Pokemon or otherwise, yah?
I got Fire Emblem: Awakening for a crazy good deal at a used game store that was closing down. It's my first FE game ever, so I feel rather noobish--but I'm really enjoying it so far. and I finally understand all those AwkwardZombie comics WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE?
Maybe I'm enjoying it too much, though. I had a really weird dream last night that was just like a Fire Emblem battle--squares and everything xD

Been playing Earthbound again. It's definitely one of those classic, quirky RPGs that you wish more games could be like. I still love it how in battles, your enemies waste so many turns doing something ridiculous, and how so many weapons, items and other stuff do the craziest things in battles. My most favorite items are the Heavy Bazooka and the Bag of Dragonite.
That, and I've been playing Bioshock Infinite, which is visually spectacular.

I'm trying to play Pokémon White 2, but I keep finding better things to do. I like to sit down for a while when I play a Pokémon game, or I forget what I was doing.
Last night, I played an online game of Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds: Clone Campaigns with an old friend; was great fun, and we're probably going to do it again tonight, only with an upped difficulty.
If you don't know what that game, it's literally (correct use of that word) the Age of Empires 2 style and engine, just with everything Star Wars based instead. It's great fun.

Yeah It would've been cool if you could've used him at least once to wreck the baddies. The cut scenes are great, there aren't so many that they drag the story down. I love the fact that theres no level grinding, keeps strategy important, and the fact that if a character falls, they're gone for the rest of the game. I think I'm gonna go dust off my gamecube and play it again.

I played Skyward Sword recently. Then I remember why I put it down for a while. Then I found something else that was slightly displeasing. IT'S LIKE IT DOESN'T WANT ME TO PLAY IT BECAUSE EVERYONE SAYS IT'S AMAZING. ;_; Also, a lot of Majora's Mask on the Zelda Collectors Edition GCN game. I wasn't subscribed to Nintendo Power (Which was the way you would get it) but I found it at some game shop in Ohio that's gone now. I got past Woodfall and I'm now at Snowhead. YEAH, THE LOFTWINGS, I DIDN'T MIX UP THEIR NAMES. I hated flying your Loftwing named...Well, it was named...Jeez, why didn't they bring up another name screen for your Loftwing? Anyways, apparently, I could fly it with ease before I picked it up yesterday, but I tried the race with Groose, got stuck at the bottom, and couldn't get back up. >_<

Completed FFVII and FFVIII last year.
Currently playing through Kingdom Hearts 1.5. I cannot thank Square enough for finally giving Final Mix to the rest of the world. x3 If you ever intend to replay the first KH it's a must have. The combat in KH has always been incredibly slow and sludgey compared to KH2 and every other game in the franchise (besides CoM which I barely remember and Coded which I never played). Because of Sora's novice fighting style, it can never be as good as KH2, but two simple additions make it much more fluid than its original release:
- A dashing attack ability called sliding dash that I think is new or at least you get earlier
- Abilities like Sonic and Ars Arcanum can be activated simply by pressing triangle, like reaction commands in KH2
I'm currently around lvl 75, working to get Save the King for Goofy and my ultima weapon for Sora, then I'm going to finish the very awesome Unknown secret boss (whose identity I won't spoil) and take out Ansem. This definitely whets my appetite for KH2:FM.

Fully beating the Bravely Default demo recently, I am taking a break from that until I acquire the Collector's Edition, since I only have three uses left.
In the meantime, I am playing (ongoing) Pokemon X--even more so now that I have unlocked a Ditto Friend Safari. I am playing Pokemon FireRed whenever I am not at home, since I am still trying to build up my Friend Safari army on Pokemon X.
Been playing a lot of Sid Meier's Civilisation V recently, excellent game.

Final Fantasy XIII: Lighting Returns. EPIC female protagonist; best in any video game.
And Resident Evil 6 on multiplayer. Best scenario so far was Leon's. Didn't like the gameplay as much in Chris's, although the ending was awesome. Currently on Jake's scenario. I have mixed feelings about it, but there have been some pretty tense classic RE parts. :3
I want to play Bravely Default. Definitely my kind of game.
At the moment, an unholy amount of Skyrim.

