I'm gifted in creating images through writing, not drawing, but I do love to doodle on the occasion. So, whenever I do doodle and it looks decent, I'll post it here for all to see! Compliment it or hate it, I'm used to the latter more than the former. Critique is welcome but I've tried many techniques and nothing seems to work. I can take requests but I hold the right to reject a request if I don't think I can do it.

So, sorry about not getting those requests done. I have some of them done and when summer comes around I'll try and upload them. In the mean time, here's a joke my friends have been telling. See, a friend of mine we call Altari is my senpai, because in my group everyone has to have a senpai. But unlike the other senpai duos in our group, my senpai and I have no romantic interest in one another at all. He actually has a girlfriend that he spends the weekends with in another town. So we have this running joke that if "Senpai noticed me" I wouldn't care because well... no interest in one another.

Got inspired and drew this. It's supposed to represent the genocide run I'll eventually do, where my character's name with be Madder (rather than Chara). Madder always wears a top hat so that's why there's a top hat. The bone is to represent Sans (for obvious genocide reasons). The flower is meant to represent the good side, or the pacifist run, while the knife is symbolic of the genocide run. When I was drawing it I was going for this sort of balance of choice, where we made our choice, picking the knife over the flower, and now we must face the consequence of death.

Oh yeah I do. Here's the thing, my computer is so old that it still has the built in disc drive and the multi-touch trackpad. Modern Macs usually don't have those. Usually you have to buy a disc drive separately and they have some new track pad that deals with magnets that is okay but I've used it and don't really like it. My computer also has all of the Adobe programs save for a select few like Premier and Aftereffects, because it's so old that it had all of the things like photoshop and such loaded onto it when Adobe handed out programs via disc rather than through the cloud. It also has a bunch of other stuff on it that I doubt will be on the new computer unless I can figure out it I can migrate it or something. Basically, this computer is fully loaded. The only downsides to it are that the battery sucks (but I mean it's eight years old what do you expect) and it runs somewhat slowly at times, like when I'm trying to record Theta Emerald.

So to commemorate my new randomlocke, I've been drawing my Pokemon partners as their new types. So far I've done Eris and Echo.

I was practicing some perception with that. It's because I made the zap plate the Whismur is standing on a cube shape.

So I drew the other type altered Pokemon from my most recent nuzlocke. I found these were a bit more difficult, especially since I'm doing them black and white. If they were in color it might be easier but since they're not, I had to get creative with it.

For Jingles and Jaws, they were both ground types, so I tried to show it through darkening some of the lighter areas of their bodies (such as giving Jingles dark paws and a tail line and then giving Jaws black claws and while it's hard to see making Jaws's fang black) and then looking up symbols for the earth and putting them on there. The three symbols I used were the circle with the cross inside as Jingles's earrings, the triangle with a line through the bottom to replace Jaws's star on his underbelly, and then the Japanese character for earth/chi according to Wikipedia on Jingles's forehead and Jaws's side. http://i.imgur.com/TzK7Hwj.jpg

Hunter was a bit more difficult. Since he's a psychic type, I wasn't sure what to do for him. I ended up adding some markings under his eyes mostly because they looked cool and then adding a second ring to his eye to symbolize how Pokemon's eyes glow in the anime when they use psychic powers. The footprints and floating rocks around Hunter represent his ability to use stomp and rockslide, respectively. Ooh your type changes are really clever! I can defintiely see how it would be difficult to show types without colour, but you did an awesome job. I think my favourite is Jaws. :D Good idea for the Psychic type eyes! I would have no idea how to show psychic typing xD

It's Sky and Kage! I secretly ship them and don't ask me why because I don't know. Sky ended up replacing Wilamina and since he and Kage were really close to evolving I used them the most and often swapped them in for each other so… shipping pair I guess? Trying to decide do we wanna go Skage or Kay with the ship name. I'm thinking Skage.

Also Sky is steel type so I put one of those spiked ball things on its tail with the little tail diamonds all over it. Had a hard time with the feet but finally settled with the current design. All claws are black, and there's spikes on Sky's wings and back. Kage is a psychic/dark type now so he gets a third eye in his forehead that can be zipped closed. He also has a zipper on his stomach but that's a black hole so we don't open that. Right now he's performing for Sky using a mix of thunderbolt and hydro pump.

I think I should feel bad for drawing it but I couldn't help myself after my friend pointed out at breakfast that if my character is only eight inches tall then it's shorter than the cups in the mess hall and inspiration struck.

So this is my current main four for my PMD nuzlocke team, Deus Vult. It's kind of funny because this time around I started visiting Croagunk a lot more and got so many good items. So going from right to left as to who is wearing what: Lionheart is wearing the Aqua Collar, Sloane is wearing the Green Bow and Blaze Torc, Liam is wearing an Aqua Tie, Hydro Band, and Power/Special Band (when I drew it that was a special band but now he's using a power band), and Xanthe is wearing an Evolve Charm.

