment from cutting his tyres. Jamie caught it, and has attempted to train it, but with no luck, as it continues to disobey him
Mark: Rayquaza: Able to nullify weather based abilities or enhance them, creating the wanted weather of the bearer of this mark. Can breathe in any air based atmosphere regardless of oxygen content or pressure.
Signature move: Draco Meteor
Other: Jamie lives in Jubilife city.

Pokemon version of Doc? I approve, I approve greatly.
Really? 'Cuz last I checked, no one likes Doc. And if they do, I've failed my mission. :D
Name: Dr. Gregory Matthew "Doc" Xanatos
Age: Low-Mid 20s (Only Doc knows for sure. He's off the grid)
Role: Freelancer
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Doc stands at just above 190 cm (6'2"). His hair is naturally a dirty blonde and inflates when it grows; however, he has it cut very short and colored the remains jet black. He has a strong square jaw and a mostly circular face, with hazelish eyes. He has broad shoulders and well defined muscles, and he does not have much excess mass. Any of his very slightly tanned skin that you can see on him is covered in very faint scars and faded bruises.
However, his body is usually concealed by a clean black shirt and black gym pants. On top of those, he wears a cost that looks like a lab coat with long sleeves, only black (not to mention with lots of inside pockets and lined with Kevlar on the inside). He tends to walk with the gait of someone who is unremarkable, gaze downward. However, his eyes and ears are always perked, and he seems almost hyperaware of his surroundings.
Personality:
Doc's the kind of guy who hums Vivaldi while thinking of surfaces in Nth dimensional space and working out the reagents needed to produce a given product via an SN2 mechanism to ensure the integrity of the chirality of said product. He excels in taking little bits of information to get more information, and generally speaking enjoys using twisty (if sound) logic to understand everything he can about his surroundings. He can deduce many details from the smallest of discrepancies (and even detect lies via physical signs), and use that ability to cover his tracks very thoroughly if need be. His sheer creativity in applying his knowledge make people suspect he's not wholly sane. He has a near religious devotion to learning and knowledge and intelligence, and therefore tends to think of most people as stupid. However, while proving intelligence to him is just this side of impossible, he's aware of the height of these standards, and will have enormous respect for anyone who can prove their brains.
That said, dealing with Doc is generally an excercise in using dwindling patience to restrain growing homicidal tendencies with increasing difficulty. His uncomplimentary views on most people's intelligences mean that the line between "hearing him talk" and "being treated like a 6 year old" is very thin. He almost seems to revel in being as insulting as possible, and worse, he can even insult others without meaning to. He almost has a talent for saying the worst possible thing at the worst possible time, and doing it every time (if you know which author I stole that line from, I bestow upon you all the Internet cookies). In fact, if wasn't for the fact that he's just that useful, the Freelancers would have probably left him to ENDoS, Mark or no. The only redeeming part of his insults is that while he may insult someone about the same thing 5 times, he does it in five different (and quite funny) ways, to the point where sometimes a victim will want to punch him, but can't because they're laughing too hard.
However, despite being a general jerk, Doc is highly competent. He has plans for every letter in the English alphabet, plus several from the Greek one as well. His plans tend to run toward the viciously pragmatic, and can often cross moral lines, even though he's nominally one of the good guys. As his trade is medicine, he is highly competent at making injuries decrease in severity, even though he may be mocking the patient throughout. He is extremely skilled at brawling, and quite a good shot. His paranoia has led him to learn extensive psychic defense at the hands of Deep Blue (the Metagross he hangs around with), so a psychic trying to subvert him will find a nasty surprise waiting. His various plans tend to cover quite a lot of situations, realistic and otherwise ("I don't have a zombie apocalypse plan. I have 17 of them. A personal low, granted..."), but they tend to be quite airtight.
Although the stereotype of "stoic smart guy" appears to be in full force with Doc, who has excellent control over his emotions, he in reality feels quite deeply. He does care for his fellow human beings (and even more so Pokemon); even if he delights in being mean to them, he tries to avoid anything that would genuinely bring someone to harm. Conversely, when he hates, he hates with a passion that is somewhere between Hiroshima and Nagasaki. He is ruthlessly dedicated to the destruction of ENDoS for reasons that anyone with eyes can tell clearly transcends their cruelty towards Pokemon, but he's definitely not speaking about it.
History:
Doc's early history is almost completely unknown. He knows it, and no one else does. No one knows him by his given, middle, or family name: everyone just calls him Doc, as per his request. He clearly has a deep knowledge of many things (and his knowledge of the body is thorough enough that it's easy to tell he's been to medical school), but he won't reveal where he learned them. He's taken special precautions to obliterate any mention of him or anyone matching his description in any database he could get his hands on.
What is known is that just before he joined the Freelancers, he began to suffer nightmares of panic. Not fear: genuine, mind crushing panic. The sheer terror that filled him on a nightly basis, about fleeing from implacable enemies, running every moment. Every dream was punctuated by a reflection of a Pokemon that Doc, in his knowledge of mythology, recognized as Uxie. And he was beseeching his help.
Doc was unaware of what he could do. Fortunately, he started to receive intuitions that he could do something by going to Snowpoint City and telling someone who asked about the dreams he'd been getting. While he at first doubted these intuitions, the fact that they only became stronger made him decide to indulge them. Long story short, he was inducted into the Freelancers, albeit after some...diplomatic difficulties.
While no idiot deserves the moniker enough to put Doc in charge of actual people, he quickly became respected–if disliked–among the Freelancers. He established quickly that he is both a competent battler and an accomplished brawler (much to the dismay of many people whom Doc chose to offend). He's known for being a competent medic and a tinkerer of all sorts of toys (he's the one who figured out how to modify Pokeballs to immunize against power nullifiers), as well as being the go to guy for knowledge of a broad many things (even if people do not like to go to him).
Pokemon:
Artemis the Froslass (F): Artemis and Apollo are half siblings (check the egg groups, it does work) that Doc had as his first pokemon. Artemis can fight, but she prefers playing cloak and dagger assassin. She can lash out if overly threatened though, or if Doc/Apollo are in trouble.
Apollo the Togekiss (M): Apollo is Artemis's half brother, and is the more level headed of the siblings. He's generally quite calm, and is probably the only sane one of the team, trainer included.
Deep Blue the Metagross: Doc clearly raised Deep Blue from a small Beldum, quite probably a newborn. The reason for this deduction is simple: despite being the single most hardheaded creature in existence, Deep Blue is willing to defer to Doc like a child does to a parent. Deep Blue is smarter than the average Metagross too, having been raised by Doc. Convincing him to do something is something of an excercise in futility, though. Even Doc has lots of difficulty with it.
Athena the Rotom (usually W): Athena is quite calculating. While not as brutally smart as Deep Blue, she (she prefers female designation) is terrifyingly cunning and pragmatic. She does not prefer overt force, instead acting with subtlety and manipulation.
Mark (Uxie): Incredibly knowledgeable and smart, Doc is also able to make people forget minor memories that do not bear importance in the other’s mind.
Signature Move: Extrasensory
Other: Doc has been using his mark ability unconsciously to appear inconspicuous by projecting an "aura of forgetfulness": people see him and forget him a second later unless he's doing something noticeable. It happens when he's scared, generally. He's working on making this more voluntary, though.
Two things:
One, if the nullifier thing is bothersome, I can edit it out.
Two: I can't be the only one thinking of interesting things happening between Doc and Jingka. They're either going to kill each other or bond over craziness.

