Favourite names

Does anyone have favourite names? Stuff like a name you would prefer to your real name, or maybe you've picked out the names of your future children already or you just like particular names!

My favourite boys names are Charlie, Theodore, Steven and Finn and for girls I like Alice, Matilda, Katie and Ella. I usually use names I like for the characters in my stories.

The names I like are USUALLY common names, but there are some exceptions.

Favorite boy names: Michael(Is it weird I put my own name on this list?), Joseph, and... Well, I'm kinda picky with boy names. Can't think of any more off the top of my head.

Favorite girl names: Isabella, Jennifer, Alice, and Juliana. Oh, and for some reason Ive always liked the name Hope, even though Ive never actually met anyone with that name. I don't even know where I heard it used as a name.

Favorite girl name would have to be Dianna, I don't know why but it's simply an adorable name .3.

Well, there's Wayne Squirtle, Mayor Wayne, and Wayne something (AKA Fish Guy). So it's clear that I love the name. Normally, that'd be where I would've included a joke response, but I thought I'd mix things up a bit.
And yes, it's because of Batman. Yes. All three.

I don't really have favourite names. I never want kids so I don't have to worry about choosing any for them. xD I do have a fondness for female names that end with a. Dunno why. xP

I actually associate a lot of preconception and expectation with names. Don't know why but most names give me very distinct ideas of what to expect of people and so a person's name has to fit their look, their personality, that kind of thing. Names are extremely important as an identifier for characters, as far as I'm concerned, and whether it's a video game character or one of my tabletop RPG characters, I agonize over names frequently. I've even restarted video game play-throughs specifically because the name I chose didn't feel right for the character (like I did for my X game last night). I also have a mercurial mood for names (which is obvious from the frequency with which I've changed names since I joined), but generally I like either unusual names (such as Maddox and Braddock, the names of my trainers in Y and X respectively), or certain more common names that can be shortened easily, Thomas/Tom, Jackson/Jack, and Gabriel/Gabe, for instance. I'm also a big fan of Irish Gaelic and Russian names, but that's because I love the way the languages sound.

I really like Greek names. They're so pretty and have vast meaning behind them!

Or just anything that sounds cool and awesome and won't be misspelled by people. Like my name is a very coomon victim I might lie and say Luke instead.

My favorite female names would have to be Zenith and Shion. Niah is another name that I really like.

My favorite male names are Kratos and Lein (rhymes with 'lane'). I also really like Levinas.
