Hello everyone,

I think end has officially come to pe2k, it is officially inaccessible and dead. I just wanted to create this thread to say a very last final goodbye to pe2k forever. I had a lot of personal fun times there, it was the birth place of GCEA and many other great games that are found even in this forum. It may be gone but I will never forget it and will forever miss it and be a proud pe2k member. I stuck with it until very end and I was happy to. Let us finally fill in the hole and bury it.

So to pe2k I say this:

Thank You for all the fun times you gave me and many others,
Thank You for GCEA that has evolved so much,
Thank You for allowing me to know some great members and people.
Thank You for spreading the love of pokemon far and wide.

PE2K helped us all come together, it made us a community and through the hard times a lot of stayed and continued doing what we love. I think its important to remember the good times.
*PE2K Battling Center- At one time a reputable home for online battlers. through 2005-08/09 the battling center was home to some of the best battlers I have ever met. Also some great friends.
* GCEA was born their! Thanks to a lot of hard work by Latio/Tazz, 5Taileddeahlizard, Goldwyanught, Charmander, Jaye, EeveeTrainer, Corey, Brandon
* Ill remeber all the invasion we hosted ! Thanking Sarah and Grassy for kicking butt !

Farewell, PE2K. I'll miss the good times I had that and I'll continue to regret missing out on the months or even years following up to its demise.

P/S Thanks for allowing PXR to be conceived. We wouldn't be here without the community first formed at PE2K.

Oh and pe2k 1 more thing:

I am terribly sorry that your selfish no good admin kept you all to himself and then abandoned you. It is his fault you died not yours! Again, thanks for everything I listed in the original post and so much more! You really will be missed by so many. I could not have met so many good people without you. GCEA would not exist without you, PXR would not exist either if not for you, so thank you for all these great things. Although PXR is a nice site, no site will ever be as good as you or replace you in any way. This may be biasedly aimed, but I am sorry, my love for you PE2K has been engraved to far to be undone and whether you are dead or not your effects will be felt forever.

I love you very much pe2k and please rest in peace. :frown:

I really don't think Ryan was a "selfish, no-good admin." I'm sure that it's one of multiple things:
He might not have expected the forum to get as much activity as it did
He had to "move on from that chapter of his life" and irresponsibly decided to let the forum rot instead of taking some time to give it over to someone else
both of the above
I'm sure Ryan is a good guy. He meant well but he just went about things in the wrong way.

As for me I'm very happy and blessed to have PXR. ^^ PXR is pe2k now (and so much else), and while pe2k is a big part of things, I think we should officially let the dead horse be.

And don't insult Ryan. You're talking to PE2K like PE2K and Ryan are seperate people. I recommend therapy. Maybe people with work are selfish to you... but he did a hell of a lot before you were around. That's another thing. Stop acting like you know and feel everything about PE2K. You joined in 2011.

Eric..The man is entitled to his opinion. Also I agree with some of what he said. Only Harry and Sarah really know the full story here. From what I know in my time their. Ryan gave up on PE2K. I will not sing the praise of any man that builds something and watches the community grow then just vanishes and lets it sink into the ground like that. As a man in his 30s who works, goes to school and has a crap ton of bad things come his way I can tell you their is no excuse for that. All of my projects Ive started and put that much work into were taken care of if I was backing out. Even in my weakest moments I preplanned for others to step up. With GCEA I wanted to just walk away but didnt because of the people who invested so much time. I would have wasted all their time if I didnt respect them enough to try something and pass the torch on so that all their dedication was for something.

Ryan should have let people know what was going on. He should have given the forum a real chance to survive. Especially when he had Harry their to pass the torch to. Leaving PE2K was one of the harder choices I have made in all my years as part of communities.

Also this is coming from a person who did a hell of lot of work for PE2K. So I can tell you that while brandons reaction was misguided. Its not so far from the truth. He does have a right to feel annoyed as any member has the right to. Either way we are here now. With Senior Staff that isnt going to make the same careless choices as the ones before. Lets enjoy the fact that PE2K brought most of us together and has kept us together as a community no matter what the name of that community is.

What he was doing was insulting another a member by telling him to seek therapy. Either way before this becomes more than it needs to be. Brandon you cant put everything on one person. Also as they said we all know PE2K is gone. We are here now though. Eric if you dont have nothing nice to say, dont say anything at all.