Neo Emolga
05-11-2013, 05:11 AM
Name: Miles Kahane
Age: 35
Role: ENDoG
Gender: Male
Appearance: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y109/Ultradyne/FreelanceAntagonist_zps127244f9.png?t=1368199014
Miles stands 6'2" and weighs in at 185 pounds. In addition to having a fair skin tone, he also has long, black hair that slightly covers his face and reaches back to almost touch his shoulders. Meanwhile, he has a medium build and an athletic body frame. His eyes have hazel-colored irises, and his face usually wears a very intimidating glare that pierces into the souls of his adversaries. The only time he seems to be smiling is when he's crushing his enemies or getting his way.
For clothing, Miles wears a ENDoG high officer's uniform, consisting of a black officer's jacket with bronze-colored cuffs over a white shirt. Meanwhile, he wears a black pair of chino pants, accompanied by a beige-colored supply belt around his waist. In addition, he wears black military boots.
Miles is somewhat muscular, relying on a combination of speed and strength rather than solely relying on one or the other. One of his strongest feats is his insight, perception, and his intelligence. Meanwhile, he is also very charismatic and rules with fear and obedience. When attacking, he prefers distance, not even liking to look close at the ugly faces of his adversaries or smell the toxic breath of his enemies. As a result, on the battlefield, he is an exceptional sniper, but he prefers to call orders and let his army of minions unleash hell on his enemies. In truth, he prefers missile and artillery strikes, anything to wipe the enemy out before they've even had the chance to attack.
Personality: If there's one thing Miles hates most, it's being powerless under someone else's control and being told what to do. Miles craves power and control over just about everything. He also hates it when meddling fools question his authority and try to undermine what he believes is a perfect system. Miles also despises incompetence, ignorance, and imprudent behavior. Anyone who makes excuses to him is pleading for a death wish.
Miles also loathes Arceus and any Pokémon that thinks humans are under the power and governance of the legendaries. To Miles, all Pokémon are simply servants of humans and were made to be ruled and used for whatever purposes mankind sees fit. As a result, he would never, ever bend a knee or submit to the rule of what he believes are "servant beasts." In his eyes, Pokémon are there for humans to use however they wish, however abusive and heartless that may be. However, he truly hates the idea of them having any kind of power or leverage over humans, which points to their capabilities to launch powerful elemental attacks. So, to address the issues, he has implemented NEEM to keep them suppressed and obedient, although even without NEEM technology in play, he finds there are plenty of human weapons powerful enough to suppress and ultimately kill off a Pokémon that refuses to be subservient. Anyone who violates ENDoG's laws is considered a criminal, a terrorist, and a parasite to humanity. He constantly uses propaganda, media, and fanaticism to get this message across. As a result, his followers are often flushed with the same kind of arrogance he has, believing in human power and authority far more than friendship or companionship with Pokémon.
In terms of the dying legendaries, Miles simply feels the sooner they're gone, the better. He intends to replace them with science and technology, believing the chaos of nature can be controlled with enough human ingenuity. As a result, the only reason why they're kept alive is for scientific study and analysis. Meanwhile, he has ordered his ENDoG High Council, commanders, and associates to find and capture the remaining legendaries for secured detention. And anyone attempting to interfere with these operations or trying find and release the current legendaries is to be shot on site or executed if captured. He has absolutely zero tolerance for anyone attempting to destroy the regulation, and anyone that attempts to do so will be shown no mercy and will experience the full brunt of his military forces. And to further his message, he does not hesitate to use overkill to make a clear statement to those who would think to oppose the ENDoG operation. In essence, those who disobey are hopelessly doomed.
In addition, Miles does not fight fairly or honorably and will go for the kill whenever possible. To him, an enemy ill-prepared or disarmed is an enemy that deserves to die. Hence, he does not hesitate to shoot someone in the back or kill them while they sleep. With a massive budget and an almost limitless number of supporters, Miles intends on using every ounce of it toward ENDoG's ultimate mission.
History: Miles was born in Sunyshore, Sinnoh to Xavier Kahane and Naomi Kahane, parents who both of which pressured Miles and his younger brother Barry to spend more time and energy toward personal education and to forgo any real, serious competitive Pokémon training. Even at an early age, Miles showed more interest in pursuing knowledge and education in political sciences and sociology as opposed to "nurturing beasts for their own benefit." In essence, even as an young child, he found it ironically laughable that there were some people that believed a trainer would grow strong as their Pokémon grew stronger. In truth, he saw most young trainers as helpless peons that were worthless without their Pokémon protecting them. As such, he refused to be like them, and often fantasized a day where them hiding behind their beastly body guards would no longer be possible.
Miles was often very proficient in school, seeing his brother Barry as his competition. In many cases, Miles was able to run circles around Barry, who could only really obtain a B average much to his frustration. As time went on, Barry simply gave up and respected his older brother Miles as his superior. Miles enjoyed much of this, and often took it further by leveraging his power over his peers. As a result, he often became the leader of many organizations in school. All the while, he still didn't show much love for his Pokémon, and very often his followers adopted this same kind of mentality.
Miles studied political science at Sunyshore University, and after graduating with top honors and with the respect of many of his professors and peers, eventually rose to become a member of the Sinnoh Council. His dissertation regarding the regulations of Pokémon were extremely convincing, and soon enough, Miles became heavily involved with the creation and administration of the Environmental Neutralization Division of Government. When Pokémon began to act strangely against humans, once again, Miles spearheaded the movement to urge ENDoG to suppress and control Pokémon, stressing that these creatures were under the command of humans and should be forced to do so by any means. After contacting his network of engineers, technicians, and researchers, he proposed the collar technology that suppressed Pokémon powers and made them obedient. The Council admired Miles's commitment and facilitation of resources, as well as his ability to be resourceful with time, money, and personnel. As a result, he was elected as the leader of ENDoG.
Since then, trainers and Pokémon sympathizers have been against Miles and the ENDoG mission, but Miles has ruled with a very heavy iron fist, often suppressing riots with heavy police and military forces that were way out of the league of those trainers, giving them zero chance of any kind of successful retaliation. Very often, Miles's tactics of powerfully demoralizing his enemies with overwhelming, brute military force was very successful, and his constant use of propaganda and media only strengthened ENDoG's mission. To most people, opposing ENDoG was simply the most painful and disheartening way of committing suicide. Only the stupid would try it.
As time went on, bans of Pokémon training and battling were simply accepted by the masses as the media and public awareness campaigns shamed the old ways and their folly. Legendary Pokémon, once respected as gods of the world by humans, were rounded up and imprisoned, which further served to emphasize their mortality and weakness compared to the human race. As ENDoG continued to highlight how much more powerful humans were over Pokémon once thought to be superior, humans realized they truly were the masters of these beasts, and anyone or anything that thought otherwise was to be eliminated.
Now, Miles intends to finish his mission to capture the last of the legendary Pokémon and use them for science and research before disposing of them. As nature and weather continues to diminish, Miles remains steadfast, refusing to be intimidated by nature. Already, his plans of using weather-control technology and engineering are part of his mission, believing that these natural disasters are simply the work of wayward Pokémon putting forward one last attempt to prove their strength over humans.
POKÉMON:
Name: Maverick
Species: Zoroark
Gender: Male
Appearance: While most Zoroarks look vicious, Maverick is especially vile and cunning. With a body built for agility and merciless strikes, Maverick makes for a very skilled, elusive assassin. His hair and fur is kept very clean and refined, but still keeps that spiky, intimidating appearance.
Personality: Maverick is extremely protective of Miles and knows his place. As a result, he doesn't dare think about messing with his human superiors. However, he enjoys the fact they give him plenty of enemies to destroy, with sates his thirst for violence and combat.
Other: Maverick has a fascination for human technology, but is wise enough not to mess around with things he does not know about.
Name: Cobalt
Species: Luxray
Gender: Male
Appearance: Unlike other Luxrays, Colbat's main differences from others of his species are the fact his ears are slightly more pointed rather than rounded. Also, the normally light-blue colored skin is a slightly darker, grayer color. Also, his appearance and disposition appear to be fiercer.
Personality: Vicious, heartless, and furious, Cobalt is a relentless powerhouse that refuses to submit to his enemies. However, despite his nasty attitude, he respects Miles. Cobalt saw what became of a Honchkrow that had attempted to betray Miles for the physical punishment he inflicted upon it. In truth, Cobalt was not aware a human could be so systematically quick and show such finesse in swiftly decapitating a Pokémon the way Miles did. He knew he would not be foolish enough to cross him.
Other: Colbat hates, hates, hates weak and/or cute-looking Pokémon. He wants to utterly destroy every last one of them.
Name: Swill
Species: Glaceon
Gender: Female
Appearance: Refined, elegant, and proper, Swill takes on an arrogant aura and appearance, making sure she stays impeccably clean and orderly. She looks a little lighter in color than most other Glaceons.
Personality: Despite her total obedience to her adamant and unyielding master, Swill looks down upon all other Pokémon, regardless of how bigger or more powerful they may be. As a result, her frosty and cold demeanor will often nip at the nerves of other Pokémon, making them irate and bitter. She's also extremely arrogant and haughty, but still knows her place and knows not to double-cross Miles.
Other: Swill hates dirty places and things. She also doesn't like the dark and doesn't like fighting unless she has to, as she would rather talk down her adversaries, or else just not bother with them.
Name: Triad
Species: Hydreigon
Gender: Male
Appearance: Unlike Swill, Triad loves and enjoys the dirty and rough work, and it shows with his numerous scars. He also looks much rougher and wild than others of his species, but in general, the coloring and shape is generally the same.
Personality: Triad is, needless to say, ruthless. He doesn't just like to defeat his enemies, he likes to play cat and mouse with them in a sadistic fashion, especially with the smaller, weaker ones. He'll often torture them around before finishing the job, and he loves it when they try to run. He'll actually make them think they're getting away, and then he'll crush their dreams of escape just when they thought they would make it.
Other: Triad doesn't like legendary Pokémon either. He finds their fall from grace rather amusing, and finds humans more interesting.
Rank: Leader of the ENDoG operation
Other: Miles is also exceptional with technology and is always trying to implement it into his plans. Not to mention he enjoys having the latest and most powerful technology at his fingertips while his enemies are left using equipment that's archaic in comparison.

Well, considering how much Doc hates ENDoG, yes. Doc may be on the side of good guys. The things he will do to take down ENDoG... Ukh. They get most cold blooded and terrifying.

