Feel free to start wherever you like, just try not to group too many people together in one place.

Oh, and have fun. Or else... no seriously, there is an or else.

Let the first PxR Role Play begin!

Shay Miru
Freelancer: Giratina
Dragonspiral Tower, Unova
ARPer's: None

The dripping of water into the crystal clear pools that lined broken stair ways echoed against the hollow space of Dragonspiral Tower. It was vacant, and the definition of empty, perhaps soulless. The entire heart of the tower was open, worn and crumbling to the weathering of time. Stairs circled the inside of the wall, and up to the top floor where large openings in the stone made a window to the level above. It was late in the afternoon, and a single solitary soul lay resting just on the edge of the opening, arm hanging down while her hand was against her chest.

Shay gazed up at the high ceiling, looking at the cracks that allowed sunlight in through the opaque structure. Thoughts ran through her head of days when this place was a legend, a sacred ground of some kind. Now, it was long and forgotten, all by the few wild Pokémon that remained to call it home. Even they were scarce these days. At the time, Shay was using Dragonspiral tower as her temporary home away from her other temporary home: Mt. Silver in Johto. She sought to see insight to the nightmares she had been having, against her first idea of attempting to get into Turnback Cave in Sinnoh, however that place had ENDoG written all over it. No, they left Dragon spiral Tower alone, they already had what they wanted from here, and there was nothing else for them to be present. It did help that being a person who technically didn’t exist anywhere but in physical form, kept you off the grid. Shay had her fair share of roughing it in the wilderness, and actually preferred that to any old city. She wasn’t stupid however, she knew how technology worked.

'I hope Cayci found some food. I haven’t eaten since yesterday, and I’m not going back into another civilized town until two days from now. Maybe head to the Celestial Tower, since Giratina is associated with spirits of the passed.'

Shay preferred traveling at night, because there were just less eyes in general out and about. Not to mention, flying via Hydreigon, was a nearly invisible free pass around the skies. Skies didn’t have the possibility of an ENDoG patrol catching you by yourself on the road. All she could do right now was wait and take the much needed rest she rarely got a chance to claim.

Even if it was on a hard, stony floor.

Jingka Givrali
Freelancer: Darkrai
Psychiatric Correctional Facility outside Anville Town, Unova
ARPer's: Maybe SS...?

‘Wake up.’

‘… wake up now.’

“Alright, everyone out and form a line for evaluation.”

It was a painfully long train ride. Light stabbed at Jingka’s eyes once she exited the car she was in, but didn’t flinch at the change. Her eyes adjusted just fine as an officer behind her moved her along, borderline pushing her with his hand on her shoulder. Jingka went along with it, she knew she was safe and everyone else she had with her was out of harm’s way. The walk along the concrete path seemed almost as long as the train ride. Few others who twitched, and quivered at the sight of a building behind a high wall, while the gate itself was a smaller building with iron bars against the frame of small windows. Jingka noticed people such as herself weren’t going inside, there were also young men and women in doctors attire heading in through the other side of the door, clearly new staff of some kind. Jingka noted that inducting new staff at the same time new patients was a test against the doctor’s psyche to see if they could handle unstable, possibly erratic people with an unwell mind. Well, those who were thought to be deemed unwell.

“Sit.”

Jingka wasn’t really given the option to stand or not, she was forced down in a chair across the desk from another woman, while a firm grip remained on her shoulder. The woman was wearing a heavier vest than the rest, and on her side Jingka could see a baton, and a pistol that was normally issued by common police. Ingka looked up at the woman just as she was about to open her mouth, cutting her off.

“You’re the warden aren’t you?” She said in a light and airy voice. “I couldn’t help but make that observation as you aren’t dressed like the others, nor do they have issued fire arms as what I assume will be armed guards just outside the other end of those doors.”

The woman seemed flabbergasted at first, almost in disbelief. “… excuse me?”

“I do apologize for interrupting you before, but judging by the tightness in grip on my shoulder by the man behind me, you are a woman of your word and rather intimidating to many who work here. I felt I wouldn’t have been able to get a word in, had I not started speaking first.”

“Oh make her stop talking…” Another patient moaned as she was being processed.

“Also I noticed when my head was brought down, that there seemed to be an odd placement of your lower leg muscles, implying that you are either wearing some kind of cast, or have a prosthetic replacement, and after seeing as how the grip on my shoulder is getting rather painful, I would take it you used to be a military woman of some sorts?”

“… I don’t know who you are, or what kind of trick this is, but I’m not going to stand here and have some-”

“MAKE HER STOP!”

“Hey! Sit down!”

The woman only sitting four feet away from Jingka sprang up and started to have a panic attack, lashing out at the other armed guards who needed about three men to restrain her, and calm her down. The woman identified as the Warden began shouting orders, and Jingka merely sat down, and watched the chaos unfold. The grip on her shoulder was gone, but she felt someone else pull her out of her seat, and take her towards one of the armored vehicles back outside the wall.

“You’re going to get processed last, you rambling mental lunatic.” The warden swore to her in a raspy whisper. “Sit here, and don’t talk.”

She returned back inside, looking at one of the men with a sour grimace of frustration. “Someone go out there and make sure she stays quiet. NOW.”

Jingka could only sit quietly, trying to keep a smile from coming across her face.

‘Was rambling mental lunatic the best insult she could come up with?’

Isa Nari
ENDoG: Special Ops
ENDoG HQ
ARPer's: None, unless Neo wants to make her unbored.
No one dared bother Isa in her office. It was that time of the day and unless you were Miles, you did not bother her, for anything. The crazy special operative was holding up one of their best bullet proof vests against her arms, just in front of her face. Before her flapped a purple Crobat, who was concentrating hard on the vest itself. The bat rushed forward, diving down just a bit as she pulled two wings forward, crossing them, and pulling back. Purple energy slashed across the protective gear as bits of fabric went flying, and acids began to fray the newly cut material. Isa threw the vest down, feeling burns on the sides of her hand and fingers. She observed the damage, and saw that the attack had cut almost clean through. A smile came upon her face and she took the flying terror in hand, petting her head like some sort of toy dog.

“That’s an excellent job Tero.” She praised with an unnervingly cheery voice. “Soon it won’t matter what gear those little rats get their hands on, you’ll be able to just take their heads clean off, while Mara gets dinner and a movie.”

Tero made a mild screeching noise of glee. Anyone who may have happened upon the two of them would have found the sight incredibly out of character, when it wasn’t, and not to mention they probably wouldn’t have been living to tell about it. The Crobat left her owner’s hands and started flying around the room casually. Isa knew she wanted to dig her fangs into something soon, as she wanted to take Everette into someone’s ribcage. She twirled the knife in question around her fingers, amazingly without cutting herself, nor seemingly perturbed by the fact she had chemical burns on her fingers. She just simply ignored it, and played around with the combat knife, that no one knew the reasoning behind the name Everette.

“Tero? Why don’t you go see if you can find something for us to do. Something quick and simple. Or at least go traumatize food out of someone for me. Please? Or go spy on who the newbies are. You know I’m not allowed to meet then first hand… not after whatshisface ended up with Everete between his vocal cords.”

The worst part was that Tero seemed overly excited to do everything she was just told.

Jet
Freelancer: Latios
Route 121>Lilycove City> Route 124
Affected RPers: anyone who wants to see him

Jet was running, towards Lilycove city. He ran past the zoo that used to be the safari zone, and past the fenced area where he was told trainers used to battle.

He awoke from his camp east of fortree city, after having a strange nightmare. He heard the screams of pain, of a Pokemon. No Pokemon that he had heard before. All he felt in this dream was pure agony.

Had Jet been able to hear, he would have listened to recorded cries in his pokedex, that were recorded by other trainers and uploaded to the cloud, and attempted to find a match. However, being deaf put him at a disadvantage.

It had been a week since Jet received the message in Slateport city. Te message was a small bound book, and was addressed to a Freelancer in Mosdeep city, who worked at the space Center, studying the Pokemon Jirachi and Deoxys. Jet knew he just had to make it to the port in Lilycove, and Flygon would fly him the rest of the way.

Jet saw an arch, and a large road, symbolising his entry to Lilycove city. It was cold this time of year, and people in thick winter coats were a common sight.

Jet saw the stairway that led to a path near the department store, but instead of turning left and going there, he turned right, running towards the old man who used to make pokemon forget certain moves. He hadn't lived there in years. After training was outlawed his services weren't required. He moved to Unova and stayed with family, as he couldn't afford to live here any more.

Jet reached down to his belt as he ran, uncoiling a blue and silver Pokeball. He was about to throw it and send out his Flygon until he saw someone in front of him. He wore a winter coat, a beanie and scarf, with a camera around his neck. A tourist.

"ENDoG" Jet thought suddenly. His instincts were kicking in, but he had no reason to believe the man was an enemy. Until he pulled something out of his jacket. A handgun.

Jet leaned back and skidded along the ground, and as he was passing the man, spun his legs, tripping the man. While he did this, he bashed his fist on the mans chest, causing him to fall and his the ground.

Jet jumped back up, and threw the Pokeball into the air past the small cliff that hung above the waters. The Pokeball opened, and Flygon appeared in a flash of light. The ball closed and flicked back to Jet's hand, as he ran to the edge and jumped, narrowly missing being shot by the man who was getting back up.

Jet landed on Flygon's back, who was expecting him, and ascended up above the clouds.

"Nice job Flygon," Jet said. Flygon chirped in response, however Jet heard nothing. It had been this way for over 10 years. Nothing but silence.

Jet arrived at the beach on Mossdeep city at the back of the island a few hours later. He climbed up the hills, and found himself in the main town. Jet followed the signs to the Space Center, where he found a man by a telescope.

Jet walked over and pulled the whiteboard out of his bag.

Are you Steven Stone? was written on the whiteboard.

Jet walked over to the man, and tapped on his shoulder. He turned around and looked at the board. He wrote 'Yes' on the board.

"This is for you." Jet said handing him the book, "I can read lips, just not too well."

The man thanked Jet, mentioning his research.

"Jirachi and Deoxys?" Jet asked.

"You are well informed." Steven said, beckoning Jet towards the telescope. He punched in some digits to the keyboard. He pointed to the lens, so Jet walked over and peered into it.

Jet saw the moon, very close up. However there was something strange. Suddenly there was a pink flash. Tiny yet noticeable.

Jet pulled away from the telescope and looked at the man.

"Back when we launched rockets here, we had a few expeditions involving the moon. Some of us believed that certain Pokemon came from space. We had detectors put on the moon, which would pick up any changes in air pressure, temperature, and general movement." Steven said, " That is how I found Deoxys hiding place. I watch over Deoxys making sure ENDoG don't find it. They already captured Groudon and Kyogre. That's why our weather is so unpredictable and we can't launch rockets any more."

Steven took another step back, and punched some digits into the computer again. When Jet looked in, he saw what looked like a comet.

"That is the millennium comet." Steven said, "It is the beacon that awakens Jirachi from its thousand year slumber. I plan on searching for Jirachi and protecting it when I can."

Jet thought about what Steven was saying. How ENDoG are targeting the legendary pokemon then he remembered something. Jet grabbed the whiteboard marker and whiteboard, and wrote furiously.

"You say dreams of one Pokemon in agony? Dying?" Steven asked. Jet nodded.

"The fact that you say they are real worries me. I think that the Pokemon is Latios." Steven said, pulling a book off the shelf, and opening t a page with two similar looking, but differently coloured Pokemon. The red one was smaller and more rounded, whilst the blue one was more larger and more angled. Both were shaped like jets.

"Latios is the blue one. He is the most empathetic Pokemon. He can cause people and Pokemon to see what he sees." Steven said, "If he truly is in pain, and reaching out to people, then we need to help. All of the legendary Pokemon of Hoenn have a responsibility in the balance of nature. The two Pokemon that control the weather have been taken, and we can't allow another legendary Pokemon to be killed or captured."

Steven grabbed his bag, and pulled out a Pokeball.

"I'm going after Latios," Steven said, as he walked towards the lift. "If you haven't got any other errands to run, I would like you to come with me. ENDoG are ruthless and I will need all the help I can get."

Jet nodded, and walked towards the lift. They entered the elevator, and went to the roof, where Steven threw a Pokeball into the air. It opened, and a Skarmory emerged, emitting a loud cry.

"Sorry it has been so long Skarmory," Steven said, "ENDoG have been on my back for months now."

Jet pulled out Flygon's Pokeball and threw it up into the air. The all opened, and Flygon emerged.

"Our best bet is Mauville city first. I have seen glimpses of Latios there in my travels, and there are wild Pokemon in all the routes surrounding it." Steven said, climbing onto Skarmory. Jet climbed onto Flygon, as both the winged pokemon took off, flying over the clouds.

Jamie
Freelancer: Rayquaza
Ferry to Pacifidlog Town
Affected RPers: None

Jamie sat by the window of the ferry, watching a video on his mobile phone, laughing.

On the screen was a building, with hundred of people's running out of it screaming. They all wore the same uniform, as they sprinted out of the burning building, which just had another section explode. Suddenly a green snake like creature flew up from behind it, a light appearing at its mouth, and shooting into the building. Rayquaza.

"This isn't the first time Rayquaza has made an attack on ENDoG facilities. In the past four years alone, 6 facilities have been destroyed by the legendary Pokemon. It would fly in from the clouds, wreak havoc and fly back into the clouds." Said the reporter at the news station. "However ENDoG has located Rayquaza and discovered that it rests at Sky Pillar between attacks. ENDoG forces are moving towards the building, in an attempt to stop the beast."

This report was from last week. When Jamie saw it, he ordered a ticket to Slateport city and arrived the day before. He was not gong to let ENDoG take Rayquaza like they did Lugia. Pacifidlog Town was in sight, and beyond that, the tower known as Sky Pillar on the horizon.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"Open up. ENDoG requires cabins to be searched."

"****," Jamie thought, "If they find my Pokeball, I am in trouble."

The cabin door was locked, and Jamie grabbed Swampert's Pokeball. He sealed his electronics in his waterproof bag, and smashed the window in his cabin, jumping out into the water.

Jamie swum deep below the surface, holding his breath, and opening Swampert's Pokeball. Jamie grabbed into Swampert's, who began swimming swiftly away from the ship, and surfacing for air.

Staying in the water, Jamie and Swapert skipped Pacifidlog Town, going straight to Sky Pillar. They arrived at the ancient building an hour later.

Jamie called back Swampert, and walked into the tower. There was a roar for, the top, which Jamie guessed was that of Rayquaza. As Jamie climbed the stairs he heard voices.

"This lizard has been driving the heads insane." Said one of them.
"Not for much longer." Said the other.

Jamie turned out of the staircase, and stood in front of the men. There was a large gap between them however.

"Back off civilian. ENDoG business." Said the man, noticing Jamie.

"Why do you the favour?" Jamie asked, throwing Scyther's Pokeball into the air. Scyther emerged, and flew towards the men. Before they had a chance to do anything, they were knocked into the gap. Scyther crossed the gap, and picked up Jamie, taking him across.

Jamie continued to scale the tower, until he knew that Rayquaza was in the roof, the next floor. He readied the Pokeball for Aggron, Sneasal and Swampert, and walked up the stairs.

Jamie walked onto the roof, and saw a large group of ENDoG men, surrounding Rayquaza, who was tied to the ground by thick ropes.

"Jeez guys, I know he is legendary and all," Jamie said, throwing the Pokeball into the air, "But even that outnumbering is a bit unfair."

The men turned, and some advanced towards Jamie.

"Scyther, Sneasal! Cut the ropes." Jamie said, as the two Pokemon rushed towards the legendary Pokemon cutting the ropes. Swampert and Aggron fought off the ENDoG forces Pokemon, holding their ground.

There was a roar as most of the ropes were cut and Rayquaza broke free. It flew up into the air. The ENDoG men yelled and fired their weapons at the clouds where it had disappeared. Suddenly there was a strange glow from behind the clouds and a light hum.

"Time to go guys," Jamie said, as he returned all his Pokemon to their Pokeball and ran down the stairs. A few seconds later there was an explosion as the roof of Sky Pillar collapsed barely missing Jamie.

"They must have caught Rayquaza by surprise before," Jamie thought, "Lets see how they cope now."

Jamie ran down the stairs, as the building continued to collapse. Eventually he got to the second floor, when he felt the building shake, suddenly, the wall closest to the water collapsed from the strain if the legendary dragons attacks. Jamie ran and jumped from the falling building, diving into the water.

Jamie looked up at the sky, at the green dragon flying around the pile of rubble that used to be Sky Pillar.
"Sorry about your home Rayquaza." Jamie thought, as he swam away from the now ruins.

Myra
ENDoG: New Recruit
Virbank City ENDoG Facility
Affected RPers: Charmander009

"So I am part of ENDoG now." Myra thought as she unpacked her belongings. She found it hard to believe that in the facility, she had her own room.

Her and Arianne had just moved into the facility, after being accepted into ENDoG. She placed her four Pokeballs onto the desk. One of them wasn't supposed to be there.

Of the four Pokeballs, only two of them were her own. Gallade and Altaria. The other two were ENDoG issue. Pokemon they had liberated. Altaria passed the obedience test, so Myra could use her. However, even though Gallade was perfect, for some unknown reason, they said no to him. They told her that she had to leave him with relatives. They didn't know she had smuggled Gallade in with her. Nobody knew. Not even Arianne.

"Gallade, we need to talk." Myra said, throwing the Pokeball into the air. Gallade emerged in the center of the room, and stretched his limbs.

"Gallade, we can't spend too much time together any more." Myra said sadly, " I don't know why, but they won't let me have you while I work for them. Only Altaria and they two Pokemon they gave me."

Gallade stood back in shock. He and Myra had been together for years, and this was the first time this had happened.

"We will still see eachother." Myra said, "You just need to hide somewhere."

Gallade frowned at the thought. Though he trusted Altaria, he would rather be by Myra's side.

"I will visit you every day, I promise." Myra said, "Maybe once I move up the ranks, I can pull some strings and be able to have you work with me."

Myra didn't want to leave Gallade, but she didn't want to lose her chance at a career with ENDoG either...

Miles Kahane
ENDoG Leader
ENDoG Command Center Situation Room, Castelia City, Unova
Affected RPers: Saraibre Ryu (Isa Nari)

They had calculated the number of free roaming legendary Pokémon that were still remaining, and I was not pleased with the results. Fifteen, not including those in multiples, were still not in our possession or otherwise neutralized. The ENDoG High Council had shared my dissatisfaction regarding the situation, but I wanted results, not excuses. The sooner this was done, the more control I would have.

The Situation Room was composed of multiple large display screens on the main wall that each showed a member of the ENDoG High Council. All of them were in different locations throughout the world, but the situation room allowed for us all to converse and see each other without being in the same physical location. It allowed us to conduct these meetings without the need for time-wasting travel and security measures. And it was yet another way technology had proven itself useful. Obviously, it was yet another way mankind had outsmarted Pokémon and would always remain their masters. No Pokémon was capable of making machines and technology like this, and for that, they would always be weak compared to us.

"Rest assured, Kahane," Malcolm Heights, representative of Hoenn, told the rest of the council, "ENDoG operatives are doing what they can to procure as many of these targets as possible. These remaining targets have proven to be more challenging, however."

"Challenging?" I questioned his actions. "Let me make myself clear, Heights. By all means, capture them for testing and research if the opportunity presents itself, but I'd rather have them drop dead than to have them roaming about. If the procurement teams cannot obtain these last remaining targets using their already existing methods, authorize deadly force and just finish the job."

"Understood, sir," Heights had replied.

While the primary capturing method had been successful, I knew it wasn't the only option. The capture rates were initially quick, but lately they had slowed down as the more difficult to obtain Pokémon still remained. Some of these other legendary Pokémon proved to be evasive for most of our personnel and hired mercenaries, and I wanted to make it clear I didn't give a damn whether these beasts were dead or alive, I wanted them eliminated and out of the equation. And in truth, even their dead cadavers would still prove useful for research. But even if those couldn't be recovered, to me, it didn't matter. As long as the opposite was out of my way, that's all that mattered.

"There's also the situation of Operation War Dragon I wanted to address before the Council," Sasha Hunter, a Johto representative, spoke before the rest of us. "I truly do not believe Operation War Dragon needs the funding that it is currently receiving. ENDoG faces no threat that warrants this high of a level of military ordinance."

Incompetent wretch. She was obviously ignorant regarding the kind of message I was trying to send to anyone harboring any kind of ideas about uprising. ENDoG needed to continue to grow in military power and force, not recede and open the way for parasites to take root within the system. But judging from her looks, she was old, ignorant, and stupid, probably made a member of the Council from her connections and personal networks. Without those connections, not even a god-forsaken diner would hire her to pour coffee.

"Overruled," I told her, wishing she would just shut that pissing, ignorant mouth of hers. "Operation War Dragon funding will continue as planned. In fact, I intend to increase funding for this operation more within the coming months. I have evaluated General Logan's operations playbook regarding regulatory control and after giving it my personal seal of approval, I'm not about to let bureaucracy stand in the way of what I feel is a well-documented and well-timed operation."

"The last protests were hardly any threat, Kahane," Hunter kept rambling to my utter contempt. "ENDoG military forces neutralized the aggressors and broke up the demonstrations within record time. You're simply using the highest level of military force against what I believe are nothing but mere, annoying insects that pose little threat to the integrity of ENDoG's operations."

She was only partially correct. Protestors and demonstrators were indeed nothing more than brainless, idiot insects of only woefully pathetic intelligence. However, I wanted them crushed into nothingness under ENDoG's foot, and I wanted it done fast. Man, woman, or child, I wanted to make it clear that opposing ENDoG law and regulation was by far the most woeful mistake anyone could ever consider. If a child was old enough to attempt to interfere with ENDoG regulations and operations, then they were old enough to be punished to the full extent of the law. And ignorance of the law was no excuse.

"Hunter, we appreciate your concerns, but the Council has already voted upon this matter," Dennis Taylor, representing Sinnoh, had told her. "Operation War Dragon's funding status will not be revoked."

"And I believe that settles all remaining parts of the agenda," I told the others, wanting to get this meeting over with. "See to it that the rest of the targets are acquired or destroyed. I don't care where or how, just get it done. That is all."

And that concluded the meeting. Once all the screens had turned off, I knew I could get back to work on something meaningful rather than this garbage. I had some other matter that needed to be taken care of. It was a task that only someone with extreme prowess could accomplish. Someone no other than Isa Nari.

I decided to send her an encrypted message, a mission that was important to ENDoG, since the effect it would have leverage to our mission. There were still Pokémon sympathizers out there, and they needed to be buried.

Isa,

As I know you're looking for something to do, so here's a fantastic list that I'm sure you'll enjoy in the ways you know best.

Some people need to die. Most notably, the following:

Lance
Steven Stone
Wallace
Cynthia
Alder

I'm already well aware of the fact these five individuals are not following ENDoG law and are likely supporting the resistance movement. I need you to make an example of them. Eliminate them however you'd like and publically display their carcasses for everyone to see. As for their Pokémon, destroy them and throw them in the garbage, far away from their respective owners.

The rest is up to you. Happy hunting, Isa.

Regards,
Miles Kahane

She always liked a good kill, and I knew she would especially enjoy eliminating these five maggots.

You don't get any prizes for looking after the mad citizens who don't belong in society. Sorry to burst your bubble, soldier.

Doc has been following the former soldier around and making snarky comments in his head about her all day. He really is annoyed at her "I am the boss." attitude, and briefly debates simply completing the job someone clearly intelligent tried to carry out. He has to restrain himself from cheering when the mental patient had pulled off–

Get her out!

Doc's intuition (which has been getting terrifyingly accurate, if not precise, as of late) simply screams at him that this girl–this mental patient–would be useful, but not from here. She needs to be out. Fortunately, Doc has the resources (and the ability to lie) to make it happen.

He suppresses a brief wave of nausea as a solution to his problems comes to him, especially since the method probably wouldn't endear him to the patient. He adopts a posture of arrogance and control after he prevents himself from showing the sick feeling at what he is going to pretend to be. He bumps into the warden as she tries to walk out, gestures toward the patient, and gives a conspiratorial smile.

