Sparks will fly this weekend!
A brand new Pokemon TCG set is coming to the United States and beyond on November 8th! Plenty of brand new Pokemon are coming to the Pokemon TCG. This time Pikachu ex is taking front and center with the shocking Stellar Tera Type!
Though, watch out more Pokemon will be coming into the Pokemon TCG time boosting the Stellar Tera Type such as Alolan Exeggutor ex and Ceruledge ex!

11 special illustration rare Pokémon and Supporter cards
Six hyper rare gold etched cards
Prerelease PromosIf you want to get your hands early on some cards from Surging Sparks then this weekend is the time! Prereleases for Surging Sparks will happen this weekend. You will get a Build & Battle kit that will contain a full 40 card premade deck and one special promo card!* Along with some Surging Sparks booster packs. This special promo card will certainly be useful as you power up your deck for a new meta featuring Stellar Crown!
Below are the Pokemon cards that will be featured as Prerelease Promos.
Magneton
You can expect Magneton to become Pikachu ex’s partner in crime. If you use Overvolt Discharge then it can put three Basic Energy cards from your Discard on to your Electric type Pokemon however you want. This does come at the cost of knocking out your Magneton.
So the big play here is to put all that energy on to Pikachu ex. That way you can do an impressive 300 damage with Topaz Bolt. You will need to discard the energy from Pikachu ex though if you plan it well then all you need is another Magneton ex to put more energy on Pikachu ex.
Chien-Pao
Need to do a big pow to your opponent? Then check out Chien-Pao! This Pokemon can do 120 damage for three energy. It may cost a lot of energy but it can put the hurt on your opponent’s Pokemon.
Though, honestly…You may just find more use in Chien-Pao’s Snow Sink ability. This ability will allow you to discard any Stadium card that is in play. Could find some use if you want to get rid of a Stadium if you do not want to play Lost Vacuum.
Gouging Fire
Need a late game attacker? Try the Blazing Charge attack on Gouging Fire. This attack does 100 damage plus 70 more if your opponent has four or fewer prizes left. This attack can be easy to power up if you use a few cards to accelerate energy.
Indeedee
Indeed…Well, you can use the Obliging Heal ability to heal some damage from your active Pokemon. That can be useful.
Final ThoughtsSurging Sparks will do a lot to bring some shocks and sparks to the Pokemon TCG. If you want to get your hands on these cards early and play with them then hit up a prerelease for Surging Sparks. Prereleases will run from October 27th to November 3rd. You will see Surging Sparks in all stores starting on November 8th.
If you want to play competitive with cards from Surging Sparks then that they will be tournament legal on September 22nd.