And my final character with the completed SU
Name: Myra
Age: 18
Role: ENDoG agent
Gender: Female
Appearance: Myra stands at 5 foot 6' with a slender figure. She has a pale complexion, with dark brown, near black hair and dark blue eyes. She usually lets her hair lay down, with a fringe that covers her forehead.
On her days off, Myra usually wears dark blue jeans, with a dark blue top and a black jacket. When she is working, she is usually wearing an ENDoG uniform.
Personality: Myra has been a quiet girl all her life. All of her friends at the orphanage were adopted enforce her, and never wrote to her. They forgot about her in the rush of their new lives in a family. Because of this, Myra was always hesitant to get to know people, fearing she would get attached and they would leave her. She lacks confidence, and will most likely succumb to peer pressure, even if it is against what she believes. She rarely speaks louder than a whisper, and only really trusts Gallade, Altaria and Adriane. When she is with a group, she leaves the talking to other people.
History: Myra's earliest memories were that of the orphanage. She never knew who her parents were. Only that they decided that the life they could offer wasn't as good as that of what the orphanage did. Myra usually kept to herself, rarely making friends with the other children. On the rare occasion that she did make friends, they were adopted, and left Myra behind with their old lives, never speaking to her again. This caused Myra to be hesitant in getting attached to people. She was scared they would leave her.
When Myra was 6, a young couple came in to the orphanage, looking to adopt. The wife was unable to have children, and they ended up choosing to take Myra home with them. Myra moved into their home in Petalburg city. Myra was enrolled in the local school, but struggled to make friends. She rarely opened up to new people, and usually say by herself during lunch breaks.
A couple of weeks after moving in, Myra was walking home from school and found herself being followed. She turned around and looked for who was tailing her. Eventually she looked in the bushes, and found a Ralts. She left it alone, and continued walking home, however it continued to follow her.
Myra ended up bringing the Ralts home. She was unaware of the laws about Pokemon and licenses. Her adoptive parents found her in her room playing with the Ralts, and saw how much she enjoyed its company. The workers at the orphanage told the, about how Myra's other friends were adopted and she didn't hear back from them. They ended up letting her keep the Ralts, and applied for a license for it.
A year after moving in, Myra still only had her Ralts as a friend. Myra's adoptive parents began to worry, and organised for her to meet their neighbours daughter who was around the same age, Ariane. They learnt that they went to the same school, and had a lot in common, soon becoming close friends.
Ariane and Myra became close over the years, becoming near inseparable. The two were completely different, Ariane confident and outgoing, whilst Myra was quiet and shy, yet were best friends. They went through all of elementary, middle and high school together, and Myra was like Ariane's shadow. However nobody knew how Myra felt about it. How she felt like she was always in Ariane's shadow.
When they graduated from High School, Myra was unsure of what to do with her life. She didn't know if she wanted to go further with her education, work or travel. However when Ariane put forward the idea of joining ENDoG, she agreed. To her it was a way to learn more about the world, travel and work.
Upon joining ENDoG her she was horrified to learn that she might not be allowed to use her Pokemon. They were required to be tested for obedience. Altaria passed the test, however ENDoG saw Ralts, now a Gallade, as too high a risk of treachery, and declined him. They issued Myra two new Pokemon, a Mightyena and a Shiftry.
Despite failing the testing, Myra still keeps her Gallade with her in secret, making sure not to let anyone from ENDoG know she has it.
Pokemon:
Gallade
Myra found Gallade as a Ralts, when it followed her home. It has been her best friend for 12 years, and has evolved into a Gallade over the time. Myra has a license for Gallade, however she is forbidden from using him in ENDoG business, as they believe it has the intelligence that could cause it and her to betray them. Myra doesn't know their reasons for him not passing their tests.
Altaria
When it was a Swablu, Altaria crashed into the roof of Myra's house. The flock of Swablu and Altaria were migrating over the winter months, and one of the young ones couldn't keep up the pace, crashing into Myra's roof. It was injured, and Myra nursed it back to health. The Swablu recovered and evolved, however instead of trying to catch up with its flock, decided to stay with Myra. Altaria is licensed and passed the obedience tests to work with ENDoG.
Mightyena
Mightyena was one of the Pokemon issued to Myra upon joining ENDoG.
Shiftry
Shiftry was one of the Pokemon issued to Myra upon joining ENDoG