Doc grabs the mental ward and puts his arm around her, his hand making contact with the skin of the side of her neck. His hand traces upwards before descending in a semicircle to meet the upward trace as he says coldly,"If she's bothering you, I'm sure I can," his hand continues in a right angle, sides pointing up and right,"ensure," now a parabola facing down with a line between two corresponding points on opposite sides,"that she'll be more compliant in the future." at the word 'future', Doc makes an arc, then branches another arc off of it, facing upwards. "After all," the same parabola and then right angle,"very few can," a circle, then a squiggle,"resist my–how shall I put it?–" and finally three quarters of a circle with a line inward,"charms."

The only thing that makes Doc sicker on the inside than what he is pretending to be is the fact that the role he was playing would get him what he wants instead of arrested and executed. While the woman's resentment gives him a clear in, he hates her for the fact that she is probably going to allow something so monstrous to pass (even if it isn't really going to). But he keeps a smug leer on his face to disguise his absolute hatred for the ENDoGs that is currently condensing into a desire to murder this woman.

Deep Blue the Metagross
Freelancer Pokemon
Northern Victory Road
ARPers: None

Deep Blue has clearly been spending too much time in this place, because he was starting to see things he–

"Deep. Deep! Wait, Deep!!"

Nope. Not seeing things. He's clearly there.

The Metagross turns and keeps floating along, ignoring the voice. However, the Zweilous trying to talk to the supercomputer is undeterred, and ends up using Dragon Rush to crash itself into the walking Metagross.

Unhurt, the blue genius turns, lifts a leg, and uppercuts the dragon into the ceiling, pinning him there.

"Wait, Deep! I want to talk to you!"

"I am aware of your desires. I am also aware of my trainer's desire to see you rot in a hole and die slowly of Artemis freezing your blood milliliter by milliliter. While illogical, I am afraid the latter takes precedent over the former."

"I didn't want–"

"Your wants are irrelevant. While I bear you no personal hatred, Doc most emphatically does. Ergo, while I will let you free in a moment–despite the fact that you attacked me, I may add–"

"I wasn't genuinely trying to hurt you!"

"Again you err repeatedly in the same way, ignoring the results in favor of intentions. As I was saying, I won't bring you to harm, but I expect you to leave."

"But–"

"No. I am not listening. Adieu."

Deep Blue slowly lowers his leg, allowing the Zweilous to descend without snapping his neck. The Metagross then continues on his path, firmly intending to reach his destination by the appointed time. Doc told him that there was apparently an intelligence asset that had contacted him. As this is something that required delicacy, the man had sent Deep Blue. When the Metagross questioned as to why Athena, the manipulator of the team, was not going to be sent instead, Doc merely smiled.

This is the problem with trainers convinced of their intelligence. They never tell you anything.

Arianne Spencer
ENDoG: New Recruit
Virbank City ENDoG Facility
Affected RPers: Cobalt

Arianne Spencer marched down the halls--or rather, strutted--with her head held high, blonde ponytail flowing behind her. A happy expression was on her face, muted only when someone walked down the opposite direction. Even though she was in an ENDoG barracks, surrounded by grim-faced soldiers, Arianne couldn't help but feel the excitement. She was in a new region, surrounded by new things. And above all, they were in VIRBANK. NewStar Studios was only a few blocks away.

There was no way in heaven or heck she was not going to go visit.

The new recruit was headed to her quarters, looking to drag her best friend off on another misadventure. They were off-duty; there was no better time than now.

"Myyyyyyra!" Arianne called as she barged into the room without warning. "Myra, grab your things! We're going to..."

Arianne stopped dead as she caught sight of an unfamiliar (and very dangerous-looking) creature, standing in their dorm with sharp red eyes. The recruit stumbled backwards, opening her mouth and preparing to shout for help.

Zorayda Moonlin

Somewhere in Viridian Forest

“Ah, another bug... let’s just run from this silly little Caterpie,” Zor sighed. They’d been running around all day, looking for a particular Pokemon that was always rumored to have been found in these thick forests, where Bug Catchers used to roam freely. This was one placed ENDoG hadn’t really touched yet, probably because the Pokemon here were somewhat mild and weak. Living near a city had given them things to scavenge and keep themselves well-fed, though lately they’d had to start sneaking around a bit more and working harder for their food. Which was probably why this Caterpie was crawling up to her and waggling its feelers in anticipation. At her side, Dusk, her Umbreon, growled deep in his throat as a warning. The Bug paid no heed, however, taking sudden interest in Zor’s bag. The blonde sighed again in guilt. This guy was probably hungry... She fished around in her bag, coming up with a Pecha berry and holding in front of the bug’s face. The caterpillar immediately snatched it from her with its strange little mouth, gobbling it up in a few bites. While it was busy, Zor crept away, Dusk grumbling along behind. But when she turned around, there was suddenly a swarm of Caterpie, Weedle, Metapod and Kakuna, very much interested in the food she had and now having seen that she was willingly giving it away.

“Oh, dear...” her Umbreon snarled and lowered his center of gravity, ready to fight them all, but Zor shook her head slightly at him. “No need to hurt anyone, Dusky. I just need to scare them away and maybe they’ll leave us alone...” she unclipped a Poke ball from her belt and clicked the button, releasing her only licensed Pokemon. A slender, four-legged figure emerged, standing twice as tall as Dusk... with nine times as many tales. The larger, pale fox barked playfully and cocked her head at her mistress, wondering what she was summoned for. A yawn revealed pearly canines, indicating that she’d been napping. The short woman gestured towards the Bug-type Pokemon, which had been slightly intimidated at the sight of Viola appearing, but knew nothing about the foreign fox and began to converge in curiosity. With a puppy-like grin, the Ninetales whipped up a circular mini-cyclone wreathed in flame, surrounding all the bugs and making them shriek in terror. The Fire Spin tightened in on them and they scrambled for their dear lives on top of each other, eyeing the flames with fear. Then, as suddenly as it came, the vortex disappeared. Giving Viola one last look of terror they scattered and gave the Trainer no more problems.

“Ahh, much better. Thanks, Vi! See, Dusky? We didn’t need to hurt them. Just scare them off a little and they leave us alone.” The sleek, dark fox blinked indifferently, moving his annoyed gaze to the path in front of him and stubbornly ignoring his Trainer. She laughed but said nothing more. With both Pokemon out, she kept on searching--but apparently she didn’t have to search very long. Viola wuffed in alarm, looking straight up into a nearby tree. Two black, beady eyes watched them carefully, jagged tail twitching with curiosity and not a small amount of wariness.

“Ahh, a Pikachu! Excellent, Vi!” She looked up at the yellow mouse, whose eyes narrowed and tail twitched once more. He didn’t run, but he didn’t come any closer, either. Zor noted that the tail was straight at the tip, indicating that this Pikachu was the male variant of this species. She smiled up at the little Pokemon before ducking her head to search through her bag and fishing out more berries. She picked out one of each and held them out to the Electric-type. His ears perked up in interest, suddenly much less hostile. He hopped down from the branches and came within six feet of Zor, eyeing the two larger Pokemon. “Get back, guys, you make him nervous,” Zor told them. They complied, Viola lying down at Zor’s side with that foxy grin on her face, Dusk sitting on his haunches and looking bored. The Pikachu inched forward a bit at a time, watching Zorayda carefully the whole time, before snatching the Cheri berry and gobbling it down. A satisfied ‘pikaaaaaa’ came from his mouth, making Zor giggle. She reached a hand out to the little Pokemon.

“Hi there, little one! Would you like to come with me?” she asked him. The Pikachu tilted its head as if thinking about it.

<She’s really nice, you won’t regret it, and you’ll become very strong,> Viola told the Pikachu in the Pokemon language. <She feeds us every day. Plus, we work for a noble cause. You’ve probably heard of the evil humans capturing all the Revered Ones, haven’t you?> The Pikachu stopped in his tracks, stunned. Of course he had heard the rumors. Humans that were forcing Pokemon to become mere pets, weakened and frail. Humans that had no mercy, forcing Pokemon to kill their brethren and induct them into the ranks of their own enslaved.

<Yes... What is it you do?> Pikachu asked, his full attention on the Ninetales. It was Dusk who answered, though.

<We do our best to defend those who cannot defend themselves. We seek the Revered Ones to set them free, and to take down ENDoG--the human leaders who wish ill upon Pokemon.> The Umbreon’s sharp red eyes narrowed in hatred at the memories. Pikachu blanched a bit, unnerved by his intense gaze. He suddenly pitied those who opposed the angry fox... Zor knew the Pokemon were communicating and decided to take a backseat until there was brief silence once more.

“Little Pikachu, come with us, and I promise I’ll take good care of you!” she offered. Pikachu thought for one more second, looking from one Pokemon to the other, before nodding in agreement. He rushed up to Zorayda and took a spot on her shoulder. The foreign scent of human would be something to get used to, but he decided that the view from up here was pretty good. The four of them left the forest to get back to the Freelancer’s base, where Zor was going to train the Pikachu and make him a true fighter for the freedom of all Pokemon.

Darkness surrounded him. He could hear nothing, feel nothing but the slight vibration of the Earth beneath his paws. The smell of dirt and clay filled his nostrils until he was hyperventilating, terrified and alone. Again he tried fruitlessly to bash the metal box he was trapped in, without even enough space to turn around or lie down comfortably. His paws ached so badly... his fur needed cleaned, and behind him was the smell of his own refuse. How low had he sunk, to be once revered and feared, and now to be lowered to the level of a neglected, starving animal in a cage with his own waste. He gritted his fangs, trying to will his power to the surface, but to no avail; those damned ENDoG agents had taken it all. He couldn’t even so much as summon a spark... He felt like breaking down and giving up, to just let himself die down here. His ribs were already protruding from his mighty frame and he was sure he must have had stress fractures in his legs from all the hours of standing in this position. He needed help... with a weak, pitiful roar he called to no one... <Help me...>

Jace Timber

Mauville ENDoG Facility
ARPer’s: Charmander009 (Arianne) and Cobalt (Myra)

Jace’s hand trailed lazily along his Pokemon’s spine as he looked over paperwork, tiredness tugging at his eyelids and making them droop occasionally. Panja the Luxray snored peacefully with his head on his paws, making the Lieutenant smile softly. The electric lion was one of his Pokemon that he had to keep in the Poke ball most of the time, due to his somewhat insubordinate nature. Disobedience wasn’t tolerated in ENDoG, and so Jace protected Panja by keeping him out of most battles despite his strength. The noble lion refused to kill any fellow Pokemon or fight any he thought were weaker than he, making him a prime target for abuse and torture by other agents. Right now, there were no battles, so the big cat got some rare time out of his ball and to enjoy Jace’s company. The dark-haired man sighed, turning back to his paperwork. There were many new recruits this week... sifting through, he saw a mark on one of the pages that caught his eye. One of the newbies was a young woman with a Pokemon that was deemed ‘unsuitable’ for ENDoG purposes. He frowned slightly, wondering how well the girl was handling it and knowing exactly how she might have felt. Jace glanced once more at Panja, the frown deepening. Perhaps he would visit his new recruits and keep a special eye on her... Myra, she was called. He wasn’t off-duty, but they all were at the moment.

He had already ‘met’ them, lined up at attention and being shouted at as the Lieutenant and their commanding officer. It was a tactic to make them have healthy respect for their officers and to learn obedience; the military was all about chain-of-command. Perhaps he would go to the barracks and have a ‘surprise inspection’ for neatness. Another thing about the military... everyone had to be neat and orderly, with no sense of individuality. A break did sound nice right about now, and Jace couldnt’ say he didn’t enjoy making the newbies panic a little at first. His chair made a loud scraping noise against the tiled floor as he scooted back and stood up. Panja lifted his head off of his paws, looking curious and slightly offended that Jace had stopped petting his fluffy fur. The Lieutenant ruffled the lion’s mane and grinned.

“Inspections for the new recruits! Want to come intimidate people, Panja?” Jace asked. The Luxray’s ears perked in interest and he got to his paws, tail flicking from side to side. “I thought you might.” With that, jace adjusted his uniform and made his way briskly and stiffly down the hall and towards the barracks. “INSPECTIONS!” he barked in his best CO voice, and heard the panicked scramblings of a troupe of recruits. Jace repressed an amused grin and waited for everyone to step out of their rooms and come to attention by their respective doors.

Myra
Virbank City ENDoG Facility
ENDoG new recruit
Affected RPers: Charmander 009, The Protobabe

Myra
Before Myra knew what was going on, Arianne was standing by the door, gasping at Gallade.

"Arianne, stop talking." Myra said, "He is friendly, and he won't be here long. This is Gallade. I caught him as a Ralts 10 years ago. But ENDoG will only let me use Altaria. I am going to hide him somewhere so I can keep him"

Myra ran over to the door and shut it as Gallade looked strangely at Arianne.

Arianne stared at the creature, her mind fighting through shock while trying to sort out her thoughts. Every instinct of hers was yelling danger, and yet Myra was speaking calmly. Despite this creature's intimidating appearance, she didn't seem worried at all. Trusting Myra, Arianne relaxed...

"Wait..." she said after she calmed down. "You caught this guy? 10 years ago? But...! But I've never seen him before."

How... was that possible? They were best friends! They knew everything about each other! How could Myra keep this a secret from her?

"My parents condition for me keeping him was that he was a secret." Myra explained, "The license was for Ralts. When he evolved, the license wasn't valid, and we were supposed to have gotten rid of him. I got him licensed again before joining ENDoG"

Myra realised how much this must have hurt Arianne, keeping such a secret.

"I'm sorry for lying to you. But Gallade has been one of my best friends for the past 10 years. He was the first friend I had who didn't leave me. I didn't want to lose him."

Arianne found the nearest bunk and sat on it, trying to take this in. She glanced between the Gallade and her friend, trying to understand. She guessed she could understand if her parents forced her to keep that secret... But why would she go through all that trouble for a Pokemon?

...And she called it one of her best friends?

Arianne opened her mouth, ready to say that Pokemon weren't friends. This went against everything they stood for. But she kept her peace, quailing under the eyes of the Gallade. She didn't like the look it was giving her...

Biting her lip, Arianne whispered, "If it wasn't accepted... Then he can't be here! Myra, if you get caught you're toast!"

Gallade nudged Myra, giving her a cautious look. He must have read her mind. She had told him it was rude to invade like that and made a note to herself to remind him later.

"I am willing to take the risk. Don't worry they won't find..." Myra said, interrupted by a loud male voice.
"Inspections!" Yelled the voice.
Myra grabbed Gallade's Pokeball and Altarias. She returned Gallade to his Pokeball with a quick apology, and opened Altaria's. The blue and white winged Pokemon erupted from the ball and sat on the floor next to Myra. It wrapped its clue like wings around itself, and looke duo at Myra, and around the room.

"Altaria, hold this." Myra said, stuffing the Pokeball under Altaria's wing.

Myra cleaned up the room, which didn't take long due to only being there 5 minutes. However there were footprints in the carpet from Gallade. Myra rubbed the carpet removing the footprints and putting it back to normal, then opened the door, and stood up straight, beckoning Arianne to come out as well. Altaria sat on the floor next to the door inside the room, holding hidden under its wing, Gallade's Pokeball. Outside was an intimidating looking man in his late twenties, walking next to a Luxray...

Isa Nari
ENDoG: Special Ops
ENDoG HQ
ARPer's: No one really.

Isa sat, waiting for Tero to return with some news, or at least a sandwich to chew on. Her earlier chemical burns seemed to stop seeping into her skin, and were now just red blotched marks along the sides of her fingers. She was humming a song to herself while Borvos had his arms crossed, leaning against the door to make sure no one bothered them in the slightest. Tero had the ability to move through the vents if she wanted to. Isa continued to twirl the knife around in more complex ways when something on her person beeped. Like the crazy person she was, she threw the knife into the ceiling, and pulled out a phone that was more used for checking text messages than actually talking to people. She was not too impressed with the fact someone wasn’t speaking to her directly, and found it cowardly. That was until she saw Mile’s name come up, and that unpleasant glower turned into a half amused, evil grin.

“Well look at that, the man who wants to be god must have heard me. That or I’m turning into a psychic.” She thought aloud, moving her gaze up towards the end of her statement.

Isa read each and every word carefully, practically beaming with psychotic glee at the first sentence. Fantastic list was right, it wasn’t just one target this time, it was five. They weren’t simple targets either, they were Ex Champions of the world, making them interesting targets. Isa’s heart practically jumped when she read ‘some people need to die’. Words straight from her own, twisted, blackened heart. That wasn’t the best part of it to her though. Somehow having Miles tell her to ‘eliminate them however she liked’ made her all the more pleased. She would have done it her own way anyway and found an excuse for doing so, if she was really against that kind of assassination, but having someone tell her you could kill people however she wanted was just like telling her she had won the lottery. The last part of the message, she focused on with maniacal intent.

‘… publicly display their carcasses for everyone to see.’

There was a gleam in Isa’s eye. Miles had just given her to not only kill five complicated targets however she wanted, but to make a pretty little display of them, however she wanted. She knew what result that would come to; mass panic, fear, dread, hopelessness. Everything Isa would be inflicting, and having control over. It was just, perfect, and by now, Isa was giggling in a dark, inhuman way. She put her phone away and continued to think to herself how much fun she was going to have with this. Despite her mental high on the idea of mutilating people for public display, she was still able to catch Everette before his blade point made it to the surface of Isa’s desk. She quickly sheathed him, and resumed being over joyed. There was always something wrong when a psychopath was overjoyed.

“Ha ha ha… ah Miles.” She spoke softly, pushing the hair out from in front of her face. “Oh I could kiss you for this.”

Borvo’s grunted, shook his head and gave Isa a look that basically had ‘wtf’ written all over it. Isa glared at him. “It’s a figure of speech Borvos, don’t let it go to your head.”

Borvos shrugged and accepted it. Having Isa say normal things was not normal for her at all. Isa stood up from her desk, just as Tero came back holding a Styrofoam container with a big smirk on her face. Isa was pleased to see her come back on time.

“Ah, good girl Tero. Miles gave us some people to murder and make pretty little displays of, and they aren’t normal little displays either.”

Tero nearly squealed as the span around in a circle. The news to her was grand news, as she could finally get out of the confinements of hallways and vents.

“Now we need Mara to go tell Yerazig to find out where Wallace has been. Luckily that Stone boy lives in the same area so get information on him too. Now as for Alder… hmm… yes Alder first.” Isa instructed the rest of them. “Let’s be off now kiddies.”

Jingka Givrali
Freelancer: Darkrai
Psychiatric Correctional Facility outside Anville Town, Unova
ARPer's: Socratic

Jingka watched as one of the doctors, and not the guards seemed to motion towards her, making sure they were the one to watch her while everyone else was processed. He did it after bumping into the warden, which to her, didn’t make much sense after the stunt she just pulled. Even a clumsy person who was new would have avoided giving her any reason to snap at them. She thought that was unnecessary, so doing it in the first place meant that he wanted her full attention for a reason. If it was a staff member who had been there for some time, then he would already know not to bother the warden, unless he found himself on some kind of ego trip and could get away with what he wanted, or either simply did not care. She could see his demeanor change just a moment before approaching her, and she looked at his face quickly. There was something off about his face, something wasn’t there that needed to be.

It wasn’t until he put his arm around her, that Jingka wondered really what he was doing. Any normal person would have pulled away, but Jingka wasn’t a normal person at heart, and she was acting as a ‘rambling lunatic’. It wasn’t until she felt a slight touch on the side of her neck that her natural instincts wanted to kick in. The neck had a pressure point, a very specific one, never mind his tone of voice and how he wasn’t applying that much pressure just seemed to screamed a typical male that didn’t think with his head. Something still didn’t add up though, and Jingka was trying to figure it out, only she had one problem.

‘What is he doing—why are you letting him do that Jingka? I can feel him and it’s entirely uncomfortable!’

‘It’s my body you’re in; you’re going to have to deal with it. Now stop messing with my body language, and making my neck so tense.’

‘It’s awful-do you humans have to deal with this on a regular basis? It’s HORRIBLE! Can I please just shock him?’

‘No. I’m trying to think and you’re making it difficult-’

‘He’s not even just going up and down like you say normal stupid human males do-MAKE HIM STOP ITS UNCOMFORTABLE!’

‘Pulse would you-wait…’

Jingka could feel it, he wasn’t just stroking her neck randomly. No he was writing something. The analyst retraced the feeling as quickly as she could, one of her eyes half closed to she could better imaging the lines on the dark side of her eye lid. She was sure, they were letters, and it was a message. That would explain the missing component of his posture, the fact he bumped into the warden. That actually explained a lot to her, and she sat there for a moment.

“Hmm…”

‘You’re not actually going to go with what this-’

‘Pulse. Quiet please, I’m supposed to be a ‘mental’ patient.’

“Oh… eleven.” She responded quietly. “Is that the time of day? Could you let her know? She might want to too. She charms too, but likes cover up for those blemishes.”

Jingka wasn’t the only one around. One of her other party members was currently sitting on the wall, completely invisible from the remaining human beings. The one in question was a master of illusions who was just waiting on a break out to begin, so she could make their cover. However with this new development of someone who was starting to seem more familiar with each passing second, there was going to be a slight change in plans.

‘I can’t believe you are going with this. Never mind you compared Endra to make-up.’

‘I’d think since you could literally get inside my head, you’d see he’s faking it.’ Jingka thought to the little voice in her head. ‘Now Pulse, relax, you’re throwing me off. I need you to focus on moving me around properly, as I had to wake you up to get off the train like a somewhat normal human being without lethargy.’

Miles Kahane
ENDoG Leader
ENDoG Command Center, Castelia City, Unova
Affected RPers: N/A

The latest report had confirmed that the remaining legendaries were now in hiding and their influence was being heavily suppressed. But that wasn't enough. I wanted them under complete ENDoG control, and if I couldn't get that, then I wanted them dead. In some of these cases, the report confirmed that attempts made on these particular remaining Pokémon had been met with failure. An assault on Giratina would require a breach into the Reverse World, which was being worked on, but would still be complicated. Deoxys and Jirachi were in space and very likely wouldn't be captured, but already the research and development teams were working on the Eagle Eye targeting laser, a high-tech weapon that could be used to eliminate them both.

However, despite how I wanted the two of them eliminated, there was one Pokémon that truly deserved to die and have its own carcass rammed down its throat. The first option of capturing it would allow us to make it suffer greatly before it died, but if things had become complicated, there was always the option of outright killing it and being done with the whole charade. I had received a phone call on the secured line, and our primary target was the issue.

"Miles, it's happened again," Ben Culver, the main director of the Rayquaza capture team, told me. "We were this damn close to getting our hands on that slimy, green bastard, and then some prick intercepted the operation during the most sensitive step of the process. We needed all hands on deck at that very moment and that little son of a ***** took full advantage of it. He attacked us with an unrestrained Swampert and Aggron while a Scyther and a Sneasel tore apart the cables we were using to restrain Rayquaza. Everything went to hell in an instant."

Yet another maggot that needed to be ripped apart into pieces. But, seeing as how he was essentially begging for a painful and symbolic death, I wouldn't disappoint him. And his Pokémon were deserving of the same lethal treatment.

"Tell me you got the assailant's picture or name," I inquired, knowing it would be yet another face I'd love to shove into the ground.

"We might have, we're still trying to recover what we can from the wreckage," Culver replied. "Sky Pillar completely collapsed in the mayhem, so if there was video capture of the assailant, it's probably buried at the moment."

"Find it, and keep monitoring that monster," I ordered him. "Seeing as how this wretch has already destroyed six of our compounds and has killed a fair number of our personnel, I want his severed head mounted on a stick. I'm flagging Rayquaza for Status Black protocol. You know what that means. I'm sick of dealing with this worm."

"Sounds good to me," Culver replied, still aggravated about this entire situation. "As for that kid, he's one dead puppy once I get my hands on him. I'm gonna rip that kid's intestines out and choke him with them."

We would see in time, but I figured it wouldn't be long before Rayquaza decided to strike again, likely as a result from the destruction of its tower, which I found amusing and was a bit of a silver lining to this rather aggravating situation. Either way, I would adore to see Rayquaza attempt another attack. The additional funding in the Operation War Dragon's plan was not going to make it so easy the seventh time, which would be his last. His hopeless campaign of trying to stop ENDoG operations would end with a shower of blood and body parts.