That's my first time drawing a Vaporeon too. How'd I do? Yeah it is kind of tough. That Blaze Torc is going to help so much with Brine Cave though.

References are awesome, but yep, sometimes it doesn't help when they're so difficult. xD Yeah but the part of the paw that you can see behind the tail is perfect anyway, so no worrie. cx Also I've always found torchic difficult to draw because of the weird facial proportions. With your one, moving the eyes down closer to the beak would make a huge difference, though you still did really well. c: But yeah, I can NEVER draw pikachu right because of the round, specifically-placed eyes!!! Same with torchic and for some reason mew.

In all honestly pretty much any water type Pokémon is difficult for me. I'm surprised Squirtle looks as good as it does. Though you're right about Torchic. Now that you point it out it does look a bit odd. Yeah eyes are hard for me, it's why when I draw the pikachu line I always change the eye style to one similar to what Squirtle has. It fits the face better in my opinion,

For the longest time one of the questions that has been plaguing me is what pokemon my character, Madder Hatter, would be. I never could figure it out until Mimikyu was revealed. I knew he was not going to be an ordinary Mimikyu though, because he's an illusionist so Pikachu doesn't really fit him. But you know what pokemon does? Zorua! So he's a Zorua Mimikyu!

It's me and Suicune's Fire as Mimikyu!

I have so much fun drawing these you have no idea how much I love doing this. Now I actually drew and scanned these up separately then photoshopped them together, which is why the hands are a little weird but adorable nonetheless. I tried to emphasize the fact that the Mimikyu make these outfits by adding stitching marks, such as in Shaylava's fire and around Flareon's neck fluff. I also made a lot of stuff scribbly like they had drawn it on or used fuzzy stuff they had found on the ground to make the fire and fuzz for their costumes. Overall I think this turned out great!

Thank you they are good drawing practice so I plan to keep doing more in the future. Yeah I wanted to do a Quilava one and I was like "I'll make it me and Xanthe!" I'm glad they turned out well. I feel like the stitch details are important since they do make their own costumes.

In short Ymir is a character type that generally acts as a protector for the more long range attackers. Ymir specifically can make walls of ice. You usually try to put the walls between your partner and your enemies, but I am very bad at that. I generally stick with the hunter class, aka the long range attackers, though I'm starting to branch out and see if there are any other characters I am good at.

Ahh yeah Lucky's blind in that eye. It may or may not be discussed in PPF someday but the story for it right now is that when he and Isaiah were out on one of their very first missions as an exploration team, they were in the middle of retrieving an item for a client when they happened upon a Braviary that was a highly ranked outlaw, and he had hostages. Lucky ended up distracting the Braviary to allow Isaiah time to free the hostages but took a crush claw straight to the eye and by the time they escaped the dungeon and got to a chansey, they couldn't salvage his vision. Sometimes in very bright light he can make out fuzzy shapes but for the most part he's lost all vision in that eye.

Thanks for the tips, I'm trying to make Isaiah look slightly different from normal Bayleefs (since canonically he's technically part samurott so he'll be a bit bigger than normal Bayleef) but I still haven't got quite the hang of him yet.

This week on Mimikyu Monday... Guzzlord! Wow did a lot of people want this. This was not a simple task let me tell you. I think it came out pretty well. I tried to reimagine the Mimikyu costume concept for this one. Mimikyu's hands are now the claws that Guzzlord has coming out of its mouth. Mimikyu's actual face is Guzzlord's lower face. The other arms are socks with thumb tacks sticking out. The horns are sticks with yellow paint on them. The tail... I guess is another sock with a sewing ball punched full of needles at the end. All and all this was so much fun to do and I think it turned out really well. I hope you guys like it too!

Haha thanks. Mimikyus are just easy to draw so I've been trying to draw them in a favorite of positions. To date I'm pretty sure it's the only pokemon I've ever drawn facing forwards.

On a side note, how do you like the fraying on Lugia? I tried to have some stray threads and such, but I'm on the fence about how it looks. What do you think?

Haha thanks. Mimikyus are just easy to draw so I've been trying to draw them in a favorite of positions. To date I'm pretty sure it's the only pokemon I've ever drawn facing forwards.

On a side note, how do you like the fraying on Lugia? I tried to have some stray threads and such, but I'm on the fence about how it looks. What do you think?

