The Ribald Tale of Tim!

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

BEHOLD! THE RIBALD TALE OF TIM!!!

This game is relatively simple; it is an endless game involving making one sentence (AND ONLY ONE PER POST) describing our extremely generic protagonist, Tim, and the situations Tim winds up finding himself in! Who is Tim? What is Tim? What will Tim do? What will oppose Tim? What is Tim's goal? That's up to you to decide!

Of course, in order to make sure the story is an appropriate tale for our obligatory protagonist, here are some ground rules:

0: Obey all PxR rules at all times. Seriously, there should be no excuses here.
1: You can only put in ONE sentence per post!
2: No run-on sentences, please. Long sentences are OK, but not run-on sentences.
3: I understand that grammar and spelling may not be up everyone's alley. However, you HAVE to make an effort to have your posts legible. I mean, if we don't understand what you're telling us, then what will we know of Tim's current status?
4: The story we create has unlimited potential and any poster has complete freedom to direct the story in any way he or she chooses, with an exception: everything must relate to Tim. We may describe things that are NOT Tim, but they have to relate back to Tim, as he is the protagonist. This is the Ribald Tale of TIM, after all, and losing focus on our protagonist is unfitting!
5: No inappropriate language whatsoever. This one is extremely important.
6: The Ribald Tale of Tim will stay within the boundaries of Pg-13 content at its worst. Excessive violence and gore is forbidden. Keep any love to kissing and/or hugging.
7: Have fun!

I'll start you off:

"It was an extremely typical day for Tim, a day that would quickly become extremely atypical due to narrative forces."

Suddenly, a thought popped in his brain!

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

The thought was, "I really need to buy one of those new Pokemon Games, Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire."

[PTGigi]

But Tim had a problem: he had no money!

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Suddenly, a fifty dollar bill, carried by the wind, flew right into his face.

[Sir Sivelos]

Tim took the 50 dollar bill and hurried to his car in excitement.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

He got in the car and attempted to start the engine.

[Sir Sivelos]

But, when he checked the gas meter, it was on empty!

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Then, all four of the car's tires sprung leaks as well, and he realized he wouldn't be taking his car to his destination.

[Sir Sivelos]

So, he decided to walk, what with the local games shop being not too far away.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Barely thirty seconds into his walk to the store, he was attacked by a rabid stray cat!

[Sir Sivelos]

Tim quickly put his money into his pocket to avoid it being damaged.

[Ganyu]

He rolled up his sleeves and began to advance cautiously to the cat, keeping a sharp eye on its every movement.

[Sir Sivelos]

He was almost away from the rabid cat, when, all of a sudden, it pounces!

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Tim jumped backwards, narrowly avoiding the cat and its sharp claws.

[Sir Sivelos]

The cat, distracted by a passing mouse, scurries off into a nearby bush.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Tim wiped some sweat off of his brow, seemingly safe for now.

[Sir Sivelos]

As he kept walking, he found that the bridge across the river, which was the way to the Games Store, was broken!

[Bulbasaur]

Desperate to get his new game, Tim raced west, to the next nearest bridge.

[Sir Sivelos]

He manages to cross the bridge.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

On the other side was a brick wall of seemingly limitless size, which he had no methods to bypass at the moment.

[Sir Sivelos]

So, Tim decided to cross the river by boat.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

He could also swim really good, but a boat would probably be somewhat more sane and less exhausting.

[Sir Sivelos]

So, he searched his side of town until he found all of the boat drivers around.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

The number of boat-driving individuals turned out to be one: Old Man Shermenybobluckyman the Sailor.

[Sir Sivelos]

Tim is horrified when he realizes Old Man Shermenybobluckyman the Sailor charges $25 per ticket!

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

He would run out of money to buy the game if he took the ticket, so it looked like swimming was the only real way across the river.

[Ganyu]

He takes off his shirt, leaves it on a dry patch on the bank, and dives into the water.

