In ancient times, no such buffers kept the larger World divided; there were no walls of light enclosing each smaller world the way they do today. Nothing prevented one from physically interfering with the next.

At that time, the World was filled with light, and a great many Keyblade wielders. But without buffers, the worlds began to squabble over ownership of the light. You see, they learned of the Keyblade’s true use. War broke out as each of the Keyblade wielders struggled to lay claim to an almighty entity known as Kingdom Hearts.

Kingdom Hearts could be described as an aggregate of hearts. Worlds, too, have hearts, just like people; each world’s heart is concealed from sight, beyond a hidden door. By gathering all the hearts of all the worlds in a single place, one may complete Kingdom Hearts.

-Xehanort’s Report 3

The course of history has greatly shown that with great power comes great corruption. Greatness springs from the heart that bears that burden with humility, yet darkness is born from the weaknesses of men who fall into temptation’s path. Such was the case of the legendary Keyblade Wielders. At one time, they were as common in the wide World as the stars in the sky, each chosen by the strength of their heart or by inheritance from a true master. They were given the keys to wondrous powers of peace… or destruction. For a time, the light of the World was protected by the wielders, but soon darkness was born in the hearts of greedy men. With all their power, the key bearers could not stop its spread, and some became corrupted themselves. After all, they, too, were only human.

A great and terrible war erupted, devastating the World of Worlds. Those who remained loyal to the light clashed against they who had accepted the darkness, yet either side was giving in to the thirst of power. Equally matched, no victories were made. The only thing the Keyblade War achieved was the separation of worlds, and the near-destruction of the bearers themselves. Eventually the War was brought to an end, and its account slowly faded from the pages of history. With their numbers diminished, the Keyblade wielders chose to fade into the background. Much knowledge of their own potential had been lost, yet what was remembered was silently and secretively passed from one generation to the next.

Within time, the numbers of the Chosen began to steadily rise once again, but there was a shortage of Masters available to teach the new wielders. Realizing this new dilemma, a group of veterans decided to come together and create a place to foster learning and growth, a place where it would be easier to teach large groups of hopefuls. Together, they searched the stars for a place they could give their vision a home, and found it in a world covered in vast forests. It seemed uninhabited by intelligent life-forms, the perfect place to keep their work secret.

The Masters dubbed the world Everlastia, in hopes that the ways of the keyblade would ever endure there, then set to work building the Keyblade Guild. Not long after they laid the foundation did remarkable things occur. A peculiar tree with leaves of white and bark of silver sprouted at the heart of the Guild. At night, its boughs were alive with light, which the founding Masters took as a good omen for their future. From then on, it was called the Tree of Blessings, and it was shown to reflect the spirit of the people who resided there. Yet this world did not cease to amaze its new occupants. The other trees surrounding the Guild grew massively large, but when made into paper and bound into a book, a special magic was born. Any who read an Everlastian book could be literally whisked away to another world. The founding Masters saw much potential with these books, ways to aide them in the continuing battle against the darkness.

After becoming firmly established, the Masters’ vision became a reality. New keyblade bearers were recruited by Seekers venturing through the books to other worlds. These students were given training on a general level, then paired with a Master for personal instruction. Once they were proficient enough, the students were allowed to use the books to travel to other worlds to fulfill what the Founders thought was the best way to combat the darkness: find and seal the worlds’ keyholes. When the time would come, the student would be examined for the Mark of Mastery; should they pass, they would become a full-fledged Master, and have the choice to stay and train others, or leave to fight the darkness on their own initiative.

The Keyblade Guild thrived for several decades, even after the Founding Masters passed away. The torch of the Keyblade Wielder was passed from one generation to the next, with knowledge growing and their light growing stronger. Yet all could not remain peaceful, as the hunt for more knowledge and power continued. Light casts shadows, and darkness found a way into the hearts of few. As the one hundred year anniversary of the Guild’s founding approached, a great division occurred within its halls as a handful of Masters began to question the old ways. So much was still unanswered, forgotten in the tides of the great Keyblade War. Was it truly their calling to fight the unending darkness? Surely, there had to be more to the Keyblade then that. With such questions in their minds, these Masters began to believe that there was no real way to eradicate the forces of darkness. Some thought that it could only be kept at bay, and that the best way to do that was to somehow control it. The Elders and those undeniably allied to the light flat-out refused these notions, and banished the dark wielders from the Guild.

Despite their departure, seeds of corruption have already been sown. The apprentices of the dark wielders secretly continue to practice what they had been taught under the noses of the Elders, and rebellion is growing in their hearts. Doubt and distrust are quickly spreading as darkness begins to thrive within the Guild. The Elders and Masters are finding their hands full these days as they discover that a new threat is endangering the order of the worlds: creatures of the shadows known as Heartless. They have started appearing in other worlds, threatening the lives of the peaceful natives, and it seems that the Keyblade is the only way to defeat them. Though problems are starting to grow within the Guild itself, the Elders are sending Masters—and even Apprentices and Recruits—to other worlds to investigate this disturbing outbreak of monsters.

Yet on the home front, things will never be the same. For so long, the keyblade bearers were fighting the darkness in the outside world, but they never expected the darkness to be spreading within their own. The time is quickly approaching when the bearers will be force to pick a side. Will you fight for the light? Or will you join in the pursuit of power?

Note: In regards to the Kingdom Hearts timeline, this RP occurs after the events of Birth by Sleep—but before Sora’s first great adventure, and after the fall of Radiant Garden.

The Keyblade Guild
Faces and Places

http://i333.photobucket.com/albums/m399/PowerCampGal/Renders%20and%20Backups/KeybladeMap.png

The Guild is built like a series of mini castles, crafted from white marble. Circles represent towers (except for the Tree of Blessings, of course), and the left and right side of the Guild are surrounded by forest. To the north lies the Training fields, and to the South is the Journey River—which can only be crossed at the main bridge leading into the Great Hall. Down that river one can find the quiet village known as River Town, where some of the world’s non-wielder citizens live.

The Great Hall: This is the main entrance to the Guild, just across from a bridge that spans over the Journey River. Here, one finds the ballroom and the throne-like Council Room where the Elders often work. On either wing of the Great Hall building are classrooms where both Apprentices and Recruits alike are taught. Unlike modern classrooms, these studios are wide and roomy, used for both lectures and fencing practices. Here, too, one may find the Healer’s Wing.

The Library: Across the courtyard directly behind the Great Hall is the massive Library. Two stories tall, the entire building is dedicated to the books leading to other worlds. Most of its halls remain empty, still waiting for books to be crafted to fill their shelves. Currently, both floors in the middle section are full, while the west wing houses some non-magical books for the enjoyment of students. The Library’s solitary tower is strictly off-limits to students, being the private housing for the Elders.

Mess Hall: Here one can find the cafeteria, food stores, kitchens, and so on. It’s one of the newer buildings in the Guild, and lacks the castle-like design of the other buildings.

Armory: Sitting before the field students call “the Arena”, the Armory is run by—you guessed it—the Moogles. Here, weapons, armor, and such are forged for wielders young and old. The Arena is a field where students can practice sparring, though most often it is used for rivalry challenges. Other fields are cleared around the Armory, used for instructions and obstacle courses.

Dorms and the Apprentice Halls: These buildings are the housing for the students, and look quite cathedral-like in architecture. New recruits who have yet to gain an apprenticeship reside in the dorms, while apprentices live in the halls. Rooms are assigned three students apiece. Masters who stay within the Guild live within the towers, getting much more private rooms.

Rankings:

Within the Guild, wielders are separated into several different groups. New students are given the rank of a Recruit, and after becoming apprenticed to a Master they can achieve several other titles: Supporter, Locker, Seeker, Master, Keeper, or Bookbinder. The highest group is the Elders, who are basically the main staff of the Guild.

--Recruit: The entry level. Students in this category have just been discovered by a Seeker, and are new to the ways of the Keyblade. Here, they receive education on their newfound abilities and other matters surrounding the Keyblade in a formal classroom setting. Those not experienced in swordplay are given basic training in that area.

--Apprentice: The second level. Students in this rank have been apprenticed to a Master (who must formally ask the Elders permission to train this student), and are expected to learn how to apply their new knowledge. The Master personalizes the next level of teaching to his or her pupil, so that their inner abilities may be discovered or unlocked. After being through enough training, the pupil can go to other worlds to assist in locking the keyholes or seeking new recruits.

--Seeker: Apprentice or Master task. Seekers, well, seek. They are sent out to search out the worlds when a new Keyblade bearer is detected by the Elders. After finding them, they are responsible for bringing the new bearer back to the Guild. Most often newly fledged Masters who have yet to take on an apprentice are given this task, though some of the oldest, most experienced Apprentices can be picked as well.

--Master: Highest level granted by the Guild. After being examined for the Mark of Mastery by the Elders (and hopefully succeeding), these wielders get the fancy title of Master. They have been taught everything the Guild can offer about the ways of the Keyblade, and are thus able to act on their own initiative—so long as they don’t interfere with the Guild’s order. They may take on their own apprentice (they can have several at a time), or pass the key to someone they find worthy. Now and again, they might be given assignments from the Elders of the Guild to lock keyholes, seek new students, or investigate problems with darkness. A group of Masters known as Keepers stay to defend the Guild from harm, or take care of its land, or work within the Library.

--Elder: One of the leaders of the Guild. The Elders make up a council of seven who dictate and manage the many aspects of the Guild. The oldest, wisest, and most experienced of Masters, these men and women are granted authority over the Masters who stay within the Guild. They have the last say in every matter, save it be the Bookbinder’s choices.

--Bookbinder: Mysterious craftsmen within the Library. They are secretive and rarely seen, but it is they who create the books and choose Lockers. Bookbinders are usually Masters, and they can have apprentices, but usually they keep to themselves and their work.

The Library

As years passed by, the art of book-making became a well-kept secret within the Guild. Those responsible for creating those books became just as secretive—most rarely being seen by the rest of the Guild. When a new book to a new world is crafted, the bookbinder seeks out the keyblade bearer they feel is best suited for locking the world’s heart. Since they prefer to stay unanimous, most don’t actually hand the books over in person. Rather, they leave the book some place where they knew the chosen bearer will find it. On rare occasions, younger apprentices may receive a book, but the Elders never question the bookbinder’s decision (even if they don’t like it).

After the world’s heart is secured, the book is stored in the ever-increasing Library, where they can be accessed again with special permission. Most often, it is the seekers who re-enter books, though Masters are allowed to use them as they please. Nowadays, the books are being used to investigate the spread of the Heartless by bearers of all ranks. However, it is utterly forbidden for wielders of any rank to interfere with the affairs of these worlds. Indeed, they must interact as little as possible with the inhabitants. Librarians working within the library regulate the usage of the books, though are not affiliated with the binders.

The books’ magic activates as soon as one opens their pages. Anyone touching the book’s holder at that time joins them as they jump to another world. The world’s book itself travels with the bearer, and when the Keyblade wielder’s task is done it can transport him/her back to Everlastia. Bearers are warned to keep a close eye on their book, because if they lose it they have no way to return back.

Name: Rush Peterson

Gender: Male

Age: 15

Alignment: Light

Rank: Recruit

Appearance: Rush may be a bit short for his age, and as a result people often mistake him for being younger. He doesn’t have much strength to speak off, being a little on the frail side, but he can be quick when it comes to it. Though he’s adjusted to certain fashions of this new world he found himself thrown into, he retains the look and feel of a typical Pokémon Trainer, with a street-worthy jacket barred black, white, and red. Because he’s required to, he wears a bit of armor in the form of finger-less gauntlets, but he won’t be giving up the black ski cap that he hides his shag-style blonde hair under. His sapphire-blue eyes sparkle with a keen eagerness to please.

