And they certainly shine!
The Pokemon World Championships is known for the best of the best battling it out to become the Pokemon World Champion in TCG, VGC, GO and UNITE. Though, there are always passionate Pokemon fans who want to show off their love for the Pokemon fandom.
And one of those ways is in cosplay!
This year, I had the opportunity to attend the Pokemon World Championships in Honolulu, Hawaii. I saw the action live and all the passionate Pokemon trainers battling. Though, I caught plenty of amazing cosplay that I wanted to share with everybody. So below are all the Pokemon cosplayers that I was able to capture on film!
The first one is the one you see above of this amazing Terapagos cosplayer! Her outfit shines bright as if she really Terastallizing! It really looks amazing!

All of them were great. Though, some of my standout favorites include the Pikachu, Raichu and Pichu family. A whole family cosplaying as a group of Pokemon is great in my book. After all, the family that cosplay together stays together.
Though, the Jolteon and Shiny Sylveon are great as well! You can really tell that the cosplayer put a lot of work into their costume to really bring these Pokemon to life.
Could we also shine some light on the cute Slowpoke couple? I am so happy they were able to make it to this year’s World Championships. Part of me was worried they were going to be late due to being so…slow.

Because there was a tone of them! From Galar to Alola to even Paldea! Pokemon trainers were coming all around the world to the Pokemon World Championships!
Good thing there was Pokemon Center Lady with a Comfey there at the Pokemon World Championships. She was busy healing all the Pokemon who were injured battling.
But is that what I think I see! A rare sighting! A Shiny Terrell!* You know! The Colosseum Leader from Pokemon Battle Revolution that is dressed like a Groudon! Except instead of red, Terrell’s costume is that of Shiny Groudon! Did you know it takes over 8,000 resets to see the Shiny variation of this costume! That is amazing!
I really do love when cosplayers decide to cosplay as Pokemon trainers. It is so amazing who are their favorite characters by who they dress as. We got Lacey from the Blueberry Academy to our favorite friends in Paldea such as Penny and Arven.
There is even an Officer Jenny with a Growlithe to ensure that nobody with bad intentions make it into Worlds.

Such as this amazing Professor Kukui and Professor Burnett couple cosplay! They were so cute together! This power couple were ready to be amazing professors and make sure that this World Championship was the thing of legends. On point cosplay and power couple right here!
Still, not all couples have to have romance involve. Sometimes a good couple are just friends such as Liko and Roy. Or…Maybe even yourself from the past. Maybe. As you can see with Dawn and Akari. Two great pair of cosplayers that I wanted to show off here.

If you were not careful at the Pokemon World Championships then you may have came face to face with Trainer Miku. A pair of them!
This pair of Miku were ready to battle with their Pokeballs in their hands. You really have to love these cosplays based on the line of Miku covers that came out for each type. Because you can see that these Miku were ready to battle!