[Sir Sivelos]

Unfortunately, mid-dive, he thinks, "How the heck am I going to get my $50 over to the other side dry?"

[Ganyu]

Thankfully, his wallet was made of waterproof leather, and he glided halfway through the river.

[Sir Sivelos]

After a long and treacherous battle against the current, he washes up on the other side.

[Ganyu]

He found that his pants were heavy, not just due to being wet.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

This was because a very displaced wild octopus had decided to latch itself to his legs.

[Ganyu]

The wild octopus began secreting a pungent liquid.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Tim quickly kicked it off before it could do anything worse, sending the octopus flying back into the river.

[Sir Sivelos]

The pungent liquid was simply octopus ink, placing an ugly stain on Tim's leg.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

"I can just wash that off later," Tim thought while pulling his backup shirt out of his pocket (Tim had really deep pockets).

[Sir Sivelos]

After putting on his back-up shirt, Tim find that a large boulder is blocking the Main Street!

Tim was confused by this (and the previous brick wall), but as the Game store wasn't on Main street this wasn't particularly bothersome.

[Sir Sivelos]

Tim thus went on the quickest and easiest route to the Games Store.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

This route happened to take him through several alleyways, the first of which sporting nothing out of the ordinary bar a Pickaxe.

[Sir Sivelos]

Tim went to inspect the pickaxe.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

The pickaxe was laying next to a garbage can, too big to fit in it, yet the pickaxe itself was brand new.

[Sir Sivelos]

Wondering why somebody would throw out a brand new pickaxe, Tim puts it in his pocket (again, Tim has REALLY deep pockets).

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Tim continued on the path of many alleyways, encountering nothing further of note until he finds a random thug, back turned to Tim and unawares of our extremely generic protagonist.

[Sir Sivelos]

Tim tries to sneak around the Unsuspecting Thug, but he accidentally steps on a unfortunately placed twig!

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

The now-suspecting thug turns around and levies a table leg against Tim, intending to mug him!

[Sir Sivelos]

In a hurry, Tim instinctively pulls out the Pickaxe he found earlier!

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

The thug quickly realizes that he's quite outclassed in the makeshift arms department, drops the table leg and cash, and runs away, leaving Tim unscathed.

[Sir Sivelos]

Tim claims 40$ and a Table Leg from the Thug!

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Tim puts that all into his pocket and carries on to the game store as planned.

[Sir Sivelos]

But, to his dismay, when he reaches the Games Store, there is a MASSIVE line!

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Tim sighs and nonchalantly shuffles into the line, and waits patiently to get his choice of game-which one was he going to get, anyways?

[Sir Sivelos]

Did he like Team Aqua, or Team Magma?

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

This question, and many more, plagued Tim until he realized both games were conveniently on-sale and his now-90$ could buy both.

[Sir Sivelos]

Tim waited in line for about four hours.

[Ganyu]

He finally bought his games and left for home.

[Sir Sivelos]

Unfortunately, that means he had to swim the rivers again.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Except, when he came to the spot where he swam from, the infinitely-sized brick wall that blocked him before was now gone, allowing him to cross the bridge unimpeded.

[Ganyu]

He remembered to pick up his shirt and found himself surrounded by walking trees.

[Sir Sivelos]

"Maybe that squid ink wasn't harmless," Tim thought, staring in bewilderment at the walking trees.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

"Oi, get out of here, you're not supposed to be here yet," Said something out of earshot as the Trees departed as quickly as they arrived.

[Ganyu]

Tim quickly runs home.

[Sir Sivelos]

He puts on a fresh change of clothes (his pants were drenched from his swim), before getting ready to play his new games.

[Ganyu]

He switched on his Nintendo 3DS and watches the opening animation of Alpha Sapphire.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

When that wrapped up, Tim pressed start on the Alpha Sapphire Title Screen and started a new game.

[Sir Sivelos]

Now, Tim was faced with the eternal question; which starter should he choose!?