Personality: The ideals and principals of the Pokémon world stuck with Rush when he entered the world of a keyblade bearer. Gentle and caring, Rush is ever the pacifist. He isn’t overly fond of fighting in any form, and would prefer to avoid it completely if at all possible. Because of this, he has little confidence in his ability as a keyblade bearer. Though he longs to do good, he just can’t quite get with the program. How could weapons solve anything? With a questioning attitude like that, Rush has been faltering with his training—the sole reason why he has been stuck as a recruit for so long. Once bright and optimistic on the outside, the boy now deals with discouragement and fears. Still, Rush finds comfort in the friendships he has gained within the Guild. He places great trust in them, and would be willing to give anything for them.

History: Rush came from a world we are all very well acquainted with, a world that for so long remained far and separate from the others dotting the grand expanse of the universe. Yet when he was still quite young, those protected borders fell apart, thanks to research into Shadow Pokémon and their hearts. Heartless were attracted by the darkness unleashed in those creatures’ hearts, and it caused all sorts of trouble for the locals. Trainers were unable to fight against them, since they quickly figured out that Heartless couldn’t be captured by Poké Balls.

Luckily, a book was forged back in Everlastia that allowed the keyblade bearers to come to the rescue. They were able to fight the Heartless back, find the world’s keyhole, and prevent the darkness from prevailing. The Legendary Pokémon took over once their work was completed, restoring the order and rebuilding the barriers. Life returned to normal in all the regions, and finally the research done on Shadow Pokémon was destroyed. They keyblade warriors disappeared, and were quite forgotten… until the Elders of the Guild sensed that a new bearer had surfaced.

Rush grew up in the region of Almia, where it was every lad’s dream to become a noble Pokémon Ranger. Adventurous and energetic Rush, too, desired to become one, and was happy to let everyone else know it. He and his close friends would often play-pretend Ranger games, waving sticks around like stylers or performing “Target Clear!” ’s. The Ranger School—where the heroes and heroines were trained—wasn’t very far from his village, and his parents were close friends with a few of the teachers there. The pathway to his dream was clear, every bit as possible as the air he breathed. That is… until he fell unexpectedly ill.

The sickness struck him suddenly and without warning. One minute he was a happy, playful, ten-year-old boy, the next he was struggling for life. All he can remember from this time in his life was the high fever that muddled his thoughts, the coughing fits he never thought would end, and a dream… a strange, strange dream with stained glass and darkness. In the few weak moments he could remember being awake, his mother or father had been watching over him with great concern—and someone else, just behind their shoulders. Who this person was, he wasn’t sure, but he felt like a stranger.

As days turned into long weeks, the doctors didn’t expect Rush’s condition to improve. One after another, they started to give up, but not Rush or his family. They sought for some way to heal their little boy, though it seemed every path they followed led to a dead end. Then one day, someone came to them with an offer. She was dressed very strangely, seeming not at all from their world, and even the way she spoke was peculiar. Eventually, she revealed herself as a Keyblade Wielder. For some time, she had been on the trail of a new bearer, and finally realized that the frail and sickly boy was indeed the one she had been looking for. The strange dream he had been through was in fact his Awakening as a wielder. Being gifted with magic, the woman offers a way to heal Rush of his sicknesses—with a price. Rush would have to come with her back to the Keyblade Guild and learn how to master his abilities.

The choice was difficult for his parents to make. Either way they chose, they were most likely going to lose their boy. In the end, they decided that it was more important to preserve Rush’s life, even if it meant a heart-breaking separation. The Keyblade wielder then took Rush from the Pokemon World, bringing him back to Everlastia to recover from his illness. With her magic, he was able to recover, but even after he tended to be frail and prone to sicknesses. Yet that didn’t discourage the Masters of the Guild from pounding lessons into him. They taught and taught, and he trained and trained… but he had difficult time learning. Years passed by to this very day, where Rush is still a mere Recruit, dreaming of one day returning to his own world.

Keyblade: Song of the Legends (http://i333.photobucket.com/albums/m399/PowerCampGal/PokeBladeFinished.png)

Other: NPC friends include Embry (quiet, down-to-earth gal), who is the apprentice to Master Vanessa

________

Name: Chase Owens

Gender: Male

Age: 19

Alignment: Dark

Rank: Ex-Apprentice (Master was exiled)

Appearance: Chase stands at exactly six feet, though there’s nothing extraordinary about his build at that height. But don’t let his lanky form fool you—he can be overwhelmingly strong and swift when called into battle. His skin is rather pale, as if he had for most of his life hid from the light of day. Emotions rarely express themselves on his gaunt face, but his keen, unnerving yellow eyes seem to acutely take in every detail around him. People unfortunate enough to attract his gaze swear that they feel like they’re being watched by a cunning predator—watching and waiting for the perfect opportunity to pounce. As such, it’s very rare to see anyone with Mr. Owens…

When it comes to apparel, Chase’s favorite color is black. Most likely, you’ll spot him his a dark leather jacket decorated with all manner of silver studs, spikes, and chains, around a seemingly countless amounts of pockets. The jacket is usually undone, exposing the gray, skull-printed t-shirt he wears underneath. He also wears a long, baggy pair of black jeans that similarly have chains wrapped around his legs. Despite all this metal covering him—Chase rarely makes a sound. People very rarely hear him coming before they sense his unnerving presence…

It would be interesting to note that Chase is a gifted Shapeshifter. He inherited this ability from his home world, and takes great advantage of it while at the Guild. His forms (all black in color) include a rat, a raven, a dog, and a fire-drake (lion-sized reptile from his world resembling a wingless dragon). There may be more forms, but the only people who know about Chase’s abilities are those who are on his side. Not even the Masters and Elders of the Guild know what he is capable of.

Personality: Chase is quite the mystery, an enigma within the Guild. He very rarely speaks, unless spoken to, but always seems to be observing. His extreme patience is to be admired, but at the same time this very aspect of his character is what unnerves people the most. Why? Because they have no idea what he’s waiting for, nor what he will do next. This silent, stalking personality makes him quite unpredictable, especially since he very rarely expresses emotions of any kind. Even his fellow students secretly pursing the Dark Arts are never sure if Chase is really on their side. Nevertheless, he is obedient to the orders of the Masters who contact him outside of the Guild, and carries them out with great efficiency. Yet sometimes one wonders if something much more menacing is going on in his little head.

Needless to say, others don’t especially like spending time in his presence…

The young man seems to have a morbid curiosity about people, especially those who struggle to fight their own darkness. His gifts in magic allow him to secretly spy on his persons of interest without detection, and since he currently does not have a Master within the Guild, he has had plenty of opportunity to do so.

History: Not much is known about Chase’s background, since he very rarely shares anything of his past to anyone (not that he has had much opportunity to do so). But his world was one that was full of much fear and darkness to begin with. There, arcane and black magic ran amok. Witches and terrible warlocks terrorized the lives of superstitious peasant folk; feral beasts roamed forbidden places, devouring those who strayed from straight paths or placing curses on those who were lucky enough to survive. This was a world brimming with werewolves, vampires (not the sparkly kind :P), goblins, and spiteful fae—a world we only dream about on Halloween night.

When he was just an infant, Chase was taken from his family and replaced with a changeling. While a stranger grew up in his rightful home, Chase was raised by a prickly old hag who was more interested in experimenting on him with magic than caring for his needs. The boy learned how to take care of himself eventually, but the experimentation and abuse from the witch continued. It was her tinkering that gave him the ability to Shape-shift, but the gift had its repercussions. As time went on, Chase started to act less like a human and more like… something else. Some of the witch’s attitudes about other creatures were instilled within him as well; thus, he gained that morbid curiosity of his.

With darkness wreaking havoc in that world of his, it was inevitable that it would fall one day. Yet for some reason, Chase didn’t disappear with it. Instead, he was incarcerated into a stone that was sent out into the wider universe. Eventually, the stone was picked up by a Wielder of the Keyblade. Through his arts, he was able to call Chase from out of the stone.

This Keyblade Master became greatly intrigued by Chase when he discovered the boy’s Shape-shifting skills. Finding him as a suitable pupil, the Master passed on the keyblade to him and took him back to the Guild for training. The boy took to it well—especially when his Master began dabbling with the powers of Darkness. Chase seemed especially eager to learn more about these powers, but unfortunately his Master was discovered one ill day. He was thrown out of the Guild, while Chase remained… but now, as a nineteen year old, he works with some of the other Apprentices who are continuing their search for control over the Darkness.

Other: Like Riku and Zexion, Chase has the ability to “smell” darkness. (And no, he’s not a Nobody)

_______

Name: Vanessa Garrick

Gender: Female

Age: 26

Alignment: Dark

Rank: Master

Appearance: Seductive and beautiful, Vanessa has all the looks of an elegant supermodel. Her fine, porcelain skin is utterly flawless, with perfect red lips standing out on her artfully angled face. Above her unnatural amber eyes, her raven-black hair cascades down past her shoulders gracefully. She stands a little taller than most men, even without her classy black high-heels, and wears a flowing, feminine cloak over figure-fitting combat attire. Her smile is disarming, always hiding a scheme or two.

Personality: Confident and ambitious, Vanessa knows how to use her charms to get what she wants. One word could describe her perfectly: vain. Always hungry and never satisfied with her lust for power, she can be very cunning and manipulative. She treats those below her with condescension, but will appear silky-sweet to those that she believes she can use. Having no fear of the darkness, she will use it as she will, and believes it to be yet another useful tool to get what she wants. Towards the Elders and the “goody-two-shoes” of the Guild, she acts contemptuous and seeks to gain her revenge against them. When angered—which happens often, as she has a short temper—she holds grudges for ages and hasn’t been known to ever forgive her enemies.

History: In her world, before she came to be a keyblade bearer, Vanessa was one of nine princesses of a very wealthy kingdom. Yet the reign of the king in her day was not as extensive as in the past. The Royal Family was more or less an icon for their nation. Nonetheless, they were lavishly rich, and somewhat of a celebrity group to their people. Being the youngest princess, Vanessa was especially spoiled. Since her early days, she was told that she could have whatever she wanted. And that, she took advantage of.

However her mother, the queen, didn’t want her daughter to grow up a spoiled airhead. She whetted Vanessa’s cunning, helping her to realize that having power over others was indeed a desirable gift. Early on, the child learned to deviously manipulate those around her. Vanessa grew to like power—maybe even became obsessive over it. For now, the people thought her harmless, sensing no real maliciousness in her antics. Yet.

When Vanessa reached the age of twelve, she was discovered by a Seeker from the Keyblade Guild. This stranger explained to the king about her potential gifts, but the king would have none of it. It was, after all, improper for a princess to become a warrior. But Vanessa had seen for herself what a keyblade bearer was capable of. If she could wield that same power, then why deny herself the opportunity? Deceiving her family and the keyblade Seeker, Vanessa convinced the stranger to take her back to the Keyblade Guild.

Once there, Vanessa never looked back. Though she missed having the influence she had in her old world, she quickly gained popularity and followers. She hungrily gleaned all knowledge she could gain from the Masters, rising quickly through the ranks. Perhaps the one things she kept from her old world was her mother’s advice. She saw everyone around her as mere tools in getting what she wanted.

Towards the end of her apprenticeship to Master Theron, however, she was growing tired of the Guild. They seemed a little too careful for her liking. Why were they so cautious about the darkness? That she could never understand. Luckily for her, she would get a chance to find out as Master Theron started researching in secret. The old master never sought to gain control of the darkness—rather, he wanted to better understand it, to better combat it. His experiments would later give him great cause for grief… He realized to late the seeds of treason he planted in Vanessa’s heart.