Man, this SU is so lacking... but I'm really feeling my best ^^' So... hope this is okay...
Name: Arianne Spencer
Age: 19
Role: ENDoG
Gender: Female
Appearance: Arianne’s optimism shines through her countenance. Before basic training it was rare to see her without a bright smile on her face (teeth all perfectly straight, thanks to her wealthy father). Arianne used to keep her long strawberry-blonde hair down, but keeps it up in a simple ponytail. She was athletic in high school, but since signing up for ENDoG she’s especially been in top form.
Although not obsessed with fashion, Arianne did like to look her best, but now she tends to stick to simpler clothes when not in uniform. A black tank-top will suffice, with camouflage cargo pants and the works (basically her uniform without the jacket). Training has matured her, although it has done little to extinguish the energetic light in her hazel eyes.
Personality: Arianne has always been a happy person. Of course, all she’s ever known is happiness. She’s lived a very sheltered life, free from strife and grief. Because of this she can come off as naďve. Other than that, Arianne is a very open and outgoing person. She would like to think that she’s a caring person—although honestly there can be times when she gets caught up in herself.
In high school she was a bit of an over-achiever. She was successful in whatever she put her mind to, particularly in sports like volleyball and basketball. Being both athletic and pretty, she became fairly popular in her school—although she always made sure to include her best friend Myra in everything she did. It was probably Myra who solidified Arianne’s feelings of justice and fairness, because she always wanted to make sure Myra got included.
Before training, she was pretty laid back and light-hearted, never really taking anything seriously. Signing up for ENDoG has made her mature some, however. Her feelings towards Pokémon had always been neutral. Her family never owned any; her father was actually indifferent to them. Because of this, Arianne bought into the beliefs of ENDoG. They went well with her existing beliefs in equality. It just didn’t make sense to give so much power one individual.
And so, Pokémon never really meant much to her. With her experience, she doesn’t expect them to be anything more than pets or weapons. She keeps distant from the one she acquired from ENDoG, truthfully half-intimidated by it.
History: As mentioned before, Arianne had a pretty normal life. Nothing tragic ever happened to her, nothing unexpected. In Petalburg, things were simple, laid back, unchanging. Arianne was the third child of a wealthy surgeon. Her mother and father were prim, proper people who expected good behavior from their children. They were always supportive of Arianne, however, spoiling her slightly because she was the youngest.
At the age of seven, she was introduced to her future best friend. Arianne remembered her mother telling her about a very special person who had moved next to them who could really use a friend. Arianne was all for it—she loved making friends, and when she finally did meet Myra, she decided she would be the best friend she could be. It naturally fell together when the two found many things in common between them. From elementary school up into high school, Arianne wanted to include Myra in everything she did.
Towards the end of high school, something really caught the attention of Arianne. She hadn’t given serious thought about her future, but she wanted to do something big. Something important. Something that would help people. About that time ENDoG started looking for recruits at their school. She drank in their preaching, totally buying into their goals. As graduation rolled around, she made up her mind. She would join ENDoG. The young woman was thrilled when Myra agreed to come along as well.
And so, Arianne and Myra graduated and went off for basic training—and it was the hardest thing Arianne had ever gone through. Though she did athletics in school, it was nothing compared to this. Still, Arianne pulled through, and the training brought her some maturity. She woke up to the idea that the world didn’t revolve around her. Arianne became more concerned with building up her strength, and preparing it to serve the people of her country. Although she’s calmer now, her sense of justice remains unchanged.
Pokemon:
Riolu (male)—Because Arianne’s kept her distance from this creature, she doesn’t know too much about him. He acts rather stoical, utterly obedient to a fault. Coming from ENDoG, he’s been trained to be nothing more than a weapon for his master. Nothing else matters to him.
Rank: New Recruit
Other: Cobalt’s Character’s amiga, yah?
VeloJello
05-12-2013, 03:34 PM
Name: Nadra Ferrer.
Age: 19.
Role: Marked Freelancer.
Gender: Female.
Appearance: Nadra is a fairly tall young woman, standing at 5'7. Her build is nothing to speak of; she has no particular fit-or-fatness, and her figure is fairly flat. She has a rather pretty face, however, with olive skin and long dark hair that flows to her shoulders. Her eyes are a bright hazel color. She wears only a little makeup - sometimes a little blush or a dash of eye-shadow to accentuate her outfit. She tends to look withdrawn in deep thought most of the time, making herself look more shy or timid than she actually is. When she's around friends, her face begins to display a radiant smile and seems to glow with life.
In the way of clothes, Nadra enjoys beautiful things - she likes to wear long, flowing clothing with plenty of colors, mostly on the warm end of the spectrum. She likes to wear gold bangles on her arms, and she always wears a gold chain with a feather pendant around her neck. Lately, her fashions have become more Ho-Oh inspired and beautiful - red-and-gold gowns with green accents that make her look like she's going to a party rather than a funeral.
Personality: By nature, Nadra is a kind and gentle soul. She is deeply sensitive to the feelings of others, and easily moved to high degrees of emotion. She tends to be quiet, although she's far from unfriendly - she loves encountering new people, new ideas, and just generally new things. She loves change, and loathes being pinned down in one place. Usually, she is very patient, trying not to get into fights with others and not minding if they are unkind to her. However, she gets quite angry whenever she sees someone being unfair to someone else, and will often intervene - although usually not with violence, as she hates to cause or witness pain.
Nadra enjoys many things: she loves music, and tends to sing when alone. She also has a weakness for beautiful things, and often gazes at things like rainbows or stained-glass windows with childlike wonder. She tends to be absentminded, and is easily distracted by bright colors and beautiful sounds. She also loves nature, especially the many Pokemon that inhabit it. However, beyond her sensitive, scatterbrained, sometimes frail-looking exterior, Nadra actually possesses a deep reservoir of inner strength. She is extremely loyal, and will do anything it takes to protect her Pokemon and the Freelancers.
History: From the beginning of her life, Nadra was a traveler. Her parents were Pokemon researchers, who despite their misgivings about ENDoG accepted their funding. Nadra was born in Unova, where she bonded with a specimen that her parents were 'studying' - a young Audino that they'd found, too young to take care of itself and without any parents in sight. Their hearts warmed by the new friendship, Nadra's parents decided to take the Pokemon in, licensing it under the young Nadra's name. Nadra was absolutely thrilled, as was her newfound companion Althea.
As Nadra grew in height and age, she also grew in unrest. She consistently bonded with the Pokemon that she was exposed to, but as she did she couldn't help but notice the way that they suffered under the rule of ENDoG. When she unexpectedly took in a wild Growlithe that had taken a shining to her, it pushed her relationship with her parents almost to the breaking point. The instant she was eighteen, she said her goodbyes and began to wander on her own, hunting for the Freelancers. They took her in reluctantly; however, once Dust evolved and she showed them that she had a natural talent for battling, her fellow Freelances were much less condescending.
However, almost immediately after Dust's evolution, she began to experience terrifying nightmares. She suddenly lost all ability to keep calm near water, and developed an obsession with the sun and sky. Her newly evolved Espeon did her best to try and block the terrible nightmares, but there was only so much that the Eeveelution could do. Eventually, she said that perhaps the nightmares had a meaning. On that night, she resolved to find it out - and she did. She saw a beautiful bird soaring through the sky, clad in amazing rainbow colors. She then saw the same bird bloodied, half-dead, surrounded by darkness so that its beautiful feathers shone no more. She could feel the pain that radiated from the great Pokemon wrenching through her own heart. Ever since then, she's traveled on a tireless search, hunting for Ho-Oh in the hopes of setting it free.
Pokemon:
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/0/08/Spr_5b_531.png
Althea/F/Audino/Healer/Quiet/Licensed
Althea was Nadra's first Pokemon, obtained when her Trainer was roughly eight. She is a very kind and empathetic soul, although she generally doesn't speak unless spoken to or if she's needed. She is very well-versed, with a vast store of knowledge obtained from reading human books, and her quick wits allow her to be a threat in a fight despite not being particularly strong.
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/6/6b/Spr_5b_059.png
Dust/M/Arcanine/Flash Fire/Naive/Unlicensed
Dust began to like Nadra almost immediately upon meeting her. He followed at her heels, a loyal pet from the very beginning. He is a bit slow on the uptake at times, but he is loving, unshakably loyal, and generally kind. The one thing he can't stand is being left alone. He prefers to charge right into fights, winning battles through all-out power and his strong fire attacks.
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/c/ce/Spr_4d_196.png
Keelin/F/Espeon/Synchronize/Adamant/Unlicensed
Keelin was rescued as an Eevee when, in a raid with the Freelancers, her ENDoG Trainer had abandoned her to flee for his own life. She is highly withdrawn and can be rather venomous at times, with a cutting tongue and an extremely strong head. She hates being bossed around, and is cunning and clever. In battle, she makes up for her lack of size with her brains and agility, which she values over brute strength.
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/7/7a/Spr_5b_373.png
Ramman/M/Salamence/Intimidate/Calm/Unlicensed
Ramman was a mere Bagon whenever Nadra happened across him, after the nightmares started. She decided to take him on, reasoning that a Flying-type Pokemon would help in her search. She devoted much care to his training, teaching him to keep his fiery temper in check. He is smart, strong-willed, and slow to anger, and he enjoys teaching others. His fighting style is mixed, using a combination of his intelligence, speed, power, and toughness to take down foes.
Mark: Ho-oh - Can bring the critically and or fatally wounded back to good health. This takes a tremendous amount of energy to accomplish and can’t be used very often. This person cannot be burned by any object. Signature Move - Sacred Fire.
Other: She has no permanent home, and travels wherever she needs to go on Ramman's back.
Name: Thomas White.
Age: 18.
Role: ENDoG.
Gender: Male.
Appearance: Thomas is a very tall boy - standing at 6'3", he's been known to loom over others. However, he's not particularly intimidating, given that he has almost no excess muscle and is incredibly bony. He has a rather boyish face still, with the occasional zit that never seems to stop cropping up. His skin is somewhat pale, with freckles spattered all across his cheeks. His dirty-blond hair is curly and unruly, adding to his immature appearance. His eyes are a deep, rich blue. On his back, there is a long, jagged gash of a scar, and there are many similar - though smaller - marks on his arms and chest.
As for clothes, he wears the usual ENDoG uniform for a grunt: a simple black jacket, and dresses in rather ragged jeans, sandals or comfortable shoes, and T-shirts - usually with some sort of game or movie logo - when he's not on-duty.
Personality: Thomas is the last thing you'd expect from an ENDoG officer. He's friendly and funny, often the first to make a self-deprecating joke or geeky reference to the latest in movies or video games. Even when he's just met someone, he tries to make a friend out of them. He's capable of putting this side of himself on duty, however; he puts on a mean, stern face and does what has to be done as quickly as possible. In battle, he's extremely skilled, fooling his opponents with clever strategies - anyone who thinks he'll be easy to beat because he's a grunt is in for a sharp surprise.
There's a reason he's at the bottom of the totem pole, though. First and foremost, he's the worst liar you could find and wears his heart very much on his sleeve. Secondly, while he can bottle up his emotions, he's fairly bad at it and hates doing it. Third, he's no good at giving orders to anyone who's not his Pokemon - he's somewhat spineless, and will let subordinates push him around if given the chance. Overall, he's not a spectacular asset for ENDoG.
To be honest, though, Thomas doesn't much want to be their asset. He feels uncomfortable - to say the least - with the organization's actions, but he stays on because he values his ability to have and train Pokemon and because he thinks that ENDoG is capable of doing good in the end. He tries to put a good face on his group, being kind to people in general and looking out for their safety whenever he can. He is quite brave and idealistic, and he genuinely cares about the safety of the world, though he's not entirely sure that he's going about it the right way.
History: Thomas's early life was fairly average. He was born in a small Hoenn town to a middle-class family who loved him with everything they had, trying to give him the best future they could even in the uncertain days in which they lived. He got average grades in school, made lots of friends, and had a lot of laughs. Life was good.
However, when he was sixteen, his life took a very sudden and very tragic turn. A set of overzealous Freelancers attacked a group of high-ranking ENDoG agents that were passing through the town. Unfortunately, several people were caught in the ensuing chaos; many, including Thomas were injured; and some, including Thomas's parents, were killed. As soon as he was well, he joined ENDoG; he was dead-set on making sure that no-one else was ever hurt like that.
Of course, he immediately began to feel somewhat out of place in the ranks of ENDoG. He didn't have the heart for the heavier, Pokemon-harming work that they carried out, and he hated to take peoples' Pokemon away from them knowing how much they are loved. Currently, he still carries out his duties faithfully - ENDoG, he believes, is much less volatile than the Freelancers and therefore the lesser of two evils - but he wishes that there were some way to keep people safe that didn't require causing them pain.
Pokemon:
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/9/93/Spr_5b_260.png
Booker/Swampert/M/Torrent/Jolly/Licensed
Booker was given to Thomas immediately upon his joining of ENDoG, although he was a lowly Marshtomp at the time. Thomas and Booker bonded quickly due to their similar jovial, extroverted, and generally fun-loving natures. He is quite vain and clever, and loves to win fights. He tends to seek out and directly attack the opponent's weak spot, but if the foe is well-protected he will attack with an all-out, crushing force.
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/6/62/Spr_5b_310.png
Lilith/Manectric/F/Static/Hasty/Licensed
The best word to describe Lilith with would be 'ruthless'. Thomas caught her and added her to his team when she was an Electrike, and because of his kindness to her he's one of the few people that she doesn't resent. Outwardly, she's courteous and soft-spoken, but she has a cold, predatory wit and a vicious sadistic streak that comes out in fights. She enjoys tricking the opponent into overconfidence before proceeding to tear them apart.
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/c/c4/Spr_4p_334.png
Birdon/Altaria/M/Natural Cure/Quirky/Licensed
Thomas hatched Birdon from an egg not long after he joined ENDoG. The young Swablu was rather erratic and unpredictable, but Thomas managed to give him passable obedience training so that he could stay on as a part of the team. Birdon is very talkative and has a somewhat morbid sense of humor, and he is very impulsive with an obsession for shiny objects. He is shockingly cunning, bringing down his opponents with impossibly-fast and well-timed blows.
http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/b/ba/Spr_5b_286.png
Yoshi/Breloom/F/Effect Spore/Sassy/Licensed
During a raid on the Freelancers, Yoshi - already evolved - was defeated by one of the enemy's Pokemon. Disgusted by her performance, her ENDoG Trainer decided to leave her beaten half-dead in the dirt. Thomas, stricken by the sight, decided to take her under his wing. She is still not the best fighter, but she is very observant and an excellent puzzle-solver, which gives her an edge on the occasions where she is called upon to fight.
Rank: Grunt - lowest on the totem pole, Thomas takes orders from all and gives them to none.
Other: While he can be deployed to any region, he has not yet been outside of Hoenn and is a little frightened of new places.