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Before he got to that choice, though, he'd have to answer the obligatory gender and name questions.

[Sir Sivelos]

Naturally, Tim put his name into the Name Select Screen.

[Rival Max]

He took a moment to decided which gender he wanted to pick.

[Sir Sivelos]

After passing the Name and Gender Select screens, he finally remembered why Hoenn was so well received by the fans.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Unfortunately, before he could actually start playing, he was knocked unconscious by an unknown assailant.

[Rival Max]

All went numb and dark, he first feels grass running through his finger tips.

[Sir Sivelos]

He sat up and looked around.

[Rival Max]

As his eyes adjusted he couldn't believe the slight in front of him.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Someone with crimson hair, back turned to Tim, sitting on a sign saying "Welcome to Littleroot Town."

[ShadowJay]

Tim couldn't believe it, by some miracle he himself was in the region of Hoenn!

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

He also somehow took the form of Brendon, which put him several years younger than he previously was.

[Rival Max]

"What has happened to me..?" he nervously asked.

[ShadowJay]

He was hesitant to ask this, as he did not recognize the crimson-haired person from playing Ruby and Sapphire previously.

[Sir Sivelos]

He slowly got up and approached the Crimson-Haired person.

[Rival Max]

"Wouldn't get to close kid..i'd hate for something bad tto happen."the crimson haired boy said.

[Sir Sivelos]

"W-What...?" Tim stuttered.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

The Crimson-haired boy, who was CLEARLY NOT Silver, turned around to face him, his actual face completely concealed by the hair.

[Bulbasaur]

He stated, "Turkey sandwich."

[Ganyu]

"You don't have a pokemon. That makes you vulnerable." Crimson (let's call him that for now) said.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

The crimson-haired boy, who actually looked to be 19 at least, stared at Tim for saying such an odd thing, then said: "Call me Xi, like the Greek letter for X, not like it matters that much as we won't be seeing much of each other for quite a while."

[Sir Sivelos]

"O-Okay, Xi," stammered Tim.

((Tim must have a worse luck stat than I do.))

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Xi went on, irregardless of the slight intimidation he was instilling upon Tim: "Now, what you have to do is simple: you are going to be LIVING, not just playing but LIVING Alpha Sapphire from the start to the end, the REAL end, and then you get out, understood?"

[Sir Sivelos]

"What's the REAL end," Tim inquired.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

"You will find out in due time, just know that you still have the Pickaxe and the Table leg-and you're going to need them and more," Xi said as he pulled something out of his pocket unseen to Tim.

[ShadowJay]

Just then, there was some rustling and shouting from the east.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

((The Nonexistent Tazz: Doubling as a Ninja since forever and never.))

"Good luck-you'll also need that," Xi said, right before he knocked Tim unconscious yet again in one ridiculously swift motion.

[ShadowJay]

As Tim came to, he noticed a girl standing over him, checking to see if he was okay.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Tim quickly realized the 'girl' was actually (supposed to be) his mother in this world.

[ShadowJay]

She introduced herself and helped him up, bringing him to a nearby house.

[Sir Sivelos]

She kindly baked him some pancakes, which happened to be Tim's favorite food.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

He thanked the woman (his 'mother') for the breakfast after (presumably) 'just moving in,' trying his best to act as naturally as possible given the circumstances-until his 'mother' said that Tim was entrusted to her care by Xi and knew little else of the situation.

[Ganyu]

His 'mother' then informed him that a Professor Birch, their neighbour, was looking for him.

[ShadowJay]

Before leaving, he stuffed his pockets with supplies; he didn't know what he would be facing.

[Ganyu]

He exited the house without a word of farewell, and in a few strides, found himself knocking on the Birches' door.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

He quickly realized the door was already open, and doubly realized that in the Pokemon World, rare is the door you're not allowed to immediately enter.

