E3 2014: Discussion

Well, guys, it's that time of year! Tomorrow (June 10th) marks the beginning of the Electronic Entertainment Expo! No doubt we're going to get a flood of news spilling in here for the next few days; this thread's for discussing all that lovely jazz. Share the news, give your two cents, board the hype train, ect, ect.

Microsoft, EA, and Ubisoft have already given their press conference addresses, and in a few hours Sony will give theirs. The Nintendo conference is scheduled for 9:00 PDT tomorrow. So let's kick off this discussion with this question:

What are you excited for during this year's E3?

Personally, I'm looking forward to hearing more about Super Smash Bros, Pokemon ORAS, Hyrule Warriors, and anything related to Kingdom Hearts. :) I haven't watched any of the press conferences yet, but I'm gonna take a look at the E3 website to see if I missed anything good xD

I've been watching the conferences since this morning while doing homework, and I have to say I'm pretty excited about what's already been shown...and oddly enough, a large number are FPSs... Hoping to hear more from/about Oculus VR and the Rift since one of my wonderful instructors has me wanting a DK2, as well as KH and FF.

I definitely can't wait to see some of EA's new stuff, as well as most of the stuff Ubisoft shared, and I'm in the middle of Sony's conference right now...and all I have to say so far is Destiny and Dead Island 2. XD

I'm looking forward to this Captain toad thing despite not having a Wii U. It seems like they're trying something new with the Mario series, which is nice. Also Kirby rainbow curse looks beautiful o3o

Yes, all of this! Hyrule Warriors is looking better than it seemed in the last trailer. And also Splatoon! Seems like a lot of fun.

Right now I'm watching the livestreaming of the SSB tournament and it's pretty cool. xD Someone just won. lel. Anyway, Yoshi's Woolly World looked pretty cool actually. xD Little Big Planet 3, hooray! 8D AND OMG ROBOT CHICKEN ANIMATION IN NINTENDO'S E3 VIDEO. BEST. EVER. And omg Reggie is awesome. XD Freaking love him.

Dragon Age: Inquisition looks so cool. *v* I wish they'd announce new Mass Effect news already. ;~; Verrry interested about that new mysterious Bioware game... Also intrigued by Rise of the Tomb Raider. It's so awesome that they focused on how much it affected her mentally... It'll be interesting to see more on it. c:

Just got home and caught up with the Nintendo news! :D

1st--ZELDA!!!!! *drooling all over self* It looks so pretty 8'D My gosh, though, what's up with the futuristic lazers and exploding arrows and gaaaaaah

2nd--Midna??? HUZZAH!

3rd--Yoshi's Wooly World is pure eye candy *o* It looks beautiful! I'm not a huge fan of side-scrolling games, but I might have to give it a try! :D

4th--Pokemon ORAS! :D Somehow, all the other stuff kinda dulled its effect, but hey--I'm excited for it! :D It shall be epic!

5th--Palutena!!! (I changed my avie at the right time xD) This MIGHT make up for not having Lucina in the game... Might...not really I really enjoyed the anime short, but man, it makes me want another Kid Icarus game... Why, Sakurai? Why? D':

(Actually, I suspect Lucina might be a charrie after all, since she's hinted to be an Amiibo figurine... BUT who knows :P)

[Sanctus]

First and foremost I want something solid for Final Fantasy XV. I have never given up hope on that game -- even though it's been in the works for as long as my 8 year old brother has been alive. This game really looks like it might have the best gameplay I've ever seen. I must play as Noctis soon. ,_,

Next I want a new KH3 trailer. Looking forward to KH 2.5, to be sure, but nothing short of a KH3 trailer will satisfy me.

And Pokemon OR/AS. Looking forward to it more than I was for Pokemon X.

Everything else may be good but not essential for my future gaming. I'd like to see some new Zombie killing games.