Gotta honestly say, and don't take offense to it. I though, "is that a hair net?" XD but it's 10x better than anything that I could do. I mean at first glance I did t even know what t was, so that's also a reason too. I thought it was meant to be like that at first. For creativeness. Hey we all gotta start out somewhere and find what works. You're doing a way better job than I could and that's great! You've improved a lot! The stray threads give it that uniqueness to it, so that's a good thing. The looks on it look really well done. It can sometimes be tough to make something look worn out. So I can understand why you are on the fence about it. Don't worry! It looks great! :D

I would say target body proportions. These are hard, and yes, trust me, they've been my nemesis for a while. I still struggle with them sometimes. The big thing that helped me was to look at reference pictures while sketching. Such as when you draw Umbreon, look at an official Umbreon picture that has a pose at least close to what you're aiming for. I also do two sketches before doing final linework. The first is very rough and is mainly to get body proportions right with basic shapes. The second is a refined sketch to really get an idea of how you want the final details to look like. It may seem like overkill, but it helps immensely. And yes, despite the number of times I've drawn Pikachu and Emolga, I still refer to reference pictures of those two. That will usually nip proportion issues.

Give it a try and let us know how it works out. :3 But overall, if you keep working hard at this stuff, you'll be rocking out great pictures all the time.

Thanks for the advice. No joke, Umbreon's proportions will be the death of me. This is one pokemon I've been drawing for YEARS and still can't get the proportions right. Quilava is another. I've only just recently started to improve on facial structure for Umbreon. I have been using reference photos but it's just really hard. Though I've never thought about sketching more than once, mostly because my stuff never comes out the same so I'm worried it'll look worse.

I would love to except no joke the place where I could have gotten fabrics locally just closed its doors permanently a few months ago! Maybe one day though. This one spawned from a friend asking me to draw a Flygon after I told them how I usually do Flygon with four wings, not two. And then the picture like kinda half empty because of how I drew the Flygon, so I added in a Mimikyu!

Probably because Flygon is largely inspired by dragonflies so it having four wings looks a bit more natural.

Welcome to Mimikyu Mondays! This week... Dewgong and Zangoose! You get two Mimikyus this week because I missed last week. Sorry about that, I was on vacation and didn't have access to a scanner. I wasn't even sure I was going to be able to do this week but I pulled it off!

This week, Dewgong Mimikyu seems to have ripped its costume! But never fear, Zangoose Mimikyu is here with a sewing needle and some thread to help fix it up! I think the most difficult part about this one was, for Dewgong, showing the cut. I tried googling a few different reference images so hopefully it turned out all right. For zangoose, trying to have the fingers wrapped around the needles was really hard to show since Mimikyu's hands are black. I ended up going in during the post editing and touching it up so hopefully that's clear enough. Either way, for as quick of a sketch as this was, I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

Thanks! Experimentation is key with things like these. I want to make each one look unique in its own way so I have to keep trying and trying to find what makes each one a little different from another.

Welcome to Mimikyu Mondays! This week... Lucario and Ranmaru! I think these both actually turned out quite well. Lucario won the popularity poll back when I had a Core membership and since I recently got back in Pokémon Conquest for like the 1000 time, I thought I'd throw Ranmaru in for good measure. They were both a lot of fun to draw and it was interesting to try and draw a human as a Mimikyu. It wasn't difficult per say but it wasn't easy either. Maybe I'll do more of these in the future, who knows!

Yep that's him, the one that could be easily mistaken for a girl! I'm glad you like them. I actually drew them last week and then did a few digital edits. I'm glad they turned out really well.

Thank you, Sarah! I actually consulted some friends and I was like if Mimikyu were to hypothetically wear glasses where would it wear them and everyone was unanimously like "they'd wear two pairs duh" so that happened. And thanks! I actually saw the seams on another mimikyu costume while I was consulting references and quite liked the idea so I've added it to some of my own! And the Alolan Rattata is one of my favorites too!

Welcome to Mimikyu Mondays! This week... Alolan Raichu! This was a fun one to do because I knew right off I wanted to include a boogie board (tiny surfboard for kids). So designing the boogie board with Alolan Raichu's tail design was fun and overall just designing Alolan Raichu Mimikyu was fun. I swapped out buttons for eyes in favor of buttons for the cheeks. I think it looks cuter that way!

Thank you! Glad to hear it from someone else since half the time I'm never sure myself. And the pokedex entry was so much fun to write. I went and looked over all the entries for Aegislash, Honedge, Doublade, and Minior to come up with those. Hope to do it again next fusion.

So the Pokémon of the Week in Neko's Discord server was Carvanha and as some of you may recall, a while back I did a deathlocke and for a short time had a ground type Carvanha named Jaws. Well, seeing as I have wanted to do a "draw this again" meme for quite some type, I seized the opportunity to see if I made any improvement.

Definitely can see some improvement over the course of the year. Learned not to use notebook paper for drawings for one. Also moved away from using Japanese characters in my drawings which is nice. Overall I think it looks loads better.