[ShadowJay]

He was greeted by a girl about the same age as he was (after entering Hoenn), and she introduced herself as May.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

She seemed to be in a bit of a rush, as walked out of the doorway, stating that her dad was probably at the town's Pokemon laboratory if you needed him before walking right out of the door.

[ShadowJay]

Tim headed toward the lab, but stopped when he heard a cry for help from a man coming from a northern route.

[Sir Sivelos]

Being a generally nice guy, Tim ran over to help whoever screamed.

[ShadowJay]

The man appeared to be middle-aged, and he was wearing a white lab coat.

[Sir Sivelos]

And he was being chased by what appeared to be a small grey-and-black furred dog.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Tim was about to roll his eyes, until he noticed bite marks in the man's leg and that there were two of the aforementioned 'dogs' chasing the man, as well as three stray red and white orbs dropped on a bag by the ground.

[Sir Sivelos]

Upon inspecting the orbs, he found small descriptions on the back reading, "POKEBALLS PROPERTY OF BIRCH LABORATORY."

[ShadowJay]

The man, who he assumed was Birch, said: "Quick, you, help me! Pick up one of those balls! There is a Pokemon inside!"

[Sir Sivelos]

Tim hurriedly picked a Pokeball and threw it at the black-and-grey dog.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

He realized that one Starter versus two Poochyena would be a rather bad matchup, so he tossed another Poke Ball as well-but not before the first hit the ground and revealed itself to be Treeko!

[ShadowJay]

The Treecko was eager to fight, and had no trouble taking down the first of the Poochyena.

[Sir Sivelos]

The second one was a humble Mudkip, which took down the second Poochyena with no issue.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

The man, stepping over the unconscious Poochyena, picked up his bag before facing Tim and saying: "Thank you, That was terribly close...Uh, sorry, but who are you?"

[ShadowJay]

"Tim," Tim replied, realizing the man was thoroughly shaken by his close encounter.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

"Nice to meet you Tim, I'm Professor Birch, really Doctor Birch but I like Professor as a title more, hehe," The Professor said to Tim, sweaty from all the running.

[Sir Sivelos]

"Here, let me help you back to your lab…" Tim said, helping Birch to the nearest town.

[ShadowJay]

May had heard about the incident and came running to help, explaining that Professor Birch was her father.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Before Tim get very far, he heard a loud bark and Tim turned around to see a VERY angry, much larger version of the small wolves he just KO'd, glaring and growling angrily.

[Ganyu]

Instinctively, Tim ordered the two starters to tackle the Mightyena from both sides.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Of course, this left the space between Tim and the Mightyena wide open, and the vicious wolf charged forward directly at Tim and company.

[ShadowJay]

However, at the last second, a jolt of thunder struck the Mightyena, knocking it out.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Tim turned to see May, pointing at the Mightyena, with two Pokemon of her own out: A Torchic and an Electrike.

[Rival Max]

"What? It looked like you needed the help!" She smiled.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

The attack, however, only appeared to be Thunder Wave, as the Mightyena opened its eyes and shakily got back up, no worse for the wear bar Paralysis.

[ShadowJay]

The paralysis, however, did give time for Treecko and Mudkip to each land a successful attack.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

May's Torchic and Electrike also got hits in, but before the Electrike could get away to a safe distance it found itself in the jaws of the Mightyena, crushed between the jagged edges of the molars and other teeth, before being tossed aside, totally unconscious.

[Rival Max]

Despite the hit Torchic took, the scrappy little bird moved in to defend its partner.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

((Dredd, the Electrike got hit, not the Torchic-and said Electrike got OHKO'd at that.))

The Treeko, Mudkip and Torchic quickly slammed themselves against the Mightyena's head to minimal success, while Tim pulled out the Table Leg from his excessively deep pockets and the Mightyena lurked ever closer to Tim, Birch and May.

