WAR SEASON 1
Placed: Third (44.5 points)

Welcome to Team Trainer! We fight to protect the sacred bond between human and Pokemon and will wipe out any team that threatens it! Above all, we will fight to preserve the values of Team Trainer: Honour, Freedom and Courage! Team Trainer was one of the original teams to fight in the very first PE2K WAR. This year we hope to return the team to its former glory by recruiting great trainers and their Pokemon partners! If you think you fit the bill, then please apply using the form below!

Steven formed Team Trainer as the fourth of the original four War Teams (the other three being Team Magma, Team Aqua, and Team Rocket). As the War began, Harry Kim later joined forced with Steven and became co-captain with him. Team Trainer faced off against Team Magma in the beginning of the War, but then later faced a new threat from The Magnificent Alliance. Regardless, Steven and Kim lead Team Trainer to victory in War Season 1, though later Steven resigned leaving Harry Kim as the sole leader for Team Trainer.

In War Season 2, Team Trainer continued to advance against the other teams, though faced considerable opposition from The Magnificent Alliance. In a bold move, Team Trainer merged with Team Tri-Blade. Tri-Blade's leader, Dapkmnguy, became Team Trainer's 1st Officer. Later when Harry Kim resigned as team leader due to technical reasons, Dapkmnguy became the leader of Team Trainer and brought the team to victory again in Season 2.

As Season 3 geared forward, Team Trainer soon found itself overpowered not by TMA, but by Team Nox. With determination, Team Trainer kept up with Team Nox in points, but the season ended prematurely. Team Trainer ended up a few points behind Team Nox, but, no winner was declared at the end of the season.

Team Trainer disbanded in War Season 4 in favor of new teams for the entire season, but was later revived by Harry Kim as an organization dedicated to upholding the values of honor and justice.

Team Trainer participated in War Season 5 and end up winning it. With the help of veteran Neo Winterfeild and rookies Mike Anone and Dark Umbreon, Team Trainer was able to live to see the end of the WAR RP along with Team Aqua and Team DARK.

Taking the remains of Team Trainer, Charizard_mike restarted the group after the time of inactiveness of the formal leader, HKim. Team Trainer took part in WAR VI with Charizard_mike as leader and coleaders HKim, Tyranitar_Trainer and StormtrooperX. After the long and hard WAR VI, Team Trainer came in fourth place after a close fight for third place. This showed that Team Trainer is a hard working team and still able to put up the good fight.

Team Trainer again entered WAR VII under the leadership of Charizard_mike, but was unable to overcome the new superpowers of The Underdog Alliance and One Against All.

The team did not make an appearance in WAR XI or X, but now under the leadership of The Frost Dragon and Pokemon Trainer Sarah, Team Trainer rises from the ashes! Now trainer! Will you join us and add your name to Trainer's honour roll?

Just because they aren't on your side doesn't mean that you can disrespect them! Next, remember that you should participate in a lot of activities. WAR isn't just a contest, it's also a perfect time to be critiqued by plenty of people on plenty of things! Don't be afraid to do an activity just because you don't think you'll be good enough! And lastly, cliche as it is, remember to have fun! Even if it's a competition, you joined it to have fun, not to raze the enemies. With all that in mind, just fill out the following form to apply!

That's true about Noibat, and the reason I didn't use one in my first playthrough. By then I already had my little dino-Dragon, Tyrunt! I might have to trade one over near the start of the game. Still so many Kalos Pokemon I need to try training! I kind of want to start playing Y now.

I never even knew Noivern existed until one of the elite four had one! They were pretty, too, I would've used one instead of my goodra. That thing was a pain to evolve.

I ended up raising a Sliggoo to level 62 before I figured out how it evolved by accident. xD It was higher than all my other team members, who were in their 40s by that point haha. That's what I get for wanting to play without spoilers!

I had seen Noibat before the game was released and I kind of wanted to use one because it was so cute! I also want to try using Amaura!

I think we need to get together and figure out exactly who we are and our teams history. We have a fully fleshed out motive and identity, but I think we're having trouble figuring out the more basic things like our structure and our history. Once again, I suggest a google doc for its instant editing and such, but we could also decide on this kind of thing just with posts.

Well the idea I have for Team Trainer is kind of like this...

We have always been around as a kind of union for Pokemon Trainers but during peace time, we don't really need to do much. We just make sure that conditions for trainers and Pokemon are kept fair and maybe we could be involved in keeping Pokemon Centers free for trainers or something. When we heard about all the conflict we realised that it was part of our duty as trainers to solve it and prevent harm to people and Pokemon getting caught in the middle. So we sent out the call to trainers across all nations to meet at our headquarters somewhere in Kanto, where we would begin to plan our next move. That way our members can be from whatever region they like.

If we go with this, then it makes sense that our HQ would be somewhere small and tucked away.

Do you guys like that idea, since you will be the ones using it? xD Feel free to put forward alternate ideas/expand on this one! :D

Vermillion makes sense in terms of ship access and the vaguely military-ish nature to it. I would have said viridian, because of it's close proximity to Johto, but since so many regions are overseas, yours makes more sense. Now, what about leadership? Who called all trainers like that?

Well depending on who all is role playing we could pick a few leaders for that. Or while Sarah isn't role playing (that I know of) we could still use her as like the leader at the base. We could play her as calling us to give us information.

Well after doing a tad bit of research because I didn't really know this when I was writing up my character thing but... The people of Vermilion City tend to be very careful about pollution because they don't want the same troubles as Celadon City had with the Grimers and pollution. Now as for our base we could do Celadon City or Vermilion City if we want something on the water.

Vermillion is probably the best bet, due to transportation that's already canon such as the S.S. Anne as well as the S.S. Aqua, it's central location in Kanto, the seagallop ferries to the Sevii Islands, and it's not at all a stretch to say that there are boats going from Kanto to other regions.

Plus the pokemon fanclub is there. Just sayin'.

And second, this kind of sucks to say, but judging by how this week is going and how I'm going to be gone for monday-friday of next week, I hate to say it, but I don't think I'm going to be able to make the roleplay work out. (Every frikken year...) I'm going to be in another state next week with no access to technology, but since spriting is quick and easy (relatively) and how I can work on the drawn art over that week still, I can handle those. Roleplay, on the other hand, it just doesn't look like it's gonna work out.

Well, the first time my Metronome Machamp (hey, the judging system Xaiaku is using seems to imply he loves the unorthodox, so I included a few crazy-but-workable movesets on my Pokemon :P) actually managed to get a Spark off on a Gyarados, which survived due to its Wacan Berry but was paralysed from the move. My opponent rage quit after that.

The second time my opponent's Spider Web actually increased my Contrary Spinda's speed, allowing me to sweep the remainder of his team, even in the face of their Belly Drum Linoone (fortunately it lacked Extremespeed). So yes, I guess my team is more annoying than good. xD

Sorry for not posting sooner! Family was here, so I was pretty much tied up for the last week.

I didn't participate in Showdown the past two weeks because I don't really like the theme. I'm not a fan of battling random strangers on Showdown, some people give too much of a hassle and make it an unpleasant experience, to say the least. :V

The debate topic was also way above me and my time for Week I, and I haven't seen it change, so I was out for that too. xD I'm also not good at art and I'm not too fond of writing stories, so I'm kinda just here. xD

I'll try and snag us some points next time though! >:O Good job everyone else!