"I don't care about keeping Rayquaza alive, not even for torturing," I told Culver, knowing he'd better let that sink in. "If the last thing Rayquaza sees is a surface to air missile or the blast of a railgun, so be it. Having him die in the bloodiest way possible would still bring me plenty of satisfaction."

"Looking forward to it," Culver replied. "I'll save a piece of him just so I can wipe my ass with it."

After that, the conversation was terminated. I still had another matter to attend to, and that was with the Skylance System that was about to go online. If this launch went the way it was supposed to, it would prove to be both an extremely valuable weapon when it came to destroying the resistance movement and finding any remaining legendaries that were spotted by anyone. Once Skylance was operational, all hope for the resistance and their "precious" legendary Pokémon would be gone. All they would be able to do is watch, get angry, and then just die.

Skylance had been in production for several years now, programmed to be a secret system deployed by the government to monitor all potential threats of terrorism. It would watch everyone, spying on everyone of every hour and every day, using all security camera footage and audio linked to a central network that would be able to recognize faces, voices, and particular words that could be linked to potential future crimes. Once they were flagged, they would be ripe for assassination, or detention in an underground facility where a wide variety of torture methods could be used. What was even better was the resistance would be totally unaware of Skylance's existence, and would keep recklessly bumbling into the trap every single time. They would have no idea how we would be able to mobilize so quickly and so effectively against them. Essentially, in order to even just have a slim chance to withstand the system, they would have to avoid all contact with civilization, which would only serve to greatly diminish their ability to get their message out to other uprisers.

Doc is quite pleased with the fact that the girl was catching on relatively quickly. Her speech carries acknowledgement of his position, somehow. His (regular, normal, human) intuition twigs him to that fact, but there is something, something that he is missing in that message. Another meaning, hidden among the several.

Eleven. Time. A clock?

Doc positions a clock in his head, and places the girl at its center. He covertly sweep his gaze across the room, making sure to include the entirety of the vector starting from the girl and continuing in the 11 o'clock direction.
He makes sure not to be seen actually staring in that direction, but he calls on his memory of the sight, examining it carefully. There's almost no discrepancy in the vision–in fact, none that Doc would have noticed if he wasn't carefully paying attention to his memory. However, Doc is paying attention, and so he notices a nearly seemless glamour, concealing an illusionist, probably one of the Zorua line.

Doc gives a barely perceptible nod as the warden smiles nastily,"Well then, who am I to separate you from your charms? Enjoy yourself Dr..."

"Hemmingway." Doc lies smoothly.

"Dr. Hemmingway." She smiles thinly at the patient,"I think I'm going to enjoy it greatly the next time I see you. Everyone else appears to be processed. Let's go."

At that, everyone, clearly having no desire to anger the warden, follows her into the building, leaving the doctor and the patient alone.

Doc then turns to the woman as though to whisper unsanitary things into her ear, using her hair to obscure his mouth. But instead of whispering said unsanitary things, Doc barely breathes out,"Do tell our good friend to cast a glamour over us. I don't wish to seen, nor overheard.

Deep Blue the Metagross
Freelancer Pokemon
Northern Victory Road
ARPers: None

As Deep approaches the destination, he notices that the landscape is changing. Instead of the caverns that Deep is used to, there are ruins of a broken building. The building is breathtaking, even so subjected to the ravages of time. But as Deep Blue walks to the back, he sees something.

In the middle of a burnt and broken garden, there is naught but a single stone, an island of gray in an ocean of burnt black. It stands proudly, completely contrasting the surroundings. On it is a single glyph.

Deep notices a woman stepping out of the shadows (strangely, this woman managed to completely sidestep Deep's considerable psychic abilities, to his chagrin). She's tall–easily Doc's match in height. She is lithe and leonine, and while her face is kind, it also has a great number of battle scars, and her posture is extremely dangerous. She has blond hair currently worn to her waist, but the various ways it is bent suggest that it was usually worn more out of the way, at least in recent times. Her face speaks of grief for a fallen ally–not someone close, but definitely someone respected. She kneels, whispers something in a language that seems vaguely familiar but not understandable to Deep, crosses a red rose with a blue one on top of the grave, gets up, and walks towards Deep.

And then Cynthia, former Champion of Sinnoh and most infamous mythographer in the world, gives Deep Blue a warm smile and says,"Greetings, young Metagross. It would appear we would have a lot to talk about."

Arianne Spencer
Virbank City ENDoG Facility
ENDoG new recruit
Affected RPers: Cobalt, The Protobabe

Arianne jumped when their commanding officer barked into the hallways. That man had a voice that could punch through solid wall, no problem. Leaping to her feet, Arianne watched nervously as Myra hurriedly cleaned and switched Pokemon. She said nothing as her friend hid the illegal Pokemon within her Altaria's wing. The blonde felt conflicted, still sorting through feelings of shock, confusion, and hurt. Still, what could she do? Myra was her friend. Her best friend. Arianne didn't like this one bit, but she couldn't just turn her back to Myra.

Sighing, Arianne followed Myra into the hallway, knowing that she would stand by her through this mess. Even if it got them both in trouble.

But why, Myra?

Arianne stood to attention, standing stock-still as she waited for the officer to come by. Lieutenant Timber was a tall fellow, with a strongly-built body and olive-toned skin. Arianne had heard a few stories about him; on duty, he was strict and a bit rough. He took his job seriously, although her reporters say that he's actually a pretty nice guy. While Arianne was glad to hear that, she wanted to make her best first impression (and she certainly did not want to bring attention to herself right then). So, she put on her best salute and waited for further instruction.

Jace Timber
ENDoG: Lieutenant
Virbank ENDoG Facility
ARPer’s: Charmander009 (Arianne) and Cobalt (Myra)

Jace made his way briskly down the halls, watching new recruits stand by their doorways with nervous expressions thinly veiled by a need to appear passive and militant. Panja strutted proudly alongside his Trainer, looking the part of a military Pokemon. The lion shot glares at random recruits, his red, sharp gaze making them twitch in fear. The glares weren’t useless intimidation, however; Luxrays had the ability to see through walls. Therefore, Jace didn’t even have to step foot into any of the rooms himself to check them; he relied on signals from Panja to tell him if there was something amiss. Jace stopped abruptly when the electric lion growled--a recruit’s bed was unmade. True to military form, the Lieutenant made a sharp turn, clicking his heels together in position and ending up extremely, uncomfortably close to the recruit whose room was in question.

“My Luxray sense something wrong with your room, boy,” Jace barked out. Letting the teen sweat a bit, Jace stepped into the barracks and saw that the beds were untidy--not a huge crime, normally, but here in ENDoG... well, it was something different entirely. With practiced ease and efficiency, Jace ripped all the sheets and blankets off of the beds and tossed them into the middle of the room. Then, he reached over with frightening energy to grab the trunk and dump all of the clothing and personal belongings out, making a huge mess in the middle of the room. Stalking out, he addressed the two boys on either side of the doorframe who were now both sweating bullets at the commotion. “These barracks are to be spotless and neat at all times! You two get your butts in there and make the room perfect by the time inspections are done!” The boys scrambled in to do as they were ordered, frightened energy making them faster than normal. Good; these recruits needed to learn to obey, and quickly, even under pressure. “If this room is not spotless, you will be dismissed! IS THAT UNDERSTOOD?” he roared in strict cadences. “I wanna be able to take a quarter and bounce it off the sheets! I want your clothes folded so neatly that they have ninety degree angles! IS THAT CLEAR?!” The two teens mumbled a nervous “Yessir” in unison. Of course, Jace had to bark some more at that. “I CAN’T HEAR YOU!” “YESSIR!” they shouted louder this time, still cleaning frantically. Satisfied, the Lieutenant moved on, boots clicking quickly. Panja had finished scanning all the rooms... except the last one, which had two young women on either side of the door frame. The dark-haired man made his way over to them; Panja scanned the room, though it was obvious that one of the girls’ Altaria had made a home on the bed already. The barracks were neat and orderly, exactly as they should have been. But... Jace had an ulterior motive for coming here. The banned Gallade of Myra’s. Looking from one face to the other, Jace didn’t really know which girl was which.

Suddenly the Luxray made a noise as if confused. Glancing over at the lion and following his gaze, Jace saw that he was staring at the large bird. “Something wrong, Panja?” Jace questioned. Not knowing of his master’s motives, the lion just kept staring at the Altaria as if pointing. “Hmph. You two!” Jace barked at the girls. “Keep your Pokemon put away when you are able. At ease.” He walked back down the hallway and checked on the other recruits he’d shouted at--mostly to make an example of them. They were both breathing a bit heavily and sweating, but the room was now perfect. Giving the teens a withering look before they could get too proud of themselves, Jace marched back to the end of the hall. “As you were,” he barked. There was a collective feeling of relief in the room as he left.

Jamie
Marked Freelancer: Rayquaza
Mauville City
Affected RPers: Saribre Ryu (Should Ilsa choose to go after Steven Stone)

After the destruction of Sky Pillar, Jamie stayed in Mosdeep, at a motel, never leaving the room during the day. He knew ENDoG wouldn't be happy with his intervention and that he should lay low. Over these days, he heard the roars of Rayquaza in the sky. After a few days, he surfed on Swampert to Slateport.

It had been a few days since Jamie arrived in Slateport city. He arrived near the harbour hoping to catch the next ferry back to Sinnoh, but instead finding a bunch of ENDoG agents there and at the beach. Jamie had no choice but to head north. Mauville town. From there, he could move west, through Hoenn, and Sevii Islands to Canalave city.

Jamie walked over the water, on the path named by the locals as the Low road. He heard that trainers used to wait here for battles, be it wild Pokemon or other trainers. Jamie looked west, and saw on the other side of the lake, a cave with a sign out the front.

New Mauville

As he was at the point of the path closest to the cave, he heard a strange cry. That of a Pokemon in pain, but none he had ever heard before. Jamie stopped walking, and pulled out his phone, recording the sound as it happened again. It sounded strangely familiar, but Jamie knew that he had to heal his Pokemon before doing anything else.

Jamie pulled out his pokedex, and listened to various Pokemon cries that other trainers had uploaded. After about 100 different cries, Jamie heard one that sounded like a match.

Latios

Jamie remembered the time when he found the injured Latias. That is why the cry sounded familiar. Eventually Jamie found himself in Mauville city, attempting to find a Pokemon Center. Due to the lack of battling these days, Pokemon rarely needed the treatment they offered. Many closed down because of this. Lucky for Jamie, there was one.

Jamie entered the Pokemon Center, and found a tall man in his 30s, with grey hair, standing by a teenager younger than himself, wearing a tshirt and a hood, with track pants. They sat by a table, talking whilst trying to look inconspicuous.

Jamie walked up to the counter and handed the nurse his four Pokeballs, and showed her his fake licenses for the Pokemon. He left the Pokeballs on the counter, and walked over to the vending machine.

"Hey you there!" Said the man in the corner. "Why don't you come join us?"

Jamie turned, and saw him beckoning to Jamie to join them.

Jet
Mauville Pokemon Center
Marked Freelancer: Latios
Affected RPers: Same as above

Jet sat with Steven in the corner of the Pokemon Center. They were conversing via the whiteboard that Jet pulled out of his bag.

Jet looked up and saw Steven look over at a man slightly older that Jet, and beckon him over. However Jet couldn't see his mouth, and didn't know what he said.

Jet got his whiteboard marker, and drew three questions marks on the whiteboard. Steven erased it and wrote [I]'We need to know if Latios has been sighted around here. Don't worry, he is one of us. I saw the licenses for his Pokemon. They are all fake, and the Pokemon on them are not your regular household pets."

As Jet finished reading it, Steven erased it, and the young man walked over. He shook hands with Steven, as Steven introduced himself. Jet stood up and shook his hand, whilst taking his seat.

Whilst Steven and the man spoke, Jet pulled out Absol's Pokeball, and let him out, quickly putting him on a leash, side they were in public. Absol sat next to him, as Jet patted him, scratching him behind the ears.

Suddenly there was a sound. It was sudden, but disappeared within seconds. Jet looked around, trying to figure out what was going on. Steven was still talking to the man. Jet dismissed the sound, as his imagination, then pat Absol again. Suddenly he heard it again.

Jet held his hand on Absol's fur, and closed his eyes, concentrating on Absol, wondering if Absol was the key to him hearing sounds after over 10 years of silence.

There was black as Jet kept his eyes closed. Then suddenly, he could see, and hear. He was lower than he was when he closed his eyes. Suddenly, without doing anything, he looked at the left towards the door. Jet wondered what was going on, until he looked to the right, without doing anything and looked up.

Jet saw himself, his arm outstretched, and eyes closed. It hit him what was happening. He was seeing from Absol's perspective. He opened his eyes, and pulled his hand away. Suddenly, the voices that he heard, and the noises of the Pokemon Center became silence. Jet patted Absol again and closed his eyes.

"My friend and I have been searching for a special Pokemon around these parts. A legendary Pokemon." Said a male voice. Absol looked up and saw Steven speaking, "Latios."

Suddenly the other man got up, and grabbed Steven shoving him against the wall.

"You're one of them. ENDoG!" The man shouted, "I just risked my life trying to stop you bastards from getting Rayquaza. Now that he got away, I want a break, but I will break your legs if you even think about Latios!"

"Calm down Jamie." Steven said, "We are not ENDoG. We are against the, as much as you are. We have reason to believe Latios is hurt, and decided this is the best place to start looking for him."

Jet opened his eyes, and looked from his own perspective. He stood up, and grabbed Jamie's arm, pulling him off Steven.

"Judging by your reaction, you know something." Steven said, as Jet read his lips, "Please, tell us."

Jamie was silent for a second. Finally he responded.

"A cave south of here. New Mauville. I heard a strange cry from there, and the pokedex identified it as a Latios." Jamie said, "But if you are going after it I a, coming with you. That way if you are lying to me, and you are ENDoG agents, I can teach you a lesson."

Steven nodded in agreement. Jamie walked over to the counter, and picked up his Pokeballs. Jet stood up and got Flygon's, and Steven Skarmory's.

"When do you want to head off?" Jamie said, attaching the Pokeballs to his belt, and pocketing the fake licenses.

"No time like the present. And if our sources are reliable, we should get there soon, otherwise we might be too late." Steven said, as the group walked out the door. They made their way to the waters edge, as Jamie called out his Swampert, Jet called out his Lanturn and Steven called out his Skarmory again. After surfing and flying above the water for a few minutes, the group found the cave.

Jet closed his eyes, and held his palm on Lanturn. Suddenly he was seeing from Lanturn's perspective.

"It is silent now. When I passed by before, it was crying regularly." Jamie said, showing signs of concern.

He was right. Lanturn couldn't hear a sign of any Pokemon. They called their Pokemon back to their Pokeballs, and entered the cave. There was a thick door that blocked their way, but they had already found what they needed. On the ground in front of the door, was a large, blue jet-like Pokemon. It's eyes were closed, and its body was stained with blood, from what looked like bullet holes, and burns. ENDoG got to it.

Jet walked over, and put his index and middle finger under its chin, where it's pulse should be. There was nothing. It was dead. Jet shook his head, and saw Steven sigh, and Jamie walk over to the metal door. He bashed his fist on the door in rage.

Jet stood up, eyes watering at the sight of the dead Pokemon. He didn't hear Steven walk over to him, and didn't know Steven did so, until Steven touched him on the arm.

Jet closed his eyes, seeing from the perspective of Steven.

"We were just that little bit late." Steven said.

Jamie turned around, eyes ready at the sight of the dead Pokemon.

"I am going to destroy them." Jamie said, "They killed Latios for existing. So I will do the same. Those worthless pieces of **** won't know what hit them."

Though Jet wasn't as vocal as Jamie, he felt the same rage. He had been dreaming about Latios in pain. Now that he was here, with its dead body, he knew this was the Pokemon. And he knew that he wanted revenge.

Myra
ENDoG: New Recruit
Virbank city ENDoG HQ
Affected RPers: Charmander009, the Protobabe

"That was close," Myra said to Arianne, as she closed her door, "Thanks Altaria."
Myra walked over, and grabbed the Pokeball from her wing, and pocketed it.

"I am going to hide Gallade now," Myra said, "I will be back later tonight. Come on Altaria, feel like stretching your wings?"

Myra left the room, leaving Arianne behind, as Altaria followed. Myra made sure to check around the corners that Lieutenant Timber wasn't there, remembering him telling her to keep Altaria in her Pokeball. She thought it was redundant to have her inside the Pokeball for 5 minutes.

They soon got out of the building unseen, and headed south to the Virbank Complex. As they stood out the front of what seemed like an abandoned factory, Myra called Altaria back to her Pokeball and let Gallade out of his.

"Gallade, can you please teleport to the other side, and unlock it?" Myra asked. Gallade nodded, and within a few seconds the door was opened with Gallade on the other side.

Myra stepped in to the factory, and found that it was indeed abandoned. There were broken windows, and graffiti on the walls, where kids had broken in. There was dust everywhere, and the machines were old, and looked as if they hadn't been touched in years.

"Gallade, I want you to stay here." Myra said, "I will come visit you every day. Do not let anyone in the door, unless they knock twice, wait 10 seconds, and knock twice again. If anyone comes in the window, just hide."

Gallade looked solemnly at Myra, wishing he didn't have to hide here.

"I'm sorry Gallade. I don't want it to be this way." Myra said, "Maybe once I move up the ranks, I can pull some strings, and have the test result changed."

Myra pulled off her bag, and pulled out food and water bottles.

"This should be enough to last the next day. I will come by tomorrow with more." Myra said, as she walked through the door, "Please lock the door behind me. I will be back. I promise."

Myra walked outside as the door behind her closed, and the lock bolted. She walked through Virbank City, back towards her new home, already missing her old friend.

ENDoG Leader
ENDoG Command Center, Castelia City, Unova
Affected RPers: N/A

The Skylance System was meant to be the ultimate surveillance device, using every security camera installed in addition to every cell phone, Pokégear, Xtransceiver, and data-transmitting device, turning Skylance into a worldwide surveillance system that would automatically sift through all material and pinpoint particular words, phrases, and images that the programming team had and would continue to flag for further analysis. Any mention of breaking the law, aiding legendary Pokémon, or the face and voice of any known fugitive would immediately be flagged for ongoing surveillance. Once they came up in the system, we could immediately pinpoint their location and send in assault teams.

"Skylance," I told Research and Development Lead Engineer David Parker. "Tell me something good. What's the status on it?"

"Nearly online, sir," David told me. "We're still migrating resources from the test environment into production, but so far all checklists have been updated and accounted for. Final installations will take roughly a few hours, but everything after that will be good to go, and we'll have a team monitoring it 24/7. I'm sure you've been already briefed regarding the system."

"I have," I told him. "Ensure everything goes smoothly. They will have nowhere to hide once these systems are in place. If they love their Pokémon so much, they'll have to live in the wild as weak, tribal savages just like them."

In which case, they could easily be eliminated. I could just see them, wearing war paint and wailing war cries just before our gunships and armored divisions gunned them down like pathetic meat puppets. Watching them trying to stab a tank with their makeshift spears would be worth quite the laughs, but the part with them being blown to pieces in a bloody mess would be the perfect finale.

In the meantime, Rayquaza's activity was being closely monitored now that Sky Pillar was reduced to nothing. Ben Culver was keeping me updated regarding the situation, and soon enough, he had contacted me regarding the current status of Rayquaza and the currently unknown assailant.

"Miles, we've got a hit," he told me, sounding a bit more uplifted. "It turns out the kid's name is Jamie, and he's about 21 years old. Authorities near Pacifidlog Town had raided his cabin, only to find that he had escaped through a back window. However, we searched his belongings. We only have his first name, but combined with the footage we captured of him attacking the procurement team, we have a face to go along with that name."

In truth, this Jamie would make an ideal candidate for the Skylance system, just to see if it would work once it was operational. If it really did what it was promised, the machine would find him, track him wherever he went, and he would be a constant beacon for ENDoG to find and destroy. And those working with him would have no idea he was a ticking time bomb just ripe for a fully-armed ENDoG assault.

"Prepare all necessary documentation for the Skylance team," I told Ben. "This little maggot may think he's gotten away with murder, but little does he know he and any friends he has are dead and hopeless."

"When are they expecting to go online?" Ben asked me.

"Soon, very soon," I told him, looking forward to it. "Wherever he is, he will be found...

...and he has no idea what's coming...

ARPer's: None

Shay waited patiently for her Galvantula to come back. Days had gone by on minimal food rations, and the girl refused to go into town. She didn’t need to, she just needed nature. Everything she learned from her father, and her Pokémon, she didn’t need anything else. Though a TV might have been nice to keep up with what hell ENDoG was going to try and surface next. Shay hated them with a burning passion. They took her father from her, broke up her family and was driving a knife into the heart of the world. Never mind the nightmares she had been having. She knew they had to mean something, they always did. There was chaos, screaming, and painful defiance. Struggling and waning willpower. An eye. A red, dull eye that seemed to stare at her, expectantly, even for just that one moment.

Shay looked down at the pool of water below. It was so plain, clear and clean, the bottom was easily visible before it descended into dark nothingness. She could see her reflection from her height, at least a tiny spot that resembled her. She let her legs hang down, and weighed crossed arms against her knees as she leaned forward just a bit. Shay continued to stare into the mesmerizing reflection, that seemed to becoming more and more hypnotic. Her eyelids began to fall just a bit, and for a moment, the reflection almost looked like it was growing darker and hazier. It remained that way until a blurred image of something seemed to flash by, only for a moment. Shay shifted her weight back so quickly, her head hit the stone floor. Shaking her head of the pain, and possible hallucination, she sat back up, looking back at the pool of water. She stared, and continued staring.

Nothing.

The girl put her hand behind her head, rubbing the now sore spot what was pulsing with pain. Shay felt a set of claws on her shoulder, drawing her attention to a black and red Charizard that was giving her a concerned look.

“No, I’m fine Asharas. Just a weird… I have no idea. I’m blaming hunger on it.”

Asharas raised one of her eyebrows while crossing her arms, giving Shay a look.

“No, not malnutrition. Hunger. You know I’m well aware and well taught on how to avoid that in the wild.”

There was a quiet shrill from behind them. The trainer turned to see a Galvantula carrying a small variety of berries and plants between her two front legs. Shay got up from pool gazing and went over to her, and took her bounty from her fuzzy limbs.

“Finally, I could use some tea to clear my head.”

Jingka really wasn’t sure why this stranger was helping her, or at least trying to talk to her under a veil of sensory distortion, but knowing the circumstances any help was better than no help. With the Rotom in her body constantly rambling about uncomfortable he was, it was a marvel that the girl could keep her mind straight at all. Pulse was having a fit when the man took Jingka’ hair and started talking in a breath heavy, quieted voice. Normally Jingka would have found this very bothersome, but Pulse rambling inside her head was the more discomforting thing right now. Never mind the warden seemingly getting revenge on her by letting whoever this was, do whatever he wanted with her. Little tolerance for deviation and power hungry, those were the final observations Jingka was going to have a chance to make before having a hay day with this stranger.

Still looking as perturbed and unaware as usual, Jingka signaled her Zoroark friend by a single, hum of her voice that almost sounded like a sigh, and twitching her wrist. It was only moments before a purple and black Zoroark appeared next to Jingka, one claw raised, and one looking between herself, and the stranger. Jingka them pulled the arm off of her shoulders and took a step back away from ‘Dr. Hemmingway’. With the appearance of the monster fox, it meant that they were under the full protection of the illusion, and could speak as freely as they wanted. She looked at the doctor, knowing his ‘name’ was a lie and was about ready to get some answers.

“So, not, Dr. Hemmingway, as the name usually carries those who have a far bigger interest in plant –usually floral- life and not much human interaction, you’re a fairly good actor when trying something that seemed strongly against your moral intent. I would have been completely convinced if there was the necessary slight curl in the corner of your lip, indicating true arrogance as you were giving off by posture alone.” Jingka shot off in analysis before giving him a chance to speak, though her voice was light and anything but egotistical. “Also your breathing was just a bit too heavy but in spite of the moment I doubt you were really going to try –be quiet about being uncomfortable, that was you not me – anything of a violating level. Now with all that out of the way, that brings me to my actual questions: Who are you, and what is your interest in speaking with me? You seem to have a rather high IQ as I have yet to meet someone who actually picked up on my double meanin-”

Endra poked her in the shoulder, motioning to the other two armed guards who ‘appeared’ to be looking at them, only their faces moved off slightly to the left of where they were standing. Jingka stopped talking, and looked at the Zoroark.

