Music Sub Forum in The Creative Nook

Hi.

So, I was looking at a thread of someone's music they wrote themselves, and then something occurred to me: "Why isn't there a section dedicated to the posting of music?" Considering the fact that there is a section for every other kind of art, I think there should be a section in The Creative Nook just for Music. I can think of 4 members who write music or play instruments off the top of my head, and I am sure there are more than that.

I don't think there really is enough activity to warrant a separate forum. Even if 4 people share their music, that's only 4 threads, not enough to fill a board, sadly. :( We prefer to have active boards with different kinds of threads mixed in than separate, inactive ones with only a few threads, because those make the forum look bad and potentially put people off joining. Of course if the number of musicians at PXR continues to grow, we can always add a board in the future! If you're interested in making the board happen then the best thing to do is post music and encourage others to do the same!

Now that you mention this, I'm REALLY not sure how I posted this suggestion without the thought once occurring to me that the fact that a board like this doesn't already exist is probably because it wouldn't get enough activity to justify making it.

Im going to go ahead and close this. Sarah said it best There's not enough activity to justify a sub forum. However we will open back up the discussion if more musicians join the forum and activity for this goes up.