List has been updated. I can't wait to start guys! XD It's looking like Monday right now.
Also, her character sign up isn't done, but if you thought Miles was scary, this is a character based mildly off of another insanely twisted character I have:
Name: Isa Nari
Age: 28
Role: ENDoG
Gender: Female
Appearance: Isa has piercing grey eyes that are as cold and as steely as the sharp combat knife she often twirls around between her fingers. She wears combat gear at almost all times, at least the belt and camoflauge cargo pants with all sorts of unknown little death toys in them. On top she wears a skin tight black t-shirt, and often an ENDoG special operatives vest; the vest is dark grey with navy blue trim with 'SPO' sewn in on the left side of the vest, just under her arm into an insignia consisting of a crescent and a diamond shape standing on its point. Her hair is an auburn colour that barely touches her shoulders, swept to the left side and always seems to be in place. Her skin is fair, often bearing scars of knife wounds, bullet grazes, lacerations and the like. Most are on her torso however some can be seen down the length of her arms. She stands at 5'10 and has a very athletic build gained from tireless months of constant training. She's commonly found wearing fingerless gloves all the time, even when she isn't wearing her 'out to work' specialty vest.
Personality: Isa is not a sane person. She never was, and will never admit to being a sane person. She values the entertainment of chaos, but is also a woman to keep control of that chaos. She relishes in the fact human beings are more capable of being powerful if you realize what a person is capable of doing. Having the ability to inflict intangible feelings upon others as some kind of manipulation tactic gives Isa an incredible pleasure of using, making her the most messed up masochist you’ll ever have the displeasure, and bad luck of coming across. Isa does things often without thinking about them, because she thinks abnormally fast and does things to a precise conclusion. That also means if she doesn’t like you a lot, and you’re not important, she will knife you in the throat from across the room, and no, she doesn’t miss either. If you’re somewhat important, she’ll just fire something into your leg or arm, rendering it temporarily useless if you annoy her.
That’s the other thing she loves having control over: deciding who lives and dies, because that’s another thing she believes people don’t accept as a fact of life, and abuses the ever living hell out of it. She likes the negative results of death and how it causes emotional turmoil in others, mostly because she inflicted it and she has control of that chaos. Isa herself does not like being controlled, but will take the opportunity in full force if she is given permission to do something. That being said, she only listens to one person, and that is the only person she likes; Miles. Assassinations? Raids? Torturing people for information? Even though Isa knows she could try to kill Miles when she got bored, she doesn’t, because she has free reign to do everything she finds enjoyment in, for the law. As such, she is dead set on getting things done without any loose ends. There is no such thing as loose ends to her, because she doesn’t fail in what she does. She goes out to kill someone? She does it, no questions asked. You do not question her results either, not unless you want to end up the same way. Isa is unpredictable, and that’s why she works alone, because she may be mad at you, but she never shows it. She just gets an evil smile on her face and after a moment, will proceed to mutilate you horribly. Isa doesn’t show any other emotion besides twisted amusement, seriousness, or enjoyment. She may play a more seductive side just for more chills and fear induced panic, but usually for nothing more than that.
One thing this psychopath cannot stand is weakness, and that includes within herself. She will brutally train herself as she would anyone else to get rid of said weakness for good. This involves inhumane ways of training a human being that would be easily seen as torture. Thus, she always does something with the motto of die trying, because she would rather die than show weakness to someone. Every day she goes out knowing someone is going to die, people die every day, and if that’s her, she better be doing something worth it. Despite all of her insane morals on life, Isa is calm, cool and has such a reputation, her presence causes chills to run down anyone’s spine. She doesn’t care about anyone but herself , doesn’t look out for anyone but herself and her special team, and is not afraid to cut your tongue out if you piss her off. Other than that, she doesn’t care about what’s going on, she wants to do things when she wants to do things, just because she can and she finds it fun.
History:
Isa doesn't have much of a history, other than her vast criminal record in Unova for causing havoc, chaos, and multiple assault charges. She frequently got herself out of maximum security prisons for the 'mentally unwell' by means beyond anyone else figuring it out. She sometiems would stay and behave, other times she would end up having either a few people hospitalized and or part of the building torn away. Her face was never shown in public, and she had no alias other than 'Hell Raiser' as that is all she did, and all she liked to do. No one was permitted to see her no matter what reason due to her dangerous and volatile nature of just wanting to spread mass panic and blood. No amount of refhabilitation seemed to be working, and no amount of psychological mentoring and medicating was bringing her down from her godly high that she had control of who lived and died around her. Then that's when ENDoG came and wanted to see if militarization was a way to bring this potential threat to just an incredibly rabid dog on a leash.
Isa broke that leash on a constant basis, hating being told what to do, how to do it and when to do it. A handful of ENDoG personnel [not important ones mind you] were either killed or critically injured because 'they annoyed her'. Something about ENDoG kept her from trying to get out like all the other places, there was just that hint of something underneath all of the propaganda she was used to hearing all the time. Something else, and she intended to find out what it was. After some sneaking around, she discovered ENDoG real workings behind maintaining powerful control of creatures often seen as gods, saw the interrogations by rebellious criminals, and even some of the executions. This made Isa smile, and rarely, Isa smiled like that.
Isa without hesitation, or fear, wanted to be inducted into a special task group of her own at ENDoG from that moment forward. While having a psychopath as their own special ops unit wasn't exactly all fine and dandy with the initial barracks, they didn't exactly want to argue with someone who would put a knife in their throat in two seconds. She wanted to be given a task, but she wanted to do it her way. They gave her a job of assassinating a lesser, secondary target just in case things didn't work out, thus creating a fail safe in case she did fail. Isa didn't however, she kept asking for work, and continued to have a record of complete, flawless success. Her reputation grew over the years and she became her own, special force, and given free reign to do whatever she wanted, as long as it didn't piss off Miles.

[U]Borvos ♂
Borvos is what Isa likes to call 'her bouncer'. You don't do anything, unless Borvos says its okay. That includes blinking and breathing. He will crack your skull open to see if there is a brain inside, with some intelligence in it, if you do not listen to him.
http://www.dragonflycave.com/sprites/gen5/bw/169.png
Tero ♀
Tero is Isa's little mastermind of torture, and is relentless in the fact she doesn't let people get away with anything. The only time she will, is if she's on the ground, face down and dying. She is not afraid to attack people, or causes them mental rifts of agonizing fear.
http://www.dragonflycave.com/sprites/gen5/bw/630.png
Mara ♀
Mara is a reflection of Isa's twistedness, seemingly obsessed about bones and hates anything going to waste. She also performs all of the 'clean up' for Isa's jobs and when asked about if someone is dead or not, Mara is the one to know about it.
http://www.dragonflycave.com/sprites/gen5/bw/550red.png
Yerazig ♀
Yerazig is a tactful, perfect little liar of a spy who gets every bit of information Isa needs if she has to do some form of recon work. Yerazig is almost never seen with Isa though, as she is constantly snooping around for information, blending in with the local wildlife for her own benefit.

One down, two to go! Hopefully she was the hardest one to write... Otherwise it could take a little while to type out my other two characters. xD
Name: Alara Rein
Age: 16
Role: Freelancer
Gender: Female
Appearance: Alana is a small wisp of a girl, only reaching 5’ tall and only weighing around 90 pounds. She appears so small and frail that many people assume she is sickly, but she can display a surprising amount of speed and endurance when she needs to. Her clothing isn’t anything spectacular: white tennis shoes stained many times over with dirt and grass, pale jeans that may have once been dark with only a vestige of the original color still remaining, a crčme-colored t-shirt, and a pure white sweatshirt which is typically tied around her waist but sees use in particularly cold weather. There’s a rough, dark green backpack normally slung over her shoulder which has obviously seen better days, frayed and stained with zippers which no longer work and pockets ripped open. Her skin is naturally very pale, and her blonde hair is so light in color that it could almost be mistaken as white. Her eyes deviate a little from the rest of her color palette, which is mostly stereotypical with an ice theme, and are a bright emerald green.
Personality: Alara’s personality almost seems to be a strange combination of two polar opposites. One part of her is shy, demure, quiet, and cowardly. The other is confident, brave, adventurous, and outgoing. These are two very conflicting sets of emotions, but they come out in different situations. Socially, she follows the first set of emotions; around people she is shy and unsure, uncomfortable talking or dealing with people. She tends to jump when people speak to her, as if she wasn’t expecting it and would very much like to bolt instead of stick around.
The other side of her personality deals with herself, when faced with any physical or mental challenge Alara is often overly confident in her ability to deal with it. She loves adventures and exploring the wilderness looking for ruins or abandoned buildings or hidden grottos. And if some else asks her to do a task, her awkward social skills fade away beneath her excitement, and she becomes a bundle of focus and energy until the job is complete.
History: Alara’s family was part of a traveling group of entertainers. They would travel region to region, town to town and put on shows. The troupe used both pokémon and human acts and as soon as she was old enough, Alara began training to be an acrobat. She never was the best acrobat, but she never wanted to be, instead she developed a love for pokémon. Often she would spend her time watching the pokémon acts practice instead of practicing her own act, she was enthralled. For a while her parents tried to keep her away from pokémon, as they always viewed pokémon as dangerous beasts, but eventually they gave up and by the time she was six, Alara was given a pokémon of her own, a Kirlia a member of the troupe had captured while they were traveling in Hoenn.
Alara and her Kirlia, which she promptly named Demi, were in separable. She spent all of her free time playing and training with her pokémon, and soon she began training for a pokémon act with various pokémon she caught from many regions. She was oblivious to the rising political storm against pokémon. None of the traveling troupe bothered with pokémon licensing, they figured that ENDoG would soon blow over and things would return to normal. No one was prepared for a sudden ENDoG raid on their camp while they were in Johto.
In the resulting confusion, Alara only managed to escape with one of her pokémon, Demi. Alara was heartbroken by the loss of her other pokémon, and rather than taking the risk of returning to the camp and having her last friend taken from her, she decided to set out on her own.
From then on she simply traveled. Eventually Demi evolved into a Gardevoir, and somehow, Alara managed to get a license for Demi, although the authenticity of it could be called into question. She has made a causal connection with the freelancer organization, sometime carrying important items or messages between cities or regions that can’t be sent through other means. However, she still prefers to wander by herself, and has found herself inexplicably drawn to the colder regions of the world, and recently she has been having dreams to match. It seems that all she has to do is close her eyes to summon to her mind images of a great majestic bird, her image of it almost obscured by a roaring blizzard, as it thrashes around in pain. Now, she has more of a goal than she has ever had before: to figure out why.