[Ganyu]

The Mightyena's muscles twitched and spammed as it howled in pain.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Tim realized that the Mightyena had been frozen by the paralysis, and quickly ordered his two Pokemon to bash against the wolf's head one more time, and when they did so, he swung his Table leg at the beast, finally KO'ing it.

[Sir Sivelos]

After obtaining, his sweet EXP, Tim turned to the girl and Professor Birch, shaken up.

[ShadowJay]

Tim finally had a chance to get a good look at May, and it felt like somebody had just used Attract on him!

[Ganyu]

His cheeks reddened.

[ShadowJay]

May's cheeks reddened as well, signalling that there was a connection between her and Tim.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

"OK, lovebirds, I think I'd rather go back to the lab before a whole Mightyena pack comes rushing at us," Birch said teasingly, walking back towards the lab despite his limp.

[Ganyu]

The two of them blushed and the group made their way to Birch Labs.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Back at Birch Labs, Birch proved very generous in rewarding Tim for his heroics, allowing him to keep both of the selected starters, giving him 3000 Yen (equivalent to 30 dollars), and a fresh Pokedex to catalog the wild Pokemon he comes across.

An assistant at the lab even gave him fifteen pokeballs!

[ShadowJay]

Upon leaving the lab, Tim and May decided that they would travel together, at least for the time being.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

((I'm going to start recording what Tim has on his person right now on the front page, as well as statistics, because why not?))

May's mission may have been to just capture Pokemon for her dad, but Tim's quest involved-as far as he knew it-collecting the eight badges, defeating the Elite 4, and stopping the evil team's ambitions, whatever they were.

((Maybe it would help to also record the stats of any other important characters in the story, like May))

Tim and May took the first steps onto the route north of Littleroot town, marked by a sign as Route 101.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

((That might be a thing.))

Tim and company made careful note to bypass the still-unconscious Migthyena and its smaller brethren for now and proceed onto the actual route, through the tall grasses.

[ShadowJay]

Route 101 was nowhere near difficult, and it only took the two a couple minutes to reach Oldale Town.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

They didn't encounter any Pokemon on the way, so they felt no need to stop by the Pokemon center.

[ShadowJay]

May suggested they check out the PokeMart, and Tim bought 5 Potions, setting him back 1000 Yen.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

He didn't buy anything else while he was there, thinking he'd get Antidotes and Paralyze Heals later.

[ShadowJay]

They started chatting upon leaving the PokeMart, and May revealed that she actually wanted to collect all eight gym badges on top of completing the Pokedex.

[Ganyu]

She also added that she wanted to become Hoenn's Best Coordinator, decked out in the finest dresses and having the spotlights on her.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Tim admitted that those were quite the aspirations, and admitted he was also gunning for the badges, saying this as they absentmindedly stumbled onto Route 103.

[Ganyu]

May flipped open her PokeDex, remarking that this was the best place to start finding new recruits for their team.

[ShadowJay]

But before they got to that, May suggested that the two of them should have a battle.

[Sir Sivelos]

Tim, eager to get a bit stronger, sent out his first pokemon.

[ShadowJay]

His Treecko was pumped to battle, but May sent out her Torchic to counter it.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Tim wasn't honestly sure of any moves that Treecko had aside from Pound, so he just ordered Treecko to use that against May's Torchic.

[ShadowJay]

It did a fair bit of damage, but the battle was nowhere near over.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

May and her Torchic retaliated with tackle, knocking Treecko back some distance.

[ShadowJay]

Treecko fought back strong with another Pound, and it was clear that the Torchic was weakening.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

The un-nicknamed Treecko was just about to brace itself for another retaliatory tackle, when the bird fell over-the last attack was a critical hit, and the Torchic was unconscious.

[Ganyu]

Torchic was returned to its ball but May had one last pokemon -- a keen-eyed Wingull.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Tim then remembered that it was an Electrike she possessed, not a Wingull-an Electrike which merrily hopped out of it's Poke Ball and slammed into his Treecko.

