We are not playing beach volleyball at this beach!
It is Pokemon Podcast Month and we got some exclusive content from your favorite Pokemon podcasters! From GO, TCG, talk, to tabletop and beyond! We have sent out the classic Podcasters Questionnaire to see what your favorite Pokemon podcasters have to say about podcasting!
And today we have….Eric from The Beach Court Podcast to talk about podcasting and everything in between!
So what does the Beach Court Podcast have to say about…
What type of podcast do you have? Why do you make the type of podcast that you make?

https://www.pokemoncrossroads.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Beach-Court-podcast.png?x41655Eric: We have a Pokémon TCG podcast and we make this podcast because we really enjoy competitive Pokémon conversations and connecting with the community.

What drew you to the Pokemon franchise?

https://www.pokemoncrossroads.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Beach-Court-podcast.png?x41655Eric: I’ve always been a fan of Pokémon since Charmander was left by his trainer in the early Johto episodes. It’s always been near and dear to my heart.

What inspired you to podcast?

https://www.pokemoncrossroads.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Beach-Court-podcast.png?x41655Eric: That is a tough question to answer, maybe it’s the desire to do actual paying work in the Pokémon field as an adult. But mostly, it was to grow the community in North Florida and specifically Jacksonville.

What keeps you going when it comes to podcasting and Pokemon?

https://www.pokemoncrossroads.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Beach-Court-podcast.png?x41655Eric: There is always something to talk about! When someone leaves a positive comment or mentions to us that they live the podcast at tournaments. Just the overall support of the community.

What kind of feeling do you wish your listeners to have when listening to your podcast?

https://www.pokemoncrossroads.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Beach-Court-podcast.png?x41655Eric: I want my listeners to be entertained while also learning.

What is the hardest part when it comes to podcasting?

https://www.pokemoncrossroads.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Beach-Court-podcast.png?x41655Eric: Scheduling with guests and coming up with a set agenda.

What has been the best Podcast moment you have had?

https://www.pokemoncrossroads.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Beach-Court-podcast.png?x41655Eric: Definitely having my friend make Top 8 who is a co-host of mine. Being able to share his story of the Top 8 performance and celebrating with him while creating content was awesome.

If you can suggest an episode of your podcast to a new listener, which episode would it be? Why?

https://www.pokemoncrossroads.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Beach-Court-podcast.png?x41655Eric: I would suggest listening to the story of LDF (https://youtu.be/RR8G5eoI2zY?si=DwQ906-Em6nlK0Dg). He’s a well known content creator in the community and we took a deep look into how he became a content creator and also talked competitive Pokémon TCG with him.

That episode with LDF was the first episode I listen to of the Beach Court podcast. A really great listen!
Thank you for Eric from The Beach Court Podcast for answering our questions. We hope that you give The Beach Court Podcast a listen if you haven’t already. If you are a listener then let us know!
Signing off! Until next time!