No one within the guild is sure of what happened, but eventually Theron’s experiments ceased. Vanessa passed her Mark of Mastery examination, by some strange means, while Theron was promoted to an Elder. The relationship between the two seemed especially distant during this time, until the day when Master Vanessa unexpectedly disappeared. It wasn’t uncommon for newly fledged Masters to go off on their own, granted, but Vanessa vanished without the slightest trace.

A year passed before Vanessa finally—and suddenly—returned. Yet something seems different about her now. No one in the Guild can exactly place it, though. Regardless, they accepted her back into their ranks, welcoming her as one of their own. The Elders even granted her an Apprentice, at her request. But they never expected the dire consequences for their blind trust…

OMG, this RP... Reserve, pretty please? Will probably drag in Kokoro, Kakaze, and Ailith again... Shame I didn't think to rescue old SUs from PE2K. Then again, they could all probably use some upgrades. XD

EDIT: Actually, Kokoro, Kakaze, and a new face you'll probably come to hate. XD

Name: Miku

Gender: Female

Age: 22

Alignment: Light

Rank: Master

Appearance: The most striking thing about Miku are her red eyes, although the sheer amount of world that Keyblade Wielders have been pulled form has made them a more common sight than they had been on her home world. Her black hair has been in a pixie cut since she starter her apprenticeship, since Master Amaranth had always said that long hair just gets in the way, and that was one of his lessons she was willing to take to heart.

Other than that there is little about Miku that would draw attention to herself. She stands a bit shorter than the average for her age, and it is fairly obvious to an observer that she lost quite a bit of the muscle she had to gain to qualify as a master. Most of the time she only focused on her ability to get out of trouble when she dares to do physical exercise.

She tends to layer clothes on her upper body; the uppermost layer usually being a large purple hoodie with a black key silhouette on the chest that would work better as a dress on her than it would its intended purpose. In contrast she wears nothing to cover her legs except a pair of black athletic shorts that can rarely be seen thanks to her massive hoodie, a pair of purple and black sneakers, and a pair of black knee-high socks that almost always end up around her ankles.

Personality: Miku is perhaps one of the most driven Keyblade Masters in the Guild. Her moral compass has been corrupted to where the only way somebody is worth anything to her depends on how many people they help, but she only really holds herself to that standard. She also has a habit of overlooking a lot of the good she does.

Her opinion on Darkness is one of the strangest in the Guild. She fears its corrupting influence more than anybody else, but to her knowledge this corruption comes in the form of needing more negative emotions to be more powerful with it instead of any inherent warping it does to the personality. She is willing to give anybody using it the benefit of the doubt, but believes that she herself using it would be what puts her beyond redemption. The only thing she is consistent about is abhorring creatures made out of Darkness.

The worst thing about her personality, in her own opinion, is her complete lack of social skills. She can hold a conversation with a single other person easily enough, but any more than that and she tends to sink into the background without making any contribution. Any attempt to bring her back into the conversation at the point will just succeed at flustering her.

History: Miku comes from a World with its own localized threat born of Darkness; the Noise. She was only nine years old when the World as a whole acknowledged their existence, and from that moment on she lived knowing that at any time unstoppable creatures could show up and take away everything she cared about. There was little she would stop at to have the power to deal with them herself.

It was this singleminded hatred of the Noise that allowed Miku to be one of the first Keyblade Wielders in a long while to awaken their blade without a Master passing the ability onto them, although many suspect there was an outside force that played a role in that. Those rumors are supported by the fact that Master Amaranth was on the world at that time to research the Noise. The man was more than willing to take Miku to the Keyblade Guild after that feat, and she was more than happy to learn how to destroy the Noise more efficiently.

While not the best student, Miku did well enough in her classes that she never had to worry about not being good enough for a Master, although just about everybody was surprised when one of the most experienced Keyblade Masters decided to take her in. Miku herself was just overjoyed at the chance to have that experience to herself.

All joy that Miku has for the arrangements were snuffed out quickly enough. To his credit, Master Amaranth was rather upfront about the fact that none of the Elders would be happy with many of his projects, chief of all being his attempts to control the forces of Darkness for himself. He tried to spin it that he was the only one willing to go to such lengths to keep beings such as the Noise from doing any more harm, and when it was clear that he wouldn’t get anywhere with that he reminded her that he was the one who had the positive reputation in the Keyblade Guild.

It was nearly three years later when Master Amaranth was officially declared an Elder, and that was when Miku decided enough was enough. She gathered up every bit of proof that she could and went to the other Elders about it while Master Amaranth was out looking into creatures called the Unversed that had appeared on several worlds.

One of the Elders being banished off Everlastia for dabbing in the Darkness was anything but a quiet event, and soon just about everybody knew that Miku had been the apprentice to one of the most dangerous Keyblade Masters who had ever resided there. The only relief from everything that came with that was the remaining Elders decided that Miku had displayed the Mark of Mastery by bringing that to them as quickly as she could.

Suspicion towards her slowly tapered off until nobody really remembered how she was related to the issue unless they stopped to think for a minute, but Miku never acknowledged that. Her life from that point on was to do all the good she could; make up for every crime Master Amaranth committed until she actually told somebody about him, which meant seal every Keyhole she could before the Heartless could get to them.

Keyblade: Sign of Innocence

Other: Miku has an Elemental Affinity towards Wind and Darkness.

- - - -

Name: Amaranth

Gender: Male

Age: 71

Alignment: Dark

Rank: Ex-Elder

Appearance: Master Amaranth is a tiny little man who stood a head shorter than his apprentice when he first found her, whose hunched back often gives off the impression of him being frail and tired. All such assumptions would be false; those who got a good look at him would attest to him being in the best shape they had ever seen a man of his age be in. His bright orange eyes tend to be what people notice about him before that.

Ever since leaving the Guild his outfit has consisted of a black wizard robe with purple swirls snaking around, a pair of sturdy black boots designed for combat, and a pair of thick black gloves. There is a hood to his cloak that he keeps up more often than not.

His study of creatures born from Darkness has allowed himself to create a shell around himself that functions very much like they do. It is a tall figure wearing a tattered cloak that covers almost none of its arms and legs, both of which are rather like blades made out of darkness. There is almost always a hood over his head, although his face is easy enough to see; it glows purple like his limbs and looks rather like something off of a particularly terrifying jack-o-lantern.

Personality: Amaranth is a rather affable individual; there was no way he would have be chosen to be an Elder if that was not the case. Deep down he truly holds no empathy for other people, believing that none of them even compare to a being made out of darkness, but he is an expert at pretending he does while not really ever lying.

The strongest asset he has is his ability to get people to do things for him while making them think it is they who are benefiting from it; he tends to lose control of a situation when somebody involved realizes that this is not the case. He makes up for it by being able to sneak out of most trouble.

He tends to annoy those who would make themselves his ally by not being too interested in the fight between Light and Dark; all he is interested in is learning just how the Darkness manages to create life while still being such a negative force in the universe. That being said, he would also happily jump in the fray if one side was doing something that could potentially help him crack that mystery. An official alliance between he and them, however, is unlikely to happen.

History: Having been born in a world where creatures called the Grimm plague humanity, Amaranth found an interest in creatures born of the Darkness from an early age. It fascinated him that a single type of being could bring the whole of society to its knees. In pursuit of the knowledge he needed, he started training to be a Hunter, and was eventually accepted into Haven Academy. He was near the top of his class.

His plans for the Grimm were both derailed and furthered when the Keyblade Wielders arrived on his world. They never really bothered the Grimm, local threat that they were, and instead made their way directly to Amaranth and a few others to recruit them into the Keyblade Guild. Amaranth was happy to take that opportunity.

On top of the combat skills he had already gained from Haven Academy, Amaranth quickly became known as something of a prodigy when it came to magic; the combination of which found him a Master willing to train him much more quickly than most other Recruits did. Amaranth learned everything he could from the man before striking him down while out on a mission. He sold the Elders a sob story about how they were outnumbered, and he was promoted a week later for having been able to finish the mission despite what happened.

The next few years went by simply; Amaranth searched the World using Corridors of Darkness behind the backs of the Elders and studied everything he could about the Darkness. He would take a mission or two whenever they were assigned to him to keep up appearances. Eventually this lifestyle ended when he found Miku and decided that he had to train her. She was just as interested in the Noise as he had been the Grimm, and he knew he would need a successor in case his research was not completed in his lifetime.

When it became clear he was wrong about her shortly after taking her as an apprentice, he decided to teach her everything he knew anyway. Her reactions to what he was doing were always amusing. That decision ended up coming back to bite him shortly after he was declared an Elder, when she ran to his colleagues and told them everything.

He would have probably been more mad about that if it didn’t suddenly give him all the time in the world to do his experiments. His skills rusted without anything he needed to fight for missions, but that was just another of the things that made him so happy about the situation; he was able to work at whatever he wanted without half the stress that he would have dealt with otherwise. And the other Dark Keyblade Wielders often put on enough of a show that he never got bored.

Keyblade: Lunar Eclipse
http://images.khinsider.com/Icons/Content%20Pages/Days/Keyblades/Lunar%20Eclipse.png

Other: Master Amaranth has an Elemental Affinity towards Darkness, Fire and Wind. His Semblance allows him control over wild animals - not attuned to creatures made out of darkness, but that’s hardly enough to stop a wily old Keyblade Master whose also plugged into the Darkness.

Yes hello hi excuse me let me just leave this post here.

Name: Kaiden for the rare few that know her real name. She mostly goes by 'Ghost' or 'Spectre'

Gender: Female

Age: 20

Alignment: Undecided

Rank: Seeker?

Appearance:

http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t100/Saraibre/Kaiden_zpswsmjgi9h.png

Personality: Kaiden is one hell of an observational, and silent person. She has a terrible habit for startling people by apparently moving from one spot to the next with no notice. She can be described as reserved but she can also be described as someone who takes little nonsense and isn't afraid to give you silver tongued sass and sarcasm so well refined that even those who are well aware of this sarcasm, aren't able to tell if she is being such or not. If she doesn't like you, she sees no point in hiding it. Kaiden see's no point in hiding who she is from people. She isn't as distasteful as to jeopardize something important if she has to work with someone she doesn't like. However if someone she doesn't like is acting distasteful towards someone, she will be quick to point them out to people that do not know them. Kaiden has a very fine tuned sense of word play and an even sharper sense of logic and reasoning. Verbal conversations are her forte and though she often tries not to get into an argument with others, she can't help it if she's finding someone, in layman's terms: being stupid. She will call you out on it, regardless of friend or foe. If you're the latter however, she will get creative with insults to a point where you won't know it until it's rolled around in your head for a few good minutes, making you yell out in defiance just before she hits you in the gut. On the friend side of the spectrum, the more friendly she is, she'll still make a clever insult that rolls around in your cranium, only to have you yell "Hey!" as she's already vanished with a smug grin on her face.

This however creates an untrue air of her thinking she is better than everyone else, which is further from the truth than one end of the universe is from the other. If Kaiden see's something genuine in someone worth defending, she will do just that when the time comes for it. She believes in both theory and field work, though what kind of work she does is an absolute mystery to anyone else because she never talks about it with anyone else at all. She has no one to really call a friend as she hasn't spent enough one on one contact with people to form bonds. It's not that Kaiden refuses the idea of friendship, it's just that she hasn't found time for it. She spends only a third of her time at the Guild where she is rarely seen, and if she is, she's often pointed out to others for being the 'Ghost' or 'Spectre' of the Guild for rarely appearing and if so, it's often she's not wanted by others due to her enigmatic nature and 'not afraid to tell it to your face' attitude who doesn't seem to show much emotion. Kaiden does have emotion, she just shows them in smaller amounts. That is until something or someone really grinds her gears enough for her to promptly strike you so hard you wonder what train just hit you and if someone got it's plate number. Other than that she usually remains calm at all times, and sometimes even seems to have no sense of fear.

