Yo bezzys, I've come to chill in Master Kim's crib.
I'll be honest and say I'm probably not going to be active in the slightest, so you can just continue to consider me a fallen.
Questions:
1) Is Kim the best administrator ever or qhat?
2) How many Wars have there been?
3) How many people here do I know?
That's a half-baked (like the Ben & Jerry flavor, not the movie) list of questions. I'm mostly seeking info on all the interesting shenanigans I've missed.
Thanks in advance for any information provided.

Welcome to the forum, new friend! 8D Master Kim. xD Perf.
Aw, well even if you won't be active, nice to have you here! Three posts is better than what probably the majority of members who join achieve!
1) Yes, fo' sho'. Everyone loves him. x)
2) Just one so far, and it wrapped up a few months ago. :]
3) I don't think you know me... I was Graceful_Suicune on Pe2k, if you ever visited there (which I'm assuming you may have).
Hope you find some entertaining things to do! :D Hope to see you 'round.

Yeah, I may have visited PE2K once or twice. Mostly for KIRK-related activities and such.
As you may or may not know, Master Kim used to be incredibly secretive about his personal information. His proclaimed age was 87. (Does he now claim to be... 98?) This piqued many member's curiosity and his twin brother N8 and this other guy who liked Bob Dole a bit too much named Fair formed a secret organization (KIRK) to track him down. Now I don't want to brag -- but we were rather successful.
It's OK -- in the end, Master Kim has (hopefully) learned that nobody gives stalking him a second thought unless he's selling himself as a huge mystery. I'm not sure if we ever told him about KIRK -- hmm. He's more or less cool with us in spite of our hi-jinks.
Also, just to clarify, nobody ever called him Master Kim. I made this up in this thread, and I'm going to stop... now.
ALSO (in capital letters now), someone should remind Kim about 10 years.
(For those who don't know, Kim agreed to attend a PE2K get-together and reveal all his secrets in 10 years. Guess what? Time's up. As he's now admin for PE2K's successor, I propose he organizes and hosts this event to make good on his word.)

This... all of this...is fantastic. You are fantastic. Oh my gosh. xD
HKim I hope you're reading this... >:3 Dratini, we're certainly happy to have you here. xD May you find your place amongst Pe2k's successor!
Oh D, you really got to stops stalking me. I think it's bad for the community.
On a more serious note, welcome to PXR! I know you won't stick around (even though you should), but yeah, this is the new hangout for all the people you know who still like Pokemon (because that's what cool people do).

Am I allowed to bump threads? If not, I proclaim Master Kim has declared an administrative exception, because 1) he's secretly quite amused by my stalking ways and 2) he feels morally compelled to repay me for not answering my three questions, so he graciously accepted a second chance to do right by me. Master Kim and I have a bond of good will through Team Trainer membership, after all.
Team Trainer was (perhaps still is?) a good team, unlike the hooligans over at The (almost certainly defunct) Magnificent Alliance. Do you remember when they created a cipher which they used on many of their forum posts? Did you ever have the chance to read what they were saying? I trust you don't allow members here to create their own ciphers then get away with talking smack about others on the forum because it's unreadable to most (and Global Moderator Syrus vouched for the content, but he was by far the most foul-mouthed of all), so I like Crossroads better than PE2K already. Even if I won't stick around. I know I'm not cool enough to be into Pokemon anymore.

Lol yes, the cipher. Secretly I still hate TMA for it. For all the love HKim managed to spread around Team Trainer, having a cipher felt like it was for all the cool, rebellious kids and at Team Trainer we were the snobs.

Welcome to the forum, good to see another former pe2k member around here :D.
I had no idea there was a cipher! Wow, that's pretty crazy. That, or I forgot. It was a long time ago...
Still, seemed like the sort of thing I'd remember. Then again, I wasn't a GMod on PE2K for at least another year or two after the first War, so I wasn't in the "know". All in all, I guess everyone was a lot younger back then!
It's sad that the old place is gone, but such is the way of things. Better for us all to be here, afresh and alive.

I felt quite cool for a hot minute when I cracked the cipher by hand and started writing to TMA members using it. The cipher's biggest downfall was that despite making use of many cryptic-looking characters, it was a simple substitution cipher and it used ` as the symbol for '. Upon realizing that, it became immediately apparent which words were contractions. From there, the cipher was pretty easy to crack.
As a member of historic Team Trainer, I'll give us group credit for cracking the code and therefore one-upping the cool, rebellious kids.

Personally, I wouldn't consider 87 to be a lot younger than... are you 99 now? You're always the optimist - proudly afresh and alive at such a ripe old age. I admire the wisdom, but let's be real: you were then and are still now an old man.
(PE2K History Lesson: When HKim first joined, he claimed to be 87-years-old.)