Demi ♀
The bond between Demi and Alara has always been strong. They've been together for such a long time and they are constant traveling companions. Demi is a rather mellow pokémon, she doesn't typically allow emotions to influence her in battle. Demi is constant on the lookout for danger and considers Alara's protection to be her number one priority, almost never staying in her pokéball since Alara went through the trouble of actually getting a license for her. She is cautious and level headed, and often warns Alara to be careful when she's in a more adventurous mood, warnings that are never headed.
Unlicensed:
http://www.dragonflycave.com/sprites/gen4/hgss/473.png
Rush ♂
Alara found Rush as a Swinub in Ice Path soon after the incident which started her solo wanderings. The little swinub just walked right up to her and started playing with Demi, and Alara quickly became attached to the charming little creature. Now, Rush still does enjoy playing, but it's a bit harder to play than in days of old. When out in the wilderness, Alara will often ride on his back. Rush is easily her strongest battler and he enjoys a good fight, always proud to show off his strength.
http://www.dragonflycave.com/sprites/gen4/hgss/471.png
Sheer ♂
Sheer is quite... different from Alara's other pokémon. Alara found him hidden in a side alley in Castelia City, bruised and dirty, obviously abused and mistreated. She cleaned him up, and eventually took him in as her own, but he has never fully gotten over his past. He wouldn't hurt Alara and his companions, but he relishes the chance to hurt other pokémon or people in combat and enjoys seeing the pain of others in pain, looking over them with a cruel haughtiness. Alara tries her best to mellow him down, but so far, she hasn't had much success.
http://www.dragonflycave.com/sprites/gen4/hgss/459.png
Conif ♂
Conif is Alara's most recent capture, she's only had him for a little while, and the best way to describe him is... derpy. Conif tends to waddle about in an almost comedic manner, and when surprised he has the tendency to fall over onto his back. He is comedic and adorable, but he isn't a fighter, although Alara does find his ability to summon hail and snow very useful in battle.
Mark:
Articuno: The ability to become invisible in snow fall, and create their own snow fall. May also freeze moisture in the air to create a thick mist that others cannot see through.
Signature Move: Sheer Cold
Flying: More agile than a normal human. More graceful and far more persuasive
Ice: Durable in colder weather, naturally more sensitive to heat. Harder to freeze to death.
Name: Destrian “Des”
Age: 23
Role: Freelancer
Gender: Male
Appearance: Destrian stands at a relatively modest 5’ 8” tall and weighs about 125 pounds. He certainly isn’t the brawniest male around, but a large amount of his weight is wrapped up in well-toned muscle. He doesn’t see much of a use for fancy, stylized clothes and instead goes for efficiency in what he wears: sturdy black combat boots, tan cargo pants that almost appear to be made out of pockets, considering how many pockets they have, and a plain black t-shirt. He almost always has a faded tan messenger back slung over one of his shoulders. On his hands he wears a wide variety of rings which seem to change almost daily, he rarely wears the same ring for more than a day, constantly changing them and switching them out.
In general he keeps his facial expression a cool seriousness, rarely letting flickers of emotion through. He has long brown hair that falls to around his shoulders; he’s meant to have it cut but at the same time he simply can’t be bothered to follow through the action. His eyes are a stormy grey color, but that color is rarely noticed because most times, his pupils appear white. This is actually based off of something in real life called leukocoria although this would be an example of an extremely rare and severe case. His pupils reflect a white color except, when he is in absolute or near-absolute darkness. His mannerisms show that he may have weak vision because of this, as he will often jerk his head if a sound surprises him and just in general seems to rely more on his hearing than a normal human would.
Personality: Destrian is cold, harsh, and brusque. He has an intense distrust for those that he doesn’t know, and he isn’t afraid to show it. He doesn’t make friends, only acquaintances, and anyone who tries to get close to him will receive a stronger dose of his dislike and distrust than normal. To him everyone has an angle, and people only associate with other people to get something from them. He enjoys causing emotional pain in others and he sees it as doing them a favor, toughening them up to the way the world really works. Despite his ice queen type personality, he isn’t arrogant and readily admits that he isn’t better than or above other people in any way.
Commendable traits are hard to find in Destrian, but even those who hate him can testify that Destrian is a highly dedicated individual. Once he’s in something, he’s in it for good and is willing to go to whatever lengths necessary to get it done. That’s how he ended up stuck with what he considers the lost cause of the freelancers. He openly criticizes there mission and often remarks about how hopeless they are as a whole, but yet he sticks with them. Don’t ask why though or you’re going to regret it.
History: Destrian began life in a happy little Cerulean city family composed of his mother, father, and twin sister. For a short time his life was normal, but this most certainly didn’t last. At the age of six, Destrian was kidnapped. The perpetrators were desperate Team Rocket members looking for more recruits. They kept him locked up for years on end, harming him both emotionally and physically until the young boy’s spirit was broken.
When Team Rocket was in its prime, Destrian was an exemplary member, ruthless, cunning, and dedicated. He’d follow any order without question, and was clever enough to solve problems on his own. He was even rewarded with a special gift pokémon after an especially exemplary performance, and he was highly valued as someone who could get the job done by his superiors. When Team Rocket started to fall, his dedication suddenly disappeared, and he left without a trace. Years of pent up rage at the organization and some more… personal reasons prompted the shift, and he never looked back.
From there, he traveled to Hoenn, taking up menial labor to support himself. It was here that his connection with the Freelancers was formed. For reasons he will not discuss, he suddenly left the Hoenn Freelancer movement, and he now lives in Unova, trying to stay under the radar and to scrap up enough money to live. Like the other Marked, his dreams have started, but he ignores them, writing them off as recurring nightmares, and that is how he will remain, unless he can be spurred into action.
(I realize that several points in his history are super ambiguous, but I prefer it that way. They're in my head, I just don't want to write them out, and I'm trying to finish Su's quickly so I can get into the rp. Hope that's okay!)
Pokemon:
http://www.dragonflycave.com/sprites/gen5/bw/022.png
Prince ♂
Prince is Destrian's only remaining pokémon from his Team Rocket days. He received Prince as a gift for an exceptionally well job done. Prince is quite remarkable for a Fearow as he's a good three feet taller than a regular Fearow, standing at an impressive seven feet when on the ground. Personality wise, Prince is a lot like Destrian; he's just there to get the job done, no matter what the cost. Anything else is unimportant.
http://www.dragonflycave.com/sprites/gen4/dp/264.png
Blur ♀
Blur is the fun loving one out of Destrian's pokémon. She likes to mess around, and doesn't see the danger in having a little fun, on the job or off. Her favorite game is running circles around someone, but she can create many more on the fly. In the wild, she'll often scout for Destrian, hopefully outrunning any trouble she might get into.
http://www.dragonflycave.com/sprites/gen5/bw/429.png
Misery ♀
Despite her depressing name, Misery is a rather kind pokémon, almost motherly in fact. She genuinely cares for her trainer and partners, and worries about their safety, often expressing noises of concern when a new dangerous task is undertaken. If she had it her way, Destrian would just settle down and keep out of danger, but since she doesn't have it her way, she makes due with what she has.
http://www.dragonflycave.com/sprites/gen5/bw/614.png
Beartic ♂
Simply put, even Destrian is scared of Beartic. In Slateport city a few years back, he killed an ENDoG grunt in a fit of rage and decided to grab a pokéball off the dead body before fleeing as quickly as he could. He has absolutely no control over the pokémon and when it's released it lashes out at whatever it can in a bloodthirsty rage. When he has to use the Beartic he points it in the direction of the enemy and tries to stand as far away as possible so as not to be the target of it's seemingly never ending rage.
Mark: Regice: Super cooling the air around the person, capable of making people fall into a hypothermic state quickly. The mass of cold, or even masses of countering heat, do not bother the person.
Signature Move: Ice Beam
Ice: Durable in colder weather, naturally more sensitive to heat. Harder to freeze
Name: Ento
Age: 20
Role: Freelancer
Gender: Male
Appearance: Ento stand at about 5’10” tall, with a lean but obviously muscular build. On his feet, he wears simple leather boots. In fact, most of his clothes seem outdoorsy and almost like they’re in a style of the past. His pants are brown canvas pants and he wears a rough leather belt around his waist. He has a slightly large green t-shirt, and underneath a long-sleeved brown undershirt. He wears leather gloves on his hands and a dark green scarf around his neck. Although not immediately visible, on his waist he has a pair of daggers, well taken care of and well used.
Ento’s face is pretty nondescript, and that’s the way he likes it. He has a very generic tan skin tone, a facial structure that is rather average, not too ugly and not super handsome or attractive. His eyes are a dark brown color, and his hair isn’t much lighter. It isn’t super long or super short, falling down to around his ears until stopping. Altogether, very nondescript.
Personality: Ento is a nice guy, in general. He isn’t the kindest person in the world, but he does have a certain kindness about him, and people tend to pick up on that and respond warmly to it. He is confident and self-assured, and possibly a bit reckless in the heat of the moment, but he isn’t proud or arrogant. He’s very deliberative, he always likes to have a plan that is solid and makes sense, and strongly dislikes winging a whole plan completely, preferring to always have a base skeleton of a plan to fall back onto. When he gets into a fighting mode though, he turns… ruthless. He has no problem killing and rarely shows mercy to his enemies. He doesn’t want to give them a chance to hunt him down later and stab him in the back when he isn’t looking. In combat, ruthless, cold efficiency is his motto.
History: Ento was born as William Charles Enderson, son of a high ranking and well paid Hoenn military officer. While he was quite the spoiled child, he wasn’t a brat, and everyone who met him remarked that he was the kindest boy they had met. The little boy had a particular love for pokémon and his parents encouraged that, giving him any pokémon he asked for. When he was ten and eleven, he had a fairly successful run in Hoenn’s contest scene, but he eventually stopped enjoying contests, and even if he had continued, his run wouldn’t have lasted for long.
When his father became part of ENDoG, everything changed. His father was a high ranking official, and he had appearances to keep up, so he immediately ordered his son to release all his pokémon. William didn’t really have much of a choice, and he released most of his pokémon, but he kept a few hidden and for quite a few years, this is how it went. William would take out his hidden pokémon when he could, sneaking around behind his father’s back. The rest of his time was spent in schooling, and he was a very promising and adept student. Most assumed he would eventually follow in his father’s footsteps and become a high ranking ENDoG officer or scientist.
Just after he had finished school, William and his father had an argument. William’s father had signed him up to join ENDoG as soon as possible, and William strongly refused. The argument reached its peak and William quickly stormed off, finding solace in the company of his pokémon. But William’s father was a crafty man, and he followed William himself. The resulting argument was even more heated than the first. William’s father gave William a choice: give up his pokémon and go to the academy or be arrested as a freelancer and have his pokémon killed. In a fit of rage, he attacked his father, using a pair of daggers his father had given to him for his 18th birthday. Even though they were only meant to be ornamental, a dagger is a dagger, and by the end of the confrontation, his father lay dead.
Utterly confused and soon to be a fugitive, William did what any smart murderer would do: flee the country. He got the first ticket to Sinnoh he could, and hoped that was the end of it. Of course, he wasn’t the smartest murderer around, and he bought the tickets in his own name, so when he arrived in Sinnoh, he received a nice welcoming committee courtesy of the ENDoG. However, just as he was to be arrested, the ENDoG team was assailed by Freelancers. The details of the fight aren’t important, but at the end, he was approached by a woman who introduced herself as Cynthia. The freelancers had heard of him, and were kindly demanding he help them with whatever information he had on ENDoG in exchange for protection. William accepted.
The rest is history. William changed his name to Ento for security’s sake, and tends to stick with Cynthia, feeling indebted to her. However, he has also proven to be an effective assassin, taking out lower ranking officials or ENDoG sympathizers. He and his squad of pokémon have also earned themselves a reputation for being able to quickly dispatch an entire ENDoG patrol before a warning can be raised, for he has trained his pokémon to be exactly like himself, quick, brutal, and efficient. Lately, he’s been noticing his combat skills improving past what even he thought possible, and he has been having strange dreams on occasion. He’s mentioned it offhandedly to Cynthia, but for the most part, he ignores it and considers it unimportant.
Pokemon:
http://www.dragonflycave.com/sprites/gen5/bw/277.png
Soria ♀
Soria is a dependable pokémon. She serves as Ento's lookout, gathering intel before missions. She tends to like a little bit of love before cooperating with Ento, a scratch here or a compliment there, and she's proud of her speed and agility. For recon purposes, Ento actually has a small camera that he can attach to Soria if he wants a bird's eye view.
http://www.dragonflycave.com/sprites/gen4/pt/254.png
Skitter ♂
Skitter is Ento's oldest companion, and it shows. Skitter is practically a reflection of Ento, kind and considerate outside of combat, deadly cold, efficient, and ruthless in it. He enjoys a good fight, and is often disappointed by the nature of Ento's missions, because extended combat is avoided, but he understands the reasons and doesn't complain.
http://www.dragonflycave.com/sprites/gen4/pt/475.png
Rell ♂
Rell is the most nondescript of Ento's pokémon. When outside of his pokéball, he tends to take a bodyguard like appearance, always wary and on the lookout for threats too his master. He's the one most likely to be there to take a bullet for Ento, and the two trust each other completely.
http://www.dragonflycave.com/sprites/gen4/hgss/frame2/448.png
Rue ♀
Rue and Ento don't get along in the slightest. Ento received her as a gift from a dying Freelancer, and the two have been disagreeing every since. Rue doesn't like the nature of their missions, the ruthlessness and the killing involved, and she isn't afraid to express that. In combat, she's the one that will spare the life of an opponent if it comes to life or death, and she holds herself as morally superior to the rest of the team because of that, acting somewhat arrogant to them because of it. She is loyal however, and will begrudgingly accept most commands. Kill commands are out of the question, but besides those she hasn't refused a command yet.
Mark:
Virizion: Agility and acrobatic skills that allows the person to dodge almost any blow made in close quarters combat.
Signature Move: Sacred Sword
Grass: Hiding out in nature is no problem, more endurance than the usual human. Easily approachable.
Fighting: Your presence around others empowers them, better people skills, easy to convince others.
Other: When he expects or is in combat, Ento wears his scarf over his nose to obscure his face, so while ENDoG might have footage of him, they wouldn’t really be seeing much. Of course, his outfit is pretty easy to pick out in a crowd...