Kaiden also has an interest in writing and composing music, with the help of her magic. She also has a decent singing voice and is a professional whistler. Her other hobbies include solving puzzles and general observation, and working out paradoxes.

History: Kaiden lived in Radiant Garden in a small book shop next to a Moogle Store. She lived rather plainly while learning a bit of magic before it came the time that Radiant Garden would fall. Kaiden’s story begins after she arrived in Traverse Town, looking around for the home she once knew and wanted to know where she was. At a young age, all Kaiden had were her books, and having only a few with her, she scoured the town for any information about Radiant Garden, and any attempt to try and get back home. She tried to teach herself a combination of space bending magic in hopes to somehow return from where she had come from. She spent years gathering information in notebooks, living amongst a group of pleasant Moogles who seemed to sympathise with her. While she lived with them, she learned how to read and write in their language, as well as learning how to create proper magical equipment and synthesize materials.

She spent a few years within Traverse Town before she came upon a strange book by accident within the Fourth District. It was then she was attacked by a large creature of darkness, but it was quickly stopped in its assault by a strange person with an unusual weapon. After the pair of them were safe, Kaiden learned that the book was not for her, but initially meant for someone else. That someone, failed to appear, and was taken by what the person called a Heartless. Kaiden, being ever so inquisitive, started badgering the stranger with questions about what a Heartless was and how they worked, what they existed for and what they were doing. The stranger couldn’t answer all of her questions, but instead was interested in the girl’s own writings. Kaiden told her she was looking for a way back home, but wasn’t able to find one yet. The stranger looked through the notes and found the work interesting, and even intriguing.

The stranger then gave Kaiden an offer, showing her the strange weapon that she called a Keyblade. Kaiden held onto the weapon for just a moment, curious about what it was. The stranger gave her name as Mia, and she was from another world where they fought the Heartless, and were trying to help find places that were lost. Kaiden immediately became interested and almost demanded that she go along with Mia, as she wanted to find home as soon as possible. Mia had no reason to refuse, and within a week, Kaiden was taken to Everlastia and to where Mia lived in River Town. Unlike most apprentices to the Guild, Mia did not take Kaiden directly to the elders, but instead had another plan of action.

Kaiden learned that Mia was a Master. She learned what this meant in time as the guild Elders accepted the request of training Kaiden away from the guild, rather than within its walls. Kaiden lived within a small apartment with Mia, which was over a café Mia ran in her spare time. Kaiden trained more fluently in the ways of magic, focusing on her affinity with space and time, and also a bit of fire magic, as Mia learned one day after Kaiden grew so frustrated with an assignment she almost set the entire place on fire. Kaiden went to the guild rarely and often on her own as Mia was busy with her own work or her own tasks. Whenever Kaiden was there, rumors quickly spread of her being some kind of ghost, and her reputation of being quiet and sneaking up on people earned her the nickname Ghost, and Spectre. Kaiden grew used to it and even played along with some of the rumors for fun, but she was mostly left alone. There were times where she would spend a few days at the Guild, so she had her own room, though not often used.

As time passed, Kaiden grew older and Mia seemed to be growing weaker. Mia had come down with an ailment that was rapidly taking over her body, but she would not rest until she saw her apprentice become a keyblade master. In a private meeting, the Elder’s tested her abilities and while she passed, Mia made one more request: no one else was to know of Kaiden becoming a Master. While this request was highly irregular of the usual Guild ways, they respected her decision nonetheless and Kaiden’s identity of a Master was kept a secret. Kaiden however was put on Seeker’s assignments, and that is all that there was to be known by anyone else that was not the Elders, Kaiden, or Mia. There was further discussion, as Kaiden found it unusual at 17 she was pushed to become a Master by her own.

Upon returning home that night, Mia told Kaiden of her research, and why she initially brought her to Everlastia. Though the conversation was brief, Kaiden understood what her role was in Mia’s plans. Initially angry at her, the feeling dissipated when Kaiden was told something else; the conversation that took place without her just before they had left for home.

Kaiden only had a few days left with Mia before she passed on. Mia showed Kaiden a few last techniques and skills before her passing. To this day, Kaiden still returns occasionally to the Guild, carrying the same if not more rumors about her and her identity as a Master is still hidden from everyone else. She is still called the Ghost or Spectre of the Guild, and rarely works with anyone else on assignments, if not at all. She continues to run the café in River Town by herself. Anything else is an enigma.

Kaiden's Keyblade amplifies her Time and Space magic. Her ability to enchant inanimate objects to do her will is also amplified by her Keyblade, but is strong enough on it's own.

Other: Kaiden has magic focusing on enchanting inanimate objects. She often uses this in battle to create an extra set of hands or for composing music in her free time. Her combat abilities are similar to Aqua's Ghost Drive Command Finisher in BBS. She also knows really old magic though seems to specialize more so in Time and Space magic than anything else. I'm having them listed here for future reference. Her only other specialization is specific Fire Magics but she rarely uses these, only when she gets very, very fed up with something, indicating they are higher level tiered spells, and they are always a blue colour instead of red.

This is my personal list of magic for reasons.

Since they are twin brothers, who are completely identical and share the same sort of backstory, I decided to put them together in the sign-up.

Name: Baltiaire and Frago

Gender: Males

Age: 19

Alignment: Baltiaire: Light, Frago: Light, though could be convinced to dabble in the dark arts.

Rank: Final year apprentices

Appearance: Baltiaire and Frago are identical twins. Due to them having the same sort of childhood, growing up on a farm, and being trained in bending, they still share most of their physical characteristics, with the exception of scars and such. Frago has more burn scars, whilst Baltiaire has more scars from cuts. Because their training differed due to being different benders, Baltiaire is slightly slower, but slightly psychically stronger and balanced, whilst Frago is more light on his feet and quick.

The pair stand at 6 ft 1, both semi well built due to working on a farm most of their lives, and both have different types of scars on them, though none are visible at first glance. Unless you see them bending, or know their wardrobes well, it is very hard to tell the difference based on appearance. For the first few weeks at the guild, the other apprentices thought that there was one apprentice who changed his clothes really often. Frago tends to stand slightly taller and prouder than Baltiaire, who has always seemed to naturally have bad posture.

The twins have messy, medium length black hair with dark green/hazel eyes. Their skin is slightly tanned, and their faces lightly freckled. Depending on the mood either twin is in, one of them might not shave and have a bit of facial hair, or both of them.

Baltiaire tends to wear navy blue, black and grey clothing, whilst Frago tends to wear blue and red.

Frago's Keyblade armour is slate grey with yellow/orange accents. The forarms have curved spikes pointing from the wrist to the elbow purely for decoration, as do the calves from the knees to the ankles. Baltiaire 's armour is slim fitting and simple. It is a cobalt blue colour with streaks of carbon fibre grey. However due to his lack of a proper keyblade, he is unable to sustain the armour for long periods of time or extended damage. He has been known to metalbend makeshift armour when his keyblade armour gives out.

Personality:
Baltiaire

Baltiaire is the quiet and reserved type. Any friends he has made at the guild, he has made only because they spoke to him first. He will rarely strike up first conversation with someone unless he feels like something needs to be said or he really wants to get to know them, and even then he barely speaks above a whisper. In short, he lacks confidence. Though he knows he is just as capable as his brother, he sometimes feels inferior to him, due to his brother seemingly being scared of nothing, and being able to do things he can't, like summon a proper keyblade. Baltiaire seems like the weaker of the two, though is psychically stronger than his brother, due to sheer force being more staple to earthbending than firebending, and emotionally, as he was able to grant his father his final wish, and end his life. This being said, Baltiaire was always jealous of the relationship between his father and Frago. Frago was in training for his firebending longer than Baltiaire was for his earthbending, due to learning about lightning, and because of this, seemed to be loved by their father more. Frago hasn't picked up on this. Though Baltiaire is quiet and is less likely to fight, he has the strength to do what needs to be done. He is determined, and will not give up until he has no other choice. Though his brother is more naturally talented with a keyblade, Baltiaire is his match purely because he has the ambition to be better than his brother.

Baltiaire has a good sense of humour, and will often leave his friends shocked in amusement at the remarks he makes about others at the guild, mostly about his brother. He feels more comfortable sticking with whats familiar, and when it comes to keyblade, tends to incorporate his earthbending into it, and rarely strays outside of the proper forms and techniques. When told to spar without Earthbending, he is generally at the disadvantage because though he has the ability, he is too nervous to try and be unpredictable.

Though he and Frago tend to be opposites, he looks up to Frago, and if Baltiaire does something stupid, like sneaking out in the middle of the night to visit some girls near their dorm (which he has been busted for before), it is almost certain it is because Frago was doing it as well and talked him into it.

Frago

Frago is cocky and overconfident. Though he does tend to feel insecure about himself and his strength and abilities, he covers it up with arrogance, and overconfidence. Until the day their parents were killed, he saw himself as the better and stronger son, until Baltiaire did what he couldn't bring himself to do. Frago is the type of guy who will make his presence known in a room, and is the first to volunteer at anything that will make him look good. Especially sparring. When it comes to keyblade, Frago would be top of the class if he actually tried a bit more. He has natural talent, which gets him by, as well as being willing to push the boundaries of what is accepted as a Keyblade warrior. To him the forms and technique are only a guide, for him to twist to his own standard. Sometimes it works well and he is a force to be reckoned with. Other times he drops his keyblade.

Baltiaire sees himself as a blessing to female-kind, and has no objection to flirting for the sake of filling time. A few of the female apprentices have attempted a romantic relationship with Frago, only to have their heartbroken because he got bored. After his first year, Frago's reputation had become cemented in the girls dorm, however this didn't stop him from getting some entertainment out of the new apprentices that hadn't heard about him yet...

When it comes to fighting, Frago tends to rely on quick, cheap shots, as well as using firebending and lightning to his advantage, though he is capable of holding his own without them. His usual strategy is to avoid attacks and analyze his opponents fighting style, finding a weakness and exploiting it with a feint strike and a lightning bolt or fireball.

History: Baltiaire wand Frago were born the identical twin sons of a firebender and earthbender, fifteen years before the hundred year war was ended when Avatar Aang and his friends took down the airship fleet, gatecrashed and stopped the coronation of Princess Azula, and removed the bending of Fire Lord Ozai.

Baltiaire and Frago were born and raised on a small farm on the outskirts of Yu Dao, a fire nation colony. Their father was a fire-bender, descending from royalty (His great grandfather was the uncle of Fire Lord Sozin), and their mother a farmers daughter from the Yu Dao area. During the war, their father pulled every string he could from being part of the royal family to have peace on their farm, but even then they were still attacked by rogue soldiers, bandits and vigilante's who sought to kill the firebenders. Because of this, from a young age, they were trained in their abilities, as well as how to run the farm. Baltiaire in earthbending by their mother, and Frago in firebending by their father, which also included the generation of lightning.

When they were fourteen, their farm was attacked by bandits in the dead of the night. They were used to bandit attacks being small and uncoordinated but this was different. There were more bandits than they could fight, and they were much more coordinated and strategic with this attack.

When the battle looked like it would be lost, their mother did what she had to to protect them. As the twins fought, the ground beneath them dropped, then closed above them, leaving them trapped underneath the farm. They had realized why, and every time Baltiaire would earthbend it open again, their mother would close it. After a few minutes, Baltiaire opened the earth above them, and it didn't close. Their mother had been killed.

