As the title suggests, what are some of the skills (or skill if you're not feeling ambitious) that you'd like to learn in the future? You can play around with the definition of "skill" here. It doesn't have to be limited to just cooking, painting, driving, etc. It could be like a social skill or a really nifty ability (like the ability to solve crossword puzzles under five minutes)! ^u^ Feel free to share your thoughts!

Some social skills sure would be nice.
Other than that I'd like to develop skills as an archer and a martial artist. I don't plan on fighting crime or anything, I just think it would be cool to be good at those things.

I'd like to be more clever and witty. Especially with comebacks.
I also wish I could draw better. As in make stuff DeviantArt would actually want to frame. :P

I'd love to learn to make flash animations, but I can't draw to save my life

It's sad, I used to have that same aspiration, actually DID learn how to make Flash animations, made a few really good ones, and then stopped because making them is so much work... >.<
*Sigh...*

I'd like to be able to sew and operate a sewing machine. I think dress-making is such a cool and really handy skill. I'd also like to learn how to edit videos; I'm amazed by how people are able to use all those special CGI and effects, etc.
There's more but these are what I've at the top of my head.

Hoboy...
I'd like to be able to learn, fluently, at least one other foreign language, and ideally three others; Mandarin, Spanish, and German. I've never had much of a way with foreign languages though, but I've always wanted a reason to really give it a try.
I'd love to be able to play a musical instrument; piano, ideally, but I wouldn't mind being able to play the guitar either.
And, like you Ghostwriter, I'd like to be able to edit videos well.

I'd like to be able to draw everything I think about so that my stories could have pictures to go with them. I'd also like to be able to keep better reigns on my temper.

I'd love to do martial arts. I wish I did something like learn another language when I was little. Horse riding sounds like a lot of fun too. Learning archery would be awesome. xD

Martial arts sounds very useful! It'd be definitely invaluable to pick up self-defense moves. Don't wanna get mugged at night. x3

Personally I would like to be able to do advanced driving, such as intentionally sliding a car when the situation requires it. For example if someone coming the other way loses control and is going to hit the side/back of my car, I want to be able to swing the back out. Only problem is that there is no cheap and legal way to practise doing stuff like that. I dunno, maybe I just watch too much fast and the Furious.
I would lose to be a better drummer. Personally, I think if I had a proper kit, I would be able to pick it up quickly. Currently I have an electric kit due to it being quieter, and I am able to plug it into my computer to record. The only issue is that to get it running takes ages, and usually if I am motivated to play, I will grab a guitar off my wall, or turn on my digital piano, as opposed to booting up the kit, opening the computer program, loading a sound library and finding a powerful enough speaker.
I would also love to be able to play violin and cello. I have played a cello once and was getting the hang of it. However cellos are very expensive.
Back on the car topic, I would love to know how cars work. I would like for my next car to be a newer model of the car I currently have, but I want to mod it like crazy (put a bigger engine in it, turbo it etc). However I have little to no mechanical knowledge. Anything I do know about cars is what I have learnt from hanging out with a mate who loves them for years and him becoming an apprentice mechanic at Toyota.

There are lots of things I'd like to be able to do! Pretty much anything to do with crafting, for one. My next project is making a quilt but I'd also like to be able to make clothes. I just recently started using a sewing machine.
I'd also love to be able to play music (so I am trying to teach myself piano) and be able to speak a second language (so I am trying to teach myself German).
I also think it would be awesome to be able to do a lot of physical labour things like electricians/plumbers/carpenters/mechanics. It would be cool to know how it all works and be able to repair and make things myself.

I would love to learn new Grass-type moves, such as Energy Ball and Grass Knot! :) I can only learn them using TMs, though.

I suppose it'd be pretty cool to learn how to play the violin properly... I took some lessons a year or so ago, but nothing stuck with me due to my bad memory and ADHD. I'd also like to play the piano... but it's virtually impossible for me to do something complicated with both my hands at once.
If expanding on current skills counts, I'd also like to be a better visual artist, graphic designer, and voice actor.
I also just want to learn how to compose music, like for video games. Maybe even learn how to code some things.

This is a great life skill (speaking from experience) but also dangerous because the way you get good at it is that it’s on automatic. There are times when I know I’m gonna make a snarky comment but don’t actually know what I’m about to say until it comes out. It’s nearly gotten me in hot water.
I would love to pick up Mandarin Chinese and learn more complex mathematics (in both the dictionary and mathematical senses). I would have to find time for both and refine the languages I already know before I do the former.