Here's the full size picture for those who want to see it. Overall had a lot of fun with its design. Ground types are known for having claws or muscles from what I could tell so I gave Carvanha claws and longer fins. It is actually now strong enough to carry itself around on its hands like a Geodude so that's cool. Bones also seemed to be a theme with Ground types so I made its top fins into a boney style partially because it looks cool but also because its a Piranha which are notorious for leaving skeletons everywhere. Also added whiskers like that of Barboarch and Whiscash because I thought it would be a nice touch. The star that is normally on Carvanha's chest has been replaced with the symbol you see to the right, which is a circle with a drill shape inside. Thought it symbolized ground pretty well so I went with it.

Also came up with a Pokédex entry for it based on the Delta Species TCG set:
Carvanha #318 The Savage Pokémon
Ground/Dark
After being exposed to electromagnetic waves from the Holon Institute, these Carvanha have shown a great dislike for water. Using their new arms to walk around similarly to the Geodudes in the area, these Carvanha are extremely territorial and use skeletons to mark the beginnings of the territory. Should someone be unfortunate enough to enter the territory of one of these land Carvanhas, they will most assuredly become its prey.

Meet Savior! Savior was once one of the main characters for PMD: PPF. He was meant to meet up with Luna once she traveled to the present and aid her in regaining her memories. He is the Absol you encounter in PMD Blue/Red Rescue Team. However, due to my want to make it seem a bit more natural for him to appear in the cold environments, I made him a weavileabsol fusion. The reason there’s not much on the weavile additions is because in his original design, he had very little influence on his design from the weavile side of his family, so I tried to keep it that way. Candidly, even though Savior is unlikely to appear in PMD: PPF other than in flashbacks, if ever, it was quite fun to draw him again, especially as a mega.

And of course, we can’t forget our pokedex entry!

Absovile the Disaster Claw Pokémon Said to bring disasters, this pokémon was driven deep into the cold mountains where it lives in packs of three or four in order to hunt for unsuspecting vulpix, snover, and cubchoo. Legend says when it mega evolves, it is filled with large amounts of energy, causing it to form wings that are said to hold the power of Articuno within them.

Introducing Luna the Umbreon! Better known as the First Human Hero and leader of Team Friendship, Luna has been awakened from her deep deathly slumber to now earn another title, the Horseman of Plague. What could have possibly happened to her that would cause her soul to be seen as fit for summoning? Only time will tell.

Luna has changed quite a bit since I first conceived her back seven eight years ago. Definitely vast improvement in the past few months though. Gotta say, couldn't have done it without the help of all those that were willing to aid me. Let's see if everyone else can improve this much too!

Why thank you! I plan to do more of these snapchat style pics in the future since they're not all that hard to do actually. Yeah that's the first time I've ever drawn Penelope and she turned out way better than I anticipated.

Fusedex Entry 1:
Due to a recent influx of Salamance in areas where Salazzle are common, Balandit have become increasingly more common in the region of Alola. Showing a case of sexual dimorphism similar to that of the Nidoran family, male Balandit secrete extremely toxic poisons through the dark skin on the hands and feet, as well as through the tough skin covering the head. Female Balandits exhale large clouds of poison that can be lit in self defense by the sparks it creates inside the back of its throat.

Fusedex Entry 2:
As a result of the high rarity of female Balandits, a hierarchy similar to their Salazzle ancestors has emerged from these pokémon. Male Balandits exhibit traits of their Salamance ancestors, evolving into giant winged warriors that guard the queen of their tribe, while female Balandits take on more characteristics of their Salazzle ancestry, using their charms to rule and fight against other tribes of Balandits.

Featuring Carolich, the horseman of death. Formed from the merging of two souls of human heroes, for the most part, Caroline and Ulrich are able to move with little issues. But when they disagree and become divided, Carolich’s actions start to lag and become very erratic.

Lost computer access last week so I’m only just now getting to upload these inktober drawings.

For Day 3, I drew Neva, the charizard partner of the human hero Luna, as a poisonous dragon. Her design is largely inspired by the Laconian Dragon from Greek Mythology!

For Days 4-6, I kept the designs a bit simpler. It features Izzy, Isaiah, and Leon in their halloween costumes! For Underwater, Izzy, Isaiah’s younger sister, is dressed up as a goldeen! For Sword, Isaiah is dressed up as Link from the Legend of Zelda. For Long, we have a feature from my storylocke character, Leon the Onix dressed as a wyrm!

In the northern part of the city where Lucky Travels takes place, there stands a statue that's dedicated to the First Human Hero. However, due to the recent events of the rise of the horsemen, it is more than likely going to be taken down in the future.

Thank you! I've been experimenting with my style a lot lately. It's not easy working with a trackpad because things like pen pressure don't exist really. But overall I think my pieces don't suffer too much from them!

In addition, I know it's not technically prom season anymore but we had a prom themed prompt in a discord server and I just couldn't resist busting out this trio.