[Ganyu]

Treeck could almost feel its body static creep onto his leafy skin, but thankfully, he hopped away and retaliated with a tail-pounding to the face.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Unfortunately, it hadn't the stamina for one more hit, and Electrike's next tackle doomed it, leaving Tim to send out his Mudkip.

[Ganyu]

The Electrike, being naturally more agile than the mudskipper, rushed towards the Mudkip, who kicked up clumps of soil at the Electrike in self defense.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

The Mud seemed to blind the Electrike, causing it to go off-course, an opportunity Tim caught onto quickly.

[Ganyu]

He told the Mudkip to tackle it; it seemed to do a painful number on the Electrike.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

The Electrike tried to strike back, but the mud in its eyes made it veer to the right of the Mudkip, to May's displeasure.

[Ganyu]

The Mudkip gave it a quick shove, causing the Electrike to fall flat on its back.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

The Tackle was enough for Electrike to take a KO, and with his Mudkip conscious, it was victory for Tim.

[Voltaire Magneton]

But, the ordeal was not exactly finished yet!

[Ganyu]

Indeed, for May looked like she was about to burst into tears...

[Sir Sivelos]

Tim didn't know whether to feel good for his victory, or bad for almost making a girl cry.

[Ganyu]

But then, as quick as a flash, May deeply inhaled and didn't seem to be fazed by her loss at all.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

"Yeah, my dad says I get a little overly-upset over a loss...Hehe, it's fine, it really is, I'm happy for your first victory, Tim!"

[Voltaire Magneton]

Still, Tim sensed grief in her voice.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

The duo nevertheless walked away calmly, back to Oldale Town.

[Sir Sivelos]

Once they reached Oldale Town, May turned and said, "Say, Tim, don't forget to heal your pokémon up at the Pokémon Center."

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

Tim did so, entering the Pokemon Center and meeting (a) Nurse Joy for the first time.

[Sir Sivelos]

'Welcome to the Oldale Pokémon Center," the Nurse Joy greeted Tim with a smile.

[Ganyu]

Tim handed over his two pokeballs which were then placed in a computer-controlled machine.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

A few seconds later a small waiting jingle was heard, than the kind nurse quickly retrieved his Poke Balls and handed them back to Tim.

[Ganyu]

Tim made his way out of the Pokemon Center.

[Bulbasaur]

He barely had moved when he noticed an old man was watching him from a few feet away.

[ShadowJay]

The old man had a look of experience and power about him.

[Voltaire Magneton]

Tim sensed something suspicious about him.

[Ganyu]

He shouted at the old man, "Are you looking for me?"

[ShadowJay]

The man didn't move, and May urged Tim to keep moving towards Route 102.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

After much prodding, Tim went to Route 102, stepping over a crazy guy examining his own footprints.

[ShadowJay]

Upon stepping onto Route 102, Tim and May were greeted with the cries of many wild Pokemon.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

May nor Tim had any idea where to start looking for Pokemon, so they just decided to carry on forwards for now.

Tim approached cautiously-the creature looked rather skittish.

"Zig," the creature went.

Tim and May jumped back at the Pokemon's sudden cry, but Tim sent out his Mudkip to take it on.

[Sir Sivelos]

The Zigzagoon, obviously annoyed that it was interrupted during its midday hunt for food, looked up and Growled at the Mudkip, lowering its Attack slightly.

[ShadowJay]

Mudkip didn't mind the noise, and fought back with a strong Tackle.

[Kentucky Fried Torchic]

Mudkip charged its opponent and sunk its fin-topped noggin into the Zigzagoon's side.

[Sir Sivelos]

The Growl seemed to have more of an effect that anticipated, as Zigzagoon fought back with a hearty Tail Whip, not fazed at all.

This didn't stop Mudkip, as when he used Tackle a second time, he could tell the Zigzagoon had been weakened.

[Ganyu]

The Zigzagoon yapped at the Mudkip furiously, as if admonishing it.