They got out of the giant hole they had been trapped in, and watched as their father had a knife plunged into his back, and pulled to his waist. Frago electrocuted the bandit, and the two managed to fight off the rest of them. The ones who didn't flee were killed. When the fighting was over, they found their father who was barely alive. He couldn't feel anything from his chest downwards, and was losing a lot of blood. He had minutes left, but was in excruciating pain. In these minutes he made a final request. He asked Frago to kill him. He wanted to die quickly and peacefully, and didn't want the person responsibly for his death to be a cowardly bandit. He would rather his son, whom he had trained from the moment he showed the ability to firebend, to be the one to end his life.

Frago couldn't do it. He stood there, astounded as his fathers dying words were begging him to kill him. After a minute the earth beneath him twisted around so that his back was turned. Before Frago realised what was going on, their father was dead. Baltiaire had turned Frago around so he didn't have to see it, then sent their father to the afterlife.

After burying their parents, the brothers traveled across the earth kingdom, eventually stopping at Ba Sing Se. They had never really wanted to be farmers, and knew that destiny had called them elsewhere. In Ba Sing Se, they managed to rent a small apartment in the lower ring, paying for it by working as labourers in a farm in the Agrarian zone (Baltiaire) of Ba Sing Se and in a forge in the middle ring (Frago).

After a year of living in Ba Sing Se, the fire nation coup caused the city to fall, and to fall into chaos. The brothers managed to survive the year without too much trouble due to being of Fire Nation heritage. Before too long, the war ended, and Ba Sing Se was under Earth Kingdom control again. For the first time in a century, there was peace in the world.

When the twins were sixteen, the Beifong Metalbending Academy opened up a campus in Ba Sing Sei, where Baltiaire began studying Metalbending. Though it took a lot of practise, he stuck to it, and in two years was as capable of a Metalbender as he was an Earthbender.

Shortly after Baltiaire finished at the Metalbending Academy, Frago awoke one night to the sound of footsteps in their apartment. He woke Baltiaire up and they quietly made their way into the kitchen area of the apartment, where they found a man waiting for them.

Upon interrogating the man, they found out he had come for Baltiaire, and claimed to be from a place called the Keyblade Guild in another world. He told them that Baltiaire had been chosen to learn how to use keyblades, which is a rare gift. When Frago asked if he had been chosen as well, the man quickly denied it, saying that the Elders specifically told him only Baltiaire was chosen.

The brothers were skeptical, and told the man to back up his claims. In response, he summoned his keyblade, and then used it to use a spell on Baltiaire. A spell which would forcefully summon his own keyblade. However it didn't go as planned. A keyblade didn't appear in Baltiaire's hand, but Frago's.

The keyblade master used a book to take the brothers to the Keyblade Guild, to speak to the Elders. When he first asked them which one was the chosen one, they unanimously agreed it was Baltiaire, and were all shocked when the spell summoned a keyblade to Frago again. In the end, they allowed both brothers to stay.

The brothers were given a month to return home and take care of any loose ends they had. In this time, a meteor shower hit the farm that Baltiaire had been working at. He remembered hearing stories about Team Avatar and how even though Sokka didn't have bending abilities, he was still valuable to the team. He also remembered hearing about the 'Space Sword'.

Baltiaire harvested as much metal as he could from the meteor that hit the farmland, and took it to the forge where Frago had been working during their time in Ba Sing Se. From this metal, he crafted himself a weapon in the likeness of a keyblade. Essentially a keyblade without the magic properties of a keyblade. Until his own one made itself present, this would have to do.

After tying up loose ends at home, they finally moved into the keyblade guild, where they have been apprentices since, nearing the end of their apprenticeship.

Keyblade:
Frago's keyblade is slightly longer than the average keyblade (3-4) inches). The main shaft of it is a bright, chrome like metal, with a slight orange/red tint. Along the shaft are small openings which are linked to a trigger on the hilt. The trigger causes flammable gas to flow through and out the shaft, which can be ignited. The hilt is the shape of a dragons head, which encases Frago's hand. There are three black teeth that jut out on the end of the key.

Baltiaire's Keyblade is not a traditional keyblade. Baltiaire hand-forged his keyblade himself, using metal from a meteor like he had heard stories of, and using his own metalbending to shape it into the perfect weapon for him. Whilst Frago doesn't completely understand his keyblade, Baltiaire knows every inch of it. He knows the exact weight and feel of it. It is not a weapon to him but an extension of his own body. However because it was forged by Baltiaire, to be a temporary keyblade until he acquired a proper one, it has none of the magic properties of other keyblades. It does not just materialise out of thin air. He must carry it with him. He must maintain and repair it. He can not use it to do magic.

The keyblade is capable of changing forms due to Baltiaire being capable of metalbending, however has a 'base' form which Baltiaire tends to leave it as. The hilt is made of glowing crystals from the Ba Sing Sei catacombs, which can be extended or retracted with earthbending to create deadly spikes. The shaft and teeth are made of compressed and compacted black meteor metal. Due to it being so dense and compacted, it is very strong. Baltiaire often uses his metalbending to reshape the sword, mostly moving the teeth to give extra length, or appendages off the blade to block others. It is indeed a sword designed for a metalbender.

Other: From a world with four nations named after the elements, where certain gifted people have the ability to manipulate them to their will. A hundred year was has seen its end in recent years, which Baltiaire and his Frago were lucky to survive. Baltiaire has the ability to manipulate earth and some impure metals, whilst Frago ha the ability to create and manipulate fire and lightning.

Other: Miku has an Elemental Affinity towards Wind and Darkness.

Ooooo, nice! :D I wasn't expecting a character like Amaranth, but this will be fantastic! Accepted!

@Sabi: Kaidan's coming along nicely! :D (also srsly good artist ermergersh)
XaiakuX: Reserved! And off the top of my head I can't think of any rules for Elders. As the veterans of the Guild, they should at least be about 50 years of age (well, I'll go 45). They are more skilled/powerful and knowledgeable but be cautious not to make them too OP'd. I suppose it all depends on what you want to do with your Elder. And it probably goes without saying that they have to be aligned with Light--unless it is an ex-Elder character like Sieses'

Update 3/28/15: Die is going to need a Master, and though I'm probably going to keep Masamune Sensei an NPC, I may create a brief form just so everyone knows what to expect from him. I want to note that I have a very specific intention for him so please no bunnying him without permission, thanks. :]

Name: Daisuke, Die is his nickname

Gender: Male

Age 21, "I swear I'm not a drunk, I'm a booze connoisseur!" (Are references to booze allowed? There will be no debauchery!)

Alignment Light

Rank Apprentice

Appearance Die stands 6 ft. tall and has a toned build. He has a modern look. He has black hair, with fringes swept slightly to the right. He wears a black t-shirt covered by a white, short-sleeve hooded jacket. He wears black jeans and black shoes. He has fingerless leather gloves and black wrist-bands.

Personality Daisuke thrives in social environments. He always organizes social events at the guild to help other Keybearers relax and take it easy. Whenever there's a new apprentice, he's the first to befriend them and make them feel at home. He considers the people at the guild his family and the schism hurts him a lot. He tends to be an optimist and would be easy to betray -- indeed, he'd let anyone in the guild betray him and harbor no ill-feelings toward them in return, but would seek primarily to restore them back to the light. At the same time, having been trained as a Samurai and a fighter, and having been acquainted with the power of darkness due to his continuous struggle to expel its influence within his own heart, he is prepared to go to extreme lengths to protect his friends when in danger. He's driven to win and enjoys a challenge. He enjoys healthy rivalry and views it as a chance to improve both himself and those around him. You could say he's both an altruist and an idealist.

He fears one day letting his friends down. While he's committed to the original cause of the guild, he often feels the weakness of his own heart when assaulted by darkness and in despair doubts his alignment with the light. He dreads the idea that he may prove to be an imposter. Part of the reason he likes to make friends is because he knows the strength of numbers and wants to have companions who will aid him in trouble. At the same time, he has times when he wonders whether having friends is even safe and on rare occasions he isolates himself from others.

Die is known to have many pastimes. He fancies himself a connoisseur of alcohol, a collector of books, music, guitars, as well as an athlete. When he gets bored he does push-ups or crunches.

History Die grew up in Twilight Town with a well nurtured home and good parents. In school, he was the subject of bullying and abuse, at least until he came under the tutelage of one Shosai Sensei, a Kenpo instructor, a form of martial arts. At that point, he began to use Kenpo to fend for himself and protect the needy. Though a fighter, he wasn't known as a disagreeable person, but as an advocate of the helpless. This somewhat philanthropic tendency also showed up in his ability to seek out the friendless. If there was a new student, he took them into his circle of friends immediately. As if without effort, he just happened to be where he was needed and freely gave his assistance. Shosai Sensei always told him, "Darkness is the only company of loneliness," a phrase which delights him to this day.

From ages 12-15 he competed in the Struggle tournament every summer, besides organizing periodic tournaments of his own. This time helped him to develop companionship with other fighters and hone his fighting skills. He became Shosai sensei's star pupil and even aided him as a teacher. His potential was noted by all, and he was expected to one day take over the dojo. Things would tragically take a turn for the worse, however, as Twilight Town was infiltrated by darkness threatening the entire world. An ill Shosai face the heartless alone, but he was unable to stop them without the Keyblade and his illness ultimately led to his demise, and all this before young Die's very eyes. One of Die's close companion's, Yasu, was turned into a heartless, after which Die gained the ability to wield the Keyblade. He used the Keyblade to defeat his comrade, but knew nothing of the heart of the worlds or of the keyhole, and retreated after standing his ground for as long as he could. The loss of his friends planted seeds of revenge and isolation in his heart which would mark a struggle in his training from that day on. He also blamed himself for what happened to Yasu.

After a few months elapsed, a warrior wielding the Keyblade appeared and introduced himself to Die as a Date Masamune. Masamune led a counterattack against the heartless with Die at his side. When Die saw the Orcas heartless that defeated Shosai Sensei he lost his cool and began to use the power of darkness. However, Masamune Sensei intervened and defeated the heartless before Die could do it. Die, thirsty for revenge, erupted angrily at Masamune, but Masamune explained that Die was acting in blood-lust and if he had let him slay the heartless he may have irreversibly fallen into darkness. He reminded him of Shosai Sensei's legacy and this brought Die back to his senses. They shut the keyhole together, and Masamune, moved by pity as well as Die's potential, offered to train him as a Keybearer. Die of course needed a new teacher and knew nothing of the Keyblade, but was reluctant to leave his family and friends, as well as the dojo now bereaved of Shosai. Determined to put an end to the darkness, including its seeds in his own heart, he resolved to submit to Masamune as his new Sensei and left for Everlastia, where he's been a student for 6 years.

Keyblade: http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/kingdomhearts/images/b/ba/DaysAubird_Lord.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width/30?cb=20090823115409 Die's Koryû ("little dragon") is similar in design to Roxas's Aubade, though it lacks the guard and has the length of a kodachi (longer than a dagger, shorter than a katana), and is entirely black.

Other: Die combines his kenpo with his swordsmanship for extensive combos. His elemental affinities lean towards earth and thunder. He is apprentice to Masamune Sensei, a NPC.

Keyblade:
http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/kingdomhearts/images/7/75/DaysSolitude_Pain.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width/30?cb=20090823112527

Accepted! :D I'm pretty excited for this! ^^

It's coming along. Probably gonna continue to work with his appearance. I wrote that up very quickly for the sake of having something there. I've put more work into his personality, and I still don't exactly know what to do with his history yet.

His hair is a dark reddish color, with bangs coming just below his eyes and a slight part towards the right side of his face.