Isn't it fantastic?! You know, lots of people complain about the ending but I didn't think it was that bad, especially once you look at this specific fan theory. I won't say anything about it now (no spoilers :P) but I'm interested to see what you think of the end. Mass Effect is by far my favorite game aside from Pokémon. I replay it alot. In the process of playing Fate / Extra. I'm currently playing on two routes right now since you can pick the character you want to run with (there's three characters). It's so hard since a lot of it is based on reasoning and guessing when it comes to battles. Oh well!
Resident Evil Revelations came on sale on Steam and I grabbed. Seems decent enough so far, a few mild jumpy bits but Resident Evil doesn't really try to be scary anyway.

I've played through Earthbound once before and it required a lot of work...I've really been wanting to play through Earthbound again but honestly didn't want to deal with all the level grinding and such. It's so freaking amazing. I find it humorous how its updated ESRB rating is T, though...but then again, this game was originally made in like, what...1994? Ages ago. Speed-X, gyms have a full team now, but it's not really that hard if you grind up and prepare. The only scare I've had so far was my rival, who nearly swept my full team handily with just three Pokemon. I'd say, expect to grind a lot more, but depending on what Pokemon you pick up along the way, you have a greater variety with just the team.

It gets easier in 2. The combat flows a lot better and is a little more shooter based, so you can actually perform headshots and such. The first game has such a fantastic story, though, I find it easy to forgive the old RPG combat elements. Definitely my favorite games of all time.

Right? It's even worse in ME2 when you not only have to be the only capable person in the military, but you have to be the only capable surveyor and miner as well, because it's not important to keep the one person capable of saving the galaxy supplied so he doesn't have to take valuable time mining ore himself.

I can't bring myself to not be the ultimate hero in such story driven RPGs. I immerse myself a little too much. There are definitely some renegade options that I habitually take throughout the series, but I'm always far and away a paragon and completionist. With the exception of the one unavoidable instance in ME1, I've always made it through 1 and 2 without loosing anyone.
Edit: Actually, I take that back. I did loose someone on my first playthrough of 2 because I hated them and never pursued any form of conversation with them. I have since learned to appreciate all of the cast.

Worse? I LOVE surveying and mining! XD I think it's a bunch of fun! Mostly because it's good procrastination if you wanna take a break from missions, or you just want the game to stretch out so thinly so you can squeeze the most out of it. Also, herself in my case, thank you.

I always play games like ME, DA and Elder Scrolls by moral decision first. Cause I'm a good girl. :D THEN I RUIN LIVES AND SEND EVERYONE TO OBLIVION ON MY SECOND PLAYTHROUGH. >D BWAHAHAHA. I really wanna save up for a PS4 so I can purchase one before Inquisition comes out. Oh my gawd, those graphics... *drools*
I can't wait for Inquisition! After I finish up ME1 I'm going to focus on finishing the DA games as well. I'm in Denerim in DA:O getting ready for the Landsmeet so I don't have too much more before I try to force myself through DA2 again. :P

Everyone seems to hate DAII. While I agree it certainly wasn't great as a sequel, nor is it the best game out there, I don't hate it. I like that they improved the combat system (the one in the first game was kinda awful imo), the graphics, and made some enjoyable characters. I don't like how they took out the races from which you could choose (WHY, FOR THE LOVE OF ARCEUS, WHY?) and made it so that you could only travel around (basically) one town. The game as a whole is a bit on the boring side. BUT. I don't hate it. I prefer the storyline to DA Origins/Awakening much better.
So let's hope Inquisition is amazing! I can't wait to be able to choose to be a Qunari on my first playthrough. :D