“I’m sorry, I got carried away again. I can only imagine what kind of illusion you’re conjuring up.”

‘Please don’t or I’m going to see it and I REALLY do not want to.’

Jingka rolled her eyes at the Rotom possessing her body, while leaving her in full control. “Anyway, questions; who, what and why? Endra would like to keep her charade of questionable implications as brief as possible, if you don’t mind.”

Isa Nari
ENDoG: Special Ops
ENDoG HQ
ARPer's: Neo

Isa was doing the usual boring routine about going solo outside of ENDoG. The gear, the emergency GPS locator, her arsenal of mundane weaponry; the entire thing truly made her want to stab something as if it were a dart board. Processing usually only took a few minutes, however that was far too long for Isa. She wandered around the room of what she deemed as ‘computer secretaries’, feeling all the more comfortable making each living thing in the room more nervous with each, slow step. As she meandered around, she could overhear chatter about the various operations going on throughout ENDoG. There was talk of something called ‘Skylance’ and people really edgy about getting Rayquaza off the map for good before Miles broke their necks [at least that’s what Isa imagined]. There was of course the ongoing battle with the giant frozen lizard known as Kyurem. As far as the Kyurem situation went, the legendary had trapped himself within a four mile long, three mile wide and two mile deep glacier that he had created himself. The fact he was trapped and could not go anywhere had left him on the bottom of ENDoG priority for capture. Isa knew the RnD department wanted full hands on Kyurem alive, as the thing was able to change into various forms and generate so much energy that they wanted to replicate it into the ultimate energy station. They knew Kyurem needed the energy to keep the glacier from being obliterated by whatever Miles felt like trying to blow him up with. Rather than wasting ammunition as was the result of the first attempt, it was advised to just wait out Kyurem, as he had sealed his own fate by leaving himself in his own prison that was draining his body. He had a few weeks, and then they’d be able to go in after him. Isa thought that was the dumbest of moves to pull by something that should have been capable of causing his very own ice age.

“Agent Nari, you’re set to leave.” A male voice told her in the best poker face she could muster. “We have the intel on those targets you wanted.”

“Good. Now tell the rest of the mutts to back off of them.” Isa said with a whimsical sigh as she flipped through papers, barely skimming the words.

“E-excuse me?”

Isa didn’t alter her gaze, or smug posture. “Darling, I could make you deaf if you want me too. With a side of brain damage if you want.”

“Calling off any ENDoG eyes we have on those targets could have them lost off the grid given the chance.” The ‘secretary’ replied. “They aren’t ordi-”

Isa threw Everette just between the man’s fingers, making him stop dead with fear. She gave him a look that spoke the darkest depths of hell, where the wellspring of murderous intent was. Everyone else in the room seemed to stop what they were doing as well, all eyes in anxious fear lay upon the two of them.

“Those five are going to be off the grid permanently when I’m done with them. If they were plain targets, Miles wouldn’t have asked me personally to deal with them.” She stated in a calm breath. “Now if you doubt my records, I can always give you a demonstration as to why I am my own special operations team. I want all the usual eyes off them, and I want it done in a specific order when I say I want it done. Do we have an understanding?”

The secretary could only nod slowly, his body barely responding to properly moving back to the computer.

“Good. Now if you’ll excuse me.”

Isa left with the files under her arm, and a page in one hand. She looked at the list of targets, eyes falling between each and every one of the names. According to the records, Steven was last seen in Hoenn, doing some suspicious work on the coasts between Mosdeep and outside of Mauville. Cynthia had been playing it very low key, rarely seen in spots ranging between Sinnoh and Unova, last seen on the east coast of the region a month ago. Lance had been seen last in Johto just along the border of Kanto. Wallace was doing charity as a cover and Alder was the most recently seen target, not far from his home in Floccesy town.

“Well I know where to start…” Isa said, turning on her ear piece radio to her fish scout. “Yerazig, see if you can get a tail on Steven Stone along the coasts of Hoenn. I know you’re out in that blue ocean somewhere and it would be fantastic if you could do that.”

Isa stopped for a moment, remembering something about Rayquaza. They had him before, why didn’t they now? The crazed assassin had a feeling there was someone else involved. She picked up her phone and decided to directly ask the man himself. After getting into something more casual, she arrived in the docking bay, boarded her special boat, and instructed the captain to take her north of Aspertia City. Then she called Miles.

“So I don’t suppose if I’m going to Hoenn, there may or may not be a secondary target I should look out for?”

Virbank City ENDoG Facility
ENDoG new recruit
Affected RPers: none

Arianne was about to panic when Lieutenant Timber stopped before them. He studied their faces as the giant lion-like Pokemon at his side scanned the rooms with its yellow eyes. She resisted the urge to gulp--she had heard that these creatures had the ability to see through solid walls. Would it be able to see through Myra's ruse?

The Luxray made an odd noise, and there was a quiet exchange between the two. However, nothing drastic came of it. In the end, Timber simply barked at them to keep their Pokemon put in when they weren't using them. With that, he dismissed everyone. Arianne's squadron visibly relaxed once the man slipped from their hall.

Arianne released a sigh of relief and turned to her friend, but Myra had already ducked into her room. When she followed after her, Myra closed the door and said, "That was close."

Arianne bit her lip, saying nothing. Something about that confrontation didn't feel right. The Luxray had seen something, but Timber hadn't chosen to act on it. Arianne wondered if he knew more than what he had let on... While the blonde contemplated this, Myra was packing up her things.

"I am going to hide Gallade now," her friend explained, "I will be back later tonight..."

Wait, Myra was ditching her? After all that? ...No, no... She was going to take care of that Pokemon--Arianne couldn't think negatively about Myra like that. She was her best friend, after all. But all this secrecy! She was feeling like she hardly knew Myra after all. ...And what about her plans now? She had wanted to visit the NewStar Studios with her best friend...

...Whatever. Let Myra go do what she wanted. Still remaining silent, Arianne simply nodded and watched her friend slink out into the night. The blonde waiting a while after, wondering what she was going to do with herself now. During school she was always surrounded by friends. There had always been something to do. But now... she was by herself. And off-duty.

Arianne sighed. This was horrible. She wasn't going to sit around and do nothing! Myra or no Myra, Arianne was going to go out and see the town. Scooping up a camo-shoulder bag, Arianne strode out of her room and into the hallway. She stopped before an open door, and to her delight she found the two boys that Timber had yelled at resting in their bunks, writing or reading or doing whatever.

"Hey," she barked at them, startling the two. "Anyone up for a night on the town? This gal here could use a guide or two."

The boys exchanged confused glances, but then grinned.

"I'll grab Abby," one said.

Dropping what they were doing, the two scrambled to their feet.

Within moments, a group of off-duty recruits were gathered and marched out into Virbank with one purpose: to party.

Alara Rein
Freelancer: Articuno
Dragonspiral Tower, Unova
ARPer's: Sabi [Shay]

Slowly and carefully, Alara rode on Rush's back. She felt how tense Rush was beneath her, and she let out a little sigh before absentmindedly petting the Mamoswine's back comfortingly. There really was no reason for her to be tense, she was not be pursued or suspected of any crime but Unova set her on edge, and her pokémon picked up on that. She was starting to wonder why she had traveled to Unova in the first place. She always had felt that Unova was almost so covered in cities that there was no true wilderness in it, and it was always swarming with ENDoG agents because not only was it the region where ENDoG headquarters were, Kyurem had trapped itself in a glacier in the northern part of the region, or so she had heard. And wherever there's a legendary pokémon, ENDoG swarmed there like flies to honey.

Rush shifted beneath her, uncomfortable, and that was when she realized they were at their destination. She had been too busy thinking to even notice. She made a small mental note in her head to be more aware, then whispered to her pokémon's ear, "Thanks for the ride Rush, but I think you'd have a hard time climbing the tower. The Mamoswine looked up at the tower, broken and falling to pieces, holding a mystical air about it, and he grunted in agreement. There was a soft click, and then Alara was alone.

It was getting close to nighttime, and it was already somewhat cold, so Alara began to untie her sweatshirt from around her waist as she looked up at the tower herself. She wasn't sure what it was called, Dragonsomething tower, but she had used it as shelter in other times she had been to Unova. People were nervous about it, something to do with the tower having connections to legendary pokémon, so there was never anyone there. As she stepped into the tower, she took a moment to appreciate the pool of water at the bottom. It reflected things so beautifully, it was hard not to appreciate it, for at least a second. Then, she began her climb into the upper reaches of the tower. It was a fun little adventure, and soon she began humming to herself quietly as she made her way up the tower.

As she was climbing, she took moments to appreciate the dusty old structure. Whoever had built it certainly knew what they were doing. Even now, it held some of it's former beauty with it. She took a moment to trace over long forgotten patterns on the floor, and a smile even graced her lips for a second. She was almost to the top, and that was her goal, since no one else would be crazy enough to climb up to the top and disturb her.

As she made her way up the last flight of steps, she was too busy admiring the cracks in the ceiling, the ruined beauty of this place, to notice the presence of another being in the room. When she looked down from the ceiling and saw movement, she let out a little gasp and fell backwards, scrambling to a wall she could hide behind. Shaking slightly from the shock of there being something... else in the room, she slowly reached for a pokéball from her backpack. She hoped she hadn't been noticed, but she couldn't be sure...

(Couldn't find any appropriate moments to add in my other characters, but they'll most certainly show up, eventually...)

Jamie
Marked Freelancer: Rayquaza
Mauville City
Affected RPers: None

It had been a day since finding the body of the Latios, and the memory of it affected Jamie badly. Last night, he didn't sleep peacefully. His sleep was plagued with nightmares. Nightmares of a dying Pokemon. A Pokemon in pain. Rayquaza.

"ENDoG are quick if they found Rayquaza already," Jamie thought to himself, "I'm sorry Rayquaza, but if you got yourself into trouble again, you're on your own."

Jamie packed his things, and checked out of the motel he was staying at in Mauville city. He pulled up his hood, and made sure to stay away from security cameras. What he planned to do wasn't exactly legal after all.

The day before, he walked by the bicycle shop, and overheard the owner mentioning a shipment in a phone call, that was being flown out to Unova the next day. To Mistralton City. After hearing this, he went around the back of the store, and found a large crate full of bikes under a blanket, with just enough room for somebody to hide.

It was dawn when Jamie left the motel, and the sun had just risen. Jamie went into a store, buying enough food and supplies to last for a few days, and then made his way to the bicycle shop. The crate was behind the shop, in the same place as yesterday.

The lid hadn't been locked yet, so Jamie made his way over to it, and attempted to lift it, failing miserably. Jamie inhaled and attempted to lift it again. This time he found a large burst of strength, and managed to force the lid open. He was surprised he was able to do it the second time. He didn't know he had that strength but didn't question it, and climbed in, closing the lid behind him.

Jamie found the space where there were no bikes, and crawled under the blanket there. After waiting for an hour, he heard someone come to the crate and lock it.

The crate was wheeled onto a plane, and Jamie soon fell asleep in the dark, awaiting his arrival in Mistralton City.

Jet
Marked Freelancer: Latios
Leaving Mauville City
Affected RPers: None

Jet waved goodbye to Steven as he and his Skarmory flew away from Mauville city. He walked to the motel where Jamie was staying, and spoke to the receptionist via his whiteboard. Apparently he checked out before dawn.

Jet left the motel, finding an Internet cafe that was open, and paying fr an hour on the computers there. On the computers, he opened up a search engine, and searched "Latios".

The first few pages of the search came up with pages run by ENDoG, claiming Latios was dangerous. Many of them had pictures of Latios during fights, making it look dangerous, and phone numbers for sightings of it. However after the first 4 pages of results, there was some information that Jet found useful. Though he visited numerous sites over the hour, he found similar information on all of them.

~Latios is the male equivalent of Latias, the female Eon Pokemon.
~Latios is a Psychic and Dragon type, but cannot be harmed by ground moves.
~Latios' signature move is Luster Purge
~Though there are multiple Latios, there numbers are declining.
~Latios can see through the perspective of others, and share his perspective.
~Latios is known to have a connection with Southern Island in the Hoenn region.

The southern Island reference fascinated Jet the most. His next search was for Southern Island, Hoenn. After a few dead leads, Jet managed to find a map of Hoenn, with Southern Island labelled. It was southeast of Slateport. He emailed it to his phone, and shut down the computer, leaving the cafe.

Jet pulled out Flygon's Pokeball, and threw it on the ground in front of him, causing it to erupt, and Flygon to appear in front of him. He climbed onto Flygon's back, and Flygon flew up into the air, flying southeast, towards Southern Island.

Doc visibly winces at the mention of the illusion,"I do apologize for the lie. It was convenient, and though it made me want to projectile vomit, I think I pulled it off effectively. Except to you. Which makes things run much more smoothly, actually. I hope I didn't cause too much anguish to the Zoroark sustaining the glamour right now, or the Rotom possessing you."

Doc gives a cheeky grin,"Next time you want to hide out in her, don't discharge electricity, no matter how faint, when you're mad, or at any time other than when someone first makes contact. That way, you can pass it off as static."

Doc continues,"As to who I am. I am a doctor by tr–by degree, sorry. My trade is less involved; it generally deals with not dying. But because of my education, most know me simply as Doc. If you ever find out my real name, I suggest you keep it to yourself, as the instant I discover you know it, I would have to execute out of simple paranoia." His jovial tone does not detract from the deadly threat he's giving. "As to why I'm here and what I'm doing, the answer is simple: I'm busting you out. I have several plans I am able to employ, but most of them rely on your acting skills. How traumatized are capable of looking?"

Deep Blue the Metagross

ARPers: None (maybe Haybale)

Deep Blue blinks before telepathing,<Cynthia? Are you entirely sure it's...sane? For you to be out and about?>

Cynthia smiles,"Perhaps not. But quite frankly, sanity has ceased to be much of a concern for me. Or the world at large."

<Then what about perfectly rational, absolutely healthy fear?>

Cynthia sighs,"Of course I'm fearful. Of course I'm terrified. I want to run and hide and not come out until the threat is gone. And I would, if I was the only one who's targeted. However, every time I feel that way, I come here."

<Here?>

Cynthia turns, revealing the character on the tombstone. It simply reads 'N,' "Here lies someone who fought, to the last. They came for him, they came for his Pokemon–whom he referred to only as equals and friends. He fought them tooth and nail and fang and claw. In fact, when I first saw his body, his skin was dyed scarlet in blood that I'm reasonably certain was not his. They got him in the back of the head, with a sniper round, in the end."

Cynthia takes a breath,"There is no way I can stand on the sidelines when someone is willing to act like this for a cause. It means the cause is worth fighting for."

She continues,"I want to help, but I doubt I will live for long. Doubtless, I'm already a target for some sort of assassin hired by ENDoG. Or several. I really don't know. But my day job could be extremely helpful."

She hands Deep a strange object, pulsing with power,"This is a key. It opens to the room filled with all my research into the legendaries over the years, inaccessible to almost anyone. If anyone tries to get in without that key, the papers will be utterly destroyed on the attempt. Along with anyone within a kilometer radius. Either ensure the papers will only fall into Freelancer hands, or destroy the entire warehouse."

Deep blinks at the key,<Why are you trusting me with this? Why are you trusting Doc with it?>

Cynthia gives Deep a warm smile,"Because I know for fact just how deeply you and Doc will go to destroy this enemy."

<You've never even met him.> Deep looks like he's about to act, violently. She clearly knows something, probably something Doc wouldn't want out.

"I know a guy."

Deep is about to attack, when a thought enters his mind,<Just how close are you to your research subjects?>

Cynthia puts her finger on her nose, but says nothing.

Zorayda Moonlin
Freelancer: Lugia
Diglett’s Cave, en route to underground Freelance base
ARPer’s: None

Diglett’s Cave was a deep, dark cavern--one that people didn’t traverse unless they were brave hikers or mountaineers. Those were being seen less and less lately due to the recent frowned-upon training of Pokemon; the caves were once a popular training grounds for such activities, but no longer. ENDoG had made sure of that. It always blew Zor’s mind how people could conform to government ideas and conspiracies so quickly, going from revering Pokemon and their bonds with humans to making Pokemon into mere pets. It just went to show how gullible and malleable human’s minds were, especially in large groups... She made her way deeper into the caverns, looking for a specific landmark that would lead her to one of the Freelancer’s secret entrances, unknown to ENDoG forces (as far as they knew and hoped). The Pikachu on the blonde’s shoulder looked a bit unnerved; being weak to Ground-type attacks, it was scary being surrounded by dirt and earth on all sides. Dusk led the way with his naturally bright glowing rings until the four of them came to a misshapen boulder that somewhat resembled an Onix. To its left were a few signs of recent activity and tracks, but it didn’t really look out of place, since this cave was well-traversed by Pokemon... Looking left and right, the young woman pushed a specific spot and the cave wall opened like a set of automatic doors, surprisingly mechanical for such a natural-looking formation of stone.

She slipped through, her other Pokemon following. Dusk was last, glancing left and right before disappearing like a faint shadow. This tunnel was narrow and dark, but made of manmade material and looked much different from Diglett’s Cave. It had several passageways, some blocked off, some caved in, and some leading to nowhere. It was a sprawling, confusing and dark maze, meant to confuse strangers and ENDoG agents to ensure that they didn’t find the underground base of operations. The Freelancers could not risk the ridiculous strength of ENDoG... so the danger of the passageways were necessary. Zor put Pikachu and Viola in their Poke balls, leaving only herself and Dusk to traverse the path. Finally, after thirty minutes of solid walking, turning several times in the twisting paths, she came to an open room, where there was a woman tending to a clunky machine behind a large counter. To the right was a dinosaur of a computer that looked extremely well-used. The woman behind the counter turned, eyes lighting when recognition when they settled on Zor and Dusk.

“Ah, welcome back, Miss Moonlin. And you too, Mr. Dusk,” the lady greeted kindly. Zorayda grinned back. Her Umbreon blinked in reply; a friendly greeting from the serious Pokemon.

“It’s good to be back! How are you doing, Joy?” the Trainer asked. The nurse smiled, and Zor suddenly noticed the tired lines under her eyes and the strain in her expression. She was stressed out and anxious, just like the rest of the Freelancers against the seemingly endless power of ENDoG. There had been little push lately against their forces... it was like an ant trying to shove against a brick wall. It felt impossible. Zor’s expression began to fall as well with the weight of that tiny reminder and the two women shared a brief silence, commiserating and feeling a miniscule comfort in knowing that they were in the battle together. That was all the Freelancers had right now... or so they thought. A small handheld radio on the counter came to life, static hissing through the speakers. Nurse Joy jumped up immediately and began to tune it. Crackles and high-pitched whines sounded before she found the frequency, barely audible in the Underground.

“...eports of an unknown...ssailant has freed the Po...mon known as ...ayquaza, causing w...ckage and hindering ENDoG troops... facilities destro...” The man’s voice described what the person looked like--apparently a young man had managed to distract ENDoG lackeys and free the Legendary Pokemon Rayquaza, who in turn smashed some ENDoG buildings and caused havoc for the government-powered sect. Joy and Zor exchanged hopeful looks--finally, finally, something good had happened for the Freelancers! Dusk actually barked with happiness, making both women look down at him, then look at each other. They could only hold one another’s gazes for a second before bursting into gales of laughter.

Jace Timber
ENDoG: Lieutenant
Virbank ENDoG Facility, en route to party with the recruits
ARPer’s: Charmander009 (Arianne) and Cobalt (Myra)

Contrary to popular belief, Jace Timber knew everything that went on in the barracks and dorms of Virbank ENDoG Facility, specifically when it pertained to his own troops. So when the faint whisper of the word ‘party’ was said, the young man immediately perked up in interest. The Lieutenant had scurried into his barracks, changed clothes, and fixed his hair in the mirror before grabbing his wallet in less than five minutes. The two girls (he didn’t remember their names, but maybe chatting over a few drinks would serve to make him remember) weren’t even out the door before he’d popped in out of nowhere, looking entirely different from the stiff-backed, uptight Lieutenant from before. Now he was just a sharp-looking young man with a lopsided smile, looking every bit the part of a 27-year-old ready to show the young un’s how real partying was done. He watched as one girl headed out the door, the shyer one lagging behind. Jace trotted up to them, his longer legs easily carrying him forward a few strides until he was caught up.

“Ladies, care if your CO joins you?” he asked smoothly. He was always amused by his inferiors’ reactions to his easygoing behavior off-duty. One minutes he was a hardass and the next he was cool as a cucumber. They had to understand, though; it was nothing personal. It was just the military. “Don’t worry, first round’s on me,” he offered, patting his back pocket. “And if you follow along, I can show you the safer clubs. Not everyone’s a gentleman like me, you see.” With that statement he tucked his thumb into a belt loop and smirked, waiting to see what the girls’ decision was.

Myra had the common sense not to say this out loud. He was her commanding officer after all. And he raised a valid point. Both her and Arianne were in an unfamiliar city, and it might be safer to have an 'escort'.

"I'm fine with that," Myra said quietly, "That is, if Arianne is cool with it."

Miles Kahane
ENDoG Leader
ENDoG Command Center, Castelia City, Unova
Affected RPers: Saraibre Ryu (Isa Nari)

David Parker had informed me that Skylance was now operational, and this "Jamie," who had interfered with our capture of Rayquaza, was now fully inserted into the system. With the facial recognition software in Skylance, if any security camera in the world spotted him or any device with a camera caught any imagery of him, ENDoG would be alerted and would have a fix on his location depending on what camera or machine had made the connection. It would mean in order for Jamie to avoid being attacked, he would have to discard all technology and never enter a civilized place again. Even if he pulled this off successfully, either way, he could no longer interfere with our operations.

It was a lose/lose situation for anyone that opposed ENDoG. Soon enough, any renegade was going to be put down before they could even organize. But now that the system was online and ready, all we were waiting for was Jamie to make the mistake. In the meantime, other high-priority targets we had flagged for elimination were being entered into the system. That included past Champions that were attempting to organize a rebellion against ENDoG. In comparison to us and our technology, they were laughably pathetic. Their hopeless servant monsters had nothing on our technology.

It was then that I had gotten a call from Isa Nari. It was always good to hear from her.

"So I don’t suppose if I’m going to Hoenn," she asked me on the cell phone. "there may or may not be a secondary target I should look out for?"

"Thinking of taking down Steven Stone first, I see?" I asked her, liking her approach. "Good. I never liked that prick. As for secondary targets, funny you should ask. We have a Status Black flag on a little son of a ***** that goes by the name of Jamie, no known last name. He's the **** who attacked the Rayquaza capture team while they were attempting to incapacitate him, but last we heard, he's somewhere in the Hoenn area. I'm sending you an attachment that has his picture on it. He's already inserted into the Skylance system, which just came online. If he's spotted, take him out and any accomplices that are traveling with him. It's going to be near impossible for him to leave Hoenn without using an aircraft or ship, and that requires buying a ticket and inevitably getting spotted on camera."

The only way he'd be able to leave Hoenn was in a body bag.

"Meanwhile, Steven Stone will be under the same kind of scrutiny," I told Isa. "Finding these two little ****wads should be easy, it's only a matter of time before they come up. They have no idea they're being watched like this, so they're bound to stumble into a security camera eventually."

It would be quite some time before anyone outside of ENDoG knew about Skylance. And even if they found out, the only thing they could do to escape it was retreat far away, and essentially leave us to do whatever we wanted. Either way, we would always, always win.

Isa would be able to access the Skylance system and would be able to find out exactly when a flagged target stepped into visual range of a surveillance device and where they would be. All she needed to do was get there, kill them, and report back. The only thing she could complain about was that it would make assassinations almost too easy and would diminish the challenge.

Captain Martin "Razorhawk" Mendez
ENDoG Commando
Lacunosa Town, Unova
Affected RPers: N/A

ENDoG had two primary targets. Rayquaza, which we had almost acquired before some little puke had compromised the capture operation, and Kyurem, which we were about to take down only a few hours from now. Word had gotten out that the resistance movement was going to attempt to stop us from taking Kyurem. Yeah, I'd love to see those bastards even try.