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

The Mudkip waned it's attack at last, but Tim pulled out one of his Poke Balls, figuring now was a fairly good time.

He gave the Pokeball a good toss, and watched as the ball shook once, then again, then a third time, until finally, he heard a click.

[Kentucky Fried Torchic]

"I caught a Zigzagoon!" Tim cried in joy, unlike most people who catch Zigzagoon.

[Ganyu]

He hugged his Mudkip, sharing the joy.

[ShadowJay]

May hugged Tim as well, but then she blushed and exclaimed: "Congrats Tim!"

[Ganyu]

"Now, you should heal your Zigzagoon, so that you can bring it along on travels," May suggested.

[ShadowJay]

Tim did exactly as May suggested, bringing his newly caught Zigzagoon to the Oldale Pokemon Center to heal him up.

[Ganyu]

At the Pokemon Center, May got a phone call and was needed at Rustboro, thus she left Tim to his own devices at Oldale.

[ShadowJay]

However, there wasn't much left to do at Oldale, so Tim headed back out to Route 102 in search for some more Pokemon.

[Ganyu]

Deep in grass that grew up to his chest, he heard a Pokemon's cry near him.

[Dennis Jansen]

Suddenly, he ran into i Wild Zigzagoon!

[Ganyu]

He threw out his own Zigzagoon -- Battle of the Zigzagoons had begun!

[Bulbasaur]

He ordered his Zigzagoon to use Hyper Beam.

[Ganyu]

Zigzagoon summoned an energy orb that promptly exploded in its face.

[Sir Sivelos]

Both Tim and Zigzagoon were confused as to why Zigzagoon exploded.

But suddenly the other Zigzagoon exploded too!

[Ganyu]

Tim returned the ashen pile of fur to its ball and was about to walk on when a man in blue overalls and a cap approached him, smiling.

[Lovecraft]

"I'm blue, dabadee dabada" he said in a serious tone.

[Ganyu]

The man handed him a bottle of odd liquid before walking away in a Spinda-like manner.

[Lovecraft]

Tim downed the vial without thought for consequence.

[Ganyu]

Before he could do so, Birch's words resonated in his mind, giving him pause, "There's a time and place for everything, Tim!"

[Lovecraft]

When he looked behind him, he saw Birch in a squatting stance whispering in his year.

[Ganyu]

With a shrug, Tim pocketed the potion and continued down the path, feeling Birch's eyes bore into his back.

Then Tim fell and hurt his head.

[Ganyu]

He got up, self-checking for any cuts or bruises, before continuing down the path to Petalburg.

Suddenly, a old man threw a rock at Tim.

[Ganyu]

It sailed over Tim who had not noticed a thing.

[Dennis Jansen]

Tim continiued walking.

[Ganyu]

He somehow found himself in a forest.

[Sir Sivelos]

He was in Sinnoh's Eterna Forest!

[Dennis Jansen]

A wild Rotom appeared and used thundershock.

[Sir Sivelos]

It missed!

[Dennis Jansen]

Rotom gets shocked because it missed and randomly faints. (See what i did there? :p)

[Ganyu]

He then came across an old chateau.

[Dennis Jansen]

But it exploded

[Ganyu]

He walked through the ruins of the chateau and soon, the view of Eterna loomed in the near distance.

[Sir Sivelos]

He approached the town, but it was revealed to be naught but an illusion!

[Dennis Jansen]

It was revealed that a Haunter created the illusion.

[Sir Sivelos]

He was actually on top of a platform, precariously balanced on a column!

[Ganyu]

The column began to tremble.

[Sir Sivelos]

Tim found that the only way to make it out of the situation was to flap his arms like a bird.

[Ganyu]

Suddenly a strong breeze caused him to literally fly.

[Sir Sivelos]

Tim found himself soaring through the sky like a majestic PELICAN.

[Ganyu]

And then he fell like a Geodude to the ground.