TOMB RAIDER IS AWESOME AND YOU WILL THOROUGHLY ENJOY IT. Sam&Lara4eva
Haha yeah, my morals are so painfully strong that they forcibly carry themselves through to the games I play, making me nearly incapable of choosing any option that would upset an NPC who doesn't deserve it. xD As I said, I'm playing KOTOR now and I desperately want to be partly evil, but I find myself unable to do so due to my overbearing sense of morality. xD It's so annoying. I don't want to ruin ANYTHING in the Mass Effect world so I strive so tirelessly to keep everyone happy and alive. XD It's terrible. LOL I TRY TO DO THAT TOO but I fail. Definitely. Frostbite 3 makes things look pretty sweet. Kinda disappointing they didn't want for UE4 although that's probably unrealistic, considering it didn't come out till a short time ago. THOSE GRAPHICS MAN. Maybe in the future they'll use it, considering Mass Effect and a bunch of other games were made with UDK.

YUSH. 8D I haven't played it in a while, but I'm up to somewhere snowy. I can't quite remember. All I can say is I'm loving it so far! Minus the fact the text is so small on my TV I can't even read it. D< And the TV isn't the problem, since it's certainly large enough. I just wish in games like that they'd have the sense to make sure the text is easily legible. Or at least add a slider or something so that text size is adjustable. But yeah, great game so far.
I know. Like, every time I finish a playthrough I tell myself "I'm gonna go renegade next time around!". Yeah, doesn't happen. xD That and I'd probably end up killing or disbanding half my teammates and I really can't do that. /iloveeveryone Awww, yay! I haven't played KOTOR in FOREVER. I don't have the game myself, but a friend of mine did and I really loved it. I wonder if I can pick it up on eBay or somewhere for relatively cheap... I also want to use Force Lightning. I love that stuff. xD Same here! I'm one of those people that, when they go through a game, has to do absolutely EVERYTHING. So I take forever playing a game since I search every inch of land for stuff to get, and quests to do, and such. To that extent, no one has ever died in my ME playthroughs (except for those you can't help), and I'm very happy with that. :D Yeah Frostbite 3 is good. I saw the engine and the job it does with the graphics and I love it. Of course, if the developers were to put Inquisition on hold purely for the purpose of better graphics that UE4 could deliver, I think that would just upset fans. And I dunno about you, but I'd rather have a game and slightly lesser graphics than awesome graphics and no game in sight for years. In the future would be good. I JUST WANT THE GAME. ;n;

Awhhh man, I just finished ME1 last night and between that and starting my ME2 playthrough, I'm a wreck. Spoilers ahead for how I went about wrapping up the playthrough, which was ridiculously fun:
I saved Kaidan (although Ashley was pretty much my favorite right along with Kaidan and Garrus) and ended up accidentally having sex with him (Fem!Shep forever), which made me MILDLY UNCOMFORTABLE. Not that I regret completing the romance subplot but... geez, BioWare, not all healthy nonplatonic relationships end in sex. Anyway, because of my ridiculous Paragon tendencies I maxed my Charm fairly early on (laugh if you want but part of my motivation was that stupid preaching Hanar quest that I wanted to finish but not spend money on) so I was able to talk Saren into dying as himself. Which more or less shattered me, on the inside, since I Did Not Want to feel sympathy for him, but... that 'thank you'. Gosh, Saren, cut my heart out why don't you? I didn't have much trouble with him as a boss; I played as Vanguard, and my Barrier skill was maxed. Kaidan (tech) and Tali (LOTS OF TECH) were my final team, so... Yeah. Sorry, skeleton!Saren, but you're not that intimidating. I had worse times with the Colossi. The little bit at the end where Shepard seemed dead was distressing too, especially since I had Kaidan with me. :< The end involved WAY TOO MUCH SAD DYING for my emotional little self to handle, but I saved the Council and was extremely pleased when I got Captain Anderson on board with them.
So, yeah. ME1 DESTROYED ME AND I WAS TOLD THAT IT ONLY GETS WORSE.
So far, my sources seem to be accurate. I'm still getting used to the ME2 interface (I don't like the new interstellar travel system At All, and the Interrupt system is ludicrously inconvenient for my conversation-skipping tendencies). As a result I haven't done much except marvel at how well the developers did their work (EDI telling you you're in the wrong bathroom slays me). It's still managed to wound me, though - the Tali meet up kind of stings, the crewman discussing missing his baby daughter's first birthday to make sure his baby daughter has a first birthday hurts, and the picture of Kaidan on my captain's desk is just rude given the circumstances. Yep. FUN TIMES are definitely ahead.