Looking good so far! But no rush! Take your time :)

In regards to alcohol, references are fine, but preferably no consumption ;) There's a lot of minors on campus, considering.

Yes ma'am, I'll behave. xP

I have lots of history written now... too much and I'm condensing. I'll be finished with mine this week too, I'll just have to pull another later nighter or two.

...Whut?

In other news, I have history to finish up for two of my three, and then some art to color for Kokoro and Synna, maybe some to draw for Kumori/Kakaze, but hopefully I'll have a good chunk of free time this week after my classes finish in Wednesday.

YER SO FUNNY

You know, after I wrote that, I realized I had made an unintentional pun and thought about changing my word choice. But I was too lazy and thought no one would catch it. Of course, you'd prove me wrong :P

At any rate, no worries. Don't lose sleep on my account xD

Update 3/28/15: Die is going to need a Master, and though I'm probably going to keep Masamune Sensei an NPC, I may create a brief form just so everyone knows what to expect from him. I want to note that I have a very specific intention for him so please no bunnying him without permission, thanks. :]

I think I'm failing at all this Japanese xD BUT! Everything looks good by this!

But by accepting it, we're making it "cannon" for this RP that Twilight Town's keyhole has been sealed and also has a World Book in the Library. Which is fine with me, since it never really seemed to have a problem with Heartless. Unless you count Days? Meh.

Anyhoot, welcome to heck the RP!

Hmm.... I just realized that we may have a problem with Traverse Town, now, though... Since cannonically Sora sealed up its keyhole... And not the Guild...

...

I'll come up with some kind of explanation xD

There's that xD

I was also thinking that since Traverse Town is made up of what's left of other worlds lost to darkness, its heart could be in a state of constant change--thus making it very difficult to lock.

If I recall correctly from lore, Traverse Town is a world that appears when people need it. It's whatever it needs lost people to be, so it being in an everchanging state makes some sense. I would imagine only people with strong ties *coughkaidencough* could go back and forth between there. Also Sora/Riku have locked Traverse Town like, three times?

Holy gosh these took waaaaaay longer than I expected. May edit in colored versions of the pics later/if needed.

Name: Kokoro "Koko" Maimi
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Alignment: Light
Rank: Apprentice
Appearance:
http://pre10.deviantart.net/8609/th/pre/i/2015/098/a/c/kokoref_by_winter_oneechan-d8p074l.jpg
Kokoro stands in at about 5'7", and is covered in lightly defined muscles hidden by clear skin that appears to hold a permanent tan. It's usually her expressive blue eyes that tend to win people over, though combined with her mid back length, chocolate colored hair, she's a relatively pretty girl overall. Koko's known for wearing a white camisole under a blue sleeveless hoodie with a pair of jeans that has definitely seen better days. Hiding away most of her legs is pair of white boots that lace up to her knees in combination with a kind of pale blue half skirt she wears belted and knotted at her right hip that reaches just past her knees on her left side, which has a perfect, single, small heart shape cut out of it at the bottom.
Personality: Kokoro is a rather cheerful and friendly young lady with plenty of energy to spare. There doesn't seem to be a shy bone in her body, as she's the kind of girl who is willing to start conversation with any random passerby. Despite her age, she often maintains a very soothing, almost motherly presence outside of practice, which is most obvious in the way she treats her constant companion, though she'll act like a mother towards anyone who will let her. That being said, Kokoro is incredibly loyal to those she calls friends, and the compassionate mother side of her personality gives way to fierce protective instincts when they are in danger, and has lead her to hate bullies. She also has a dislike for liars, but that's more connected to her Keyblade's ability to alert Kokoro to the fact that someone is consciously lying to her...through pain. Those that knowingly lie to her are quickly met with a very strong and very stern "Do not lie to me," that may even seem a bit out of character for her if you don't know her very well.
History: Kokoro was born the single child of two very loving parents in the world known as Radiant Garden. While her father worked as an assistant for a local shop, her mother worked as a receptionist for a local doctor, and young Kokoro practically grew up playing and helping around the doctor's office. As she grew, she became very good at telling truth from lies, and developed her motherly tendencies there, which is why when a strange little boy appeared before her in a flash of light when she was eight, she immediately laid claim to him.

In reality, after several attempts to wake the boy (who had fainted upon his arrival) with no success, Kokoro practically begged her mother for help getting the boy to the doctor. From there, he remained unconscious for a week, and Kokoro spent all the time she could with him--talking, reading, playing music, occasionally falling asleep... By the time the boy, who eventually came to be called Kumori, woke, he had made a lifelong friend without ever saying a word. While he seemed confused at first, he eventually warmed up to the idea and began to follow Kokoro everywhere, as well as cling to her, particularly when upset. He had no memory of life before waking up in a room in the doctor's practice, but Kokoro didn't let this bother her--instead she set about teaching her newfound friend what she could, and otherwise doing her best to help him. Things went on like this for some time, and then suddenly, everything changed.

One day, Radiant Garden was the same as always, the next, it was a shadow of its former self. Kokoro, her family, and Kumori all escaped to Traverse Town, however they might not have made it without the boy. The night before, Kumori had woken up Kokoro, claiming he'd been kept awake by whispers, and insisted they wake her parents and leave. Initially, Kokoro dismissed this as a nightmare, which Kumori often had, though upon further insistence, she finally listened...right before the panic and the screams of horror started. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning. Once in Traverse Town, where the creatures known as Heartless began to appear frequently, Kokoro and her family watched as Kumori became more reserved, and almost terrified of leaving the house, and had episodes in which he wasn't exactly himself. Kokoro attempted to do what she could for her friend, but there was little she was capable of doing, aside from being there for him. At least, until she and Kumori ran into a peculiar pair of women with silver hair who used keys as weapons.

It had been a particularly bad day--Kokoro had had to beg Kumori to let her leave the house in order to go grocery shopping, and when he realized there was no stopping her, he insisted on going along. Somewhere during the trip, the boy noticed Heartless, and practically dragged Kokoro in the opposite direction before being stopped by the appearance of more of the creatures...and a pair of women fighting them. After they had eliminated the Heartless, Kokoro approached with Kumori in tow to thank the two for defeating the creatures and saving them, and this decision would change their lives forever. Masters Xin and Xaya knew something was different about the pair of children immediately, and closer inspection on Xaya's part revealed a girl who contained a strong light, and a boy who was slowly losing his heart to darkness that wasn't his. Where many other Masters would have shunned the boy, or even destroyed him, Xin and Xaya instead decided to offer the power of the Keyblade to both the children. Kokoro jumped at the possibilities this offered, secretly harboring the hope the Keyblade or the Guild might be able to help Kumori's condition. The pair were not recruits long before it was very apparent that Kumori attracted attention from Masters...and not all of it was good. Luckily they also didn't have to wait long before Masters Xin and Xaya appeared again, this time to take the pair under their wing as Apprentices. The twin Masters treated Kokoro and Kumori much like their own children, and began to lead Kokoro and Kumori through training centered around the idea of balance. The two now fight better as two halves of a whole than they do separately.
Keyblade: Truth Seeker (pictured)- A longer Keyblade that provides slight boost in attack, it also has alerts Kokoro when people are consciously lying to her...through pain. The more a person lies to her, the more pain she feels. She also has a knack for ice magic.
Other: Apprenticed with Kumori to the twin Masters Xin and Xaya (http://pre00.deviantart.net/e187/th/pre/i/2015/098/d/5/xinandxaya_by_winter_oneechan-d8p06zx.jpg)

Name: Kumori (last name unknown)
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown, estimated to be 17 or 18
Alignment: Light
Rank: Apprentice
Appearance: Standing a head taller than his best friend, Kumori easily stands out in crowds, despite his best efforts to stay "invisible." His attempts are further dashed by his incredibly pale skin, messy hair the color of freshly fallen snow, and honey colored eyes, which tend to attract notice even among the incredibly diverse members of the Keyblade Guild. Despite his odd features, Kumori dresses surprisingly normally, usually wearing a simple grey t-shirt and a black hoodie along with a pair of well-worn and faded blue jeans and a beat up pair of black sneakers. The only notable feature of the hoodie is that it bears a messily stitched on piece of pale blue fabric in the shape of a heart on the left side chest area, a feature added by Kokoro herself.
Personality: Where his best friend Kokoro is outgoing and friendly, Kumori is almost painfully shy, and it's obvious in how he often tags along after Kokoro wherever she goes, but tries to hide behind the shorter woman when she starts up conversations with others. Provided you take the time to try, you can earn his trust and friendship, but most give up. They also miss out on having a very loyal and protective friend in doing so. Kumori would do almost anything for those he considers friends (right now, just Koko and their Masters), but he's incredibly reluctant to let anyone new close to his heart, likely because it's a rather...scary place. What his shyness hides is an unstable heart that's been halfway taken by darkness...against Kumori's will. This has resulted in a kind of unwanted second personality, one that simply wants to destroy everyone and everything, that sits in the back of Kumori's mind, waiting for the chance to take over.
History: The first memory Kumori has is of darkness and pain, pain so strong that it took over his world, consumed it. The second he has is waking up in an unfamiliar room with an unfamiliar girl singing an unfamiliar song. While he didn't recognize the girl, he immediately felt he could trust her, a feeling that soon proved itself right as he was introduced to life again, with the girl, Kokoro, almost always at his side. While the adults around him offered help, it was Kokoro who Kumori often found helping him before he knew he needed help, let alone knew to ask for it. It was this, and that initial trust that led Kumori to cling to Kokoro, sometimes literally.

If fate had been kind, Kumori would have eventually learned from his best friend, and likely would have become a little more outgoing, made more friends. He might have been the kind of guy everyone loved, and spent his days in happiness and warmth. Fate, however, was not kind. Despite Kokoro and her family's never ending kindness and patience, darkness was worming its way into the boy's heart, not that Kumori knew or welcomed it. The intruder manifested itself in many forms--in nightmares and phantom whispers, in unbidden thoughts, and unexplainable chest pain, all of which Kumori struggled (and often failed) to hide. Kokoro became a barrier between her best friend and people as he grew more and more shy, and she became accustomed to Kumori crawling into bed with her after his frequent nightmares.

Which is why, much to Kumori's dismay, Kokoro didn't quite believe him when he woke her one night, insisting that they wake her parents and leave. Through the past week, the voices had been getting louder, stronger, grown drastically in number, and now they were hungry. It wasn't until he began to edge towards complete hysteria that she finally caved and they went to wake her parents...just as the screams of terror started, and the voices that were once whispers became a roar.

While Kumori escaped with Kokoro and her family, however, he was completely changed. This new world they ended up in, Traverse Town, was inhabited by a small but steady population of creatures called Heartless by those who lived in it. They were dangerous, and while that was apparent in their actions, there was something…else there. At least, for Kumori, there was. He seemed to know when they were coming, and something about them terrified him. Soon he found difficulty in bringing himself to leave the house, even with Kokoro--even for Kokoro. Of course, it was a day in which Kokoro practically dragged him out of the house that changed their lives forever.

He knew they were coming. The whispers in his head grew louder and louder, and it wasn’t long before he couldn’t ignore it, and took his turn dragging Kokoro away from the area…only to fall in the path of another group of Heartless. Much to his surprise, however, they also encountered a pair of silver-haired young women who were fighting off the Heartless with strange weapons shaped like Keys. Once the Heartless were gone, Kokoro took the lead and approached the women in order to thank them. Kokoro jumped at the possibilities this offered, secretly harboring the hope the Keyblade or the Guild might be able to help Kumori's condition. http://www.khwiki.com/images/b/b2/Glimpse_of_Darkness_KHD.png
Note that Kumori is extremely bad at using magic--if he can even manage to pull off casting a spell, it's very weak in power., something that absolutely perplexes Master Xaya after working with him on it for quite a while now.