We had prepared an extensive convoy consisting of quite a few military vehicles, more than enough to beat the living snot out of anyone trying to protect Kyurem, and then beat the stuffing out of Kyurem himself. Kahane's orders were pretty clear. If Kyurem couldn't be captured, then the orders were to kill him off. Easy money, I liked it when there were plenty of options.

The glacier Kyurem had sealed himself into was about a few clicks north of here. It would be a drive, but we had everything we needed, including heavy drills and explosives. If the cavern collapsed and killed Kyurem in the process, it was no big deal and was easy to write off. So we didn't even need to be precise or careful with this. It was more of a matter of not wasting time. No matter what happened to the Giant Chasm, we didn't care. No one cared about that place anyway.

"Team says everything's ready," Colonel Biggs told me on the radio. "Remember, we just need him out of the picture. Satellite surveillance says some civilians overheard about the operation and have tried to set up camp near the glacier. Word must have gotten around when they saw the equipment."

"Figures," I replied, seeing that was really nothing new. "About how many?"

"Fifty to a hundred," Biggs replied. "Don't waste your time with them, take them out and move along. The sooner Kyurem is either dead or in our possession, the better. We just need him out of the picture and to ensure he's not going to try and interfere with ENDoG operations the way Rayquaza is doing."

"Copy that," I replied, preparing to head out. "Mendez, out."

Shortly after that, I gave the word for the convoy to roll out. Truthfully, I was glad there would be civilian resistance there. It was like a good warm up before the actual fight. We didn't need to follow any conventions with these bastards, so it was easy money and we could use anything we needed to shut these pricks down. They didn't have a damn chance, and they were stupid idiots for even trying.

I rode along in one of the Avalanche Tanks, tanks especially designed for rocky and uneven terrain. They had one main cannon, two smaller side cannons, and then two mounted machine guns on the top that could be either used for clearing infantry or for anti-air assaults. With tanks like these, it was almost a surprise a resistance existed in the first place.

"Might as well test these ANX-K prototypes on these freaks," I told the rest of the convoy. "We'll see how good they are on some living targets."

"Hey, Captain, weren't the ANX-Ks already tested on living Pokémon?" Corporal Hart asked me as he warmed up his hands. "I could have sworn those were the rifles that practically turned their targets into paste."

"Yeah, you're right," I told the Corporal. "ENDoG tests every weapon and device on living Pokémon before mass producing it for the field. We just haven't tested it on living humans yet, and as you know, that's what the resistance is for. Human weapons testing."

"Ah, that's what you were talking about!" Corporal Hart laughed. "Okay, I gotcha. Should be fun, I'm sure. Sure hope the resistance likes burying their guys in a soup can."

When we were done with the resistance, there wouldn't be enough left of them to make gravy.

It had been a day since Jamie hid in the crate in Mauville city, and he had no idea where he was at the moment. Only that he was on his way to Mistralton City. He had never been to Unova before, but knew that ENDoGs presence there was more so than the other regions.

"Maybe Rayquaza has them too scared to have much more of a presence in Hoenn." Jamie thought to himself as he chuckled.

He didn't know why he decided to stow away. He knew he couldn't stay in one place too long, and the opportunity presented itself to Jamie on a silver platter, when the loud shop owner mentioned the shipment. Jet
Mark Freelancer: Latios
Southern Island, Hoenn
Affected RPers: None

Flygon dived down from the clouds, as Southern Island came into view. The Island was small, and clear on the south side, but densly wooded further north. The pair landed, as Jet instructed Flygon to wait at the entrance to the woods. If Latios and Latias were known to be here sometimes, Jet wouldn't put it past ENDoG to show their faces.

Jet entered the woods, spending the next half hour looking around. After a little while, he sat on a rock, and wondered where he was. He knew he came onto the island from the south, and had a compass on his Pokegear to get himself back, but had no idea where to go.

[I]West[I]

The thought was completely random, and none of his thoughts in the second earlier would have put it in his head. it was as if the thought wasn't his own. Jet pulled out his Pokegear, and opened the compass on that, following it westward. After a while, he found a clearing which shocked him.

The ground was littered with bodies of dead Pokemon. Jet recognised some as Latios, and guessed the red ones were Latias. ENDoG had already been here.

Jet looked around, for any sign of survivors. He knew there can't be many Latios and Latias left in the wild, and that any survivors is a good sign. There were none. Jet turned to leave the clearing, until he saw a sparkle from the corner of his eye. A sparkle from under the dirt near a tree.

Jet walked over to the tree, and moved away the dirt with his hands. Underneath the dirt was a glass sphere with a blue light in it. It was roughly the size of a Pokeball and was cold at first, but after a second in Jet's hands, warmed up considerably. Jet cleaned off the dirt with his shirt, and pocketed the orb. After doing another check that there weren't any survivors, Jet put his fingers into his mouth and whistled, calling Flygon over. While he waited for Flygon to arrive, he threw Blaziken, and Absol's Pokeballs into the air, and they erupted, letting out the two Pokemon. They looked around, and were instantly overcome with a feeling if despair at the sight of the massacre.

"They deserve a decent burial." Jet said, pulling some rope out of his bag.

"You guys start digging." He said. Jet grabbed some sticks, and tied them together in the shape of crucifixes. When he made one for each of them, he helped his own Pokemon dig, giving the Eon Pokemon the burial they deserved.

Nadra Ferrer.
Marked Freelancer (Ho-Oh).
Floccesy Town.
ARPers: None.

The steady flapping of Ramman's wings soothed Nadra's anxious heart, serving to somewhat ease the stress she'd been getting from the past several days. She felt heartsick from her incessant nightmares, and the pain of the captive Ho-Oh was never far from her mind. The dreams, however, were becoming more clear with time, and when she closed her voice she could almost hear the bird's cries egging her on. Ho-Oh seemed to be always moving, always shifting, and now its pain was leading her to Unova.

However, the impulses that Nadra was getting were faint, at best. While she did know the general area that Ho-Oh was in, she wasn't entirely sure of specifics. She needed someone who knew the area and knew ENDoG, and there was only one person she knew who could and would help her.

As soon as the coast came into sight, Nadra had Ramman land and recalled him. She wished that she could take him with her, but that was an impossibility. Instead, she let Keelin out. The slim Espeon looked happy to be free, and gave Nadra one of her rare, quick smiles. Let me guess, she said telepathically. We're looking for Alder?

Nadra smiled down at Keelin, impressed - as she always was - by the Pokemon’s deductiveness; she seemed to know everything Nadra was thinking without even sparing so much as a glance at her mind. “Yes. The last time anyone saw him was around Floccesy Town, so we’re going to start combing the woods. If you sense anyone coming down the path, let me know - especially if it’s him.”

Of course, Keelin replied smoothly. Her tone was happy; no doubt, she was enjoying the rare chance to be out of her Pokeball. I think I sense a presence in that direction, she added, pointing somewhere down the path with a flick of her split tail. Shall we head that way? Without waiting for an answer, she began walking.

Almost instantly, however, she froze in her tracks, her eyes widening and losing focus; she seemed to be in some sort of trance. Nadra waved her hand in front of the Espeon's face and looked around, rather worried that someone could be sneaking up on them. She saw no-one.

I can't protect your thoughts, said Keelin suddenly, coming out of her daze. She says she won't let me, because she needs to see your intentions so that he won't be in any danger -

"I apologize for the inconvenience." The deep voice made Nadra jump. She turned to see a tall man leaning against a nearby tree, a Reuniclus hovering at his side. He was tan and well-muscled from years spent in the sun, and while his face was lined with age his bright orange hair gave him a much younger appearance. There was a smile on his face, although he seemed quite tense. "But Isis likes to be able to sense peoples' intentions, so that it's a lot harder for me to come to harm." He tilted his head. "What's your name?"

"Um," gulped Nadra. She was painfully aware that she was standing in front of one of the most powerful Freelancers in the entire world, and that he could call on any one of his Pokemon to smash her into dust if she seemed untrustworthy. "I'm named Nadra, and this," she gestured to Keelin, who nodded curtly, "is Keelin."

Alder nodded. "It's a promising sign that you introduced your Pokemon," he confessed. "Most ENDoG agents treat them as lower than the dirt." He crossed his arms - forget his Pokemon, Alder, despite his age, could have taken a lot of people in a fistfight. "Well, Keelin just got through telling Isis that you were looking for me, although she was a bit... cryptic." Keelin looked quite prim under Alder's somewhat accusing stare. "You don't look threatening, you're revealing your Pokemon, and Isis says that you have no desire to kill me, so I'll assume you're a Freelancer for now. But pardon me if I don't exactly shake your hand. I haven't had anyone trying to gut me or blow my brains out yet, but right now it's only a matter of time." He chuckled softly, but there was an air of bitterness in the sound.

Nadra hesitated. "Mister Alder, sir," she began, "I need to ask you some questions. Is this area... safe?"

"About as safe as anywhere," Alder replied with a slight shrug. His smile softened just a little, which reassured Nadra a great deal. She had been running for so long, she had almost forgotten that there were some human beings worth trusting. "What do you need to know?"

Thomas White.
ENDoG Agent (Grunt).
Pacifidlog Town, Hoenn.
ARPers: None.

The Pacifidlog outpost was one of the most boring places imaginable. It was mostly a joke; the only Freelancer activity there was the occasional idiot trying to smuggle sea Pokemon to their friends in Lilycove or Slateport, and even that was becoming rare due to the increased unpredictability of the wild tides. Even with the latent Rayquaza business, layabout grunts like Thomas weren't going to see a lot of action, seeing as they were there for the 'defense of the people'. Thomas didn't mind the monotony, mostly - although he didn't like feeling that he wasn't making much of a difference.

But that feeling was far from his mind as he sat by the little plastic table, playing cards with a few other idle grunts while his Altaria, Birdon, looked on from one of the rooftops with a lazy sort of interest. He was doing rather well, despite the fact that they were playing his least favorite game. "One four," he said, laying down a card face-down on the haphazard heap. One of his comrades gave him a long, searching look.

"Bullshit," he laughed finally, and a slight flush crept into Thomas's cheeks as his winning streak came to a screeching halt. Wordlessly, he picked up the pile in the middle and attempted to get it into some sort of order. Still chuckling as he watched Thomas's distress, the other grunt laid down his own cards on the freshly cleared table. "Three fives."

There was a sudden rumble off in the distance, somewhere east. Birdon's eyes were immediately toward it, and soon, everyone else was looking. For a while, there was dead silence - no grating Wingulls' cries or chatter from the citizens. The only noise was the lapping of the water as an unusually high tide rolled by, rocked the rafts beneath their feet slightly, and moved on.

Thomas spoke first, his mouth dry. "That came from the area around Sky Pillar." No one said anything to that. "We should go and see what's happened."

The commanding officer in the town - a tall, intimidating young woman named Moira Slate - replied. "Yeah. Yeah, go on, Whitey. Take Burke with you and see what's happening. If any of our own are in trouble..."

"We'll help them," Thomas promised. He gestured to Birdon, who hopped off the roof and landed beside him. Burke - the grunt who had moments ago called Thomas's bluff - climbed on the back of his own mount, a big Swellow with razor-sharp claws. For a second, the two exchanged uneasy glances; then Birdon abruptly took to the air with a flap of his cotton-ball wings, taking Thomas far over the ocean.

Sky Pillar was a complete and total wreck. Where the proud skyscraper had once stood, there was a pile of smashed building parts. The sea was a churning mass of rubble, while the rock beneath the pillar's remnants was cracked almost to the point of being shattered. A column of dust rose up from the ruins; from that distance, Thomas couldn't tell whether it was smoke or debris. There were faint signs of movement below, indicating that some few had miraculously survived, but Thomas was fairly certain that he could also see some darkly-garbed bodies and red smears on the ancient stones.

"Bullshit," Burke muttered, and that pretty much summed it up.

The sun was just ending its setting process. Shay had huddled up behind some debris out of paranoia of anyone finding her. She lay against the hide of her Hydreigon and tossed her head back in forth, for another nightmare had come to visit. It was similar to the others, distortion, some lightning and things crumbling away. It looked like the world was ending, and it felt like the world was ending in her mind. The worst part of it, was that it felt draining, she felt her life being sucked away in attempts to try and stick the broken pieces back together. Some places moved in slow motion, where other sped up. Shay could barely take the inconsistencies with whatever mental reality she had herself trapped in. She wanted to wake up, but she couldn’t. Something was stopping her, and something was drawing her in. It was then the trainer saw those eyes again, a blurry, vision of a pair of eyes, staring at her from above. It opened a pair of metal guards and roared something.

Her eyes snapped open and she threw herself forward. She was awake.

Shay brought her hand up to her face and tried to breathe normally. The dream wasn’t terrifying but her heart was racing beyond understanding. Soon the trainer felt a small mouth around her one arm, making her look to the left and find Vio-Nai trying to calm her down. The other thing she noticed was that the other of her smaller heads was looking above them. Shay listened for a moment, hearing nothing at first until the slightest of footsteps was heard. She looked at Vio-Nai, who looked at her, and felt uncomfortable with it. The highest floor had the most holes in it, leaving plenty of places for Vio-Nai to float around through. Shay pointed at a window, and made some hand signals to the three headed dragon and got up from her spot, slowly ascending the stairs and waiting for Vio-Nai to do her thing. Shay made minimal noises to hopefully keep the attention of whatever it was up there. Voi-Nai floated around the outside of the walls, making sure to stay out of sight. She could see a humanoid, huddling with something in her hand, she wasn’t sure what though.

Vio-Nai took the opportunity while the stranger was looking down towards the lower floors, to sneak up on her and roar with all three heads blaring bloody murder. She was only a few feet away from whoever it was Shay was going to come upon as she took the next step into getting up the stairs while hopefully, the person was going to be turned towards an angry Hydreigon. Or at least had their eyes shut so she could get the other jump on them. Once Shay managed to stand up, and see that it it was a girl, with a backpack, and that she had a Pokeball in hand.

Shay snapped her fingers, as if it was the magic words to get Vio-Nai to cease being threatening. “It’s not ENDoG, just some hideaway.”

Vio looked at Shay with her main head, while her lesser ones continued to inspect and glare at the stranger, before floating towards their trainer. Shay was about to turn away, ignoring whoever this girl was when a Murkrow landed on her shoulder. Shay stared at it for a while, wondering why it felt so comfortable sitting on her when she realized who the Murkrow was, and that it had something tied to its leg. She removed the small cylinder, and opened it, letting out a small, typewritten note.

Can anyone contact Henry’s email? Very important. Reply before after noon kay?

Shay sighed, and stuffed the note in her pocket. “I just wanted to stay away from town… Vio-Nai, were heading out. Stay low under the forest until its more pitch black out.”

She looked at the stranger for a second, and then mounted the Hydreigon. “I don’t have time for a hi or whatever. Not that I cared to have one anyway.”

She prepared to leave.

Pulse on the other hand was going on and on about Doc and Jingka had to force phase him out of her direct line of thought in order to think properly. The answer she was given about being busted out, she knew it was far from simple. She wasn’t going to ask about it though, night was coming and they didn’t have time to go back and forth at the moment. She would do so later. As for her acting skills, Jingka didn’t act.

“I’m assuming you have some place in question as to where this ‘busting out’ will end. Anyway, as for what kind of trauma you’re asking for, you might have to be a bit more specific. I tend not to act, pretending to be something leaves room for flaws and this sounds like a time where chances are not to be taken within a chance that is already being taken.” She replied. “If you give me a trauma with a more clear definition of its cause, I’ll be able to become that kind of traumatized.”

‘Which means you need to pay attention and not fall asleep.’

‘This guy has no reason to break you out.’

‘He does it’s somewhere. I’ll ask about it later if he doesn’t figure out my wondering about it either, though, I don’t wonder about it. I’ll figure it out.’

"Thinking of taking down Steven Stone first, I see? Good.

Isa listened to Miles on the phone with a smug look on her face. She didn’t interrupt Miles, even though his first statement of going after Steven first wasn’t entirely correct. If she wanted to be technical, she could say she was going after all of them right at this very moment. The boat moved swiftly along the ocean, moving up and down as the hull outsped the motion of the waves themselves. Isa wasn’t bothered by the cold chilling of the ocean spray, and rather enjoyed it a bit, even if the salt did bother her somewhat raw fingers.

“Oh, so that’s a possible multiple secondary targets? Lovely, I don’t have an excuse to be bored then! That explains why everyone was so jittery just before I walked in and gave them all a scare. Oh well, grunt work is grunt work. It’s why I don’t do it. I’ll take a look at the last nice mug shot you sent me once I get off the phone.” She answered, fiddling around with a sharp needle from one of her many lethal tools clad on her belt. “Now as for Steven, I’ve got someone tailing him, but I’ve found someone a bit more ‘closer to home’. I figure I make that pit stop on the way and get two flightless birds with one sharp stone. I can’t just be assassinating all haphazardly now, I’ve gotta reputation of yours to uphold. Hehehehh… I’m sure you’ll appreciate the results anyway. I’ll keep you posted.”

With that, Isa hung up and looked at the picture of Jamie. The picture of him, she made sure to remember it, aside from the fact he looked disgustingly young. Then again she thought anyone rebelling against them under the age of twenty three was disgustingly young. Isa also noticed a small little logo in the top corner of her phone, one of an SL shape to it. She thought it was ENDoG’s new toy, though she figured she wasn’t going to be using it much. There wasn’t much fun in having someone always pointing out where Waldo was now was it?

“We’ll be arriving on the coast within the half hour.”

“Excellent. Time for some open season.”

There was still no sighting of Jamie, but that didn't matter. It was only a matter of time before he was slaughtered. Brazen idiots like him never stay alive for long.

I had gotten Isa's response, but Jamie was still only a secondary target. If she was onto Steven Stone, I'd rather have that bastard dead before Jamie. Jamie was a nobody. Just some punk kid who got lucky once. Steven, on the other hand, was a hero to the resistance. His head on a platter was much more of a priority.

"Focus on Steven and the others for now," I told Isa. "Jamie, while as much as I'd love to see his severed head kicked through a field goal, is still just a nobody and he can rot slowly for all I care. If he and you are in the area by the time Skylance tracks him, by all means, rip out his spine through his mouth. Otherwise, stay on target with Steven Stone. I'd rather have him dead first. Don't let this sidetrack you, that's just what these maggots would want."

Unfortunately, Isa could only be at once place at one time. Steven was slightly more... dangerous than Jamie. Steven had the potential to unite the rebelling people of Hoenn, whereas Jamie had no charisma whatsoever. With Steven dead, there was nothing the resistance could do, and it would demoralize anyone from uprising. Even though the resistance would consider Steven a martyr, he was still dead and out of the way. Come a few years, no one would even remember who that prick even was. They would have forgotten him.

Now that I was done addressing Isa's needs, I had signed the bill needed for the additional funding for Operation War Dragon. Military spending was up, and now most areas were regulated by ENDoG martial law. Tanks and high-tech military gunships were now as common in the streets as police cars. ENDoG officers were armed with power armor and weaponry that the resistance could only dream of getting their hands on. Meanwhile, ENDoG forces were extremely well-trained, well-organized, and had already been mercilessly weeding out resistance outposts. Anyone training unrestrained Pokémon or using them in combat against police forces usually ended up in pieces.

Besides that, I had approved the blueprints for the ENDoG Overseer, a massive flying gunship carrier that survey high-resistance areas and be capable of unleashing a massive bombardment against them. Any hopes of the resistance trying to assemble an army would be quickly destroyed in record time.

It was excellent. Truly excellent.

Captain Martin "Razorhawk" Mendez
ENDoG Commando
Giant Chasm, Unova

Getting to Kyurem required two main steps. Deep drilling by three massive, industrial drills called the Diamond Breakers. Then, use of high-powered explosives in the holes. Bulldozers would clear the rubble and the broken ice, and the whole process would repeat until we reached Kyurem. That part was easy money.

Once we made it to Kyurem, the objective was to rip Kyurem a few new *******s and either capture him alive to make him suffer a little longer, or send him off to Hell as a jigsaw puzzle. I was fine with either one. The drilling and demolition teams would need to step aside for the military division to fire everything they had at Kyurem. We had two railguns mounted on top of two military transport carriers, three hundred infantry, each with shoulder-mounted rocket launchers, five Avalanche tanks, and four Sunfire gunships. We also had three teams of snipers, just there to shoot out Kyurem's eyes. With the Razorback Sniper Rifles they were carrying, both of Kyurem's eyes were going to pop like grapes. Once that happened, all he could do was hear and feel a whole hell of a lot of pain.

Upon arriving at the glacier site, we ran into a few members of the resistance force, shouting jeers, holding up protest signs, and whining about Pokémon cruelty, military brutality, and some other bullshit. At first, we weren't going to take them seriously in the interest of time and just moving onto the next target that ENDoG wanted. They had nothing to stop the drilling process, so I figured we could just get started anyway. That was until they started releasing unrestrained Pokémon and began calling out attacks. I smiled when they started doing that. It was exactly what I was hoping they'd do.

"Alright, boys, give 'em hell," I ordered the battalion.

The new ANX-K rifles immediately blasted out, resulting in a sweet chorus of hammering machine gun fire. Among the mayhem, a few rockets blasted through the ranks of the resistance. The resistance members were either numb to pain or extremely stupid. I saw one teenage girl with a Charmander trying to attack an Avalanche tank with an Ember before taking a rocket to the groin. The *****'s guts must have been blown all over a one hundred foot radius while the Charmander was turned into glue by the ANX-K armor-piercing rounds.

"Ha ha, did you hear that kid with the Mudkip?" One of the soldiers laughed over the radio. "He whined like a little ***** before that tank round went up all the way up his ass and sprayed his cock and balls all over the battlefield!"

"Wait, wait, watch this," Corporal Hart told the others. "See that prick kid mounted on the Flygon? Check this **** out."

I looked up to see the kid he was talking about, flying on a Flygon's back about three hundred feet in the air, and then one Razorback shot later, said Flygon was suddenly minus a head with a cloud of blood to replace it. Laughs started going around when we saw the kid rider get thrown off of the Flygon and plummet to the rocky ground, flapping his arms like that was really going to help save him. A few seconds later, and he went splat into a few jagged rocks, just like his now headless Flygon. A bunch of us were laughing hysterically.

"Did... did you see that...!?" Corporal Hart laughed, barely able to talk. "He tried to fly, ha ha ha! HE TRIED TO FLY!!!"

"I loved the way his body went THHBBBBTTT when it hit the ground!" Private Grant laughed hysterically.

Even with us laughing and getting careless, the resistance really didn't put up much of a fight. They were untrained civilians totally reliant on their Pokémon to fight for their pathetic cause, which was really racking up the body count against them. As if humans needed any more proof that Pokémon weren't worth a steaming pile of wet ****.

Meanwhile, the Avalanche tanks were ripping the defending resistance lines to pieces. The resistance had nothing that could compare to those armored tanks just making mincemeat of them. Some of them tried to attack the tanks with earthquake attacks, but that kind of trick had failed times before. Avalanche tanks were made for off-road travel and warfare, since we had seen that same, old trick used plenty of times to disable outdated tank versions. They also tried heavier attacks, but the armor was only just marginally damaged. All they really did was stun the tanks for a few moments before the teams inside moved out of the mess. It would take the resistance all day to inflict anything that would send one of those tanks in for repair. In the meantime, casualties were low on ENDoG's side. Pokémon couldn't even get close to them, so melee strikes were impossible. Meanwhile, they kept trying to target the tanks or the drills. The only damage inflicted would simply serve as nice battle scars. As for the trainers themselves... almost all of them were unarmed. The few that actually did have guns might as well have been firing blanks. Their firearms were so outdated compared to ours.

Dead Pokémon on the resistance side were also demoralizing their trainers, some of which became too traumatized over the death of their companions to continue fighting, even though our ENDoG forces were still gunning down the crap out of them. Man, what a bunch of overly-emotional infants. I had four Pokémon and I wouldn't give half a **** if any one of them bit the dust. It was clear, having feelings for Pokémon was stuff for weaklings to lose wars over. It was like me crying like a baby if my rocket launcher got broken. How totally pathetic.