Some people I know didn't have a clue what an HDMI cable was and didn't use it...which made me throw my head back in agony and cry for them. Hoorah!
YES THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS TO MEEEEE. Exactly. xD I love everyone too! IT'S SO GOOD. I LOVE IT. Ooh I see. c: I got it on Steam so you could get it there. YES ME TOO. Flesh out every detail and explore all conversations...heh. Bioware games are PERFECT for doing that. Oh how I love them so. Oh wow, nice. I accidentally got people killed in the past, but only...well I'd specify where, but I don't want Velocity to see. XD Basically, I fixed it up in another playthrough. Yeah, that's definitely true. xD Not worth it, considering Frostbite's graphics are already pretty sweeeeeet. I'd love to learn how to use UE4. I only made something small in UDK and it was literally just a landscape though. xD Oh yeah, of course. Graphics don't make the entire game of course. x)

Nuuu Ashley! ;A; She's a favourite of mine for sure. Looool about Kaidan. I really need to play through ME1 myself... YAY FOR PARAGON! It's hard to be renegade unless you wanna kill everyone. Oh dude...if you think THIS is bad... Oh my gosh, the second game is literally my favourite game, and the end... Wow. The soundtrack in ME2 has the best soundtrack out of the three games, I reckon. And the end mission... holy crap. I'm getting shivers thinking about it. XD So good luck. It's freaking amazing. IT DOES GET WORSE. IT TEARS OUT YOUR HEART AND SLAPS IT ONTO THE GROUND WITH TOO MUCH FORCE.
Yeah, the interface is different but I actually prefer it a lot more to ME1. ME1's controls were clunky and inconvenient to me. AND WHAT. As if you skip conversations! D: That's terrible! At least listen to them all on your first playthrough. I hope you talk to all your squadmates at length to learn about them because it's important. >:c (YES I LOVE EDI!) They certainly stepped it up for ME2, for sure. It was a learning process for them. The cinematic cutscenes were one of the major selling points for me, especially compared to the previous game. AND HOW COOL IS THE NEW NORMANDY? I like how it tells you who is on what floor if you wanna go visit them. :3 AND MIRANDA AUSTRALIAN-NESS FOR THE WIN! Tali. c: Ahahahahhaha the picture is rude. xD I love that. Wow. I'm having so much fun even READING about your experience! I can't wait for you to go through this whole game. Oh the feels. My problem is that I don't feel the conversations are the same caliber as in DA:O or ME. I also don't feel that any of the characters are as deeply characterized as in DA:O. I'm not a fan of the art changes either. I like the gritty, more realistic graphics of Origins. The game is dark and the gritty graphics fit it much better.

Yeah, the last mission in ME2 is sooooo fantastic. It's possible to get through it without loosing anyone, but you've got to pay attention to your teammates and really know their strengths. It's awesome that you're playing through them now! Keep us updated on your experience. :P

Maddox Yeah, the second time I did the last mission, I saved everyone. xD I was so glad. Omg. It put me on the edge of my seat AGAIN. I haven't played any ME in a while unfortunately! :< I should.
I'VE BEEN PLAYING FIRE EMBLEM: AWAKENING LATELY AND IT'S AWESOME. I'm thoroughly enjoying myself. I've never played a Fire Emblem game before, but I thought I better considering Lucina and Robin are in SSB, which I bought on release. And haha...since starting FE:A, I haven't played any more Smash. XD Sorta funneh. I've also been playing Tomodachi Life because it's freaking funny. I WOULD say that I'm playing the ORAS demo constantly till release, but it's so boring that I can't be bothered.
I ordered Shadow of the Colossus recently from an online store because I've heard how good it is even today, and I really wanna play the HD remake for PS3 considering I don't have a PS2. c: I also want to eventually play Kid Icarus: Uprising, and maybe eventually I'll get around to older Fire Emblem games. :]

FE:A is pretty awesome and it's very enjoyable. I've played the previous games that were released here in the west as well and enjoyed those as well, but Awakening made it to the top of my list. Lunatic mode still is giving me a great challenge to come back to every so often.
I've been playing KH1.5 lately getting ready for 2.5's release. Hopefully come tomorrow I'll have an ORAS demo code to start trying the demo to get ready for the release next month.