Name: Synna Bard
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Alignment: Dark
Rank: Apprentice
Appearance:
http://pre00.deviantart.net/e29d/th/pre/i/2015/098/4/6/unwrittensynnaref_by_winter_oneechan-d8p070u.jpg
And another sketchy one if curious... (http://pre09.deviantart.net/9955/th/pre/i/2015/098/9/f/synnainaction_by_winter_oneechan-d8p072p.jpg)
At 5'6" Synna Bard is hardly the tallest Member of the guild, nor is she the heaviest. While she appears surprisingly slim and...well, unused to battle or training, don't let it fool you--she's a formidable foe. Her long, smoky black hair is almost never seen out of its neat bun piled atop her head, and it's just as rare to catch a smile on her lips. Her rusty brown, almost red eyes are always observing and calculating, which often drives other students away from her, not that Synna minds--she'd just as well work alone.

Synna is typically seen wearing a large black cloak that reaches her knees, and bears a series of grey lotus outlines along the bottom, as well as a silver lotus decoration at the neck. This usually hides her collection of shirts that look like old dresses that have been separated from their skirts, and are instead paired with slightly baggy grey pants, the ends of which disappear into mid-calf length black combat boots. While this may sound odd enough, the combination works out surprisingly well, much to Synna's secret pleasure.
Personality: Synna isn't exactly the kind of person most would think of as pleasant--she's about as warm as an ice cube and severely goal-oriented. She doesn't really focus on making or keeping friends, and often regards other people as tools to be used, though she does respect authority, so long as she feels it's well-placed. In fact, she's much more at home in a quiet area, reading through books, usually tied to magic. Synna also has a desperate need to prove she's better than everyone else at everything she can, though it actually pushes her to make choices that prevent her from reaching her full potential. She may also suffer from survivor's guilt, but there's no way she'll ever admit it, and has a near obsession with keeping things organized that most think was either learned from or fed by her Master.
History: Synna was born into a world where things such as seven-league boots and cloaks of invisibility actually exist, and it's a great misfortune to be born the eldest of three. Luckily (and a bit unluckily), she was born the middle child of the three children of the Bard family, which meant she was not doomed to fail first and worst when setting out to seek her fortune, as her older sister would. It did, however, mean she was often looked over in favor of her younger brother, who would surely succeed in finding his fortune. Growing up, she hardly thought it fair that her brother should get all the glory in life simply for having been born last, while her eldest sister had long resigned herself to their fate.

Synna was saved from being overlooked completely as a child through books. She had always loved books, especially storybooks, and was constantly finding new ones to read, until she accidentally discovered a spellbook one day, along with the fact she had a knack for magic. With this discovery, her parents sought out an apprenticeship for her with a local wizard. This, however, could have gone far better, as Synna felt she was forced to compete for Wizard Arthur's attention...with his adopted son. The boy was only a few years younger than her, and considered a bad omen to everyone who knew of him; both his parents having passed on in a short time after his birth, and marked by several odd features. Some believed he was simply bad luck, others a demon, among several other things. Regardless, Wynn Heath was to be avoided like the plague, and due to an old friendship with the child's parents, he was Wizard Arthur's adopted son. The man seemed to adore the boy, and often tried to force Wynn and Synna together in a misguided attempt to start a friendship. This backfired. Terribly.

Because Synna had often been overlooked in favor of her younger brother, she felt she was competing with Wynn for Wizard Arthur's attention (though he treated both like his own). This lead to the development of a superiority complex when she discovered through experience that Wynn was terrible at working magic. She did her best to ignore the "useless" boy without upsetting her mentor, and often put Wynn down when forced to interact with him. Her hatred of him built up over the years until it finally snapped... And the day she told Wynn Heath how useless he was and how much she hated him was the day her world was lost. The last thing she remembers is being surrounded by black creatures before waking up in the streets of Traverse Town. As far as she knows, she is the only one who escaped her world.

But she has hope. After being taken in by a mage from another lost world, who taught her some of his magic as well, and beginning an apprenticeship under him, she was sought out by a Seeker, and brought into the guild. Her still-remaining determination to stand out and be the "most successful" at seeking out her fortune, as well as remnants of her hatred for Wynn brought her to the attention of those Keyblade wielders who were more fond of the Darkness. This was also when she began to catch glimpses of a young man who looked astoundingly similar to Wynn...but older. When it was time for her to become an Apprentice, it was a Dark-allied Master who took her on...and convinced her that it would be possible to bring back her world, if only she could learn how to control the Darkness. Convinced this would cement her place as most successful of her siblings and impress Wizard Arthur, Synna is determined to learn and master control of the darkness. She's also determined to rid herself of the "phantom" Wynn she's been seeing for years.
Keyblade: Grimoire (pictured)- a medium length Keyblade that provides a large boost to its users magic abilities. While capable of using almost all basic magic, Synna excels in the use of fire and lighting magic, and is fairly good at using dark magic.
Other: Crazy chick is crazy, is apprenticed to one Master Astrid Kain. If anyone knows what world Synna is from, I will love you forever

Huzzah! :D The triumphant heroes return (plus one)! Glad to have them back! (Also interested in seeing how Synna and Vanessa get along xD)

Accepted!

It should be noted, though, that Kaidan also comes from Radiant Garden and also lived in Traverse Town for a few years. Would they perhaps know each other?

Also, as a side note, I might not actually be able to get up the RP until Monday (or Tuesday?) Going on a family trip ^^

...Sanctus, is that Agnes Oblige?

Anyway, regardless of when the RP is posted, it'll likely take me time to reply. Ijust started my next quarter and am now under fire from a heavy homework load on top of a Nazi job that owns my life. I will attempt tp post when I can.

I actually don't have anything. Life and other things I guess have just made me forget and fill up my spare time. If I may ask questions though,

1. Is there anything specific I should know about keyblade designs? I mainly understand that they should be related to our world that the character derives from?

2. Does the character have to initially be human? I'd understand this completely, just something that intrigues me (seeing as how in KH2 when Sora is in the Lion King World {forgot the name}, he is transformed into a young lion/cub and is still sble to figt with a keyblade.

3. When we finish our form, shall we send it to you via pm or on here?

Regarding Keyblades, they represent the power of a person's heart, so it mostly reflects that exact subject. If your character used another weapon previously, that old weapon can make it's way into the design of the Keyblade. Their morale affinities, their elemental alignments, likes/dislikes, stuff like that. S it could be related to a lot of things but the main point is that of which I mentioned before: resembling the power of the heart.

If by form you mean SU, you can just post them here. I'm sure Char won't berate me for mentioning that. XD

Well, there you go xD I didn't even need to answer, haha. But yes, as Sanctus said, non-human characters are acceptable (and would be very interesting [also technically Mickey isn't human so there]).

With the keyblade, you're more than welcome to use a canon one from any of the KH games. Heck, Chase's and Vanessa's were from Days xD

If you totally finish your SU, please do post them here. ^^ But if you're wanting to hop into the RP quicker, you can PM me simple details about your character and we can talk :) (note: this is for current reserves only, if any one else out here is reading this xD)

Guys, I've decided to add another character to my roster--or rather, bring back another character (with some modifications) xD

Name: Celeste Piper

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Alignment: Light

Rank: Apprentice

Appearance: Of average build and height, Celeste doesn’t stand out too much in a crowd. Some people would think she looks pretty plain—not strikingly beautiful, but not ugly either. She has long, auburn hair that hangs below her shoulders, which she only pulls half-way out of her face. Sideways bangs hang down over hazel eyes, bright on her slightly freckled face. Unlike her Master (Siros), who favors bright-colored robes, Celeste wears a simple, dull-green cape over a simple outfit. Her special piece of armor lies at the point where the cape meets under her chin—circular with a graceful heart set at its center.

Personality: Though some might find her rather admirable, Celeste doesn’t consider herself to be anyone significant. In fact, she thinks she’s rather ordinary—as far as Keyblade Bearers go. She works hard to get her assignments done for school, then in her free time she enjoys spending time with friends like the average teenager. Like other teens, she can be stubborn and a little defiant at times (even to the Guild leaders).

However, she can’t help but be a little extraordinary in some ways. Celeste is quite the hardy individual, having withstood much greater trials then other teens. Very independent and dependable, she knows how to use her head. She isn’t easily influenced by others, and thinks for herself, thank you very much.

Granted with all her powers, Celeste certainly has a sense of responsibility, especially to those around her (doubly, since she’s the Healer’s Apprentice). She can’t stand injustices, and will fight for her beliefs. Celeste will work hard to maintain peace and balance, both in the greater world, and with her friends. Despite her dedication to her work, she does harbor some bitterness towards prideful/pretentious keybladers—particularly her mother who remains absent in her life. She despises hypocrisy and cowardice.

Unfortunately, she can at times cause worse problems, given that she is impatient and short-tempered. She easily becomes defensive, perhaps even mean when she feels wronged. This often leads her to say things she will later regret. With anything, she tries to be realistic, and will only step up to lead if called upon.

History: Celeste and her father both knew what she was destined for, even at the tender age of six.

The girl grew up in a world not unlike our own. People went day to day with complete ignorance of the paranormal powers surrounding their universe. They lived simple, uncomplicated lives, with little fear or change. Worries didn’t involve survival—rather, they coped with finding a balance between family, work, school, and the future. Celeste’s story began with a similar, mundane pattern, but she didn’t mind it. After all, it was peaceful and secure. But little by little, she realized that her family wasn’t so ordinary.

Her mother was a keyblade bearer.

That woman was everything a little girl could look up to, even if she was a little different than other mothers. Rebecca was brave, strong, and very kind. While Celeste felt content in her little world, she wouldn’t find out later that her mother was having a hard time staying in one place for too long. Though she dearly loved her loyal husband and doting daughter, Rebecca’s heart still longed for adventure. Being a keyblade bearer, she had an innate sense of wanderlust that she couldn’t deny for long. She stayed as long as she could, until she couldn’t take a predictable life much longer.

The day came when she finally deserted her family. Though the memory of her departure is somewhat clouded with the passing of time, Celeste still remembers that night. As a little girl, she couldn’t understand (and never would), and for the first time, she faced an uncertainty that made her fearful. Rebecca, full of love for her child, could see that she was scared. And so, she offered a gift and words of encouragement.

“In your hand, take this Key,” she spoke those fateful words, offering the hilt of her keyblade to her daughter. “So long as you have the makings, then through this simple act of taking, you its wielder one day may be. And you will find me…”

Thus, the keyblade was passed on to Celeste, though she wouldn’t earn it until much later in her history. Rebecca disappeared that night, and years have passed without any sign of her return. Celeste and her father were left to fight a lonely future alone. At first, Celeste felt buoyed by her mother’s gift, but as she grew older, she became bitter. Her shattered family faced staggering trials, and she couldn’t help but question her mother’s honor. Why hadn’t she returned? Where was she? Why would she just abandon them? Gradually, Celeste became convinced that her mother had been a coward. She wanted nothing to do with her—and certainly, nothing to do with the keyblade.

Trying to wipe Rebecca from her memory, Celeste did everything to live like an ordinary teenager. She got involved with all kinds of school activities, and worked hard at part-time jobs. Luckily for her, she found a great model in her father, who, despite losing his wife, remained strong. They worked together to get the bills paid, bellies fed, and a home made.

Unfortunately, she had a sad lesson to learn: the life of a keyblade bearer is never their own. The paranormal always finds them, even in the most ordinary of places.