All the while, the ENDoG forces just kept on throwing taunts at the resistance or kept bragging about their kills. I was up to six personally, but Sergeant Parks, the guy who kept bragging about having the most, was up to fourteen kills. Of course I couldn't ignore the fact he had it easy. As the gunner of one of the Sunfire gunships, the gattling vulcan cannon he had at this disposal was a total meat-grinder. Everything he shot at was reduced to jagged, fleshy pieces like everything he pointed at was rammed into a wood-chipper. And damn, he was a beast with that thing. I saw a Snorlax's face get turned into ground beef in less than a second with that thing.

"Yeah, what now, *****!?" Sergeant Brooks laughed, pulling off the one in a million shot of hitting a flying Charizard with his Avalanche tank's cannon. "How does the lead taste!?"

So much for the resistance trying to stop us from bagging Kyurem's ass. This battle was over way before it even started. I figured in a few minutes, it would be over and we could get back to the real job. Still, it was great for a warm up. Nothing like a few ripped open heads and the smell of gun smoke to get the testosterone and adrenaline flowing.

Do I not get a break before my next slew of assassinations?! Artemis thinks to herself back at the Giant Chasm.

After all, not only is ENDoG attacking the glacier where she usually lives, the only "resistance" there is idiotic enough to actually confront ENDoG directly.

Your valor cannot be disputed, Artemis thinks, Of course, you were mowed like grass and accomplished almost absolutely nothing, but your valor cannot be disputed.

When Artemis first heard of the resistance and the incursion, she had debated telling the campers about their idiocy, but ultimately, Artemis decided to sacrifice the pawns on the board to capture the greater piece. She is seeing the results of her cold blooded decision, now, but she's seen enough horrors (and has caused them, in some cases), that it doesn't interfere with what Artemis decided needed to be done.

The lack of resistance in the resistance made the humans overconfident. By bolstering their arrogance, Artemis has allowed the humans to blind themselves to many subtle maneuvers that she is planning on employing.

Artemis smiles as the humans begin to celebrate the blood they are spilling. They are completely ignoring the fact that the weather has changed from merely overcast to snowing and hailing. With a little luck, the humans would, upon noticing this, think it just a desperate manuever on Kyurem's part, instead of a major part of their doom.

Artemis plays with the rock in her hand, its blue crystals jutting out from an otherwise plain stone. It glowed faintly as the small ice crystals fall from the sky. She allows herself a small smirk; after all, she was already quite the covert creature. But when the hail and snow were out?

Artemis goes from being a quite the covert creature to a veritable demigoddess of stealth. And the noisy humans are being so considerate as to be distracting each other with "witty" quips about the battle.

In the olden days, humans would wear armor to protect themselves from various forms of attacks. They still do, but it is much less extensive then before, and covers a lot less.

Artemis summons forth a chill worthy of the depths of the Arctic, and blows it with phenomenal force on soldiers in the back of the incursion group, where it would be less noticeable that the soldiers died. The cold freezes crystals of ice from the water in the air and launches them towards the soldiers. Several ice bullets enter skulls at high enough velocities that when the crystals exit, the heads of the soldiers almost completely explode. The powerful winds make the snow cover the bodies, concealing them from view for now.

The hit did not kill many soldiers, but their deaths were swift and silent when the din of battle was taken into account. The plan, Artemis figures, is not the blow them off of the face of the earth, but to whittle away at them until they realize just how few humans were left. Those tanks would be a slight problem, though. Artemis debates several options in her head for dealing with them.

Stay back, Doc says, Take a load off, you deserve a break, he says. The next time I see Doc, I'm going to punch him in the face.

OoC: Neo, when they get to the glacier, they should start running into Doc's traps, like we discussed. Feel free to take liberties with their methods, as long as they're sadistically creative.

The plane landed, and the crate, with Jamie in it, was moved out into a warehouse on the side of the runway. Jamie pulled the blanket off him, and looked through a hole in the side of the crate. It was dark, but nobody seemed to be in the building.

"Thank God I can move again!" Jamie thought as he pushed the lid off the crate. He climbed out, and put the lid down on the crate carefully.

It had been two days since he stowed away in the crate, and Jamie was feeling the effect of it. All his joints and muscles were stiff, and painful. He spent the next few minutes stretching his arms and legs, and looked around. The warehouse was full of crates, all containing things imported from other regions. Many of them had an ENDoG logo stamped on them, and Jamie guessed they were weapons. After half an hour of looking in the dark, Jamie found an office. He switched on the light, and looked at the filing cabinet. Inside we're files for imports. After reading the files, he knew he was right. The crates with the ENDoG logo contained weapons.

"Well this will be fun." Jamie thought, as he looked around. He found in the corner a canister of plane fuel in one corner of the warehouse, and filled up a glass bottle that contained soft drink before the trip. Now it was empty.

Jamie picked up the petrol and poured it onto the crates, then poured the last of the fuel into the glass bottle. Jamie took off his shirt, and ripped the sleeves off it, stuffing it into the bottle so the end was sticking out. He looked in the office again, and found what he was hoping for. A lighter.

"Thank god for lung cancer." Jamie thought, as he pocketed the lighter. He walked over the one of the walls, and threw Aggrons Pokeball at the ground behind a crate. Aggron emerged from the Pokeball roaring, but was quickly hushed by Jamie.

"When I tell you, I want you to use metal claw on this wall, and takedown." Jamie said. Suddenly the doors opened, and light filled the warehouse. Jamie jumped behind the crate, and listened carefully.

"I was supposed to be on the Kyurem job, but let some of the resistance get away in my last mission." Said the voice of one man.
"So now you are stuck guarding imports until they are collected?" Said the other.
"It's bullshit I know." Said the first again.

"ENDoG." Jamie thought, "This day could not get any better."
Jamie pulled up the lighter, and light his makeshift explosive. He stood out from behind the crate, and threw it towards the crates he had drenched.

"Now!" Jamie yelled to Aggron, who proceeded to take out the section of wall like he was told.

There were screams as Jamie ran out of the warehouse. He called Aggron back to his Pokeball, and began to run, towards what looked like Wilderness. However he knew he wasn't fast enough, as he felt a bullet tear through the flesh of his calf.

"****!" Jamie screamed as the pain seared his calf. He limped away from the burning building, out towards the wilderness, attempting to lose anyone who might follow him, though by the sound of the screams, the men in the building won't be chasing him.

Jamie made his way towards a building on the edge of the city, and hid behind it, and tied the remaining cloth from his torn shirt around his calf. The bullet had gone straight through. Jamie pulled out his phone and connected it to the secure Freelancers Wavelength on the radio.

"I need assistance in Mistralton city, ASAP." He said into the radio, hoping other freelancers nearby might help him. He sat behind the building, trying to stop the bleeding, waiting for his fate.

Jet packed up his makeshift campsite, and looked around one last time. Lining the clearing were crucifixes, marking the graves of the dead Eon Pokemon. In the past few days that Jet had camped here, the grass had started to grow back, and the clearing seemed more alive.

Jet looked down at Absol who was next to him, and patted the Pokemon on the head. He closed his eyes, and heard the sound of the sea rushing against the coast of the island.

Jet slowly pulled his hand off Absol, still trying to keep in contact with it. His vision from Absol flicked, but after a few seconds, went to normal.

"So I don't need to touch them," Jet thought, "Interesting."

Jet opened his eyes and looked down at Absol.

"I want you to run away from here and hide. I will try and find you. If Flygon roars, come back here." Jet instructed. Absol looked confused, but obeyed regardless, and ran away.

Jet closed his eyes, and managed to connect with Absol. The vision would flicker as he got further away, but with enough concentration, Jet managed to keep the vision. He saw Absol run through the forest, past the clearing, and dig himself into a hole underneath the roots of some trees.

Jet opened his eyes, and followed were Absol went. He walked through the forest, past the clearing, and found the tree with the roots sticking out of the ground. Underneath it was the white Pokemon, waiting like he had been told.

"So I can see from other perspectives without contact?" Jet asked himself. He thought about all the other people and Pokemon he had done this to. Suddenly he remembered when Jamie grabbed Steven, and Jet pulled him off.

Jet closed his eyes and focused on Jamie. The vision was blurred, and the sound was distorted. The only thing that he knew was definite was a pain in his calf. A sharp pain.

"He must be too far away." Jet thought, as he called Absol back to his Pokeball, and called out Flygon, climbing on his back.

Flygon launched off the ground into the air, ascending fast, as Southern Island became smaller and smaller.
"I will come back here," Jet thought. "One day."

Development of the ENDoG Overseer was now past the initial design phases, and had moved toward development of a model prototype. It would still be some time before the process was completed, but once it was, the resistance's hopes would be snuffed out like a candle flame flushed under an ocean of water. Estimated completion was set to be around 10%, as the completion of the design phase was already a major step toward the completion of this massive machine of prowess.

Operation War Dragon also included the development of the Colossus Power Armor, which would essentially turn our infantry soldiers into hulking, armored men of warfare. Casualties would be reduced even further as the resistance's woeful attempts at fighting back were even further shut down. The plan was expensive and the suits of armor could really only be reserved for the most elite, frontline soldiers, but anyone facing them would find these elites essentially untouchable.

Lastly, also under development was Project CHOKE, a chemical gas that would be deployed in resistance areas before engagements. Our soldiers would be inoculated with the cure and the preventative measures while the resistance would be left choking and gagging before the fight even started. The Pokémon they placed so much faith in would also be rendered helpless under the gas, making the domination of the resistance forces even easier to accomplish.

More and more, Operation War Dragon was crushing every hope and dream of restoring the pathetic and ridiculous old world that many of these resistance fighters were trying to restore. Only through their blood and their deaths would they finally realize that the old days were far, far over now. Training Pokémon, gym battles, and leagues were a thing of the distant, easily forgotten past. And the legendaries, once thought to be on the level of deities, were woefully pathetic and easily manipulated under my control. Those that remained would soon be obliterated or be left to have the life slowly and painfully strangled out of them.

There was only one future now. The future I designed. An ENDoG future. And this time, not even death would wait for anyone standing in my way.

The resistance didn't last for long. Not even twenty minutes later, the remnants of that pack of dipshits headed for the hills and were gone. I didn't feel like chasing them down, since they weren't worth wasting the ammo, and I highly doubted they would ever be a threat in the future. Meanwhile, the chasm was littered with corpses and body parts. Pools of blood were gathered everywhere. Definitely a lovely sight, but it wasn't something that surprised me. I had seen this plenty of times before. Things had gone silent for a few moments as we were on overwatch, just waiting for any more of those bastards to stick out their head so we could rip it right off the shoulders. But in time, after nothing happened, we confirmed the fight was over.

"Damn, over already?" Corporal Hart asked. "Pathetic sons a' *****es. Makes me wonder if their only purpose was just to stall us."

"Whatever," I told him on the radio. "Casualty report."

A few squad roll calls went around, and roughly five minutes later, I got my answer. Not pretty. Something was up.

"Confirmed twenty-six dead, Captain," Private Fisher told me.

Twenty-six? That was way higher than I anticipated. These were goddamn civilians, for ****'s sake. What the hell were these boys doing to allow twenty-six of our own get wasted by these pathetic *******s? We should have had this one in the bag with less than half a dozen fatalities.

We really didn't have the time to investigate it. With the glacier before us, I figured we'd better get to drilling before we froze our asses off out here. The air was freezing, and I sure as hell wasn't getting any younger here. Even so, the damn assclowns that killed them were probably nothing but paste right now. I swore, if I found any more of those bastard resistance fighters, I was going to grind off their face with a mother****ing cheese grater.

The drilling teams headed into place, and the Diamond Breaker drill machines moved forward to begin the first drilling phase. Things seemed to be going normal until suddenly the ground under the third Diamond Breaker suddenly exploded, and snow and dust was thrown everywhere.

"What the... ****!?" Corporal Hart exclaimed, trying to see what happened through the white cloud.

Everyone looked on wondering what the hell just happened. When the dust and snow cleared, the third Diamond Breaker drill was badly damaged, and was leaning on its right side. I headed over there to assess the damage, and saw whatever caused the explosion had turned two of the surveyors into flesh soup and made a wreck of the treads on the right side. The driver of the Diamond Breaker was still alive, but the machine was toast. It would take hours and at least a dozen technicians, engineers, and mechanics to fix. I was really pissed. We needed to get this operation moving, and losing one of the three drills was going to slow this down even more.

"What the hell just happened?" I asked him, trying to figure out how the whole damn machine got ruined like this.

"Some kind of bomb or landmine, I think," He told me, figuring it had nothing to do with a possible malfunction. "No other way to explain it, Cap'n."

"For chrissakes, how the hell did a bomb get planted there?" I asked. "These *******s were just kids, there's no way they'd have access to military-level tech.

I couldn't take another risk like that. I decided to devote the next ten minutes to allow the surveyors and the scouts to check out the area for any more traps. Ten minutes later, I got my answer. And it wasn't good.

"Cap'n, someone rigged this glacier," Corporal Hart told me. "Doesn't look like Semtex or traditional landmines either. We found two proximity charges that look like they're working off of motion sensors. Doesn't look like traditional anti-personnel or anti-vehicle charges either. These look homemade, and I don't think we can even get close to see how they did these."

"For the love of ****, just tell me how long it's going to take to get rid of them," I told him, already aggravated by how this was turning out.

"I'd recommend calling in Iron Grinders," Hart told me. "These are unlike any model we've seen before, so trying to disarm them is going to be both time-consuming and potentially deadly."

Calling in Iron Grinders to clear the explosives was going to take another few hours, and it was going to make the process of trying to reach Kyurem take even longer. Damn it, I really didn't need this. Still, I figured I might as well. In the meantime, repair teams could get to work on Diamond Breaker #3 and get that thing back up and going.

"Fine, let's do it," I told Hart, already getting on the radio. "If I find out who put these damn things around here, I'm going to stuff his carcass full of these damn bombs and make him pop into a million ****ing pieces."

Still, the Iron Grinders were pretty strong landmine and ordnance clearance vehicles that were heavily armored and could ensure that any explosives that remained after the post-drilling and post-explosive clearance phases were taken care of. Problem was they were slower than a five million pound *******. An operation that was supposed to only take a few hours could potentially take days now, considering we now needed to factor in this extra step and the fact we were working on only two Diamond Breaker drills. Still, I couldn't afford to lose yet another drill to this asshat's booby traps. We'd never get this done.

Jet
Marked Freelancer: Latios
Mosdeep City
Affected RPers: Sabii

When Jet landed, he made his way to the Mosdeep space Center and was greeted by Steven. They walked into the building and Steven logged onto his computer as Jet pulled out his whiteboard.
"I went to southern Island. There were Latios and Latias there."

"You found them?" Steven said excitedly, "Usually they hide at the first site if humans."

"Dead. All of them." Jet wrote on the whiteboard. "ENDoG had already been there."

Steven's expression changed to that of despair.

"We were too late." Steven said.

Jet remembered the orb he found on the island. He pulled it out of his bag, and showed Steven.

"Did you find this on the Island?" Steven asked. Jet nodded in response.

"This is the soul dew." Steven said, "When held by Latios or Latias, it is said to boost their power. It is also said to contain the soul of a Latios."

Jet pointed to the computer that Steven was logging on.

"Oh that. As secure as ENDoG like to think they are, there has been a breach in their security." Steven said, "A freelancer infiltrated them, undercover as an agent. Managed to steal a heap of their files. However we still know none of their plans. The only files they got were ENDoGs files on freelancers. They were uploaded to the cloud. However the infiltrator was killed within hours."

Steven pulled up a file on the computer, with a photo taken from a security camera. After a few seconds, Jet recognised it as Jamie.

"A week or two ago, ENDoG made an attempt on capturing Rayquaza. However they failed, and Rayquaza escaped. Destroying Sky Pillar" Steven said, "According to this, they had Rayquaza tied down, but he was freed by Jamie. He is now wanted. We must have met Jamie a few days after if he was in Mauville."

Jet remembered when he tried to look from Jamie's perspective. The pain that he felt.

"Ever since the Pokemon Center in Mauville city, I have been able to see from other people's perspectives if I touch them. I touched Absol, and was seeing from his perspective, and could hear everything. On Southern Island, I told Absol to run, and looked through his perspective, and managed to find him on the other side of the island." Jet wrote on the whiteboard.

Steven's eyes widened as he read this.

"Are you serious?" Steven asked, shocked at the claim.

Jet nodded. Steven remained silent for a few seconds.

"Wait, if you grabbed Jamie when he grabbed me, you could find him now?" Steven asked.

"Last time I tried, it was very blurry and distorted. I was too far away." Jet wrote. He closed his eyes and attempted to connect with Jamie. It was still blurry. Jet attempted to concentrate harder, and saw for a few seconds from Jamie's perspective. He saw his leg, with a makeshift bandage around it bleeding, and looked up at a street sign. Above the street name was the name of the city. Mistralton City.

Jet opened his eyes, and felt something under his nose. He wiped it off, and found blood on his hand.

"Mistralton city. Behind a building near bridge street. He was shot in the calf." Jet wrote.

"Mistralton city?" Steven said, "That's all the way in Unova! If he has been shot, there is nothing we can do to help him. He is too far away"

Jet read the file again. However it didn't take long, as there was little information. Only a first name, the information that Steven told him, a picture and one sentence.

SL is after him. He will be found.

That sentence confused Jet. He pointed at it.

"I don't know either.'" Steven said, "The only files taken were those of Freelancers that ENDoG knows of."

Jet moved the cursor to the search bar, and searched his own name. He breathed a sigh of relief when his name didn't come up.

"I wish I was that lucky." Steven said,"I used to be champion of Hoenn region. They have so much information on me. It is only a matter of time before I am found."

Jet pulled out the whiteboard and began writing.
"What will happen when they find you?"

"They will take me, and torture me for information if they can't get past my computers security. If they get in, they will kill me, and probably be closer to finding legendary Pokemon." Steven sighed, "This research is both a gift and a curse."

Jet thought about what Steven said. His research would probably help e freelancers, but if in the wrong hands...

"They don't know I exist yet. What if you give me the information, and I can pass it on to someone else, and maybe even protect some of the legendary Pokemon. You can leave fake information on the computer for them." Jet wrote on the whiteboard.

"Hmm." Steven said, "The fact you haven't been found is good on your behalf. Plus it may send them on a wild goose chase."

Steven grabbed a USB flash drive and plugged it in to his computer. The files began downloading to the USB.

"If I give you this, I need you to promise me that you won't make any copies of this, and keep it hidden, off you, when you aren't using it." Steven said, "And if they find you, destroy it. ENDoG cannot have this information."

Jet nodded as the download completed. Steven pulled out the USB, and gave it to Jet. He pressed some buttons on his computer, and suddenly all the fled were gone. Jet had the only copy.

"On this is years worth of research." Steven said, "Any information I have found on legendary Pokemon is here. Rumoured locations, sightings, abilities, myths and more. I am trusting that you don't let this fall into the wrong hands, and use it for good. It is encrypted. The only way to decrypt it is with the code 'Compassionate Spirit.'"

Jet took the USB and put it in his bag, making sure it was sealed, and that it wouldn't fall out.

"Don't come back to Mosdeep. If ENDoG are indeed tracking me, which I fear they might be, they will become suspicious of you too." Steven said, "Take good care of the information. I hope that it can help fix our near destroyed world."

Jet left the building, knowing what he wanted to do. Hide the USB, right after he decides where to go next.

Nadra Ferrer.
Marked Freelancer (Ho-Oh).
Floccesy Town.
ARPers: None.

And now for the hard part.

Not that she had expected any part of this errand to be particularly easy - in fact, she counted herself extremely lucky that she had managed to find Alder and gain his trust without much fuss. But the fact of the matter was that she had never been good at dissembling, and now she was going to have to conceal the main bulk of her problems from Alder while still gaining useful information on Ho-Oh and, perhaps - if she could be so lucky - enlisting his help.

There was a part of her, of course, that wanted to reveal everything to him, but she had talked it over with all of her Pokemon at least a dozen times, and they had all decided that no one else should know about Nadra’s connection to Ho-Oh if they could help it. It was dangerous information in anyone’s hands, and she had a feeling that Ho-Oh herself would be displeased about it as well. Besides, she had to admit that curiosity and a desire to free the great Pokemon was a lot easier to explain than freakish nightmares that made her feel trapped even in the freest of open spaces.

Painfully aware that she knew very little about the subtle art of manipulation and charisma, she decided to start with a little flattery. “Well,” she began, forcing the tremor out of her voice, “I hear that you’re very knowledgeable about Pokemon lore.”

Alder seemed to perk up slightly; Nadra was fairly sure that she had his interest now. “Ah, yes; I’d have to be, seeing how steeped in legend this region is. I’ll confess that Cynthia of Sinnoh is my better, but she has been in hiding for so long that I can’t help but wonder if something’s happened to her.” He frowned, then shook his head. “So, lore.”

“Yes. Lore.” Nadra gulped. She could feel Keelin’s frustration; what with Isis watching them, they were forced to keep to brief fits of contact. Keelin was an excellent liar, and Nadra could use her skills. “I’m sure you’ve heard of the Pokemon called Ho-Oh?”

A smile, this one quite genuine and somewhat wistful, appeared on the rough-edged face. “Yes, of course; I know all of those stories quite well. It used to live in a huge tower known as Tin Tower, a huge and beautiful building in Ecruteak, Johto, and it brought luck and happiness to all of the inhabitants of the city. The tower, and another one on the city’s western side where another great bird - Lugia - lived burnt to the ground. People thought that Ho-Oh had been killed, but it rose spontaneously from the rubble and created a trio of Pokemon, known now as the Legendary Beasts. It’s said to bring happiness and good luck to all those who see it, but...” he trailed off, as if a little confused. “These are commonplace legends. Why on earth would you need to find me just to hear them?”

“I didn’t think anyone else would dare to talk about any legends with ENDoG around,” said Nadra levelly.

“Right, but why so much interest at all?” Nadra could sense Alder’s suspicion rekindling. “What makes a young girl like you suddenly hungry for stories about Ho-Oh?”

There it was: the question that Nadra had been hoping to avoid. For a split second, she hesitated - and then a burst of inspiration, either from Keelin or her own mind, hit her. She might have a better time lying if she hid the truth in her words. “My parents are Pokemon researchers,” she began. “They were always fascinated with the Legendary Pokemon, and they investigated the old legends. They knew that the Legendaries were always the ones balancing the catastrophes, not creating them. That’s why I’m so interested - because maybe, if we start to bring the Legendary Pokemon back, people will see that they never were the problem.”

Alder nodded, as if weighing the merit of her words and not finding them too suspect. However, he didn’t seem to be out of questions just yet. “Why Ho-Oh in particular?” he asked.

This question was much simpler. There was nothing to add in order to make her tale believable - just one little thing to take out. “Because, while Ho-Oh wasn’t a guardian of the weather in any of the stories, it was extremely powerful. It could summon fire and wind - but it could also heal wounds, bring hope and good luck to people, and even bring back the dead. Something like that could be a rallying beacon for the other Freelancers, and we need that kind of hope right now.”

Alder tilted his head, like she’d said something to startle him. For a moment, she was worried about being found out, but then the Pokemon Champion broke into a grin. “I like the way you think, missy. Hope is extremely important - but it’s not going to get you very far without means. You’re going to need help, and I, unfortunately, am in no position to provide it. ENDoG would track me down in seconds. Where do you think that Ho-Oh is being kept?”

The usual sense of being surrounded on all sides pressed in on Nadra. She could sense steel walls infringing on her freedom, and behind that was a raw force of crushing cold. “Somewhere out of its element,” said Nadra. She sensed a vague warning impulse from Keelin, the meaning of which was clear: don’t tip your hand. Make it seem like some guesswork was involved. “Ho-Oh is a fire-type, so surrounding it with water would be the ENDoG thing to do. I’m thinking that it might be in some sort of underwater cell, like in a base or submarine.”

Perhaps Nadra was giving away too much, but if she was Alder certainly didn’t say anything to that effect. “Perhaps you’re right. Well, I’ll tell you what,” he pulled out something from within his pockets - a pen and notepad. “I can’t help you, but Marlon, Humilau City’s Gym Leader, surely can. He knows more about the Unovan oceans than any man alive. Pass this note on to him, and he can help you investigate further.”