HELLO. THAT IS AWESOME. I'm late to the party. xD A friend loaned it to me ages ago, but I didn't start playing it till a few weeks ago when Sm4sh came out and I unlocked Lucinda. On a happy note, I finished ME2 and saved everyone. *EPIC GUITAR RIFF* I considered romancing Thane or Garrus (Garrus is hot like a tater tot and Thane just needs all the hugs) but I decided that I didn't want to deal with the fictional drama whenever Kaidan came back. I may have cheated a lil' bit and gotten help from the Internet. XD I was repaid when I had no one but Jack and Tali with me to kill the human reaper. They are the worst squad, oy vey. I really miss my main crew - Mordin was a big part of my posse, and he's one of my top favorites. Can't help but love the way he talks. Lack of pronouns makes speech much more efficient. Sometimes find myself using his syntax by accident. Quite difficult for ordinary conversations.

Owwwie. I'm attached to all of those - even Miranda, and I never expected I'd end up liking her. I've been told to prepare for the hurting by multiple sources, most especially the friend who roped me into the series. :P
I know right? :C I KNOW. ME TOO. I actually sort of tried not to like her, but after she died...I was horrified. I went to her room after the suicide mission and she was just...not there. o.o I nearly wrote a little story about it because it was THAT depressing. YES OH MY GOOOOOOOD YES. Haha well that friend is awesome and give them a high-five for me! :D

Please! You thought lunatic was bad? Try beating that and doing it on Lunatic+ mode. Imagine the same thing, except with every enemy having absolutely terrifying skills like "Always hit" or "Ignore half of your defense" or "Reflect damage from melee attacks" or "Go through your units to hit the guys in the back." I haven't beaten chapter two. It's been months.
I haven't beat lunatic mode myself yet. Once I do I may try Lunatic+, but not as a whole playthrough since I heard it's all based around luck too much. I struggled getting last chapter 5 to even grind on Lunatic. I'll go back occasionally to get a few more chapters in though. That all does sound to frustrating for basic enemies to have. Lunatic+ sounds like it's just a mode set out to defeat you in every way.

I'm going to play the new SSB on 2DS after I beat Sapphire and KH2.5. I won't ever have a Wii U. With those games coming out I don't want to spend the money on it just yet.
Currently playing too many games to keep track of. Pretty sure I've melded 30 different plots together by now. But mostly I'm working on Final Fantasy XII which I never beat. Will probably be shooting Zombies in the dark with my cousin on Halloween though... which is pretty much what I did all Summer anyways.

I am so slow at games so as a result I have the following games on the go or want to play them regularly:
Smash 3DS
Animal Crossing
Fire Emblem: Awakening
Pokemon X (breeding shinys)
Bravely Default
Final Fantasy VI (on my iPhone haha)
I am a mess with games. I didn't have much time for most of this semester of school because I was also working two jobs and now I have a pile of games built up haha. ORAS will just add to the pile! :P

I need to start playing BD again. I just finished chapter 1 (the desert town, right?), incredibly over lvled, and have pretty much completely rebuilt all of the town already. I just keep getting these new classes and wanting to max them out immediately... @_@
And I don't have a single shiny on Pokemon X. Currently EV training and breeding for good moves and natures. Time consuming stuff.

If you enjoyed the demo then you'll definitely enjoy the game. There are a few jobs that I haven't encountered on other games, like the interesting spell fencer who specializes in elemental damage with swords. I think I'm actually dealing less damage with it right now but that's probably because I almost maxed my other classes.

