The Hiatus Challenge!

Chapter Three will be ending on November 14th, 2014. After the last page is posted, Pokemon: Rising Shadows will go on a six week long hiatus before resuming updates on the first Friday of January/2015. This has been the plan since I finished the buffer for Chapter Three in August.

Doesn't that sound great? Six whole weeks with no new pages? No? You guys don't want to wait that long for Chapter Four to start? Well, of course you don't. Six weeks of nothing is no fun for anyone. So I'm going to propose a little challenge for everyone here.

From now until November 14th, for every one hundred posts made in the Rising Shadow's sub-board, I will remove an entire week off of the hiatus. All you have to do is be active and have fun in the new sub-board! No spam is allowed, of course- so don't even try that!

If for whatever reason 600 posts seems to be too easy of a goal, I'll increase the minimum per week a little to adjust- but for the time being, I think one hundred will work.

I, mean, if we really try we MIGHT be able to. It WILL take a considerable amount of effort and activity (not spam), but it COULD be possible to take off a week or so...

But yeah... at this rate, MAYBE a week will be cut off. Maybe. There's still just over two weeks remaining, so we'll see. The last two weeks were very... very... slow.

Pfft, only cause I'm making an active effort to drag people here and all. xD I really want these forums to be active- it's a lot more fun to read through than the page comments since it can be on ANY topic relating to the comic- not just what's relevant to the week's update!

And yes. Smackjeeves needs to glitch over here. Now. I don't mind cutting the hiatus, but everyone has to earn it first. =P Otherwise I get a nice long break. =D

Ahaha that's true. I think it's SO COOL that we have a comic section in the forum. It's a shame that more people aren't here. :< And I know I've said that 2194813058392 times but IT'S TRUE. LIKE WHO DOESN'T ENJOY READING COMICS?! I bet a tonne of people read them...they just don't post on the forum. xD Ah yeah, that's true! O: I also like that you put up a page on Smackjeeves about PXR and how Rising Shadows has its own forum on it now. c: I've seen a few people post over here from Smackjeeves! I dunno if they stayed, but whatever. xD

xD Yes, definitely! That's true. xD Also, have you ever had people who've told you they couldn't access Smackjeeves? I referred Arrow-Jolteon (a friend on here who I met on DA years ago...and also brought to PXR xD) to the comic section of the forum and she said she couldn't get Smackjeeves to load. =/ Which is a shame. I mean, your comic's on DA too so she could go there, but yeah, it's weird. It could be a browser issue or something, and I know SJ has had some database errors recently.

And people are having trouble viewing the comic on SJ? That's strange... it IS hosted on DA as well, so there's that. Perhaps I should get all the pages posted here on PXR as well. I never posted many in my art thread because I didn't want to spam that thread with pure comics- that's what DA and SJ are for. -shot-

And yeah- SJ has been a bit buggy recently. Not sure what's going on- but I THINK it's over.

The downtime should be over for SJ. They were changing/updating their servers and their webhost screwed some things up while transferring the files, hence the kinks. It should definitely all be fixed now. c:
