Super Smash Bros. For Wii U

As you all know, Nintendo is blessing us all with a brand new Smash Bros. game set to release this holiday season! We've already been privileged to see who's returning so far and what newcomers are gracing the franchise. Personally, I'm incredibly excited for the Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, and Lucina.

Who are you all interested in using in the new game?

I'll be using Greninja, Lucario and Sonic. I think, Sheikh is a character? If so, Sheikh. Also, I'm thinking on using Mega Man as a try-out, and I know I'll use Link. Plus some others too, probably.

That being said, my interests as far as characters go are Greninja, Little Mac, Ike, Meta Knight, though especially Little Mac. I will (attempt to) wreck face with those crazy fists of his. I've always liked Ike in Brawl as a secondary, Greninja is just interesting to me being my fave starter, Pikachu I've adopted some interest in recently, and Meta Knight because I want to know if he's been properly nerfed to the coveted 'awesome yet practical but NOT cheaty' good, nerfed beyond redemption, or not nerfed at all. I also have an interest in the Mii Fighters and am hoping that I can use generic Miis in 'For anyone,' though I'm not THAT interested.

I'm also VERY eagerly awaiting Mr. Game and Watch's confirmation (all but confirmed with Pac-Man's reveal trailer). He was my real main in Brawl and I wrecked many faces with him.

From a gameplay perspective:
Rosalina: Her ability to use luma for her abilities and setups make her an interesting character.
Jigglypuff?: My main from back then.
Metaknight: Bonkers in Brawl.
Fox: Old habits die hard.
Marth: Because it's Marth.
Zero Suit Samus: Did you see that forward B? Holy crap she's strong.

For purely aesthetic reasons:
Lucina: Because she's Kozaki's (the guy who created FE:A's characters) favourite.
Robin: Girl Robin.
Palutena: Goddesses rock~
Zelda: Because being a princess rocks.
Zero Suit Samus: Did you see that new outfit she got? Ya I know she's in both sides.
Wii Fit Trainer: It's aesthetically pleasing to troll people with her.
Megaman: Old skool and I like him more than Sonic and Mario for the most part.

Interesting choices. Out of those that you named, I'm excited to see how Pikachu has been improved since he was one of my mains from Brawl.

I'm beyond excited to use Little Mac as well. His ground game seems so vicious. But I'm with you - I NEED to see the confirmation for Game & Watch. He was my best character in Brawl. I literally destroyed people with him. It should of been illegal for me to beat people as bad as I did with him, haha.

All great character choices! I enjoy Mega Man more than Sonic (Sonic's best game was Adventure 2 by the way, and it's not close). Other than that, Wii Fit Trainer and Lucina are two of the characters that I'm so amped to test out!

Yea Robin. Sounds overpowered, but losing the spells after a while probably makes for good alpha strikes then becomes crap afterward or something.

"Time to tip the scales!" sounds fun. That's significant from the game right? It just seems cool as an entry sound, though I've always preferred the good old fashioned "Bring It!"

I also forgot to mention Mega Man and Charizard.

I'm gonna try out a lot of the characters. The only ones I have zero interest in are the joke-looking characters. No matter how strong he is I never touched Game and Watch except to see his Final Smash. That's going to be true for Wii Fit Trainer. Sorry guys but looks are important to me.

I'm also hoping they'll release characters as DLC. This game is obviously not going away and the fact that Nintendo finally got with the program and supports it means they could bring back characters people ask for. I've always liked the randomness of Trainer for example. Oh you're gonna hit me? Switch! Though I really hate not being able to switch in the air.

I'm disappointed that there's no Chrom, but Robin is cute and we have Lucina so I'll live.

"Time to Tip the Scales" is one of their critical/skill activation quotes. This usually precedes massive damage, as Robin was a game breaker of a unit who was only surpassed by his/her daughter/son, Morgan (as well as any other children they sire). (S)He's probably more balanced than he/she was in his/her own game, just because it would take him being WORSE THAN BRAWL META KNIGHT to get him/HER on that level.

He's also a tactician. Go figure.

...Does anyone else here feel like they'll main Duck Hunt dog? I like the premise of a character specifically designed to troll, his abilities as a ranged character are excellent and his melee-range game doesn't horribly suck, and he seems to be the spiritual successor of Snake (considering that his abilities mostly involve explosives, one explosive is a mix between the grenade and the player-guided missile, and his recovery move is quite like Snake's).

It is to the point where I see the Duck and the Dog in the Stealth Suit and the Infinity Bandana, doing some CQB against baddies.

I have the 3DS version, and I main with Jigglypuff. I originally intended to main with Lucario, but once I started seeing Jigglypuff, it was love at first sight. :3 She's has such goofy moves, Puff Up is the best thing ever. I'm also surprisingly good with her!

Haha, that would be very stylist to beat up someone with a pink blob! Maybe when I feel confident with my game and have proper wi fi (soon) we can play a round or two together. :)

I used to main with Pikachu when I played 64 Smash all the time haha. I still find Pikachu a lot of fun to use but I am crazy over Sheik. We definitely should all play together at some point! I am not amazing at it but I do enjoy it.

I main Jigglypuff. Have mained her since melee. I'll probably kick Corey's butt because of that small fact, though the mirror is really silly. lol The Sheik m/u is ridiculous. how can you have better priority on everything and be completely an impenetrable fortress like that? Jiggs just wants a hug, and a sleeping partner~

Other characters I'm interested in: Zero Suit Samus, Rosalina, Peach, Zelda, Little Mac, Duck Hunt Dog, Bowser Jr, Lucina, Robin, Palutena.

Sonic, Meta Knight, Charizard, and Greninja. Sonic and Charizard have all customs unlocked, MK and Greninja both are missing ONE move. ONE. $#%()$#% THEY WILL NOT GIVE IT TO ME AND I AM SAD.

My philosophy: hit hard, fast, and just be dodgy. I slowed Sonic down, sped Charizard up (so much so that Sonic can hold more items than Charizard can in Smash Run LOL), and Meta Knight is kind of a mix. He's fun to play as and I just love his wings. Also, slashy slashy.

I just hate how Sonic's FS feels so much weaker now D: Granted, it was OP in Brawl to begin with XD


I will get the WiiU version once I get a WiiU... Ehehehehehe.