Nadra took the note from his hand and sealed it away in her backpack. “Thank you so much,” she said, her voice alive with gratitude. “I’ll do everything I can to save Ho-Oh.”

“I believe you,” he said, grinning with an air of near-giddiness. “But be careful out there. ENDoG won’t let you take Ho-Oh without a fight, but Marlon should be able to provide backup - now get going, and good luck to you!”

Thomas White.
ENDoG Agent (Grunt).
Pacifidlog Town, Hoenn.
ARPers: None.

They landed carefully on the wreckage of Sky Pillar. One false move, Thomas knew with a grim certainty, and the entire thing would come falling down on their heads. Burke withdrew his Swellow into a Pokeball, but Thomas let Birdon wander - they might need a quick escape if the slabs beneath their feet moved too far. The Altaria walked around with steps that didn’t quite seem to connect with the ground, poking at corpses that Thomas would rather not have seen.

“We should search for survivors,” Thomas began, turning to Burke; but the other grunt had things already under control. A Gallade quickly appeared - a tall creature with white-and-green skin and a somewhat slumped posture that Thomas was pretty sure wasn’t normal to that species.

Burke grunted at the blade-armed Pokemon. “See if you can find some life-signs,” he commanded, and the Gallade obeyed, raising its hands up high and closing its piercing red eyes. A second later, three sections of rubble began to glow and rumble slightly. Thomas heard a groan - someone had been awakened by the activity.

“Right,” Burke’s voice was tight, as if he was trying to mask emotion. “Both of you, help me dig through this rubble. If you’ve got any strong Pokemon, Whitey, I’d appreciate your help using them.”

Almost immediately, Thomas released Booker. The Swampert fixed Thomas with a questioning look, and he pointed to the biggest heap of shaking debris. “There’s someone alive under there,” said Thomas as matter-of-factly as he could. “I need you to dig him out.”

The huge amphibian nodded, looking sober - unlike Birdon, who was still nudging bodies. He walked over to the crushed stones and began to lift up the slabs one by one. Gallade worked on a smaller pile, while leaving the least-covered ENDoG agent - whose unconscious face could be seen poking out of the rubble - to Thomas and Burke. Almost as soon as his legs were freed, the man let out a fit of loud, barking coughs. He came to with a loud gasp, looking up at Thomas and Burke with eyes that seemed ready to pop out of his head. “It came out of nowhere!” he bawled. “It wrecked the whole tower! It killed -” he broke off, shaking his head frantically.

Thomas knelt next to him, trying to comfort him while Burke picked up a slab that was keeping the man’s arm pinned. “Rayquaza’s gone,” he began, but the grunt began shaking his head again.

“You - didn’t - see - it,” he hissed, his eyes wild. “There was so much hate in its eyes; it wanted to kill us all and burn down heaven; it sounded like a tornado when it growled and when it roared...” he looked down despairingly at the ground. “Are there any other survivors?”

Burke nodded. “Two others,” he said gruffly, glancing back at Booker and his Gallade. The other two ENDoG agents were almost free. “Hurry it up!” In response, the Gallade chucked what looked like a hundred-pound slab of rock into the ocean. It then knelt down and picked up a human, as well as what appeared to be a camera.

Thomas turned to the grunt that they’d just freed. “You took footage?” he asked incredulously.

“For TV hits, to scare the Freelancers,” the man replied, rubbing his temples. The color seemed to be returning to his face. “Have you got any water on you?”

Burke handed him a canteen while Thomas walked over to the camera and inspected it. It looked dead, but maybe it could be fixed. He would have to show it to Lilith later; she was a whiz with technology, and to her there was no machine beyond repair.

After the other two had been dug up - a large, older man with a rifle cradled in his limp hands as he lay unconscious and a young woman who didn’t say more than two words - Burke sent his Gyarados ahead of them to get the survivors medical care in Pacifidlog while Gallade attempted one more psychic search. There were, they discovered, no more signs of life.

As Thomas rode on Birdon’s back, he decided that he hated the Freelancers more than he hated anything. So many men had been killed, all because of the Legendary Pokemon that they were trying so hard to free. Why didn’t they realize that all Pokemon with that kind of power did was destroy, destroy, destroy? He found himself glancing guiltily at Birdon. The Altaria had little reverence for death, but he never went out of his way to harm anyone other than the Freelancers. Confused, he settled against the bird’s back as best he could - there was not much for him to settle against in the first place - and tried not to feel sick.

Weather conditions on a global scale seemed to be worsening, although I honestly felt this was simply a temporary setback and would either correct itself or with human intervention, as always. It seemed nature's solution always involved something dying. And that's where human technology would always prevail.

There were many resistance members that were attempting to use the higher presence of natural disasters and weather anomalies as a leverage for their goals and uprising. Still, the more they shouted and tried to get the attention of others, the more ENDoG enforcers suppressed and eliminated them. One protest march in Slateport City never even got out of the gate before ENDoG officers shut down the demonstration, apprehended all the participants, and imprisoned those leading the operation. Anyone who resisted was simply shot on sight.

Their message was simple-minded. They felt the imprisoned legendaries was resulting in a disruption of power, when I felt it was exactly the opposite. Right now, things may have been imbalanced because some legendaries were caught and imprisoned, while others were still roaming about. The ones that were roaming about were obviously causing the problems, because their power influences were disrupting nature without the counteracting balance of the others. Obviously, the protesters felt the solution was for ENDoG to release the captured legendaries. I could have laughed at such idiocy, but the thought that some members of humanity were that stupid did not speak well for the human race as a whole. The real solution was to capture the remaining legendaries as soon as possible, so none of their power influences would be affecting nature. Nature could then run its course on its own without these wayward Pokémon throwing their power around causing disruption. These resistance idiots were too stupid to even consider that.

Destroying the underground leagues was another priority. As ENDoG regulation enforcers had discovered, makeshift gyms and leagues were being established in the abandoned sewers and subways of many of the major urban centers. They were "unofficial" leagues, but we simply didn't care. The price for hosting and taking part in these leagues was high. Life imprisonment for those that surrendered and gave up their Pokémon, and immediate death for anyone who attempted to resist. Very simple procedure.

In the meantime, destroying Pokéball and Pokémon medicine suppliers was also crippling the effect of resistance movement. Without medicine or healing machines, Pokémon battling was not as appreciated if the trainers couldn't heal their Pokémon. Laughably so, most Pokémon hated herbal remedies and didn't look highly upon their trainers for using it.

It was always amusing when two problems worked against each other.

Three Iron Grinder bomb clearance vehicles had finally arrived, but repairs on the third of the Diamond Breakers had only just begun. I was still pissed that this happened, but all it was going to do for these resistance assclowns was delay the inevitable. Kyurem was our ***** and there wasn't a damn thing they could do about it.

The threads of the third Diamond Breaker were badly ripped apart, and already they were heading down here with a new set simply because the current set was well beyond repair. Whatever explosive device these bastards had used had broken the first set too damn much to waste time trying to piece this damn jigsaw puzzle back together. Hauling in a new set of treads was much faster than trying to fix that god-forsaken mess.

Meanwhile, the wheels and axels were not in the best shape. New replacements for those was on their way, but before that could be done, the jacks needed to hoist the drill unit up needed to be put into place so the replacements could be made. Overall hull damage was only minor, and the engineers assessed that the main hull and structural damage was not significant. It would be able to continue with the job once the rest of the parts were replaced and repaired, but once it was back at base, the rest of the repairs could be completed.

The Iron Grinders were finding more explosive traps placed within the glacier. Every time one of them went off, chunks of ice were thrown in all directions. The infantry squads were instructed to keep a safe distance, or else I knew one of them was going to end up with a giant spike of ice lodged into their skull.

"We still don't know the nature of these explosives," John Williams, one of the lead demolition experts told me. "Whoever made these knows their stuff. These weren't made by one of those typical idiot resistance *******s."

"Be ready for anything, then," I told him, figuring bombs may not have been the only thing this guy pulled out of his ass to lay around here. "I wouldn't put it past him to build a pit trap somewhere in there. The drills could pull the Iron Grinder out, but the last thing we need is to get careless so these *******s could have a goddam field day with it."

"Right," Williams nodded, figuring that already. "We'll have this cleared out in time. You tell your men to keep on watch, however. If those maggots show up again to try and stop the clearance, you tear their god-forsaken head off."

"10-4," I nodded.

With that, they continued the clearance operation as planned. Right now, there was no sign of other resistance members, but I knew they couldn't be too far off. Obviously they were buying time for a good damn reason, because I figured while the first and second bombs might have killed a few ENDoG personnel, we weren't stupid to keep running into them. If they were even half-intelligent, they would expect some kind of clearance operation to be underway once we discovered the traps.

I just hoped they really would show up. I couldn't wait for them to be dumb enough to make that mistake.

Alara peered down into the void. She hadn’t imagined it, had she? She thought she had seen movement somewhere… At the blast of terrifying sound, Alara curled up into a ball, covering her head with her hands, trembling. She couldn’t even think straight enough to release her pokemon. She continued to quake in fear until the sounds of another human voice cut through her fear, and she managed to comprehend the last few words of a phrase, “just some hideaway.”

Slowly, cautiously, Alara stuck her head up and looked around. There was a lady and… Alara caught sight of the Hydregion and froze for a few moments, paralyzed in fear. She couldn’t help but stare at the horrific beast, almost mesmerized. The six, tiny trace wings, the red inset eyes, and the extra, grotesque heads that served as arms. Alara shuddered slightly, but forced herself to stop focusing on the intimidating pokemon. This woman was obviously a freelancer, and Alara desperately needed a freelancer connection in Unova.

Her thought process was broken as the woman mounted the Hydreigon. “I don’t have time for a hi or whatever. Not that I cared to have one anyway.”

Immediately, Alara clumsily tried to stand up, and she attempted to turn her thoughts into words. Perhaps she could use the Freelancer greeting to make the woman stop. “Wait! Wh-what do you dream of? Where are you going? Can I help?” The words poured out quickly, mashed together as she tried to get everything out at once.

Ento
Freelancer: Virizion
Northern Victory Road, Unova
ARPer's: Socratic [Deep Blue]

Ento wandered through the forest, observing the natural surroundings. It was pretty sight, but it made him nervous, he couldn’t understand why Cynthia wanted to come here in the first place. There were no advantages to be gained, and her safety was compromised by being out in the open. He pauses to look up at the sky, a sight escaping from his lips. What should he care, if she lived or died? He had gotten everything he needed from her long ago, his life and his freedom. If she wanted to make a stupid, sentimental decision, it was on her head. Yet, he had still accompanied her, despite her protests.

Ento sighed a little, and shook his head. He had gone over this with himself a million times, he felt indebted to her, so he might as well get used to it. He spent a few more minutes wandering before finally deciding that he had given her enough time. If Cynthia needed more than an hour to be sentimental, that was her problem. His problem was her safety. As he wove his way through the forest, a pang of guilt increased his speed. He shouldn’t have left her at the grave, it was too dangerous, too obvious. If ENDoG found her, he would never forgive himself.

By the time he had reached the ruins of the building, he was almost at a full sprint. He had explored it on his way out to the more forested area, so he didn’t pay much attention to it on his way through. If he was right, the garden should be right... here.

As he entered the garden, he almost sensed that something was wrong before he felt it. A hulking, metallic pokemon faced Cynthia. Ento reached for his daggers, but then halted. Cynthia wasn’t even in a fighting stance. She seemed relaxed, and not at all worried. Therefore, it must be a… meeting. With a trace of annoyance in his voice, he spoke. “Am I interrupting something, Cynthia?”

(Socratic, I'm going to let you have full control of Cynthia for a little while longer, unless you object. After all, I did butt in on your solo roleplay. And in general, if there are any mistakes in my post, someone please let me know so I can fix them.)

Shay Miru
Freelancer: Giratina
En Route to Virbank
ARPer's: haybale

Shay was already over the side of the tower when the Freelancer greeting halted the Hydreigon’s flight plan, causing the beast to look at Shay with a form of concern. The trainer looked at her for a moment, recognizing the stare. There was a silent conversation between them where Shay seemed to grow more and more annoyed with the penetrating stare of six eyes looking at her with expectancy. They wanted her to take the strange girl with them, as leaving someone alone on the top of the tower like that was risky, never mind the fact she seemed really scatterbrained. Vio-Nai began to float back up, causing Shay to sigh as she came around the side of the stranger again. Without a word Shay picked her up by the back of her shirt and put her on Vio’s back, so they could resume flying to town.

The flight was incredibly quiet, as neither Shay nor Vio-Nai spoke a word to each other. The lasting veil of the darkness provided the dark type good cover, even if she wasn’t that big of a dragon, she was still noticeable in size. Shay didn’t even answer the stranger’s questions, she only motioned for her to be silent and that was the most important thing to do right now. Vio-Nai’s left lesser head periodically looked back to check on the stranger to make sure she was alright. Night dragged on as a glimmer of dawn began to appear on the horizon. Shay wasn’t fond of the time passing into day, but they were nearing their destination, and that was Virbank. She knew that one of her techy contacts wanted to refill one of the cache’s, but as to which one, was a whole other story. Shay had set up Pokémon cache’s all over the world, filled with one to three Pokeballs with Pokémon her family, and herself had trained. Unfortunately for her, she was starting to run out of options as to how to help the Freelancer community; that is without being social.

Shay had Vio-Nai land just outside the city on Route 20, knowing that the oncoming morning wasn’t going to allow them to fly closer to the city without some ENDoG issues. Shay let the stranger down, but instead of returning the Hydreigon, she looked at her, and pointed to the city.

“Canals, see if you can hang out in there, lay low under the complex and the bridge just in case I need you.” Shay told her dragon. She then proceeded to take her backpack, and pull a thick plastic bag over it, removing her wallet and stuffing it in her pocket. “Backpack is good and sealed, your turn to carry everyone while I go pay Felix a visit.”

Vio-Nai nodded, but before flying away to the nearest watersource that fed into Virbank’s canals, she looked at something behind Shay for a moment. The trainer turned around, remembering they had that tagalong Shay had her mind changed about. She sighed, looking back at her for a moment.

“You want to throw your Pokémon in the bag so we can’t get called out for having them on us? I have to go into town and see someone about something important. Vio holds onto them and watches my back just in case something does go down.”

[Sorry I kind of dragged Alara with Shay. I can change it if you have an issue.]

Isa Nari
ENDOG: Special Ops
South of Floccesy Town
ARPer's:Velocity

Isa got off the boat launch and didn’t even bother to wave her driver a farewell. Dawn was on the horizon and having to assassinate someone in the daytime was just that bit more of a challenge. She took to the forest paths immediately, noticing how quiet and peaceful everything was. Then how much she hated the peaceful part, and wanted to tear it apart. That’s what she was here for though, or at least, where she was going to be once she found Alder and gave his body a nice makeover. She had Tero take point well ahead of her so that she could scope out where the red headed sympathizer was hiding out. They had to head north, as that is where Floccesy Town was located. Isa trailed far behind Tero, who was advancing to the city to try and locate Alder. A big man like him couldn’t he hard to locate in a small little country town like that. Isa was beginning to think of all the ways to display the trophy once she was done with him, and it wasn’t a matter up for debate either. Isa was going to kill him, because that is what she does best and she doesn’t fail in her objective either.

Tero was a good kilometer and a bit ahead of Isa, letting her four wings carry her as fast as they could while twigs and branches snapped against her head. She had a plan, and it was a rather thought out one. If she couldn’t find alder, she’d make him come to her. Pokémon sympathizers took care of Pokémon, regardless of if they were wild or not, and healed them with their herbal medicines. Tero often operated this way, and was only often seen with Isa while she was inside ENDoG headquarters. The rush of flying so quickly without concern for what she was flying into, jut made it look like she was abused, or fled something without stopping. Some soft heart would take her in, and if alder was around, he’d be shown Tero in all her beat up glory.

The town neared Tero’s sights and the Crobat looked horribly scathed by the forest. On the inside, she wasn’t tired, but this is why acting was one of her strong points.

Jingka Givrali
Freelancer: Darkrai
Psychiatric Correctional Facility outside Anville Town, Unova
ARPer's: Socratic

[Due to this being a way bigger back and forth to avoid rapid-fire posting, I closed it in spoilers to have people avoid reading a large wall of text they didn't necessarily need to read]

"You really are not familiar with the charade you tried to retain earlier. Well now that that's obvious, to simply answer your question with my own, think of this: is the aggressor completely taking over with their own actions, or is the victim being threatened to do things outside their boundaries with their own life out of fear? Again, what kind of trauma? Mental, or physical? Since this is your plan that we're going to undertake on a whim, I thought you'd might have more insight as to what the answer might be. However time flows on as water does bamboo forest, so I'll just ask the one who is unnervingly keeping this up." Jingka replied in another airy tone of voice, as if she wasn't even speaking back to Doc in the first place.

The Zoroark looked at her and held up one claw. Jingka turned back around with both hands folded behind her back. "She says first option, thanks to someone who already made that decision easy."

'Oh be quiet.'

'Just remember what he was doing and send those signals through the motor receptors.'

Socratic:
Doc completely ignores any and all of the insults with an annoying grin,"Very well then. It would appear we are playing the part of slave and master." He gets a wicked grin on his face,"You know what would be a crying shame? If that douche Dr. Hemmingway, focusing on the success of his conquest, forgot to actually get you processed afterwards. Wouldn't that just suck?"
-
"My lack of processing would be unfair, but I did have that covered just in case." The woman replied, still speaking as if the situation wasn't serious at all. "Though just a comment; please do not act as if stating a simple fact is an insult. Far too many other people are in likewise thought. I have no reason to insult you, despite your apparent ego where others would try their best to 'pop it'. Anyway, time is short, as night creeps on like a wary Nincada."

'Ready?'

'I did ask a minute ago.'

There was no tone of sarcasm in her voice, no signs of inverse psychology. Jingka was quite honest about her comments to Doc. Pulse started to give off all the body language of a physically traumatized individual, including twitching, nervous whimpering, and restraint to make any bold moves. Jingka remembered feeling similar to this scenario, only it was after her first possession by a Haunter. They usually left incredibly chilling trails in their victims, though Jingka was no such thing. Endra looked back and forth between the gate, where her illusion was, and at Doc. She gave him a hand - or rather claw - motion, clearly signalling it was whenever he was ready to go, and that the false imagery was well on its way to begin the stranger's plan.

Socratic:
"Stop trying to change me!" Doc says in a whiny voice that belongs on a child a quarter of his age. "But seriously, insulting people is my thing. Trying to change that after you've just met me is almost as crazy as giving me your number so I can call you may–"

<NO.>

<No, what?>

<That infernal song that clearly came from the same place ENDoG crawled out of. NO.>

<Sheesh. Ok.>

"Anyway, the panel has officially vetoed the allusion. Although, I have acquired something new to anger the panel with." Doc's smile could break glass,"Anyway, has anyone ever told you that your similes are extremely entertaining? Granted, they're not very lucid, but what do I know about lucidity? I rigged a glacier to explode!"

When Jinkga throws up the bluff, Doc says,"Oh, cool! I imagine that with electrilurgy and practice, you could any pokemon to do that. Which is kinda chilling, come to think about it. But anyway, show time." Doc readopts his arrogant posturing, this time remembering the curl of his upper lip.
-
Jingka mentally rolled her eyes at Doc. She would have continued the conversation, however there wasn't time for it, not now anyway. Instead she lets her mind wander to thoughts more better thought of for the situation, ones that Pulse feels very odd being in the presence of. In fact, he was beginning to wonder if he needed to send off signals of his own to have Jingka act the way she was at all. The specific memory was doing its job well enough. Still, the Rotom memorized the neurological signals to better his own possessive ability. Her body twitched every now and then and she hung her head low. It was clear she wanted to shrink into a corner and she wanted things to stop being within five feet of her 'bubble' zone. Endra had disappeared, but was going to follow them closely. The guards paid no mind, and let them in without another word. Everything was quiet as the darkness brought about an eery type of quiet that was incredibly uncomforting.

Socratic:
The inside is clinical. Everything is bone white and emotionless, the color being a reminder of death and not purity. The employees would be easy to distinguish from the patients even without uniforms and jumpsuits: the former universally have varying hard looks indicating things from jadedness at best to downright evil at worst; the latter exclusively have looks of dejectedness and despair, in addition to many (but not all) being clearly in throes of delirium. This place oozes horror, and Doc can't help but label this area as a place where hope goes to die.

<I think I'm gonna hurl.>

<I thought you have a stronger than that.>

<Yes, but I'm a being of positive emotion. Those auras... They're all so... Bleak.>

<Come on, there has to be at least one person here who's happy. Happy inflicting pain, if nothing else.>

<Are you kidding? Sadistic glee? I'm a being of positive emotion. Sadistic is as not positive as you can get.>

<Well think about it this way: it's not going to last for long.> Doc idly reaches his hands near what is almost certainly one of his many pockets, before arresting the motion. In fact, if one is not carefully paying attention, there would be no way to tell that he is doing any reaching at all.

"Come on, *****. You're nice and cleaned up now." Doc nearly growls with the tone of someone sick relishing a fresh torture. "Let's go throw you in the hellhole you're going to be spending the rest of your life in."

Some of the employees who merely look jaded briefly glance at Doc. However, despite the short duration of the looks, they concisely convey excessive amounts of murderous hatred.
-

Jingka looked around as if she's turned suddenly twitchy, glancing at everyone quickly and making sure to avoid eye contact with anyone. Aside from doing her job, and seemingly avoiding any such conversation with Doc. she mentally noted everyone in the room, which ones seemed the most physically threatening should things go wrong, all the exits, the windows - of which had been reinforced with metal bars - and also finding a clock with the time. She didn't see the exact placement of the hands, but from a glance, it was well into the evening.

'Time is ours. With the absence of the sun, the moon may remind us of the light of which we cannot see.'

'He's moved his hand.'

'I know. Don't get dis... distracted.'

'Are you okay?'

'I'm fine. Just... don't provoke the thoughts and focus please.'

Socratic:
Doc is walking away. Keeping an arrogant expression on his face, he gathers his thoughts to plan out several escape routes, layering many plans to improvise if necessary. He goes to the little douche's room and locks the door.

<Your plans are always so confusing.>

<I didn't ask you to examine them.>

<People are going to die, regardless of what plan you choose.>

<I didn't ask them to help ENDoG.> Doc's thoughts are cold and precise.

<Arceus, Doc! You used to be more...>

<Human?>

<No. Beasts kill on impulse, for hunger or for protection. This is premeditated.>

<Yes. This is premeditated. They deserve nothing better. In fact, they deserve worse, if anything.>
<Are you even listening to what you're saying? She wouldn't want–>
<We don't know that. And you know why? Because they took her from me. I hate them. Genuinely, obsessively, hate them. If that offends your sensibilities, too bad.>
<Doc, you've said it yourself: hatred destroys the hater, no matter the result of vengeance.>
<I really don't care if I'm destroyed or not at this point. I just want them suffer. Are you still in?>
<Dammit Doc! Is there no way to get through to you?!> Apollo lets out a mental sigh, before continuing. <You're a madman for doing this. I'm an idiot for following you. Fine.>
<Glad we're on the same page.>
Doc eventually makes it to the staff lounge, where he asks an employee where the bathroom is. He's all arrogant, treating her like dirt to keep his cover.
-
'Why is he taking us into the bathroom?'

'I can read faces, facial twitches and such. I can't read minds.'

Jingka kept up her charade as she observed more things around the room. She wondered what the stranger was up to, but she felt he was slightly distracted for a moment, as if something else was bothering him.

Socratic:
Doc shoves Jingka into a chair near the bathroom,"I'll be out in a second, *****. If you move, or speak, or even think, I'll know, and I'll show you why you should do what I tell you. In even more detail then the first time."

Doc uses Apollo to establish a telepathic link to Jingka as he walks in,<Remember, the best way to cover up a crime is with a more blatant, obvious one. For example, as a doctor, I am allowed to write prescriptions. Albeit, under my assumed name, as I am legally dead. Did you know there are all sorts of fun things in medicine.> Using Apollo, Doc transmits an image of a perscription bottle in his hand,<For example, this bottle contains angina medication. Its active ingredient is extremely fun.> Jingka can hear a very slight tinkering in the bathroom, masked by a running faucet, before Doc comes out again. <And we have about three minutes to get to the far end of this place. I suggest we move.>
-
HEY! Who is-how is-what am I seeing?'