One day, when she was fourteen years old, a Seeker came to their door. Fresh from the Mark of Master, the Seeker was eager to bring his first recruit into the Guild, but Celeste was going to give him a run for his money. She flat-out refused. No matter how hard he tried to convince her otherwise, the Seeker couldn’t get her to change her mind. Eventually, he gave up, and, disheartened, returned to the Guild. Celeste hoped that that would be the last she would ever hear about keyblades. Destiny had other plans.

Months after the Seeker left, monsters started appearing in the streets. These enemies weren’t easily slain by bullets or modern weapons. For every fiend shot down, several more would take its place. Nothing could stop their advancement, and quickly the peace of a simple world was shattered. Inch by inch, the chaos came to Celeste’s neck of the woods.

Her school was put in a lock-down when they came. Cowering in a dark corner with her trembling friends and classmates, Celeste felt a fear she had not felt since the night her mother left. The shadows around her shuddered, and slowly, the Heartless began appearing. Her classmates screamed, but they had nowhere to run. The Shadows began attacking, and Celeste watched helplessly as hearts were ripped out of innocent people, letting them fade into darkness. She was utterly terrified—until a rising anger overwhelmed her. What was she doing? She had to save her friends! She couldn’t let any more lives be needlessly lost.

She had the key. She just needed to use it.

In a brilliant flash of light, a keyblade appeared in her hand. Hardly realizing what she was doing, Celeste slashed through the Heartless, hacking at every last one until the classroom was devoid of them. But she didn’t stop there. After making sure her friends were alright, she raced from the school, looking for the one last person she wanted to save: her father.

Out in the streets, she saw the complete chaos that was befalling her hometown. Her world was literally falling apart. Darkness was slowly closing in around it, destroying everything familiar to her eyes. Though her thoughts were filled with concern for her father, Celeste quickly became overwhelmed with an army of Heartless. She tried fighting her way through, but the sheer number of them was staggering. Just when she thought she was a goner, just as the darkness was closing in, figures jumped in protectively around her, wielding weapons of light. The Seeker had returned, and he brought friends this time.

The next thing Celeste remembers, she woke up within the Healer’s Wing of the Keyblade Guild. Ill news awaited her: the Seeker and his friends had been unable to save her world. Everything she knew… everyone… was gone. And now, she was truly alone.

But perhaps not as alone as she had thought. Though she was a real mess when she first arrived, people were making a genuine effort to befriend her. Celeste discovered that many of the keyblade bearers were good, honest people, despite what she had earlier assumed with the bitter departure of her mother. Though the loss of her world still pains her, Celeste came to grips with reality. She had nowhere else to go, no one else to turn to, and so she agreed to train with the Guild. She had been given a gift, and whether it was a blessing or a curse, she realized that she had to learn to use it. Deep down, she wants to make sure that no one else has to go through what she did—and more so, she wants to find out if there is a way to bring back her father.

The Guild is her only key.

Everytime I read a character's history and come up on the "keyblade" part of the SU I get the new keyblade screen and sound in my head. Anyone else get that?

Your posts look good, guys! I thought about doing a fight scene too but three in a row didn't seem right, naw. Hope it isn't too cumbersome to read. Here are pictures in case you get lost when I refer to aspects of architecture you may or may not be familiar with:

In this one picture you can see both the shoji and tatami. (http://aspenten.com/gallery/shoji_gallery/shoji_tatami.jpg) The shoji is basically the walls that slide open as you see, and the tatami mats are there on the floor. Notice there is no western carpeting. Kinda didn't want to come out and speak like we were in a world with the same geography and history as we have so that was kinda tough to avoid. You can't tell very well but there's a darker brown line in the opening there on the outside which is part of the outside veranda which functions as a kind of hallway. There's a garden there but I didn't describe one because I doubt Everlastia has Japanese flora and also because if I recall correctly they were usually provided by the government often for temples rather than ordinary homes.

I haven't referred to this yet but this (http://kesterhouse.com/interior/photos/j_genkan_01.jpg) is a genkan. It's an entryway where they leave their shoes. Notice how you can see straight through the house. Very few rooms in a traditional Japanese home are devoted to a specific purpose. Beds are put up during the day which is why I never refer to one.

And a gate. (http://cdn.zoolvainterior.com/images/files.fbstatic.com/PostImages/1795527/0/ace9ad31-01d9-46bc-b74b-901fa0f83681.jpg) And a random house. (http://m6.i.pbase.com/g4/81/662581/2/61118636.DSC_15820517.jpg)

Now back to your regularly scheduled program. ^_^;;

Got something here now. Will probably be improved some other time or if you request FedoraChar

Name: Valorn

Gender: Male

Age: Believed to be around 24 in human years, true age is unknown. Aging process is believed to be the same as a normal human's for reasons still being investigated.

Alignment: Light

Rank: Bookbinder

Appearance: Although just a normal cat, Valorn is a little more than the size of a tiger cub, nearly being comparable to the size of Mickey. Despite his light weight, he is agile and stronger than most cats around his size.. He has a thin brown and black pelt, so none of his fur can get in the way of his fighting. He is generally seen wearing a blue scarf for any clothing, although at any time he is bound to change it (he doesn't really understand the concept of "fashion").

For striking features that are able to be seen when first meeting Valorn are his icy blue eyes, enough to be intimidating because of how "cold" his stare is. Other feature that tend to stick out is a giant slash through his right ear, making it look as if it's been cut in half. Even though his main weapon of use is his keyblade, heh as huge claws that are able to cut open wounds and allow him to figt as backup. Despite being rarely out, it's a clear sign that Valorn's been angered, and their size shows this.

Personality: Valorn is a clear-cut, undeniable narcissist. He has no problem with bragging about what he's done, how he'd like to do things, and will always be willing to argue on an opinion, whether he's right or wrong. He's been known to be annoying to be around and most of the people who talk to him are mainly for sparring or because he's got some helpful advice, whether the person wants to hear it or not. Sarcasm is one of his arts that can be lashed from his tongue, including logic and anger. He never passes up an opportunity to crack someone with it, and it is fairly common. He's done it too many, even elders and fellows masters. Despite all of these shortcomings, however, there is a partially different side to Valorn.

Valorn is regarded for his excellent strategic mindset. He never goes into a fight without thinking about it first, and he's always looking to plan ahead in case of movements. He is known for being able to turn battles that could have been lost to a win. During a lot of his spare time, he is known to study anything relating to war and battle, giving him a clear outlook of how they all work. He is also prone to wasting much of time exploring theories, whether they are just false garbage or have multiple reasons they're true. With this in mind, his reading makes him what he considers fairly intelligent, even if he does not of the wisdom of the Elders. A final point to this is that while brash and cold, he cares for all those he can save, and will even put himself "in the line of fire" to protect others. He always tries to be as selfless as possible, whether this is his greatest strength or biggest weakness is yet to be shown.

History: Very little is known about where Valorn comes from and how he came to be where he is now. His home world was modestly comparable to a large continent, where tribes of cats lived in the wild and took care of each other. Born to a prideful clan, Valorn was originally named Stonekit, and grew up under the rules of what had been called "Thunderclan". As he lived his life like normal, he grew up and became known as Stoneclaw, and worked with his people. But then, a great darkness threatened the land once again, but it was much different than what had previously been fought; it was the Heartless. As people around him died, he was the only one given a chance to fight. As a blade appeared to him one day, he picked it up in his jaws, and fought those who threatened him off as best as possible. Luckily for him, a Seeker got to his world as he was about to be taken. Unbeknownst to said Seeker, Valorn had shown that he was the designated Keyblade wielder, and had to be taken to the academy. Escaping the world immediately, the keyhole was left open and had been infected with Heartless.

After this, the young cat was trained in the arts of magic and combat. He went through his training quickly, putting all of his time that was not sleeping into studying and working. He quickly shot through the classes and combat training, working his time away to get back to his world. During this time, he changed his name to Valorn in accordance to approval from his master, as he thought it fit him more than what he had. Three years after his initial joining, he managed to pass the Mark of Mastery, as his skills in combat and the fact that it shown he had complete control of any darkness within him. With this being done, Valorn headed back to his home world, to seal the keyhole. He came back a day later, having accomplished his goal and sealed the keyhole. His world became a World Book and was put into the Library like all others.

Soon after another year or two in the Keyblade Guild, Valorn became a Bookbinder and started his work in the Library. Although not as secret as Bookbinders tend to keep themselves, not much is actually known about what work he does there aside from his knowledge. One of the main reasons it is believed he decided to become a Bookbinder is to protect his World Book, while some sum it up to his intelligence. All is unknown however.

Keyblade:
http://www.khwiki.com/images/2/20/End_of_Pain_KH3D.png
End of Pain-
Unlike what most people would believe, Valorn's keyblade has an interesting effect on his body. Due to him being limited by his body, End of Pain uses most of Valorn's magic to make his body stronger as to say, making his physical strength and endurance nearly tenfold of what it originally is. Basically, he is able to lift what a normal human male can lift (150 lbs. or so) and able to stand in a fight longer than most could. For any magic that Valorn knows, he's only studied healing, although it weakens him more in a figt after using it.

Other: I'm really sorry for the appearance being really short. It's hard to type up something for a cat, so I just went with what I thought would work best. Oh well, we can all make fun of his scarf later! Also, I really do apologize if the backstory doesn't work out / is just really bad. I couldn't think of much sadly, and lack of BBS knowledge besides a little of gameplay doesn't help ^^"

I wanted him to be a Bookbinder because it mainly intrigued me as a role. Also, don't question him on that. The true question we need to ask is how the heck he got a scarf wrapped around his neck and why he considers it fashionable.

Kidding aside, I really am gonna buckle down on this xD 1st things first, I need to finish our conversation Comatose. I'm hoping I can catch ya tonight on Skype and finish it off.

Although I do have one concern: WAR. Should we put off the RP until after WAR, or...?

The time helps me to fine tune some details in my character so either way works for me. Sabi's probably gonna be busiest of all of us in WAR so her judgment is probably most important.

Hope your internet and sickness improves and that you are doing well.

Wow, what a streak of bad luck! Hope things are better now.

As for WAR, I'm not participating this year, so it won't benanproblem for me, but yeah, I think Sabi will be the most affected.

My love of Kingdom hurts Hearts will not stop me.

I don't think a lot of people in this RP are participating much in the WAR RP. I think it's fine to leave it to go.

Allllllll right, everybody!

My sincerest apologies for the long delay--I didn't mean to put this off until after the WAR, but said WAR actually ate a lot of my free time. But now that it's over, I'm back with vengeance!

My next post is going up in a few seconds, and I am thinking that we'll go ahead and plan a time-skip ahead to after lunch, and get the trial for Vanessa started. Winter and Comatose can go ahead and continue their interactions with my characters; Master-class characters should go ahead and start heading to the Great Hall--if you have an apprentice character, you can take control of their NPC Masters and have them go through the trial.

There are going to be some serious plot points with Comatose and Winter 's characters, so I need confirmation that you guys are going to be around :D

((Also, Comatose, my mention for you in my RP post didn't show up for some reason... but Celeste's there with Frago, I promise xD))

So...it's been a while since I've heard anything from anyone... Are we still keeping this going? Do we have issues preventing people from posting? What's going on?

Sorry, August was a whirlwind of busy for me--although if I'm being honest with myself I'm also suffering from widespread laziness and dragon hell thanks Sabi Yes, this is still good to go--you guys have worked too hard on your characters, and I'm not going to let that go to waste. :D There's just a lot of exposition I need to do next aaaaaand, I'm procrastinating badly. Someone kick my rear-end into gear, pls? xD No, srsly, if you catch me online elsewhere tell me to get on here and post xDDD

My next post will be up soon, I promise :D
