I don't believe this has been posted before but I apologise if it has. I quickly checked through all the names of the threads and couldn't find one so I thought I'd start one.

Have you ever met any celebrities? Are there any experiences you really enjoyed and wish to share about meeting a celebrity? If you've met more than one celebrity: who was the first one you met? Who was your favourite person to meet? Have you ever had any bad experiences with meeting celebrities?

Obviously you don't have to stick to just those questions and you don't have to answer them all but I thought I'd give some questions for inspiration I guess.

To answer the questions myself: I personally have met a lot of celebrities, and although this is not extremely accurate and I do have multiple photos with the same celebrity/some with multiple/etc, in my 'celebrities I've met' folder on my phone I have 57 photos. I don't know how this happened, honestly, I'm just extremely lucky to have met so many people. Although, a large portion of the celebrities I've met are YouTubers, so some people may say that they don't count, but personally I count them.

I have tons of wonderful experiences in terms of meeting celebrities, but most of them are pretty long and there are a lot of them so I'm pretty reluctant to type them out right now, but I'll probably do so in the future.

The first celebrities I ever met were Dougie Poynter and Tom Fletcher from McFly. I was so nervous to meet them and embarrassed myself quite a bit, but I'm still happy to have met them. Funnily enough, it was exactly two years ago today that I met them. I didn't even realise this before I started typing out this post. Weird.

As for my favourite, I'd probably have to go with meeting The Creatures, who are a gaming group on YouTube. I did meet them all a few times, and I spoke to them all separately on a few occasions so that story's a very long one so I might save that for now.

I hope this isn't seen as trying to brag or anything, I'm genuinely interested in other people's experience with meeting celebrities and sharing my own experiences.

xD You're cute. Nobody would think you're trying to brag, haha. And even if there was a thread like this, doesn't matter if you make a new one. xD

As for myself, I don't believe I've met any celebrities. xD Not that I can recall, anyway.

I met some guy who was on a tv show, if that counts. If I met any real celebrities I might just have stand and stare at them, completely unable to think of anything to say. Or I would just have a heart attack. Whichever came first. Either way it would be really awkward.

I've not met any celebrities, but I have seen Phill Jupitus and the crime writer Val McDermid. I've seen a lot of authors because there's a Book Festival where I live, but I dunno how famous they are, so here are the ones I can remember seeing: Marcus Sedgwick, Matt Haig, Anne Cassidy, Emma Haughton, Leigh Bardugo and Maureen Johnson.

My mum has met Hugh Laurie and Ben Elton, Hugh Laurie being the guy who plays House in House M.D. She insulted them then saw who they were and apologised and went for a drink with them, and got their autographs.

I've met Nina Dobrev at LAX airport. I knew her from her part in Degrassi, and we met right before the first season of Vampire Diaries aired.

One of my best friends is Adam Baldwin's son, so I see him quite often and have dinner at his house and stuff. :'u

My mum has met Hugh Laurie

AHH I LOVE HUGH LAURIE. Your mum is so lucky!

Ahem. I haven't met any celebrities. I have seen George R. R. Martin who writes Game of Thrones and Michelle Fairley who plays Catelyn Stark in the show, if that counts. xD

Some would say that I, myself, am a celebrity. I don't like to brag, however.

My mom went to high school with Mike Rowe (the guy from Dirty Jobs).

I've met and worked with Vic Mignogna (omg never again pls), all the members of Steam Powered Giraffe, and the voice actors behind Pinky and the Brain. ;)

Yes, you read that right, worked with.

Well. Kinda. I was a volunteer for a lights/sound/entertainment company with a dear friend for Realms Con in Corpus Christi, Texas this year. I had a lot of fun, and as you can see, met some cool people. :3

Vic wasn't fun though. Omg. He's extremely pushy, prissy, and addresses everyone as if they're in elementary. >_>

I've met a lot of celebrities but only if you count authors as celebrities. However, the first celeb I ever met was Taylor Swift. I'm still waiting for the song about me to come out. Pretty much I was down in Columbia, South Carolina about four years ago for a Youth In Government conference. I'm in the fitness room running on the treadmill and I don't know why, but I just looked to the right and just about fell off my treadmill. Two treadmills down from me was Taylor Swift with two bodyguards. She smiled and waved at me but I was informed by her bodyguards that when I was done with my workout I had to leave. I wasn't allowed to take a picture with her or get her autograph but that was pretty funny.

I have also met, for those of you homestuck fans on here, the voice behind Broadway Karkat. I was at church this past Sunday and I didn't realize it was them until they introduced themselves. We now text regularly and I could say we're pretty good friends!

Ok, so, the majority of celebrities I've met are authors. I have met Allie Condie (author of the matched series), Morgan Rhodes (author of the falling kingdoms series), Melissa De La Cruz (author of the Blue Bloods series), Stephanie Perkins (author of Isla and the Happily Ever After), Linden Flynn (author of the white stag), Ryan Graudin (author of The Walled City), Brendan and Kathy Reichs (authors of the Virals Series), and Michael Johnston (author of the Frozen series).

I have also met all of the coaches of the Clemson football team as well as the coaches for the Clemson girls and guys basketball teams. I also got to take a selfie with the announcer for the Greenville Drive Stadium Baseball team and Clemson guys' basketball team, Jdew.

I met Troy Baker once through a library event. It was pretty cool, & he autographed a notebook I had with me. xD