Don't feel bad. Most of my military knowledge comes from action movies and games like Call of Duty, Battlefield, Metal Gear Solid, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Counter Strike, and so on. Basically, a Hollywood and gamer education. :P
Don't fret about the military stuff. If you need stuff for Arianne to do, I'd say trying to capture the remaining legendaries would be the best bet.

Name: Captain Martin "Razorhawk" Mendez
Age: 32
Role: ENDoG Commando
Gender: Male
Appearance: The dude in the center (http://images.psxextreme.com/screenshots/ps3_killzone2/ps3_killzone_36.jpg)
Martin is six feet, four inches tall and weighs in at about 230 pounds. He has a fairly large, muscular build that has been built up over the course of twelve years of intensive combat and weight training. His body also has plenty of scars, but none of them are truly severe or crippling. He has short, dirty blonde hair on his head, though most of it is covered by a black bandana. Meanwhile, he has a gruff five o' clock shadow for a beard.
For clothing, Martin wears typical ENDoG soldier urban combat armor, consisting of a pair of dark gray pants with kneepads, utility buckles around the ankles and thighs, and a utility belt around his waist. Meanwhile, he wears an armored combat vest, elbow guards, and black fingerless gloves.
Martin isn't very fast or agile, but his strength lies in his physical prowess and his endurance, able to take several hits and just bite through the pain. While being a specialist in heavy weapons, Martin is still very capable with smaller arms, and he can definitely handle himself in a rough fist fight. He also handles gunner positions of armored vehicles exceptionally well, although he is a very capable driver.
Personality: Tough, gritty, hardcore, Martin has seen plenty of combat action and he always thirsts for more. Martin doesn't fear death and he doesn't fear Pokémon either, which he knows will never be up to snuff with humans as long as Pokémon don't know how to use weapons or drive vehicles. To him, they're simply expendable dogs of war. He feels anyone who thinks Pokémon are equal to humans is a stupid idiot who knows nothing about comparing actual mental capacity. He also doesn't see the legendaries as being any kind of deity or god. To him, they're just like all the others with a bit more power, but they're still under humans and always will be.
Martin doesn't crave subtlety either. He's better at resourceful improvising than planning, but he isn't stupid and at least tries to be familiar with the basics. Still, Martin doesn't like stealth approaches. He is more like the charging bull than the sly fox, and he'd rather fight the resistance with as much firepower as possible. He personally likes it when the odds are horribly stacked against his enemies and the resulting battle is nothing but a massacre. He also gets a kick out of overkill, such as using rocket launchers to take out small, unevolved Pokémon or using a tank cannon on a single enemy soldier.
In combat, Martin likes humor, sarcasm, and enjoys taunting his enemies. He treats war and combat like a game, and he doesn't care for formalities. A lot of his methods are definitely unorthodox, and he doesn't care about showing his enemies any respect or dignity. To him, there's only one rule of war: there's only one winning side and that's the one that can kick the asses of the others the hardest.
History: Martin was born at Fort Winterfield in Western Johto, near Olivine City. His mother, Janet Mendez, was a military research scientist while his father, Warrant Officer Logan Mendez, was a sniper for the Johto Special Forces. He was born to a family of five, with a younger brother named Hank and a younger sister named Martina. Today, Hank is a Lieutenant for ENDoG's naval forces, and Gunnery Sergeant Martina is currently an ENDoG military reconnaissance specialist. His parents are still alive, but they've both retired from their positions.
As a child, Martin wasn't focused on academics as much as physical training. At times, he was sometimes a bully to younger, weaker kids at the academy, but he stopped wasting his time with them by the time he was a teen. When he turned 16, he enrolled into military training, and even from the start, he grew to just shrug off pain and physical hardship. Crawling through mud and obstacle courses felt completely natural to him, and he liked rope climbing. However, his true love was firing ranges and combat training.
Martin was not very keen on becoming a closely bonded companion to his Pokémon. He doesn't use them for much and he certainly wouldn't give up his life to save them either. To him, they're just dogs of war that need to look after their own hides when the bullets start flying. If they die, they die and that's just how life goes. He also agrees with the ENDoG mission that Pokémon are definitely not like humans and are definitely not for civilians to be walking around with.
Martin has completed over forty-three missions, thirty of which were with the Johto Special Forces, and thirteen of which were completed under the ENDoG Special Forces. He finds the resistance against ENDoG quite pathetic and under-equipped, but he doesn't let his guard down and still handles them like he would approach any enemy soldier. He'd bully them all the same.
Pokémon:
Name: Grind
Species: Mightyena
Gender: Male
Appearance: Rugged, unkempt, and savage, Grind is a true dog of war, often released and left to fend to himself in the middle of combat, seeming to live only to destroy and kill whatever's on the opposite side. He has plenty of scars and a damaged left ear.
Personality: Grind is simply a destructive beast who lives only to satisfy his ravaging hunger for combat and warfare. He cares nothing about his own personal safety, only to destroy whatever enemy is in front of him in the most grizzly way possible. On occasion, he gets especially blood-drunk after a lot of slaughter, making him go berserk. At that point, Martin recalls him before he might turn on his own allies and would have to be put down.
Other: Grind is deaf in his left ear, mostly due to the fact this was where a Machoke struck him with his fist.
Name: Slag
Species: Skuntank
Gender: Male
Appearance: Darker than most others of his kind, Slag also looks rugged and rough, definitely not mindful of personal appearance. He's also larger than most Skuntanks, and as a result, throws his weight around.
Personality: Slag simply likes to make others suffer, often with making them deadly sick. He laughs at the misery of the others, never takes anything seriously, and loves making enemy Pokémon absolutely irate.
Other: He often likes defiling things, like enemy corpses.
Name: Kold
Species: Blastoise
Gender: Male
Appearance: Kold is a beast of war, covered with various scars and marks of combat. His claws also show evidence of having been using many times, but his eyes still have that wild, berserk look in them.
Personality: Kold is simply a monster that goes all out with fighting with the belief that there is no better death than a death in combat. While he's been injured more times than he can count, he has yet to find anyone or anything that has been able to stop him.
Other: Kold has developed the habit of spitting on every kill he makes.
Name: Visor
Species: Raichu
Gender: Male
Appearance: Bigger and tougher, Visor could be a bully to even other Raichus, but he hasn't run into too many of them. Like the others, he has a couple scars.
Personality: Visor is a bit different from the others in the way that he serves more as a scout than as a fighter. He aspires to be respected, but he knows the full story behind ENDoG's mission in the way that he'll never be regarded as important as a human. Regardless, he likes watching combat and death from afar.
Other: Visor has basic drawing skills, which he uses to report his scouting finds to Martin by drawing symbols, such as squares and rectangles for buildings and circles for enemy unit locations. He also knows a little about numbers, as well as basic addition and subtraction.
Rank: Captain
Other: Martin has full proficiency in large, two-handed heavy weapons. He is also very skilled with explosives and demolitions, knowing where to hit when it comes to structural weakpoints.

