I remember one of these on pe2k. Unfortunately when that was still active, I didn't have a car. However now I do :D

Rules (cause we gotta have them):

2001 Nissan Maxima
I got this just over a year ago, and have never loved a car so much. Everything I want. Plenty of room. Smooth drive. Plenty of guts. And I mean plenty of guts. My only complaint is that it is automatic (though when I am stuck in traffic I will be thankful) and that it is frontwheel drive. Since I got it I have:
Replaced the Headunit
Replaced the speakers
Put in some seat covers
Put in some cool red LEDs

I plan on:
Getting my license (Damn Victoria rules)
Plastidipping the wheels white
Replacing the current seatcovers and LEDs with white ones
Eventually buying some nice white wheels for it

Wow those LED lights are really cool. They're not distracting when you're driving? Nice car! Also I love that wallet in the middle of the car there haha.

I don't have a photo of my own car but this is what it looks like:

1998 VW Golf Cabriolet, had it since I got my license, so about 5 years now.

Mine is a bit sad right now because the roof will no longer open automatically and it's gonna cost me over $1800 to fix it, which I'm not going to do because I can just lower it manually. xD I love having a convertible though. I put the roof down at every opportunity. :D

Nah the lights are all good haha. They don't distract me though they are technically illegal to have on when the car is moving. I can turn them off if I get pulled over though. They cost about $50 to set up.

Geez I would love a convertible haha. Does it have a hard top as well as the soft top?

Ohh I see. Well they look really nice with your seat covers! How close are you to getting your license?

It's just a soft top. It's getting a bit worn but it's in surprisingly good condition for being just material and 16+ years old. Still watertight which is useful. :P It's so cool in summer. Especially when I get to the car and its like 60 degrees in there and I can just open it all up. I have been looking forward to warm weather all year because of it haha.

Hopefully a few weeks! I passed my hazards last Monday. Just need lessons. All depends on how booked vicroads is. Wish that getting my license was as easy as it was for you haha you didn't have hours did you?

That's good. Summer will be amazing haha my mate used to have a convertible. So good. Until it rained xD

Haha I am so paranoid of rain, I only put the roof down if it is not cloudy. xD Yeah, I didn't need hour thankfully. Although I was really nervous about getting my license and put it off for ages, so I probably had over 120 by the time I actually went for it anyway. :P Good luck with your lessons! Hopefully vicroads will be kinda quiet since it's almost holiday time. Even better if you can do it once schools are out, then you don't need to worry about school zones! Also I found booking it around 10-11am was nice and quiet around Bundoora. I got my license at the start of December.

This is what our other vehicle is. When I was little I use to think how big it is and I would call it Noah's Ark. I'm a tiny 5 foot girl you should see the reactions I get when they see this pull up to the gas station and see ME get out of it. xDDD

Neo Emolga that this is a beast! V6 or V8? I am drooling...

It's a V6. In New Jersey, it's almost ALWAYS stop and go traffic, so the opportunities to really take advantage of a V8 are few and far between. Hence, why I went with a V6 to save a few thousand. But besides that, it's an awesome car and I love it.

I use public transportation (buses/trains) because I care about the environment and it's cheaper. Also driving is daunting so I avoid it

I also don't like driving very much and would rather get public transport, but it kind of sucks in this area. It takes me 15-20 minutes to drive or up to 1.5 hours to get 2 buses and a train home. :( I did it for years but I finally gave in and just started driving. I don't think I could go back now. xD