I've been playing Shovel Knight recently. I find it to be really fun, and pretty difficult at times. The platforming can be pretty unforgiving! XD
The one issue I have with it is the knockback you take from enemies. I've constantly fallen into pits because I accidentally touch an enemy. Whatever, I can get over it though.
Currently, I'm working on defeating Treasure Knight.
Also, I WILL be playing ΩR soon. owo

Well since the 21st I've been playing Smash Wii U and ORAS. Most of my free time, at least, I can't decide which I'd rather play. Both are pretty entertaining.
Trying to help a friend decide what he'd like to play co-op wise at least. We just end to find a good co-op game on Steam that's on sale or pretty cheap.

Halo: Master Chief Collection IF MY INTERNET WOULD STOP DISCONNECTING (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
It's really annoying. My friend and I will be 90% through a level when suddenly everything freezes and "Oh you need to be connected to Xbox Live". (and then it takes no effort at all to reconnect...) Though hilariously my friend and I got into two different game instances once. He was fighting a different group of enemies from me. Also I was a floor below him even when I was standing right next to him on my screen. And we could die but then not die in the other person's game. And when one of use was reset due to dying the other person wasn't so one of us was at the end of the section but the other was at the beginning. It was really weird. O_O"
But that being said I'm suppose to be playing LEGO Batman 2 because I'm borrowing it from a friend who really wants it back but GOSH DANG IT don't play 5+ LEGO games in a row, they lose all their joy because it slowly dawns on your that you're basically doing the same thing over and over again D:

I spotted The Last Tinker on Steam a while ago and it's on sale now, and although it looks aesthetically beautiful and well-crafted, I've learned that there isn't a jump button...which puts me off buying it given that it's a platformer. Who are you referring to as the second boss? If you don't have sliding dash yet, that one thing will make the combat much more fluid, enjoyable, and easier. I'm personall playing on proud. I may try critical mode. I doubt I'll ever beat Sephiroth on critical mode.
What I'm absolutely giddy for in Final Mix:
- Fighting the organization members who were killed in KH:CoM
- Playable Sora/Roxas fight!
- Fighting Terra (sort of)
- New Scenes!
- And just hearing this epic music again....

The second boss is Axel, but it's the first time you fight him that everybody forgets that I lost against so much. It's the one during the struggle tournament, after beating Vivi. Everyone kind of forgets that fight since the one where you fight him with two keyblades was so awesome it instantly overshadows it.
And yeah, sliding dash is great, although being able to use dodge roll again is pretty much just as cool.

I meant that the combos become much more fluid -- which is the facet of KH2 combat that makes it excel compared to other games in the series. I used dodge roll a lot in KH1 but Wisdom form gives you dash which makes it kinda obsolete.

All those moves in Limit Form are pretty awesome and very useful. I found myself using it a lot in all these solo fights. Honestly I find the dodge roll much more useful than the dash from Wisdom Form. It's just the moments of vulnerability are much less, but you get movement back quicker as well....well at least it feels that way to me which is better control over the battles.
All the data battles are pretty challenging I gotta say. Much more challenging than I thought they would be originally. I'm nearing maximum attack power and it's still pretty tough. Though the defense and magic could stand some upgrading lol.

Yet again, still playing Halo: MCC XD Trying to get all the collectables~ (got all the Terminals and Dolls, need to watch those terminals though) I only have one skull left in Halo 2 to get but for some stupid reason it's got a 1/8 chance of appearing...Why would a collectable have a decent chance of not showing up!? Not to mention to even be able to collect skulls in Halo 2A you need to be playing on the highest difficulty! *table flip*
Also poked into my Y game to see how that was doing. Did nothing be catalog what Pokemon I've caught |D At some point I'm planning on amassing all 721-ish Pokemon on one game instead of spread across ~10 so I can have the full Dex. If I combine them I probably do have a good 90%. Played Minecraft with my bro and his friend earlier. That new update for the One edition made the Nether waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay harder. Wither Skeletons are now everywhere (well, in Nether Fortresses) and can take you out really quickly.