Okay, Arianne and Myra and a bunch of greenhorn recruits are now off to party in Virbank!
Let's make everything turn sour, shall we?
Sabi, did you want to go through with having Shay create some havoc, or should I invent something?
Saraibre Ryu
05-17-2013, 06:14 AM
Well Shay is waaaaay on the other side of Unova right now, so she doesn't quite have a reason to leave until nightfall. I'm assuming it's going to be nighttime in Unova soon anyway. She's not one to cause a problem, she ones to remain invisible. If anything was going to happen, it might have to be later on. XD
I could make an excuse for her to go to Virbank? She might be anti-social but she has a few contacts here and there.
FedoraChar
05-17-2013, 06:27 AM
Hmm... good point(s). Well, you could do that, or I could just invent something. A crazy terrorist attack or something, IDK. Or we could have one of the legendary Pokemon make an attack (although Rayquaza seems to be giving everyone a run for their money)
Saraibre Ryu
05-17-2013, 06:31 AM
Hmm... I have an idea and it involves Mewtwo, but not necessarily an attack persay. A terrorist attack would want her to avoid the place. The only thing is your partiers might need to be out for a few hours into the wee hours of the morning. XD

Mewtwo? Oh, that sounds interesting! :D

So any ENDoG agents feel like bringing in an injured vigilante outside of a warehouse in Mistralton city? I could go with a change, and having Jamie captured might be interesting ha ha

I'm waiting on Socratic Sarcasm to resolve an issue regarding what's transpiring at Kyurem's glacier. The part with Doc's traps doesn't make any sense to me, and I'll be honest, this would be the first time an opposing RPer has ever expected me to start killing off my own forces on their character's behalf, even though I feel there's something about the situation aside from all that which doesn't quite make sense. Doc was never there to install traps, plus I don't even know what kind of traps could have been placed in that setting. Therefore, I'm going to need Socratic to resolve this and explain in detail how this is going on.
So any ENDoG agents feel like bringing in an injured vigilante outside of a warehouse in Mistralton city? I could go with a change, and having Jamie captured might be interesting ha ha
Eh heh, I don't recommend letting Jamie get captured. I don't think you'd find the experience of being in ENDoG custody "interesting," unless you'd be okay with Jamie's fingers being cut off one at a time, followed by his tongue, then his ears, and then probably onto things that would take Jamie out of the gene pool for good. Yeah...
Anyway, if you catch my drift, considering what Jamie's done, to ENDoG, he's one dead puppy. I wouldn't let him get captured, because it wouldn't make any sense for ENDoG to not butcher him alive the second they have their hands on him considering how Miles himself marked him for death.

Hmm well how do I get him out of this situation without GodModding? Seeing as he hasn't been hurt yet, I figured the time for some misfortune has come ha ha.

A bullet to the calf muscle area is far from lethal, provided he finds a way to stop the bleeding. I don't get why you had him get shot in the first place though. From past experiences, letting your character get captured by other characters rarely ever turns out well.

I figured things were going too well for him recently. He managed to stop them capturing Rayquaza, sneak away from a psychotic assassin, and torch a shipment of weapons. I need to balance it a bit with some bad stuff. When someone else posts, I will make a post for him to escape.

Considering how many assets ENDoG has, attacks like that don't really need to be balanced. Jamie and the other Freelancers really should be entitled to a little more luck than usual considering how much they're up against.
My main issue with Socratic's post is it doesn't really make too much logical sense. Jamie's being resourceful and is using whatever he can get his hands on to attack, also while using pretty much all four of his Pokemon resourcefully. Doc, on the other hand, is only using a single Frosslass to attempt to take down hundreds of already engaged ENDoG soldiers. That, and I'm not crazy about the way Socratic expects me to design "clever" traps for these guys to stupidly stumble into when Doc was never at the glacier in the first place . Something about that just doesn't seem right even if I give Doc the benefit of the doubt.

Doc has them set up there because that's where he lives, which is why Doc's portion of the post mentions that that's where he's going after busting Jingka out.

I checked Doc's history and that detail isn't mentioned anywhere. Nor is any connection to Kyurem. I find it's a little too convenient you can have that entire glacier rigged with booby traps just on this basis alone.

I see things have slowed down. Currently, my thoughts are based on this:
I'd like Miles to build up some kind of machinery or weaponry to challenge the Freelancers, but I'm not sure how the guys on the Freelancers side are going to react to that. Does it make it seem like ENDoG is too overwhelming at the moment, or would adding more challenging ENDoG ordinance and military weaponry add to the fun and challenge in ways that the Freelancer RPers would enjoy and welcome? If it does seem like I'm pushing on a lot of overkill by adding all this stuff, let me know, and I'll simply focus on using ENDoG's already existing resources and not keep adding onto a pile of stuff that may already seem like too much to deal with. At the moment, I'm not sure how to continue with Kahane's posts, and I'd like to have some kind of response from the Freelancer RPers regarding this. It would be a big help with regards to how Kahane reacts in a way that's fun and challenging for everyone else.
With regards to Captain Mendez's actions, I'm targeting Kyurem and despite how I'd like for Socratic Sarcasm to have a chance to respond and/or give other RPers a chance to intercept Kyurem's capture, I could still keep going with him. But I don't want to nab him by pulling Neos (rapid-fire posting after each post made by another role player), since that just seems grossly cheap.
Let me know your thoughts, but worse case scenario, if no one responds, I plan on having Kahane just forget about the research and development stuff and just use what already exists. That, and I think I'll pull him out of the command center and get him going mobile. Otherwise, it may feel that for most Freelancers, he's an impossible guy to ever get to, thus killing the encouragement to try and fight it out.

I will be posting again after some more people have posted. Now that Jet has the information that he has, he might become like Jamie (stopping ENDoG from catching legendary Pokemon). Unless ENDoG have a way of knowing he has the only copy Stevens research, then he might be on the run from them. I will wait for more posts, and act accordingly.

On Miles: I have no judgement on him developing more tech, but him going out into the field this early in game seems to be OoC. He seems to have a power above all mentality, and that's endangered if his life is. I'd keep him locked up until later in the game, preferably when something/someone lures him personally out.
On Mendez: I'll have a post up this weekend. I just got busy right now. I'll have lots of downtime now.

Currently, ENDoG seems a little bit overwhelming to me, but if you keep developing tech, whatever, I won't mind too much.
Last week of school kills my ability to post. If I can get one up, I will.

Neo, I think ENDoG seems a tad overwhelming at the time, but that's partially because I haven't been able to post too well lately. Later in the RP, him pulling out a boatload of new tech would be an interesting challenge, but for now it seems to be coming a bit fast. It's not too huge an issue in my opinion, though.
But I'm kind of having a problem, which comes of a bad habit that I seem to have carried from another RP (Modern Mythology for those that know it) into this one: I keep locking my characters into several-post arcs that don't carry them near others' characters. For those interested, here's the itinerary: Nadra is going to solicit help from Marlon in Humilau in tracking down and taking down the sub, while Thomas is going to find out that a Freelancer saved Rayquaza, get mad, and get transferred somewhere. Now, I'm flexible with Nadra's route. If there's anyone along the Unova coast who'd be interested in helping jailbreak a bird, that would be great. The same thing with Thomas: I'm trying to figure out where to send him. I can figure something out if need be, but if there's anyone who'd relish some conflict, let me know and I can try to make it work. Thanks, guys, and sorry for my continued tardiness! D:

No prob, I could keep the R&D stuff mild for now. I don't think anyone likes it when the underdog gets slammed with too much overkill. As for Kahane going mobile, I kind of think it's the opposite case. Keeping him enclosed in a particular area kind of implies he fears the outside world too much, whereas the approach of him going anywhere he wants whenever he wants and use his power to get everything to go his way just seems more appropriate.

Guys, I'm thinking I'm going to drop out of the RP :(
Between all the school work, I think I'd like to focus my free-time looking for fan-fictions to feature on the main site, as well as work on a story of my own. A thousand pardons, but I just can't dedicate myself to this anymore ^^'
Cobalt, you can take up my character if you'd like, but good luck with the rest of the RP guys! :)

Just so people know, I'm not going to be around for the next two weeks either. I have a trip to France and Belgium starting tomorrow, and I'm not going to be back until June 24th. That's kind of the reason why I also rushed to make another post for Miles and Captain Mendez.
However, I'm perfectly okay with people launching attacks against my characters, especially Socratic against Captain Mendez. Just note that I won't be able to address them until I get back.