'Pulse... you are making it very difficult... please quiet down.'

'Wait, this is... this is a Pokemon, it isn't him-'

'Pulse.'

Her raising of mental thought made Pulse immediately silence, knowing Jingka never raised her voice often enough for it to be considered normal. It was nighttime, and right now there was more people or entities inside Jingka's head than that of her very limit. Acting was the easy part, it was keeping her head together, while there was now three others inside of it, that was the difficult part.

'... can't you ask him to wait?'

'No.'

'But your pain is beginning to grow at a rapid rate, and I know you aren't showing it at all because of me but-'

'No Pulse. I will be... fine. Now, keep leading to wherever it is... I mean... hold on...'

Jingka did not often have to recompose her thoughts, not unless she was getting another vibe from another source. She sends her thought specifically through the unfamiliar ambient link between the minds so Doc knows she acknowledges she's listening. Or at least trying to listen.

'Apologies. Now, just keep leading as you were.'

Socratic:
Doc grabs Jingka by the arm as he walks her, just slow enough to avoid arousing suspicion as he moves her away from the area back to her room. They just make it there when a huge sound makes itself known. An alarm shrills and sprinklers start.

<Aaaaaaand there's our cue. Emergency exit is thataway. Remember, if you do what everyone else is doing, no one has reason to be skeptical.>

It was a medical ward for those deemed insane. If everyone did everything the same way, it’d be considered normal and there very presence would have been considered irrelevant and obsolete. Jingka bolted as fast as she could away from Doc and into a few other people who were acting just the same. There were PA instructions to evacuate into the yard and wait for further instructions. Guards shoved her in with the already frantic crowd of people while her Zoroark was making use of the chaos, by having ‘stray patients’ running to other points of the yard and out of sight, forcing guards to go and chase an illusion that would only disappear. Jingka was barely outside when she had herself falsify tripping, and catching her hand on a nearby lights witch.

‘Pulse, you know what to do from here.’

The electrical poltergeist snickered as he left Jingka’s body and moved into the electrical wiring within the building. From there he would need to find Jingka’s Sableye, Kimberlite, and cause the computer to download a random set of information onto whatever computer Kimberlite found a portable USB drive in. Thanks to technology of the modern age, they were fairly common. Once that was done, Kimberlite would remove the USB drive, and Pulse would cause the entire building to blackout. This was their plan from the beginning, but thanks to having the run in with the stranger, things turned out for the better. As Jingka was led outside into a crowd of horrible disorganization that was looking more like human herding, she counted the seconds by, knowing Endra was having far too much fun messing with the minds of the armed guards who were beginning to wonder why their aim had suddenly turned so horrible. A minute turned into two, and two turned into four. Soon it was getting to six minutes and thirty four seconds of being outside when the flood lights all turned off at once, causing various women and men to scream and try to run away. Jingka could feel people trying to move this way and that way, pulling and pushing. She could also hear the strikes of rifle butts against skulls, and people falling to the ground. The girl waited for a light double tap on her shoulder, knowing that was the signal that Endra had found her and was ready to pull her out. She only moved when she was pulled to do so, ducking and weaving between human beings, despite the fact Endra’s mastery of illusions would provide well enough cover. Soon the freedom of open air could be felt as the two of them made it to the wall, waiting for Pulse and Kimberlite to return.

"Sorry Absol," Jet whispered, "I need you to be able to hear, and you can't be out of the Pokeballs without a leash."
Absol looked up at Jet, obviously disliking the leash. He and Jet were waiting at the harbour for the ship to take them to Olivine city, in the Johto Region.
After receiving the USB flash drive from Steven, he found an Internet cafe, and opened one of the files on it. Rayquaza. Most of the information on Rayquaza, Jet didn't find useful except one line.
'Rayquaza has been sighted at the embedded tower'
After reading the file thoroughly, Jet removed the flash drive, making sure there were no traces on the computer, and pocketed it. He placed it in a zip lock bag, and pocketed it.
That was a week ago, and Jet was only now ready to go, after hiding the flash drive. It was now buried underneath a tree in the old Hoenn Safari Zone.
His mind was linked to Absol while he was at the harbour. After a little while, Absol heard what they were waiting for.

"Ferry to Olivine city boarding now."
Jet stood up, and walked with Absol to the ticket inspector, pulling out the special license he had for the Pokemon. The ticket inspector was about to say he had couldnt take Absol on. He showed the woman the license, who read it, and let him on the ship, slightly embarrassed that she almost stopped a helper Pokemon from coming on to the ship.

Jet found his way to the room, and put down his belongings, locking the door. Looking at the bed, he felt a wave of fatigue fall over him. After a minute of contemplating he broke to the temptation.

"I'm going to sleep Absol. If someone comes, please wake me up." Jet said to the Pokemon, who sat at the end of the bed. Jet kicked off his shoes, and laid on the bed, closing his eyes, and fell into a blissful sleep.

Jamie
Marked Freelancer: Rayquaza
Milstraton City
Affected RPers: None

"Thank you," Jamie said to the nurse, who brought him some food. "I'd be dead if you didn't help me."

"I wouldn't let an injure Freelancer get capture by ENDoG." The nurse said, "Though you pretty much asked for it by stopping them from capturing Rayquaza, and torching their shipments."

It had been a day since Jamie arrived in Unova, and torched the shipment for ENDoG. Upon escaping the warehouse, he was shot, and fled. When he was sure he wasn't being followed, he put out a distress call on the freelancers radio network. Within a few hours, a nurse from the Pokemon center arrived and took him back there, where she took the bullet from his calf, and bandaged the wound. He stayed the a Pokemon Center, hiding in the store room.

"You can't stay here much longer." The nurse said, "There has been an ENDoG van parked out the front for a few hours. They are onto me."

Suddenly there was a buzz through the speaker system in the Pokemon Center.

"Someone's at the door." The nurse said, slightly worried. "If it is them, I will lead them the other way, so you can sneak out."

Jamie nodded as the nurse left the room. He followed her, waiting by the door to the main room. Her plan was for him to sneak out. His was far different.

"We have reason to believe you are harbouring a fugitive." Jamie heard a man say to the nurse when she opened the door and asked why they were there.

"Why would you believe that? There hasn't been anyone here in weeks." The nurse said. Jamie looked around the small store room he was hiding in, and found something useful. A chain.

"Don't lie to me *****," the officer said, becoming rather hostile, "Skylance doesn't lie!"

"Please calm down, this is a hospital." The nurse said, keeping calm. Suddenly the officer pulled a gun.

"This kid has ****ed with us too many times. He caused Rayquaza to escape, killing numerous men, and torched our imported goods, burning more men." The officer said, readying the gun. "Now tell me, where is he?"

Jamie snuck up behind the man, holding the chain. The nurses eyes widened as she saw him, and the officer noticed. He turned around to the site of Jamie swinging the chain, knocking him over the head and unconscious.

"When he comes to, tell him you didn't know I was in here." Jamie said, as he searched the mans pockets, pulling out a phone and a wallet with plenty of cash. He took the holster that was strapped to the officers chest under his jacket, and put it on himself, under his own jacket, taking the gun.

"Have you heard of this 'Skylance' before?" Jamie asked the nurse, as he picked up his things. She shook her head, still surprised at what happened.
"Thanks for your help." He said, as he walked out the door.

Jamie walked the streets of Mistralton city, northward towards the exit, keeping an eye out for ENDoG forces, and looking through the phone and wallet. The phone didn't contain much information. However the wallet proved to be useful. Inside was a wad of cash, a few cards, however one stood out the most.

Myra and Arianne
ENDoG new recruits
Virbank City
Affected RPers: None

"I'm never drinking again." Arianne thought to herself as she got out of her bed, feeling as if somebody was drilling into her skull.

"I second that." She heard Myra say from the ensuite next to the room, right before what sounded like vomiting.

Arianne was at first surprised at hearing Myra's voice from her bathroom, but remembered some of the events of the previous night after seeing the pile of pillows and blankets on the floor from her makeshift bed. Myra lost her room keys when partying last night, and needed to stay in Arianne's room.

"You really cannot handle your alcohol." Arianne said, "Myra, I love you. But if you stink my bathroom out of puke, I will kill you."

Myra began to respond, but instead began dry reaching. After a few minutes, the vomiting stopped, and the toilet was flushed. Myra walked into the room, pale as a ghost.

"Wait, why are you in my room?" Myra asked. Arianne gave Myra a second to realise her mistake but was disappointed when she didn't.

"You really can't remember? We got wasted last night, and you lost your key. This is my room." Arianne said, laughing at her friend who looked down with embarrassment. "So are you going to look for your key?"

"No point. I can't remember anything from last night. I have a spare in my room. I will find a way in, even if it means begging the CO that partied with us last night to let me in." Myra said, "you seem to remember a bit. Did I do anything stupid last night?"

Arianne dug through her memory, remembering that Myra mostly kept to herself, and was a quiet drunk. She could have told her this, but knew it would be more fun to do otherwise.

"I am pretty sure you and one of the guys with us disappeared for a while. Not sure what went on there." Arianne said hiding a smile from her friend.

"Damn," Myra said, trying to remember. "I'm starving. Do you want to come with me to get breakfast, and visit my 'friend'?"

Arianne thought about it for a second. Gallade made her uncomfortable, and she would rather not cross paths with it if she could.

"Thanks for the offer, but I think I am going to go back to sleep. I don't feel to well." Arianne said, walking over to her timetable. "Do you have the 7pm to midnight patrol shift on Thursdays?"

"I think so. Should be more fun afterwards, since I won't be feeling so crap." Myra said, showing a slight hint of a smile. "I guess I will see you later."

Myra walked out of the door, as Arianne closed the blinds, and sprayed air freshener in every corner of the bathroom, trying to get rid of the stench of vomit, before heading back into bed.

As Myra walked through the hallway, she saw leaning against the wall a young man a little older than her, that she recognised as a fellow partygoer from the previous night. He was passed out, pantless, and had drawings on his face and arms, with a clown wig.

"I guess I am one of the lucky ones," Myra said to herself, as she walked to the elevator, taking it down to the ground floor. "I hope he isn't the one Arianne mentioned."

Myra walked out the front door of the building, feeling her head throb more at the sight of the sunlight. She had never regretted something so much.

After some walking, she found a street vendor selling fried rice, and bought two boxes of it. Myra walked south towards the Virbank complex, finding the warehouse where Gallade had been staying. She knocked twice on the door, waited 10 seconds, then knocked twice again. After a few seconds the door slid open with Gallade on the other side, ecstatic to see Myra.

"I told you I would visit." Myra said quietly, smiling, and handing him a box of fried rice. "You like fried rice?"

Gallade accepted the box, but gave Myra a strange look. He knew that something was wrong.

"Don't worry I am fine. Just had too much to drink last night." Myra said, taking some chopsticks from the bag. She offered Gallade a pair, who declined, instead using telekinesis to eat.

Myra and Gallade ate their lunch together, laughing and enjoying their time together.

"Can you try and get along with Arianne?" Myra asked, "I know she seemed shocked at first, but you are my best friends, and I hate how you don't seem to get along."

Gallade was silent for a second, then nodded with a slight grunt.

"Thank you," Myra said, "I will bring her by soon."

The two remained quiet for the rest of the time, though Gallade showed he was upset when Myra had to leave. She left the warehouse, promising to come back soon.

Myra made her way back to the Virbank ENDoG building, and found the window to her room, four floors above the ground.

"Altaria, I will need your help at the moment." Myra said, throwing the Pokeball onto the ground, as it erupted and Altaria appeared. "Think you can carry me to that window?"

Altaria looked up slightly doubtful, but ended up nodding, beckoning Myra to climb onto her back. Myra did so, and Altaria flapped her wings, ascending into the air.

After a few seconds, they were level with Myra's window. Lucky for her, it was unlocked. She opened the window, climbing in, and returning Altaria back to the Pokeball. Myra located her spare key, and unlocked her door. She sat on her bed, wondering what to do next.

As Nadra sat on the ferry to Castelia, Alto on one side and loud and pushy people on the other, Nadra finally got a chance to withdraw into her own thoughts and sort out the full ramifications of her conversation with Alder.

Her emotions were a mixed mess. Despite her excitement, despite the fact that she might finally get the chance to find Ho-Oh and save both of them - Ho-Oh from its imprisonment, and herself from her nightmares - she couldn’t help but be worried. A million million things could go wrong. What if Marlon refused to help her? What if he did, but he was killed in the attempt? What about his Pokemon? What about her own? The thought of losing sweet Dust or cunning Keelin or reliable Ramman or loving Althea almost brought tears to her eyes. And all of that was not to mention her own paralyzing fear of water, which had unfortunately started with the nightmares. Even on the smoothly-cruising ferry boat, she was having trouble keeping down her lunch.

Close your eyes, she told yourself. Keeping them closed helped; she was pretty sure that she’d read that somewhere. With a sigh, she settled back into the seat and let her eyes drift shut, tuning out the noise of all of the people chattering near her.

Pressure. Crushing pressure. The cold takes her by the throat and descends, squeezing, until it fills her from head to toe and it won’t let up. She tries to cry out from the pain of it, but she’s been screaming for so long now that no sound can escape her raw, hoarse throat. Her head hangs in despair as the darkness and cold seem to constrict even her breathing and stop up her thoughts...

Nadra opened her eyes, barely containing a pained gasp. Would she have to see these horrible visions every time she closed her eyes? Only when Althea calmly pointed out the nearest clock did Nadra relax. The Audino gave her a reassuring smile, but Nadra found it hard to look at her friend. In order to allow Althea to walk outside her Pokeball, the poor Audino had to wear one of ENDoG’s horrid collars. Althea never seemed to mind; she was nothing but grateful for the luxury of walking with Nadra, which many other Freelancer Pokemon could not. Looking at the collar, however, reminded Nadra uncomfortably of her dreams. If the standard-issue neutralizers felt at all like what was draining Ho-Oh, then Nadra couldn’t imagine how being able to walk around outweighed the feeling of constant lethargy while wearing a noose around your neck.

Stepping off of the ferry and into Castelia was something of a shock. Adjusted as she was to moving around in wild nature, the crowded, bright, bustling city was definitely something new. She walked quickly through the bustling streets, staying near the slightly less-crowded piers so as to keep some sort of freedom of movement. Soon, she reached the checkpoint that led from Castelia to the northern route; then, hopefully, Ramman would be rested enough to fly her to Humilau.

However, as soon as she entered the checkpoint building, Nadra knew that she’d made a serious mistake. Apparently ENDoG had decided that the old system of a friendly receptionist and a cheery news board just wouldn’t do in the great city of Castelia, and so these had been replaced by a set of uniformed guards. A Luxray lounged on the counter, passing a glare over the passersby. Nadra fought to keep the fear off of her face, but her heart was beating so hard that she thought for sure the guards would hear it. She walked forward, following the queue of people lined up in front of her, each step a rebellion against her instincts. Act calm, Keelin’s coaching echoed in her head. If you don’t give people a reason to suspect you, they probably won’t.

The words still lingered as one of the guards stopped her. “Good afternoon, ma’am.” His tone was not unfriendly; that was a good sign. “I see you have a Pokemon with you. Mind if I check on your papers?”

Nadra felt like she was going to panic, but she managed to reply. “Sure. They’re in my bag...”

As she pulled it off of her shoulders, the Luxray growled, turning its piercing stare right on Nadra. One of the officers yanked the bag from her hand and unceremoniously dumped its contents onto the counter: some pencils, an envelope, a wallet, a notepad, a change of clothes, a small purse of toiletries, and three Pokeballs.

The officer looked at Nadra with an undisguised smirk, and the girl’s heart dropped all the way into her shoes. “I don’t suppose you have papers for these?”

Thomas White.
ENDoG Agent (Grunt).
Pacifidlog Town, Hoenn.
ARPers: None.

“Can you get it to work again?” Thomas asked anxiously.

His Manectric, Lilith, a quiet beast with a keen eye and an intelligent mind, fixed him with a glance that if he didn’t know better would have had him thinking that the Pokemon was exasperated by the question. She turned away without giving any sort of answer, laying her paws on the machine, which she and Yoshi had been fiddling with for the last several minutes. Yoshi snapped the battery compartment shut, and Lilith sent a pulse of electricity through the camera. Immediately it sparked to life, and Thomas breathed a sigh of relief. That camera was their one hope at catching the filthy Freelancer who, according to the survivors, had swept in out of nowhere to ‘save’ the monster Rayquaza.

Moira Slate seemed just as relieved when Thomas turned the camera over to her. “Thanks,” she said. Her gruff voice was unusually somber and subdued. “The sooner we catch that ugly son-of-a-*****, the better. That footage is going to be a massive help.”

“You’re welcome,” Thomas replied. His stomach still felt like there were several knots tied into it. For a second, he was silent, then he spoke abruptly what had been on his mind since leaving Sky Pillar. “Um, Lieutenant Slate, ma’am, I was thinking... I heard that there’s an opening in Johto and I was wanting to take it.”

There was a long pause as Moira looked him over. He stood, feeling uncomfortable but keeping his head held high. “This seems unusually rash of you.”

“I’m not trying to be rash,” said Thomas. He took a deep breath. “I’ve been thinking about this for a while. I mean, I joined ENDoG so that I could protect people - families - from being hurt the way I was by the Freelancers. The only thing around here other than some boats and rocks was Sky Pillar - it’s not exactly a hotspot for Freelancers. Today was what I needed to show me that moving out into the battlefield - erm, so to speak - and actually help people out a bit. Please, just let me do something.”

She hesitated again, then, just as Thomas was sure that she would deny his request, she nodded - a sharp, jerking motion. “Pack your bags,” she told him. “Leave as soon as possible. You’re lucky I like you,” she added, looking him straight in the eye. “You’re a damn good officer, and I hate to let you go. Now, get on out there, but I’d appreciate you not being too loud about your departure. I don’t want to see the entire population of Pacifidlog panic and follow you out.”

Thomas nodded solemnly. “Thanks, ma’am,” he said, and turned and walked away.

Jamie
Marked Freelancer: Rayquaza
Celestial tower

It had been a few hours since Jamie had left Mistralton city. He kept off the roads, trying to stay out of site, in the wilderness on the side. However sometimes the wilderness was too think, and he had no choice but to go on the roads. When he was on the roads he got off as soon as possible. It would be easy for ENDoG to take advantage of him being forced onto the roads.

The grey clouds in the sky began to release rain, as the road became wet and slippery. After an hour of rain, Jet saw what he had dreaded. A truck with an ENDoG logo on it, and two armed men on either side of the road.

Jamie got Sneasal and Scyther's Pokeballs and let the two Pokemon out. He chose them for their speed. Something that Swampert and Aggron lacked.

"Okay guys, I need you to listen carefully." Jamie said quietly, as he made sure he hadn't been seen yet. "There are two ENDoG Agents over by that truck. I won't be able to sneak around them. We have to fight. Scyther, I need you to fly over into the one on the left as fast as you can, and use slash. Sneasal, I need you to use Icebeam on the other."

Scyther nodded, with a determined expression, as did Sneasal, who had a mischievous one.

"Okay go!" Jamie said, as he ran towards the two men. Scyther flew into the first man, slashing him across the torso with his blades. But Sneasal used fury swipes instead.

Sneasal jumped at the man, slashing at him, but was kicked off. He landed a metre away. The ENDoG agent aimed his gun at Sneasal and looked at me.

"Either you surrender, or I shoot it." The man said. Jamie sighed and put up his hands. The rain began to intensify, and Jamie heard lightning.

"Unlucky for your Sneasal here," the man said, "I was going to shoot it anyway."

The man pulled back the top of the gun, as Jamie felt something rush past him. Scyther. Scyther stood in front of Sneasal, as the ENDoG agent pulled the trigger.

"No!" Jamie screamed, as tears formed in his eyes. In that second, the storm intensified further, as a lightning bolt hit the ground a matter of metres away from the man. Wen he was distracted, Jamie ran at him, and tackled him, taking his gun and shooting him in the leg. He turned to face the other man, who was bleeding heavily from Scyther's slash wounds. He knew the man probably wouldn't be getting up again, and ran over to Scyther, who was bleeding. The wound was in his chest, and Scyther was breathing heavily.

"I will get you to a hospital." Jamie said, but realised it was too late. With one last breath, Scyther closed his eyes for the last time.

The storm was getting worse by the second, as Jamie roared in anger. However it wasn't his voice he heard. It was the voice of a Pokemon. The voice of Rayquaza.

Sneasal looked at Jamie, obviously feeling guilty, and walked over to him. When Jamie saw the Sneasal, he stood up and looked down on the Pokemon.

"I gave you a simple instruction! But you didn't listen!" Jamie yelled at the Pokemon. "Scyther was always by my side, and never disobeyed me! And now, because you didn't follow one damn order, he is dead!"

Jamie screamed again, as there was another crash of thunder. Sneasal tried to run off, but before he could, Jamie pulled out the Pokeball, and put Sneasal back in.

In the distance, he could see celestial tower. He had heard of it, and how it was the final resting place of Pokemon. He picked up Scyther's body, and walked towards the tower, weeping for his fallen comrade, and friend.

Myra and Arianne
ENDoG New Recruits
Virbank City

It was late as the two teenage girls wandered the streets of the city. Myra had her Altaria flying by her side, and Arianne had Riolu on the ground. It was their first time on patrol together, and was something Myra had been looking forward to for a while.

However as much as they were looking forward to it, the two of them were silent most of the time. The only noise was Myra's radio which was held up to her ear.

"Myra, I have to ask, what is so interesting about the radio?" Arianne asked, as she looked cautiously around a corner with her flashlight, then continued down the road. "You have had it at your ear for the last 10 minutes."

Myra realised that Arianne had wanted to talk to her during their patrol together.

"Sorry. This just surprised me," Myra said, as she attached the radio to the belt, "An ENDoG outpost was attacked by a freelancer. He wounded two agents and got away."

"What is surprising about that?" Arianne said, "Those outposts are always attacked. We are lucky that we are stationed here in Virbank. Cities are always safer for us."

"That wasn't what surprised me." Myra said, "According to the report, the freelancer surrendered, as did his Pokemon. But the agent killed his Scyther."

Arianne thought about what she heard for a second before speaking. Things had been awkward between her and Myra since Arianne saw Gallade. Myra said Gallade was one of her best friends, and she knew she should tread lightly.

"You have to remember Myra, the freelancer had his Pokemon wound the agents." Arianne said, "Our purpose is to protect people. The freelancer was a traitor to his own cause."

Myra remained silent, as they walked.

"Don't get me wrong. It was sad the Pokemon was killed," Arianne continued, "But it had to be done. If the Pokemon was willing to attack a human, it must have been brainwashed to see that as alright. It was too far away from being safe."

"I suppose you're right," Myra said, "Lucky for Gallade, I won't force him to do something like that."

"Myra, I have been meaning to talk to you about that." Arianne said, as she stopped walking. Myra noticed and stopped as well.

"I know you say Gallade is one of your best friends," Arianne began, "But ENDoG asked you to leave Gallade in possession of someone else. You are risking your career with ENDoG, and could get in trouble with the law if he is found. Are you sure you want to risk it?"

Myra was quiet for a second and thought about what to say to her friend.
"Gallade is worth the risk. Before I found him, I had nobody." Myra said, "Don't worry, you are still one of my best friends. And I don't think anyone will find out. Only you know that I have him here, and you aren't going to tell ENDoG, are you?"

"I won't say anything," Arianne said, "But I still think this is a bad idea."

"I am visiting him for lunch tomorrow." Myra said, "please come with me to see him. He is almost human. You will learn to see him how I do."

Arianne thought about it for a minute. If she were caught, she could lose her job at ENDoG.

"Okay, I will come with you." Arianne said, "But I still think it is risky."

"It will be okay," Myra replied, "Now lets keep moving. The sooner we finish this patrol the better. I am so tired."

The two girls continued their patrol. Nothing overly interesting happened, and at 2am, they made their way back to the Virbank ENDoG building, and went to sleep.
